Now imagine applying that phrase to the Bible—the living Word of God. Every time we open it, God is saying, “Watch this. Watch what I've done, watch what I'm doing, and watch what I will do.”

Si certaines sont jugées efficaces, d'autres, comme l'aide au maintien dans la file, posent problème. L'Automobile Magazine a mené une enquête auprès de conducteurs et pointe des dysfonctionnements qui, dans certains cas, pourraient être dangereux.

Loughborough are just coming into their own at the end of this season, beating Bristol Bears & Saracens in recent weeks… so Scaz has invited us to take a look around her house, to see what's in the water there. Lightning Head Coach, Nathan Smith, joins Scazzy to tell us all about Loughborough's pathways & the club he's building. Scaz then sits down with one of her youngest team mates, & one of the newest Red Roses, Lilli Ives Campion and a Red Rose of her generation, who is now coaching England U18s Ollie Perry to discuss everything from Sunter's glory days at uni, to the England pathway. Finally the trio are joined by Loughborough uni player, Emily ‘Mags' Maguire, who is a mentee on GSR & Vodafone's EmpowHER programme, to hear all about her journey into coaching. We keep learning more and more about the brain and how it can change with us and create new pathways. Kara got to totally geek out talking with Stefanie Faye about her favorite subject, the brain. They discuss how the brain chemically bonds us, the way we can hijack our own brain, how mistakes can help us grow with intention, and ways to regulate ourselves. Stefanie has a wealth of information and this episode is not one to miss. Stefanie Faye is a neuroscience specialist with expertise in optimizing learning, performance, attentional control, cognitive flexibility, neurodiverse challenges and emotion regulation using biofeedback, cognitive training and frameworks that integrate childhood experiences and family systems. Her graduate degree from New York University and fieldwork at the NYU Institute for Prevention Science focused on neuroplasticity, empathy and emotion regulation. She has worked as a school and family counselor, cognitive trainer, reading therapist, research analyst, coordinator of learning programs, and has analyzed many physiological aspects of nervous system states and brain functioning including electric conductance of the skin (GSR), facial electromyography (EMG), heart rate variability and quantitative electroencephalography (QEEG). She integrates all of this with her experience training in monasteries with meditation masters from Vietnam, India and West Africa. She currently runs the Neuro-Coach program, helping coaches and consultants integrate neuroscience into their programs. stefaniefaye.com instagram.com/stefanieffaye youtube.com/watch?v=Ix8o9EiDD3E
In episode 235 Louise Wood, S&C Coach at QPR Women, joins us. Specifically Louise will be looking at: Types of bone iinjuries How bones heal How to accelerate the healing process About Louise "Ten years ago I decided to go back to university and study sports rehab, followed by a masters in Strength & Conditioning. I jumped straight in the deep end getting internships with London Bronco's, The Forge Clinic, Cobham RFC and the Samoa Rugby. I was working in the NHS for three years in respiratory outpatients, then inpatients during the pandemic. Followed by a move to geriatric medicine. I decided that sport was where I wanted to be so I took a casual role at QPR. Three season later I am now working with the PDP and women's first team. Over the last three months I took a little sabbatical to trade football for rugby league at London Broncos as senior GSR with the men's 1st team and Head of rehab and S&C coach for the women's team. The immediate future involves hopefully seeing QPR women gain promotion to championship level and become full time footballers. As for the end game I'm slowly building my own clinic which will offer a broad spectrum of rehab and performance services for youth athletes, weekend warriors, professionals and older adults." In the early morning hours of March 24, 2012, Molly Young drove to her ex-boyfriend's apartment after receiving numerous calls and texts asking for help. The next morning, she was found in his room, on the floor next to his bed, with a gunshot wound to her head. Her death has initially ruled a suicide, but was amended to “undetermined”. The evidence is murky and circumstantial, but seems to heavily lean toward Molly having taken her own life, but is that the case? Send us a Text Message. What is service work in recovery? It's doing a task or a job that helps support others getting sober. In a meeting, it can be as small as putting chairs away to making coffee. It can be more involved like being a GSR at District, working at Area or GSO or volunteering for committees. In the end, it's doing the job that supports others getting sober. Steve and I are experienced with all kinds of service work and we hope you'll learn a little more about this important part of recovery and maybe even share your own experience.Do you find value in what the Sober Friends Podcast does? In this episode, Dr. Nathan Hall and Dr. Paola Tiedemann discuss their research on canine detection applications and the use of olfactometers. They explain that olfactometers are scientific instruments used to provide measured and standardized odors to animals. The researchers have been working on miniaturizing olfactometers and making them more rugged for various applications. They also discuss the merging of technology and dogs, predicting that within a few years, cameras and olfactometers could be used for initial dog training. They also explore the importance of the handler-dog relationship and the potential for technology to provide confirmation of the dog's findings. In this part of the conversation, Cameron and Paola discuss the importance of unifying the protocols and procedures used in scent detection. They emphasize the need to consider variables such as the length of time, collection methods, and the type of container used. They also discuss the plausibility of dogs remembering scents in real-world environments and the challenges of training dogs to match samples with different variations. They touch on the impact of factors like stress, medication, and age on human scent and the need for further research in these areas. They also highlight the importance of training dogs on a variety of targets and distractors to improve their ability to generalize and avoid false positives. Finally, they discuss the challenges of introducing new samples and variations in training and the need for ongoing evaluation and testing. In this final part of the conversation, Cameron Ford and Nathan Hall discuss the importance of challenging and critically evaluating detection dog training methods. They emphasize the need for accurate and informed decision-making in operational scenarios. They also explore the impact of odor concentration on a dog's ability to generalize and detect targets. The conversation then shifts to the research on firearms detection, including the significance of gunshot residue (GSR) and the volume of odor. They discuss the challenges of training dogs on different concentrations of odor and the importance of training on the actual weapon rather than just the powder. Finally, they touch on the ongoing research on ghost guns and the need to understand the odor profiles of 3D printed firearms.Joint Symposium for Working K9s April 7 -10 2025 http://jswk9.comFord K9 for everything Detection Dogs go visit http://www.fordk9.com

Hong Kong is at the forefront, with the imminent approval of spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs, signaling a strong institutional interest in cryptocurrency investments. This move is mirrored by China's largest funds gearing up to invest, and the general sentiment among Chinese investors marks a keen re-entry into the crypto space. Meanwhile, South Korea's political and economic climates are shaping its crypto market, with the recent elections poised to influence regulatory approaches and the ongoing trend of cryptocurrency trading at premium prices demonstrating robust local demand. In the regulatory domain, Singapore's granting of a crypto license to market maker GSR highlights the region's efforts to establish a structured and supportive crypto environment. Additionally, the gaming and legal sectors are not untouched; the FBI's subpoena of a Bitcoin Core developer over a theft case and the launch of the NFT-based game Nova Frontier X underline the diverse and expanding nature of crypto-related activities. These developments collectively depict a region that is increasingly becoming a hub for both crypto innovation and investment.________https://substack.com/@dcndailycryptonewshttps://www.udio.comNews Links
