Welkom allemaal bij een nieuwe podcast met de missie om de online automotive beter maken. Vandaag praten we online met onze gast Tarek Kabrit, CEO en medeoprichter van Seez Datadriven solutions for car dealerships.  Tarek, leuk dat we verbonden zijn, wil je aan onze luisteraars vertellen wie je bent en wat je doet? Leiderschap in productontwikkeling "Ik ben Tarek Kabrit, CEO en medeoprichter van Seez, een techbedrijf in de automotive. Wij ontwikkelen software voor dealerbedrijven. We hebben vier pijlers, waaronder een e-commerce-oplossing, een omnichannel-oplossing waarmee dealers auto's in de showroom kunnen verkopen en de klant naadloos van online naar offline en weer terug kan gaan. Oplossing drie is een AI-oplossing en de vierde is een ChatGPT-oplossing die kan werken als een volledig digitale verkoper. Seez is eigenlijk ontstaan omdat ik ironisch genoeg, niet veel weet van auto's. Ik zat tussen twee banen in en zag een Mini Cooper, een auto die altijd al wilde hebben. Ik had geen idee hoe duur ie was en niemand kon me dat vertellen. Dat bracht me op het idee om een app te ontwikkelen, zoals Shazam voor muziek, waarbij je aan de hand van een foto en die app meer over de auto te weten komt. We besloten om een app te bouwen, dat was het begin van Seez. We begonnen in Dubai, daarna in Denemarken, waar mijn mede-eigenaar woont. We konden daar voor twee grote dealergroepen werken, vandaar dat we daar ook een kantoor hebben. We hebben vier pijlers, de eerste is een soort Shopify voor dealers; het is een software abonnement dat online koopreis overneemt voor registratie, facturatie, ondertekenen van documenten, financiering, enzovoort, het praat met het DMS van de dealer en helpt om het leven van koper en dus ook de verkoper te vergemakkelijken. De tweede pijler is een lead management system met CRM en waar online en offline samenwerken. De derde pijler is AI-gestuurd en gebruiken we om de waarde van de auto te bepalen, om de auto te herkennen en om een aantrekkelijkheidsscore van een auto te kunnen bepalen. Hoe hoger de score, hoe makkelijker de auto verkoopt. We kijken daarbij naar drie datasets. Een gebaseerd op de auto: kleur, interieur, enzovoort. Voor de tweede set kijken we naar hoeveel mensen die auto en vergelijkbare auto's bekijken, maar ook hoe lang ze naar die auto kijken. De derde dataset kopen we in, en heeft betrekking op gebruikte autoadvertenties om te bepalen hoeveel vergelijkbare auto's er online zijn, tegen welke prijs en hoe lang ze te koop staan. Die drie datasets combineren we om de aantrekkelijkheid van de auto vast te stellen. Die scoort helpt de dealer weer om bijvoorbeeld de waarde van een inruiler te bepalen.  De datasets gebruiken we ook voor een klant in België die overweegt om dynamische prijzen te introduceren op vraag en aanbod, precies zoals gebeurt met de prijzen van hotelkamers en vliegtickets. De tweede AI-tool bekijkt het klantgedrag. Wordt de ‘back-knop' gebruikt bij website bezoek, maar ook de volgorde in het bezoekgedrag wordt bekeken en is er aandacht voor vergelijkbare auto's, hoe lang is het sitebezoek, komt de bezoeker terug om bij dezelfde auto te kijken?  