In this episode, I address a listener's inquiry about navigating personal relationships with someone facing legal challenges regarding their immigration status. I delve into the implications of commitment and integrity, specifically in the context of immigration laws. By examining the moral responsibilities tied to legal agreements, I highlight how breaches of such commitments can impact trust in relationships. Using relatable analogies, I argue that a strong foundation in any relationship relies on fulfilling promises. I encourage the listener to engage in open conversations with their romantic interest to discern her motivations behind her visa situation. Ultimately, I provide insights on the importance of integrity and open dialogue in fostering healthy relationships amidst complex circumstances.GET MY NEW BOOK 'PEACEFUL PARENTING', THE INTERACTIVE PEACEFUL PARENTING AI, AND AUDIOBOOK!https://peacefulparenting.com/Join the PREMIUM philosophy community on the web for free! Also get the Truth About the French Revolution, multiple interactive multi-lingual philosophy AIs trained on thousands of hours of my material, as well as targeted AIs for Real-Time Relationships, BitCoin, Peaceful Parenting, and Call-Ins. In this final episode of Season 5 of my Style DNA podcast I go on a style journey withPrince's Trust Women for Women Ambassador and transgender fashion designer Serenity Mason. Serenity started her fashion business in 2018 - Vault of Serenity, a stall in Tunstall Market, Stoke, after completing The Prince's Trust Enterprise programme. The programme had offered her practical advice about tax, business planning and pricing her items, as well as the support of a business mentor. I met Serenity at a Prince's Trust fund raising dinner and I was so struck by her and her story that I felt the best way for me to help shine a light on the incredible, life changing (and, at times) even life-saving work that the Prince's Trust is doing was to use my Style DNA platform. It's a fascinating and optimistic conversation and I have to thank Serenity for sharing her story so openly…to be so frank about her gender identity and her struggles. I really hope that this is heard by many and reaches the ears of some who may find it helpful…
"We have to trust women." On the two-year anniversary of Roe v. Wade being struck down, Vice President Kamala Harris posted a message on her X, formerly Twitter, page detailing the repercussions of that decision. "Two years ago today. The highest court in our land, the United States Supreme Court, took a constitutional right that had been recognized from the people of America, from the women of America. And thereafter, in state after state, laws have been proposed and passed that will criminalize healthcare providers -- sometimes prison for life for healthcare providers -- that punish women, that make no exception, even for rape or incest, that are threatening the availability of IVF; that are attempting to threaten the availability of contraception." In the message, the vice president urged Congress to restore the protections under Roe v. Wade. If they do, she says, the president will sign it into law. Learn more about your ad choices. Every time Jesus interacts with a woman in the Gospel narratives, she leaves with her humanity, her dignity affirmed. Every time. So, it makes sense that Christians should actively support the full humanity, dignity, and autonomy of women. This should not be controversial. Supporting abortion rights is not contrary to following Jesus. Supporting abortion rights, at its core, is about trusting people who are pregnant to make decisions for what is happening within their body. It is their body. I used to think it was my job to protect the life that was growing inside other people. That belief was rooted in the idea that I knew what was right for others, for their bodies. I believed that I should have a say. I believed that it was a woman's job to do whatever she had to do in order to protect that life no matter what, even if that meant being forced to do so. I believed I was standing up for the dignity of the unborn, but in doing so, I put myself in the position of undermining and even ignoring the dignity of the woman. I am short-circuiting her autonomy instead of affirming and supporting it. I can no longer do that. Jesus won't let me. There is a famous moment in the Gospel stories when Jesus calls out the religious leaders of his time, saying, "You are placing burdens on people they can never bear!" Jesus was talking to me. He was talking to all of us who believe we know what is right for others, and especially those of us who use laws to place unbearable burdens on others. Want to support our podcast? Episode Overview: In our 25th episode of Girlfriends with(out) Benefits podcast, the girls discuss one of their favorite books they've read as a throuple, “Witch” by Lisa Lister. Her book is so much more than witchy woo, it's a deep-rooted exploration of the generational trauma between women. Simply put, this episode explores why women don't trust each other. Regardless of beliefs, the fundamentals of this phenomenon cannot be ignored. From witchy roots to how it looks in today's society, the energy women spend cutting each other down is an uncomfortable topic to tackle, but what better way than in our safe space of sisterhood.Listen in to learn and connect to the sisterhood. Let's break this crazy cycle together!Links:Witch by Lisa ListerQuotable Moments:“This horrible legacy that was passed down of… having to put one another down so that the patriarchy could rise” - Jade“No one told us to sabotage other women but we have this innate nastiness that is not good. It's funny, when we talk about it and call it out, it feels gross. It doesn't feel good” - Kaylin“It's not this laundry list of outward action, it is an inward motion of “okay, it's time for me to go inside. It's time for me to do the work that I need to do to vibe joy and peace and love' and then that makes the medicine that heals the world. Because when you're vibing in that space, you can't backstab other women” - Jade“Yes, women are the byproduct and the perpetrators. All of this is a woman issue, but if you think about it and you remove yourself for a minute, think about who actually fucking benefits. This week Whitney and McKinsey discuss Untamed by Glennon Doyle. This book is a bit different from anything we have covered thus far; in that it doesn't quite follow a chronological or thematic order. Obviously most of these stories are just things Glennon has learned throughout life, so there are points we agree and disagree with throughout. This week we collaborate with Lorenzo, owner and host of the podcast “Conversations with Zo” to bring you Honestly Zo! Lorenzo opens up about his relationship with his mother, how it has played a role in his past fu*kboy ways, and the importance of mothers uplifting and speaking positivity into their children. Zee also drops a word on the importance of doing the work to heal our inner child to stop toxic cycles of hurting each other. We also discuss if it's important to us for our significant others to have a good relationship with our parents or family overall. Symphony gets candid as she shares how her mother's past behavior has led to her boyfriend distancing himself from her mom and him taking his time to rebuild their relationship. We all know parents can be overbearing, but, should your spouse disregard their boundaries just to appease to your family? Let us know your thoughts. Ladies and gentlemen, are we posting, following, or throwing subliminal messages at our significant others on social media? We have some stories from fake pages to someone sending the opps to slide into the DM
We, like so many others, are outraged by the recent supreme court leaked draft decision regarding Roe v Wade. This is not a debate about pro-choice vs pro-life, it is an attack on women plain and simple. No one should have the right to make your medical decisions without your consent. This attack on our bodies and our rights has been raging for more than a century. Today we are going to highlight four of the many instances of violence and murder in the name of the so called “pro-life” movement.

