Gian Marchet Schictanz is a professional trail runner from Switzerland sponsored by Brooks. Hannes Namberger ist aktuell wohl der beste Trailläufer im deutschsprachigen Raum. Dabei läuft er eigentlich erst verhältnismäßig kurz wirklich kompetitiv über die Trails. Der ehemalige Slalom und Riesenslalom Fahrer musste 2011 seine erste Profikarriere an den Nagel hängen und fand nach einer dreijährigen Pause vom Leistungs- und Wettkampfsport durch seine Liebe zu den Bergen zum Trailrunning. Selbstverständlich sprechen wir auch über seinen zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme gerade mal ein paar Tage alten Streckenrekord beim Lavaredo Ultra Trail über 120 Kilometer. Hannes nutze am Ende des Rennens seine Chance dem Zweitplatzierten Andreu Simon Aymerich davonzulaufen und sicherte sich so den verdienten Sieg und lief in Rekordzeit von 12:02:12 über die Ziellinie. Wir sprechen in dieser Episode der TrailTypen darüber, wie sich der ehemalige und sehr Kraft betonte Skifahrer zum schnellen, technisch versierten Spitzentrailläufer entwickelte und wo Hannes noch hin möchte. Hannes Namberger ist der bester deutsche Trailläufer und hat gerade in Rekordzeit den Lavaredo Ultratrail, den wichtigsten Ultratrail Italiens gewonnen. Seine Leistung erreichte in der Wertung der International Trailrunning Association die höchste Wertung, die jemals ein deutscher Läufer erzielt hat. Hannes arbeitet hauptberuflich und Vollzeit als Bundespolizist und will Ende August den Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc in Chamonix Laufen.