Al die gegevens leiden tot een score voor de klant, die vertelt of de klant in de markt is. Die score wordt vervolgens ingezet voor digitale marketing, Zo zet je meer geld in om een klant met een hoge score te overtuigen een auto te kopen, in plaats van geld in te zetten voor iedereen die je website bezoekt. Je besteedt het geld aan mensen die het meest waarschijnlijk een auto kopen. De laatste pijler is ChatGPT, ons nieuwe kindje, een automotive specifieke chatbot. Zie het als 24-uurs klantsupport. Het systeem antwoordt betere dan de meeste mensen, hij maakt geen fouten en werkt als een conciërge op de website. Hij vertelt de klant wat hij moet doen als hij bijvoorbeeld op zoek is naar financiering. Hij geeft ook een persoonlijk service, gebaseerd op de vragen en antwoorden, iets wat niet mogelijk is met de filters op een website. Door ChatGPT in te zetten, kun je zonder buttons en formulieren een proefritafspraak maken. ChatGPT biedt ook gemak. Als je naar een website van een dealer gaat om een auto te zoeken, kost dat veel tijd. Waar vind je reviews over die auto, over het dealerbedrijf, waar vind je het adres van de dealer, hoe doet de auto het ten opzichte van de concurrent? Om al die antwoorden te vinden moet je misschien wel tien verschillende websites bezoeken. Via ChatGPT kun je alle gewenste informatie vergaren vanaf een plek.  De dealer controleert die bot en kan hem, als ie de bot goed traint, zelfs inzetten om zijn eigen mensen te trainen. Meine zwei jungen Freunde aus Bayern in Süddeutschland,Carolina und Simon, hatten noch nieein australisches Fußballspiel gesehen. Deshalb hat meine Freundin Linda sie zueinem Spiel eingeladen. «Das ist ganz wichtig», sagte sie. «Wichtiger alsKängurus.» Linda kommt eigentlich aus Neuseeland, aber sie lebt schon lange inAustralien und sie liebt australischen Fußball. Linda ist ein echter Fan. Sie fährt zu jedem Spiel. Manchmalfliegt sie nach Adelaide oder Sydney, weil sie kein Spiel verpassen will. Ihre Mannschaftist die Geelong-Katzen. Wenn die Katzen verlieren,ist Linda total traurig. Manchmal weintsie ein bisschen. Manchmal weint sie für ein paar Tage. Kein Witz! Wenn ihre Mannschaft gewinnt, ist sie hingegenhocherfreut. In den letzten acht Jahren war sie oft sehr glücklich, dennGeelong ist eine sehr gute Mannschaft, die viele Grand Finals erreicht und drei gewonnen hat. Linda war auch froh, dass Simon und Carolina mitgekommen sind. Vor allem wollte sie sich versichern, dass diese jungen Deutschen für immer Geelong-Fans sein würden. Deshalb hatte sie nicht nur Tickets gekauft, sondern auch ein paar Schals und Mützen für sie gefunden. Simon und Carolina haben sofort wie echte Geelong-Fans ausgesehen. In der Woche vor demSpiel hatte Simon sich über die Regeln im Internet informiert. Er wusste zum Beispiel schon, dass ein Tor sechs “Behinds” gleichgesetzt wird. «Man kanngewinnen», sagte er zu mir, «selbst wenn man weniger Tore schießt, solange man viele Behinds geschossen hat.» Ich war beeindruckt. «Du hast schon viel gelernt», sagteich. «Weißt du», antwortete er, «ich liebe Fußball. Ich bin genauwie Linda. Linda ist echt cool.» «Weinst du denn, wenn deine Mannschaft verliert?» «Normalerweise weine ich nicht», sagte er, «aber wenn meineMannschaft ein so wichtiges Spiel wie das Endspiel der Champions-Leagueverliert, dann weine ich auch, denn das ist genau wie das Grand Final beieuch.» Wir sind mit