Also discussed this week: 1992's cult artifact The Lawnmower Man. This film screened at the Museum of the Moving Image earlier this month, and we not only watched this movie but also it's sequel Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace (alternate subtitle: Jobe's War,) the 1987 Dollar Baby short film adaptation, and the season six episode of Community "Lawnmower Maintenenance and Postnatal Care" that spoofs elements of the 1992 movie. Discussion topics include: Why has Ariana Debose's career since winning an Oscar consisted of a string of disappointing roles in box office bombs? Ieder selecteerde twee films maar vallen A*P*E (1976), The Swarm (1978), Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace (1995) en Killjoy (2000) in de (walgelijke) smaak?
(Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep) يتغلب كيس ومولي على التدخلات القانونية السيبرانية ومحاولة خيانة من ريفيرا لدمج وينترميوت مع نيورومانسر، وينتهي الأمر بكيس يعيش في عالم جديد شجاعأفلام:· Escape from New York (1981)[40][41]· Burst City (1982)[42]· Tron (1982)[43]· Blade Runner (1982)[44]· Brainstorm (1983)[45]· Videodrome (1983)[46]· Repo Man (1984)· The Terminator (1984)· Brazil (1985)· RoboCop (1987)[47]· The Running Man (1987)· Gunhed (1989)[48]· Tetsuo: The Iron Man (1989)· Circuitry Man (1990)[49]· RoboCop 2 (1990)· Hardware (a.k.a. The Spin Chagrin is the latest supplemental podcast of 2 Guys 5 Movies. This concept finds Frank having to watch a movie he's never seen before based on the random spin of a wheel filled with off-the-wall genres. In the inaugural episode of The Spin Chagrin, Frank's category was "A Movie Involving Hacking." The movie he chose to watch, summarize, and review is Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace, starring Matt Frewer of Max Headroom fame.
Billy Idol catches up with Kyle Meredith to detail The Roadside EP. The legendary rocker talks about the eclectic nature of the songs, writing about his 1990 motorcycle accident in the song "Bitter Taste," and reveals that he's already well into the process of finishing the next EP. He also talks about putting the new release out on Dhani Harrison's record label, putting him alongside Joe Strummer, Ravi Shankar, and George Harrison as the only other names on the roster. Idol also takes us back to his 1993 concept album Cyberpunk, how it predicted much of the oncoming technology and bedroom recording process, and the original plans for it to have been the soundtrack to Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace. Well so much for everyone from Lawnmower man except for Austin O'Brien (Peter) For some reason it's in the distant future that's about 4 years away, yes that makes no sense at all at we're only at the start. Hold onto your panties because this is going to be a bumpy confusing ride that really ends up making no sense. Team Obscura (with special guest Jackson) come together to revisit the Lawnmower Man franchise, inspired by the Stephen King story, and find a convoluted and bloated story about cyberspace, virtual reality, and the internet... Oh, and it's a bad knock-off of the Matrix that inspired a pretty great episode of Community? Yeah, sure.
Everybody's being turned into brain-zombies! How can Jake avoid the same fate?
Get jacked in with Ben and Jacob as they watch one of the worst sequels/movies/ideas ever! Then halfway through the movie realize that this is quite possibly the inspiration for and prequel to The Matrix!!! BRILLIANT!!! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/refund-theater/support

It's a science-fiction double-feature as Harry and Rory jack into the virtual reality spectacle of the Lawnmower Man movies for this bumper episode. They discuss the works of Stephen King (and why this is no longer a Stephen King movie) and their experiences of VR and simulators in the early 90s, and then it's on to the first film, featuring brain-training, cyber-sex and a robo-chimp, and its sequel, a cyberpunk dystopia for kids! But which one is best? This podcast contains SPOILERS for The Lawnmower Man (1992) and Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace (1996). Looks like the gang is back in the 90's...at least the future as told by it. Join us as we hack our way into the garbage that is The Lawnmower Man 2.
For the second week in a row we are discussing a movie that graces the bottom 100 of IMDB's worst films. Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace is an incomprehensible mess starring Matt Frewer taking over the role originated by Jeff Fahey. He's a formerly mentally challenged gardener who is now a virtual reality deity, or something like that. This movie makes very little sense and swe spend most of the podcast talking about the future, Stephen King, technology, Virtual Reality, Jim Carrey villains and other stuff. Molly Shannon has one line as a homeless lady in case you were wondering why we picked this film. Enjoy!Download Here

Beyond cyberspace, there are green screens. Depending on who you ask, this movie is either called LAWNMOWER MAN 2: BEYOND CYBERSPACE or LAWNMOWER MAN 2: JOBE'S WAR. We're joined by comedian Melissa Jouben (Warm Things Comedy, Pop-Break.com) and comedian/friend of the show JC Hendricks to pick our favorite title, and to try to get even a tenuous grasp on this deeply perplexing movie. Also in this episode: human jellies, post-coital chicken wings, security guard dirt humiliation. Hosted by Andrew Quinn and Darren Mooney, The Bottom 100 is a subset of the weekly The 250 podcast, a trip through some of the worst movies ever made, as voted for by Internet Movie Database Users. This time, Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace.
Stephen King sued to get his name removed from New Line Cinema's film The Lawnmower Man. Then stars Jeff Fahey and Pierce Brosnan moved on to other projects as well. Even director Brett Leonard had other films to make. So why did New Line insist on making a follow-up to the cyber-sexy horror film? And could there be more on-the-nose casting than Matt Frewer, TV's Max Headroom, to play virtual reality computer god Jobe Smith? Jack in, and listen to Arnie, Jakob, and Stuart's review to find out!
In this epsiode, Andew and I review Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace -- quite possibly the Greatest Movie EVER!
