A school district in Pennsylvania must allow students to convene an After School Satan Club, a federal judge ruled on Monday. “In a victory for free speech and religious freedom, a federal court has ruled that the Saucon Valley School District must allow the After School Satan Club to meet in district facilities,” the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) announced. While some districts have mandated that students use clear backpacks, the Flint Community Schools Board of Education took it one step further. In fact, ALL bookbags were ultimately banned. The board's rationale is reportedly rooted in the observation that “backpacks make it easier for students to hide weapons.” It was also noted that transparent bookbags don't satisfactorily address the issue, as “weapons can still easily be hidden.” A text message sent by former Fox News host Tucker Carlson about a video he saw of the violence that broke out during the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol alarmed the network's leaders just days before he was ousted from the cable news giant. The White House refused on Tuesday to say why President Joe Biden has never publicly acknowledged the existence of his seventh grandchild. First son Hunter Biden appeared in court Monday in relation to a paternity hearing concerning his out-of-wedlock 4-year-old daughter, Navy Joan Roberts. In a Monday filing, issued in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and shared by the ACLU, a judge found the school district must allow the After School Satan Club, which is sponsored by The Satanic Temple, to meet during the school year on three previously agreed-upon dates, but it won’t have to distribute permission slips for the club for students to take home, according to the filing.

The club is a project of the Satanic Temple, which despite its name, doesn't worship the Biblical figure — or even believe Satan exists. Virginia elementary school to host 'After School Satan Club' An elementary school in Virginia, later this month, will have a new offering for students called the After School Satan Club. According to a flyer on The Satanic Temple's Facebook page, the After School Satan Club is scheduled to convene in the library at B.M. Williams Primary School in Chesapeake, Virginia on Dec. 15, where students can learn about benevolence and empathy, critical thinking, problem-solving, creative expression, personal sovereignty, and compassion. "The Satanic Temple is a non-theistic religion that views Satan as a literary figure who represents a metaphorical construct of rejecting tyranny and championing the human mind and spirit," the flyer reads. "After School Satan Club does not attempt to convert children to any religious ideology. Instead, the Satanic Temple supports children to think for themselves." A California elementary school will introduce an "After School Satan Club" to its curriculum.Students at Golden Hills Elementary School will soon be able to attend the club, sponsored by the Satanic Temple and Reason Alliance, ABC 33/40 reported. The temple is a non-theistic religious group, not to be confused with the Church of Satan.The group describes its program as "self-directed education" that aims to support "the intellectual and creative interests of students." School is back in session here in GA.  That means thousands of children will be returning from summer vacation, invigorated, enthused, and ready to face the fun and challenges of the school year.  Just as important for many GA students and parents are the after-school activities where social clubs and organizations help to give balance to the often tumultuous school day.  One club that is garnering lots of attention is the “After School Satan Club” sponsored by the Atlanta chapter of the Satanic temple.  Temple members are targeting a local elementary school in Powder Springs, GA as a test school for their after school program.  Their goal is to provide an alternative program for elementary aged students to the often Christian based after school program that many schools offer.  Is there a cause for concern for parents if satanic temple members succeed in establishing an after school program?  What would be the repercussions of a satanically themed after school program within our society?  Should elementary school aged children be given the opportunity to participate in a satanically themed after school program?  Would an after school program such as after school satan prove to be a help or a hindrance to the personal and social development of a child?  What does an after-school satan club mean for parents trying to teach their families the tenets of the Bible?