dem Zug zum Ethiad-Stadium gefahren. Sogar dashat Spaß gemacht. Die Atmosphäre im Stadium war elektrisierend und die Spielerhaben unglaublich fit und sportlich ausgesehen. Natürlich. Simon hat bemerkt,dass die australischen Spieler nicht nur fit, sondern auch sehr gut trainierteOberkörper haben müssen. Ihre Oberkörper sind stärker trainiert als die derFußballspieler in Europa, weil sie den Gegenspieler mit dem Ball angreifen undstoppen müssen. Die Spieler in der Geelong-Mannschaft haben gestreiftedunkelblau-weiße Trikots und dunkelblaue Shorts getragen. «Sehen sie nicht tollaus?», sagte Linda. Linda und Carolina haben sich vor dem Spiel schminkenlassen. Als sie vom Schminken zurückkamen, sahen die beiden ein bisschen wieKatzen aus. Zum Glück hat ein Freund von mir, Barry, neben Carolina gesessen und konnte ihr so alles erklären. Als ein Spieler vor dem Tor stand und seine Socken hochzog, erklärte Barry: «Sie schießen viel besser, wenn sie die Socken hochziehen. Das ist wissenschaftlich bewiesen.» Und so war es dann auch, aber natürlich war das nicht sein Ernst. Barry ist ein witziger Mann mit viel Humor.  Barry hat es lustig gefunden, als Carolina bemerkte: «DieForm des Balles ist  für das Spiel nichtsehr nützlich.» Sie meinte damit, dass die ovale Form es schwierig macht, wennman zum Beispiel läuft und gleichzeitig den Ball prellen muss. Da hat sie dieSchwierigkeiten und die Einmaligkeit von unserem Spiel in einem einzigen Satzzusammengefasst. Simon und Carolina waren sehr begeisterte Fans. Sie sindjedes Mal aufgestanden, wenn die Katzen ein Tor geschossen haben. Linda hatteein bisschen Angst, denn im dritten Viertel waren die Katzen nicht sokonzentriert. Zum Glück waren sie im letzten Viertel viel besser. Insgesamthaben sie aber ziemlich gut gespielt und dann auch das Spiel gewonnen. Mir hat es besonders gefallen, die Reaktionen der zweijungen Deutschen zu beobachten. Sie waren sehr süß und haben sich für allesinteressiert. Simon hat sogar eine neue Definition von «Schadenfreude»erfunden. Dieses Wort ist ein sehr gängiges deutsches Wort. Es bedeutet, man istglücklich oder erfreut, wenn einer anderen Person etwas Unangenehmes passiert.Zum Beispiel, der Klassenbeste bekommt eine schlechte Note und du bisteigentlich ziemlich froh darüber! Du bist glücklich, dass dein Mitschüler etwasSchlechtes erlebt. Das ist nicht so nett, oder? Aber sehr menschlich. Man sagt auch: «Schadenfreude ist die schönste Freude.» Am Fußballspiel hat Simon diesen Begriffweiterentwickelt: «Schadenfreude ist das Gefühl, das man hat, wenn einSpieler von der gegnerischen Mannschaft den Fußball kickt und den Pfostentrifft, statt ein Tor zu schießen.» Während des Spiels ist dies oft passiert.Der Fußball. Die Philosophie. Das Leben. Mit diesemdeutschen Wort «Schadenfreude» kann man so viel beschreiben und so vielerklären. Sogar australischen Fußball. Auf dem Weg nach Hause im Zug waren wir alle glücklich.Simon und Carolina hatten endlich ein australisches Fußballspiel gesehen. Aberdie glücklichste Person war Linda, denn die Katzen hatten das Spiel gewonnenund sie hatte zwei neue Fans für den australischen Fußball und ihre Mannschaftgefunden. Carolina und Simon werden leider bald nach Deutschlandzurückkehren. Aber sie werden für immer Katzen-Fans bleiben.

