Gerade heute, da Erinnerungspolitik von Rechts wie Links massiv unter Druck steht, sollten wir diesen Mythos, seine Entstehung und Wirksamkeit bis heute, genau betrachten. Dafür plädiert die Schriftstellerin und Sachbuchautorin Ines Geipel mit ihrem Buch „Landschaft ohne Zeugen. Buchenwald und der Riss der Erinnerung“. Der Historiker Rikola-Gunnar Lüttgenau arbeitet seit über 30 Jahren in der Gedenkstätte und sagt heute: "Ich begreife einen Ort wie Buchenwald nicht, wenn ich nur in Buchenwald nachschaue." Die aktuellen Wirtschaftsnachrichten mit Michael Weyland  Thema heute:     Urteil: Kunden müssen nicht für Stilllegung von Gasanschluss bezahlen – Finanztip rät zum Widerspruch    Gasnetzbetreiber dürfen die Kosten für die Stilllegung eines Gasanschlusses nicht an Verbraucher weitergeben. So hat das Oberlandesgericht Oldenburg kürzlich in einem Verfahren gegen den großen regionalen Netzbetreiber EWE Netz GmbH geurteilt. Nach einer aktuellen Auswertung des unabhängigen Geldratgebers Finanztip verlangen mindestens acht Netzbetreiber rechtswidrig solche pauschalen Entgelte für die Stilllegung oder den Rückbau von Gasanschlüssen. Zusammen versorgen sie knapp drei Millionen Gaskunden. Die Stilllegungskosten belaufen sich dabei zwischen 100 und 2.300 Euro. Rund die Hälfte aller Haushalte in Deutschland heizt noch mit Gas. Wer auf eine nachhaltigere Alternative wie eine Wärmepumpe umsteigen möchte, kann seinen Gasanschluss durch den zuständigen Netzbetreiber stilllegen lassen. Die dabei entstehenden Kosten dürfen nicht an die Verbraucher weitergegeben werden, wie das OLG Oldenburg vor kurzem geurteilt hat. Geklagt hatte die Verbraucherzentrale Niedersachsen. Im konkreten Fall hatte der Netzbetreiber EWE Netz GmbH für die Stilllegung 965 Euro berechnet und sich auf § 9 der Niederdruckanschlussverordnung (NDAV) berufen. Diese Rechtsauffassung hat das OLG Oldenburg zurückgewiesen (Az. 6 UKl 2/25). Finanztip rät zu Widerspruch und Rückforderung „Das Urteil ist ein wichtiges Signal für Verbraucherinnen und Verbraucher“, sagt man bei Finanztip. „Wer die Pauschale bereits zahlen musste, sollte diese dringend zurückfordern. Wer aktuell eine entsprechende Rechnung erhält, sollte gegen die Stilllegungskosten Widerspruch einlegen.“ Finanztip empfiehlt Betroffenen, die Zahlung unter Vorbehalt der Rückforderung aber trotzdem erstmal zu leisten, um laufende Mahn- oder Inkassoverfahren zu vermeiden. Der Geldratgeber bietet für den unkomplizierten Widerspruch und die Rückforderung kostenlose Musterschreiben an. „Es ist sinnvoll, sich frühzeitig bei den Netzbetreibern zu melden, auch wenn manche die Erstattung verweigern werden“, rät man. Uneinheitliche Begriffe der Netzbetreiber Nach Finanztip-Auswertung verwenden die Netzbetreiber die Begriffe Stilllegung, Außerbetriebnahme und Rückbau uneinheitlich und definieren diese teilweise anders als im Urteil des OLG Oldenburg zugrunde gelegt. Was bei einem Netzbetreiber als Stilllegung gilt, wird bei einem anderen als Rückbau bezeichnet, obwohl sich die zugrunde liegenden technischen Maßnahmen teilweise überschneiden.     Diesen Beitrag können Sie nachhören oder downloaden unter:

In this episode we speak with Dr. Ingo Mahn about the connection between oral health and sleep. Dr. Mahn is a trailblazer in the field of dentistry and is based in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Mahn grew up in Germany and moved to the United States at the age of 12. He graduated from Marquette University in 1985 after attending there for both undergrad and dental school. An early adopter of biological technology, Dr Mahn was one of the first users of Cerec in 1995. After discovering the benefits of a more natural approach, he founded Integrative Dental Solutions in 2001 and went on to earn a doctorate in Integrative Medicine from Capital University in Georgetown in 2004. In 2017, Dr Mahn and his family relocated to Phoenix, AZ where he founded Natural Dental Partners, a biological dentistry practice. Aside from running his dental practice, Dr Mahn currently spends most of his time focused on treating the root cause of breathing disorders, sleeping conditions, and TMJ dysfunction. He founded the Institute for Advanced Airway Studies to empower fellow dentists to establish superior airway programs in their practices for enhanced patient well-being. Kevin Mahn, President and Chief Investment Officer at Hennion & Walsh Asset Management — which runs the Smart Trust Unit Investment Trusts — says that he expects the Federal Reserve to cut rates over the next two years, which will drive investors to turn for income alternatives "since they can't find the 5 percent in the short-term CDs any more." That will drive investors toward business development companies and leveraged municipal closed-end funds, the latter benefitting from a reduced cost of leverage in a declining rate environment, as rates drive down. Mahn talks about using unit investment trusts — and specifically covers his firms UITs that invest in BDCs and closed-end funds — in current conditions, and talks about how the UIT structure can be a benefit for investors now.

As a result, he is increasingly optimistic about the next two years, though he says investors may want to lean into areas of the market that have lagged behind in the market's recent run. Meet Dr. Mahn, a trailblazer in the field of biological dentistry based in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Mahn grew up near Stuttgart, Germany and moved to the United States at the age of 12. He graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1985 and practiced in Wisconsin for nearly 30 years. After discovering the benefits of a more holistic approach, he founded Integrative Dental Solutions in 2001 and went on to earn a doctorate in Integrative Medicine from Capital University in Georgetown in 2004.
