In today's Spotlight on PILMMA series episode, Raquel Gomes, the founder of Staffi, joins us to discuss how hiring virtual assistants can help law firms support their operations. This episode and the next several will feature PILMMA speakers in our “Spotlight on PILMMA” podcast series. As law firms scale their practices, having the right support staff in place is essential. Now, more than ever, law firms have options when it comes to how to fill these roles. You can opt for a traditional route of having someone in office. You can hire remote workers who still work for your firm directly. You can hire agencies and outsource responsibilities. Or you can hire virtual assistants who are managed by an outside company. In this episode, we discuss: How hiring the right team can give lawyers time freedom What roles can virtual assistants fill The financial benefits of hiring virtual assistants Visit Raquel online here: https://getstafi.com/what-is-stafi/. We'll be at PILMMA Super Summit 2025: https://optimizemyfirm.com/pilmma-2025/. See all episodes or subscribe to the Personal Injury Marketing Minute here: https://optimizemyfirm.com/podcasts/. Transcript: Welcome to the Personal Injury Marketing Minute, where we quickly cover the hot topics in the legal marketing world. I'm your host, Lindsey Busfield. In the age of remote hiring, we are well beyond the need to exclusively have employees in office, or even in the same state. While some roles are helpful to fill on location, you can streamline operations and find substantial savings by filling the positions with virtual assistants. Continuing our Spotlight on PILMA series, Raquel Gomes of STAFI joins us today to discuss her upcoming PILMA presentation, How to Thrive with VAs. Thank you so much for joining us today.   Raquel Gomes Thank you for having me. So, let's start out, tell me a little bit about yourself and about STAFI. All right, so I grew up in the south of Brazil in a very traditional family where my father was an entrepreneur and my mom was fully dedicated to her family. And I heard often that because I was a woman, I had to choose. I couldn't have everything I wanted from life. And my mom, she lived her life like that. And I love and admire her to death, but she's an incredible lady. But that never sat well with me. That really created an inner fire. And I studied psychology actually to challenge those limiting beliefs. And I decided early on that my mission was to help women believe that they can get to live a full life with everything they dream and desire. She We've We've done it. it. well done. While having the time to do the things we love, while being able to be present for our families, while being able to stop working to go get my daughter from school, because that's what I cherish, and, you know, to take on those guilt-free vacations where you can bond with your family and friends, and I feel that time is our most valuable asset, and being able to be present is the most expensive luxury there is, and if you're doing everything yourself for your business, you're killing yourself. That's not a life that I want for me, and it's not a life that I want for any law firm owner out there either. And that's what we do at STAFI. We provide you with the support that your business needs in order for you to be able not only to grow your businesses financially, but also to be able to live the life of your dreams in your own terms. And we do this by providing the best talent there is in Latin America. They're fully bilingual, college-educated, trained, and ready to go. And we also Go one step further and provide you the support to alleviate you from onboarding, training, and managing of that VA because the truth is, anyone can tell you that they can get you good VAs, but then it's on you to onboard them, to train them, to coach them, and to incorporate them into your firm.

Welcome to episode 270 of the Grow Your Law Firm podcast, hosted by Ken Hardison. In this episode, Ken sits down with Raquel Gomes, founder and CEO of Stafi, a virtual staffing company revolutionizing law firm operations.   As a psychologist and seasoned professional with a background in corporate America and technology, Raquel brings a unique perspective to leadership and business growth. She understands the emotional and professional toll of trying to do it all and has dedicated her career to creating solutions that empower others to thrive. Stafi was born from Raquel's personal journey—balancing a demanding career with the responsibilities of motherhood and the desire to lead a fulfilling life. Recognizing a gap in the legal industry, she set out to build a company that would give busy professionals access to the support they need to scale their businesses without sacrificing their well-being. Under Raquel's leadership, Stafi has grown to support hundreds of law firms, connecting them with highly skilled virtual assistants and providing tools and training for long-term success. Her mission is deeply rooted in the belief that no one should have to choose between building a thriving business and living a meaningful life. Through Stafi, Raquel is redefining legal staffing and inspiring law firm owners to lead with confidence, clarity, and heart.   What you'll learn about in this episode:   1. Staffy's Methodology for Offshore Staffing:         - Integrates virtual assistants (VAs) through coaching, training, and management.         - Addresses challenges in finding and managing virtual talent, reducing owner burnout and costs. 2. Thorough Vetting Process:         - Includes background checks and psychological assessments for well-suited virtual assistants.         - Maintains client confidentiality and operational efficiency. 3. Empowerment of Women in Latin America:         - Provides meaningful job opportunities, positively impacting women in the region.         - Demonstrates a commitment to social impact and gender equality. 4. Tailored Call Service for Law Firms:         - Enhances client communication and call handling for law firms.         - Utilizes expertise in sales and telecommunications to improve service quality. 5. Focus on Supporting Law Firms:         - Coaches work with VAs, and business coaches assist law firms in integrating virtual assistants.         - Addresses mental health support and prioritizes helping female law firm owners manage work-life balance.   Resources:  www.stafi.cc Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/GetStafi LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/raquel-gomesstafi/   Additional Resources:    https://www.pilmma.org/aiworkshop https://www.pilmma.org/the-mastermind-effect https://www.pilmma.org/resources https://www.pilmma.org/mastermind

Hey Powerhouses, this week we are discussing the challenges of business ownership, particularly for women, and emphasizing the importance of delegation. Raquel Gomes, founder of Stafi, shares her journey from a demanding corporate career to creating a staffing solution that empowers women in law. The conversation highlights the need for proper hiring practices and the significance of creating a supportive work culture that prioritizes mental health and work-life balance. Raquel and I delve into the challenges women face regarding self-worth, delegation, and self-love. We discuss societal pressures that lead to perfectionism and the difficulty many women have in asking for help. The importance of recognizing one's worth and embracing self-care is emphasized, along with practical exercises to foster self-love. There is a surprising amount of empowerment that comes from delegating tasks and the necessity of setting boundaries to cultivate a fulfilling life! From Workaholic to Wealthy:https://getstafi.com/ebook-from-workaholic-to-wealthy/--Connect with Raquel and Stafi:LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/raquel-gomesstafi/Stafi: https://getstafi.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/raquel_gomes2024?igsh=bnUyaGhrNzIzaTM2--Stay connected with Erin GernerWebsite https://www.eringerner.com/   LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/erin-gerner/Facebook https://www.facebook.com/erin.w.gernerInstagram https://www.instagram.com/eringerner/?hl=en
