# Jeden Tag ein Set Podcast 120 # by SILSAN Nur wenig Künstler haben in der Münchner Technoszene in den vergangenen Jahren so für Aufsehen gesorgt wie SILSAN. Energiegeladene Tracks und Sets, die stets gut nach vorne gehen, sind ihr Markenzeichen. Als Resident des Bahnwärter Thiels und bei Garry Klein kann man sie regelmäßig in der bayrischen Landeshauptstadt erleben, doch längst spielt sie inzwischen weit über die Stadtgrenzen hinaus. Im vergangenen Jahr feierte sie ihr Fusion-Debüt und war bei vielen weiteren Festivals wie Bucht der Träumer, Mystic Creatures oder Feel Festival an den Decks. We are in front of an instinctive mind guided by deep emotions that constantly look for ways to create a special space with the crowd, a vortex that linearly drags the listeners creating a strong bond with them, sweeping through all the musical nuances belonging to her sound. Resident Dj of Berlin's notorious queer party Gegen. The beginnings of her musical journey took place in Italy, and her natural progression continued in Berlin where she established herself some years ago. From early on she was part of the Berlin Queer scene, first with the TrashEra collective, and then joining Gegen in 2020. Flavia has held court in many clubs and festivals around Europe and abroad, such as KitKat, Tresor, RSO, Whole Festival, Feel Festival, Reflex, Vitamina Milan, Uebel & Gefährlich, ∄ Kyiv, D-Edge, Vampire House, Egg London, and more. She recently performed at the Love Parade, renamed Rave the Planet, and the Tresor Festival in Berlin. Her dance floor sound serves the mental and hypnotic side of electronic music, well combined with energetic grooves and atmospheric sounds, allowing that perfect adrenaline combination between mind and body. While pursuing her career as a DJ and producer, was drawn to sound design and music composition; in the past two years she has worked for fashion brands, art projects, and short documentaries; her most recent work was featured in July 2022 on Nowness during Pride month. This year sign also the release of her first sample pack in collaboration with the Swiss company Schertler Audio. Through her way of self-expression, Flavia brings a sense of power with a fine touch and the same focus in both pursuits of djing and production builds energy flows between the beat and its Eros. In 2008 his first milestone as a music producer followed: a release on the legendary label Boxer Sport. One year later Ron founded his own imprint Pour La Vie Records. This label also became the home of his first album 'Growth Rings' in 2011. 2013 was the year of Ron's first hit release on the legendary Cologne-based label Traum Schallplatten, 'Mantequilla'. His first EP on the Berlin label Stil Vor Talent followed. In 2018 Ron released his second album 'Muscle Of Synths', again on Pour La Vie Records. Numerous singles and EPs followed on well-known imprints like Einmusika, Katermukke, Hive Audio, Parquet Rec., Motek, Style Records, Definition Records, Beat Boutique or Ritter Butzke Studio. Zur Bestreitung des Alltags benötigen wir permanent seine Unterstützung. Er hilft uns morgens aus dem Bett, wenn die Schule, Uni oder die Arbeit ruft. Er motiviert uns auch tägliche Hygieneroutinen einzuhalten und er fordert ein gepflegtes Erscheinungsbild ein. Es ist ihm wichtig was andere Menschen über uns denken und das ist auch gut so. Darüber hinaus nutzen wir ihn bei Denksport Aufgaben aller Art. Er ist derjenige, der sich die mathematischen Formeln und grammatikalischen Gesetzmäßigkeiten merkt und ab speichert. Der Verstand übernimmt so viele Aufgaben, dass wir manchmal vergessen das er nur ein Werkzeug ist. Denn neben all den positiven Eigenschaften kann der Verstand auch sehr penetrant und anstrengend sein. Besonders wenn wir mit anderen Individuen in Kontakt treten, kann seine beschützende und fürsorgliche Art störend sein. Er will zwar das beste für uns, doch seine Methoden sind oft mangelhaft. Selbstzweifel und Ängste sind eine Möglichkeit mit der uns beschützen möchte. Dann setzt er regelrechte Gedankenstrudel frei, welche durchaus hemmend wirken können. In diesen Momenten gilt es ihm Einhalt zu gebieten. Denn er wird vorrangig auf altbewährte Verhaltensmuster zurückgreifen