This episode contains strong language.A month ago, Texas adopted a divisive law which effectively banned abortions in the state. Despite a number of legal challenges, the law has survived and is having an impact across state lines. Trust Women is abortion clinic in Oklahoma just three hours north of Dallas — one of the closest clinics Texas women can go to. On the day the Texas law came into effect, “it was like a light had been flipped,” said one of the workers who staffs the clinic's phone lines. “We had everyone's line lit up for almost eight hours straight.” We visit Trust Women and speak to workers and patients about the real-world impact of the most restrictive abortion law in the country. Sign up here to get The Daily in your inbox each morning. And for an exclusive look at how the biggest stories on our show come together, subscribe to our newsletter. Background reading: The new Texas law prohibits abortions after about six weeks, a very early stage of pregnancy. Many women are now traveling out of state for the procedure. For more information on today's episode, visit nytimes.com/thedaily. Dr. Sophia Yen is the CEO and Co-Founder of Pandia Health, a women physician founded and led birth control delivery company, which has a sterling credentialed Board of Directors of ten physicians — all but one are women! Dr. Yen graduated from MIT, UCSF Medical School, and UC Berkely’s MPH program. She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Stanford Medical School in the Division of Adolescent Medicine and serves on the Executive Committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics’s Section on Adolescent Health. She has co-founded three non-profit projects to improve the lives of women: The Silver Ribbon Campaign to Trust Women, SheHeroes.org, and fffl.com. She is a mother and wife of a feminist. Her goal is to be the first surgeon general to be able to say masturbation without being fired. Dr. Yen joins Dr. Donnica to have a discussion on sexual education for teenagers. There’s a lot of misinformation about sex for teenage girls. Often teen pregnancies happen when girls have sex because they feel like they’ll lose their boyfriend if they don’t. Dr. Yen encourages girls to learn why they want to have sex to empower them to make the best choice for themself. A lot of families are afraid to talk to their kids about sex and periods. This leads to girls missing out on important information on their bodies. There’s so much stigma around your period. So Donnica and Sophia talk about their most embarrassing period stories to get them out in the open! Now, there are options to not have your period safely with different birth control options. Her company, Pandia, allows women to order their birth control from home. This way women are not tethered to going to their pharmacists once a month, every month. Their goal is to make sure no one runs out of birth control.

Organizáciám konzultačne pomáha v 4 oblastiach: organization development, work-place consulting, founders psychology, well-being psychology.

Radically Loved Quotes “I believe it’s all about giving it your best always because even if you fail, you’re always moving forward.” “People are afraid to discuss human trafficking because it’s an ugly truth. Especially in Hollywood, but actress and filmmaker Naomi McDougall Jones is proving them wrong. She reveals to Margaret E Ward how she not only crowdfunded but created an an engaged and loyal audience for her very first film. It's a 'how to' that can be translated to any industry. Naomi also shares her New York backstory, auditioning relentlessly for two years, while not letting the rejection get her down. But most importantly, Naomi reveals the mental gearshift that took her from struggling actress to empowered filmmaker and venture capitalist, while blazing a feminist trail through patriarchal Hollywood. It's another translatable 'how to', no matter your industry. And lastly, she tells Margaret about the mental gymnastics that took place in her own mind right before standing on that revered TED stage to tell the world what it's really like to be a woman in Hollywood. "It's dicey trying to take down the industry you're also trying to be a part of," she says. But Naomi rolled that dice, took the risk and here she tells her story of how it's all paying off. "Trust Women and Repeal the 8th Amendment!" In this week’s Sparking Change With Dil, we are discussing the Repeal of the 8th Amendment: What we know; what we don’t know and (Spoiler Alert!) The 8th Amendment is not just about Abortion! We are joined by some of those at the frontlines of the debate around the 8th amendment, and we discuss the way in which the amendment affects us all, regardless of our ethnic, social or religious background, and most importantly, what the 8th amendment actually is! In our first segment we have, Ailbhe Smyth, who has been at the forefront of social issues as a campaigner for LGBTQ+ rights, and the Repeal movement, to tell us how the movement has changed since the 1970s! Then Lucy Peprah of AIMS Ireland, Claudia Gichuhi of Migrant and Ethnic-minorities for Reproductive Justice (MERJ), Emily Waszak, one of the co-organisers of Strike 4 Repeal, and Jane Xavier of the Au Pair Rights Association will be with us to discuss the pressing issues surrounding maternal healthcare facing migrant women in Ireland, as we reflect on the death of Savita Halapanavar, and Malak Thawley. Finally, we speak to actor and writer Megan O’Malley about her new play ‘Home’, in which a young woman is put on trial when a Tinder date results in an unexpected pregnancy.
