I'm walking through my real planning process using our friends who are finally taking their first trip after years of us trying to convince them, but every tool and tip in this episode works no matter how many times you've already been.I start with the three decisions every Disney World trip planner has to make before anything else can fall into place: when you're going, how you're getting there, and where you're staying. Once those are locked in, you can start dissecting your days, but not before. I talk through how we landed on our own dates, why we chose to fly instead of drive this time, and how we balanced a moderate resort stay with a couple of nights using our Disney Vacation Club points so we could stretch our budget during one of the most expensive times of year to visit.From there I get into something most people skip completely when they're figuring out how to plan a Disney World trip, which is understanding your own planning personality, along with the personalities of everyone else coming with you. I share the Disney Enneagram quiz I use, paired with Disney characters, so you can see how a Helper plans differently than an Achiever or a Peacemaker, and why knowing this ahead of time can save you from burnout and save your group from mismatched expectations once you're actually at the parks.I also share the free Disney World planning workbook I use for every single trip we take, and I walk through exactly how I use it with first-timers. That includes a ride questionnaire so I know ahead of time who gets motion sick, who's never been on a roller coaster, and who has specific things they love or hate, like inversions, launches, or dark rides. Many of us are in the habit of resisting things we can't change, and it creates a lot of unhappiness and havoc in our lives. Byron Katie wrote a book entitled, 'Loving What is', and it presents the concept that when we stop resisting reality, we will find so much more peace in our lives. When we learn to focus on our response and choose to behave in ways that are in alignment with our values, we find much more satisfaction, contentment, happiness, and peace. Learning to love what is, rather than resisting and fighting against it, creates a solid space for growth. The Wyoming Realtors PAC has issued their 2026 endorsements.  It's a who's who of Democrats masquerading as Republicans. The average score of adhering to the Republican Party Platform from their honorees is 15% and they only vote with the Republican majority 17.2%--sure sounds like a bunch of conservatives to me. It looks like Ogden Driskill's "Become a Peacemaker" pledge didn't take. Not only is he making it up as he goes along on social media, he's letting his pal Tyler Lindholm and Americans for Prosperity do most of his dirty work for him in the Senate District 1 race.  I spoke with Speaker Chip Neiman about it.