wollen, Spontanität und Ausbrüche aus der Gewohnheit sind nicht so sein Ding. Hier kommst du ins Spiel. Mache dir bewusst, du bist mehr. Du bist das ewige Sein, welches völlig losgelöst von deinem Verstand funktionieren und agieren kann. Nimm dir das Geschenk des Augenblicks und koste ihn aus. Genieße die pure Freude und Dankbarkeit der Existenz und mache den jetzigen Moment zu deinem Highlight. Wir gehen mal in die Zukunft. Swuuuusch. “2 Jahre später” steht auf einer großen Kinoleihnwand danach ist Marcus Maak aka Vinylizer in klassischer Drei-Punkt-Ausleuchte zu sehen. Er erzählt von seiner persönlichen Reise durch die Bassmusikwelt. Marcus säbelte los: “Es fing vor 30 Jahren an. Ich gründete 1992 die Radiosendung Black is Black.” Die Sendung beschäftigte sich vor allem mit HipHop, dabei machte er seine ersten Erfahrungen als Radiomoderator. Schnell wurde Herr Maak etwas bewusst und ergänzte seinen Satz sofort. “Ich merkte aber, dass mir ein Genre nicht reicht. Es ist mir zu eindimensional.” Daraufhin gründete er BTTB - Back To The Basics, ebenfalls im Jahre 1992. Inhaltlich soll sich die Sendung mit mehreren Genres beschäftigen: HipHop, House und Acid Jazz, aber schon schnell kamen UK-Ravetunes und Jungle hinzu. Er erzählt von seiner persönlichen Reise durch die Bassmusikwelt. Marcus säbelte los: “Es fing vor 30 Jahren an. Ich gründete 1992 die Radiosendung Black is Black.” Die Sendung beschäftigte sich vor allem mit HipHop, dabei machte er seine ersten Erfahrungen als Radiomoderator. Schnell wurde Herr Maak etwas bewusst und ergänzte seinen Satz sofort. “Ich merkte aber, dass mir ein Genre nicht reicht. Es ist mir zu eindimensional.” Daraufhin gründete er BTTB - Back To The Basics, ebenfalls im Jahre 1992. In 2013 the two fellow students Finn Kugelmann and Max Naundorf founded the DJ-Duo Finnster & Maex. Due to the lack of electronic music in Passau and the shared passion to techno, they decided to handle it by themselves. So they began to organize private raves, all over the town. Since they have got a quiet positive feedback, they were offered to become residents in a young and small techno club called „Cute Room“, to close the musical gap in 2014. In 2016 they became officially part of the Villa TuNichtGut artist collective with whom they organized the Schwerelos Openair-Festival. Beside club-gigs they also appeared on several small festival stages within Germany and had also spontaneous gigs at Feel Festival and the Sonne Mond und Sterne Festival. As time went by they had serveral gigs with important characters of the scene, like Marco Bailey, Format:B, Oliver Koletzki, Florian Meindl, Mike Väth, Lützenkirchen, Emanuel Satie, Greencross, Defex, Freiboitar, Alle Farben, Aka Aka, Stefanie Raschke, Sascha Braemer, Paji, Einmusik and many others. Aufgewachsen ist Michi in den wilden 80er Jahren in West-Berlin. Ganz früh war für ihn klar --- Musik ist mein Ding. Beeinflusst von Punk-Rock und US Punk der späten 80er Jahre war ihm schnell klar das Musik-Genre-Grenzen nichts für ihn sind. Seine große Leidenschaft zum Hip-Hop ebnete dann auch den Weg zu den ersten elektronischen Produktionen. Am Anfang mehr ein Party-DJ mit allen Genres die im so unterkamen, so entwickelte sich sein Stil im Laufe der Zeit mehr und mehr hin zum Techno und House. Erlebnisse wie seine erste Fusion Anfang 2000 entführten ihn dann endgültig in die wilde Party-Szene Berlins. Als Teil des Party-Kollektivs Bachstelzen veränderte er die Party-Szene Berlins mit aufwändigen Partys in Off-Locations nachhaltig. Seit 2006 fing er dann an seine eigenen Produktionen äußerst erfolgreich erst auf diversen Net-Labels zu veröffentlichen. Im Jahre 2010 folgte dann das erste Release zusammen mit Sebo und Nayan Soukie auf Sasse’s Label Mood Music. Zusammen mit Sebo und Soukie&Windish gründete er dann 2010 das Label URSL-Records das sich schnell zum Aushängeschild des Berlin-Sounds entwickelte. Durch sein ganz spezielles Gefühl für den Dance-Floor ist Michi weltweit ein gefragter Mann hinter den Decks. Ob USA, Südamerika, Australien oder Afrika Burn … Michi ist da zu finden wo gute Partys entstehen, wie heute z.B. auf dem Feel-Festival ;-) Auch gerade seine Podcasts haben es uns in den letzten Jahren sehr angetan.