Oft gehen meine Mutter und ich shoppen. Das ist ganz schön stressig. Für meine Mutter ist Mode nicht besonders wichtig. Normalerweise trägt sie altmodische Kleidung. Oft sagt sie: «Ich folge keinem Trend. Mir ist Mode egal.» Tja, das sieht jeder! Meine Mutter trägt immer alte Pullis, karierte Röcke und altmodische Blusen. Sie liebt große Mäntel und lange Schals. Ihre Jeans sind gar nicht schick. Ich bin ganz anders. Ich surfe im Internet, denn ich finde Mode interessant und ich sehe gern die neuen Trends. Ich mag hautenge Jeans, bauchfreie T-Shirts und kurze Röcke. Ich lese Artikel über die Stars. Am Wochenende trage ich zwar eine Jogginghose, aber auf einer Party möchte ich schick aussehen. Leider habe ich nicht genug Taschengeld, um modische Kleidung zu kaufen. Zweimal nach der Schule arbeite ich in einer Apotheke, aber ich verdiene nicht wirklich viel Geld. Ich brauche meine Mutter. Selbst wenn sie keinen Geschmack hat. Selbst wenn sie nervig ist. Ich brauche ihr Portemonnaie! Das Problem ist, meine Mutter nervt mich total, wenn wir shoppen gehen. Ich brauche ihr Geld, aber ihre Meinung interessiert mich überhaupt nicht. Sie kritisiert alles, was ich mag: «Nein, diese Jogginghose ist nicht aus Baumwolle. Für Polyester zahle ich kein Geld.» Oder: «So eine Bluse darfst du nicht tragen. Die ist durchsichtig.»   Außerdem sagt sie oft etwas Peinliches, wenn wir in einem Laden sind. Gestern waren wir zum Beispiel in Cotton On. Mitten im Geschäft hat meine Mutter laut gesagt: «Keine Ahnung, warum es Cotton On heißt. Hier gibt es nämlich fast keine Baumwolle.» Die Verkäuferin war wirklich cool und hat gelacht. Aber ich habe nicht gelacht. Ich habe mich in der Umkleidekabine versteckt.  Na ja, das mache ich ziemlich oft, wenn ich mit meiner Mutter shoppen gehe. Hier sind ein paar Sätze, die dir durch den Schultag helfen können.   Begrüßung der Lehrer Guten Morgen Herr Müller. Guten Morgen Frau Schmidt. Ich freue mich Sie kennenzulernen. Ich bin der/die australische Austauschschüler(in). Es ist schön hier zu sein. Während des Unterrichts Leider spreche ich nicht so gut Deutsch. Ich habe Sie leider nicht ganz verstanden. Können Sie Ihre Frage bitte noch einmal wiederholen? Können Sie bitte ein bisschen langsamer sprechen? Ich kann diese Frage leider nicht beantworten. Welche Seite sollen wir im Buch aufschlagen? Was sollen wir machen? Kann ich bitte kurz auf die Toilette gehen? Kann ich etwas trinken? Entschuldigung, mir ist nicht so gut, kann ich kurz auf die Toilette gehen? Was bedeutet dieses Wort? Was heißt das? Ich habe meine Schulsachen zu Hause vergessen. Ist das die Hausaufgabe für morgen? Danke für den Unterricht. Ablauf des Schultags  Was haben wir in der ersten / zweiten / dritten Stunde? Wo treffen wir uns in der Pause? Gibt es eine Mensa? Wo treffen wir uns nach der Schule? Wie heißt der Lehrer? Schulalltag in Australien  In Australien haben wir jeden Tag von halb 9 bis 15 Uhr Schule. Wir haben 6 Stunden am Tag und eine einstündige Mittagspause. Wir haben insgesamt vier Terms in einem Schuljahr und dazwischen immer für zwei Wochen Ferien. Wir tragen eine Schuluniform. Wir lernen nicht so viele Fremdsprachen in der Schule. Wir machen sehr viel Sport in der Schule. In Australien gehen alle Schüler auf eine Gesamtschule. Jeder kann das Abitur machen. Über den 1. Schultag berichten  Ich fand den ersten Schultag sehr interessant. Ich habe mir das Schulleben in Deutschland so vorgestellt/ganz anders vorgestellt. Die Lehrer sind sehr nett. Ich habe kein Wort verstanden. Ich freue mich schon auf morgen.

Informationen über Melbourne: Melbourne ist im Süden von Australien. Die Stadt ist bekannt für australischen Fußball (AFL),  das Tennisturnier, das Pferderennen (den Melbourne Cup), und die Vielfalt des kulturellen Angebots. Melbourne hat ungefähr 4 Millionen Einwohner. Ich wohne in Box Hill.
