On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show, the central AI debate is between freedom and government, and between knowledge and idiocy. These politicians, bureaucrats, and regulators think they know more than inventors, creators, and innovators, and are trying to make people fearful of technological advancement. We need to remember the politicians who oppose this progress; they're populists, nationalists, Marxists, and socialists who seek greater control while presenting their actions as protecting "the people." Government control of AI would be a power grab and would benefit Democrat political interests and favored groups, while also helping Communist China. Government and politicians need to keep their hands off and allow advancement to move forward. Also, Arkansas Senate candidate Hallie Shoffner says she would trade five Americans for one ‘undocumented immigrant.' Hardworking Americans pay taxes and contribute significantly to the country. Schaffner is ineffective and out of touch. Meanwhile, Texas Senate candidate James Talarico's pastor says that Talarico will return to his previous radical views after being elected. He is changing his message solely to gain political power. Later, gas prices are high but voters should not be discouraged from supporting Republicans in the midterm election. Electing Democrats by staying home on Election day will not lower gas prices. Democrats support policies that would raise costs, increase taxes, expand government power, and advance a radical agenda. Republican victories are necessary to maintain control of the House and Senate and prevent investigations, impeachments, and Democratic control of government. Low voter turnout could lead to the destruction of the economy and our republic. Afterward, Deuteronomy was the most widely read and cited book during the Revolutionary period, appearing more frequently in speeches, writings, and official documents than any other source. Figures such as Madison, Washington, Adams, and Jefferson repeatedly referenced the Hebrew Bible, not to promote Judaism, but because they saw parallels between ancient events and their own circumstances. Ideas from the Hebrew Bible helped shape arguments about natural law, natural rights, and the Creator, while also overlapping with Enlightenment thought, particularly that of John Locke, although Deuteronomy was cited even more frequently. The RINOs are trying to stage an uprising. Karl Rove (R-Ino.) made a statement that he is going to be voting Democrat, as opposed to voting for railroad commissioner candidate Bo French(R-Texas), who he called “bigoted” for his UT Austin post. Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas) amplified Rove's message and hinted toward voting Democrat as well. Meanwhile, RINO Rep. Maria Salazar (R-Fla.) made a campaign ad calling out Trump and advocating for giving illegal aliens amnesty. These people just need to become Democrats already. There is never an end to the scams coming from immigrants who overstay their welcome. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce fell victim to a $35 million Indian Ponzi scheme. Sidharth Jawahar, an illegal alien from India, took millions from high-end clients. He spent his money on all kinds of luxury but is now serving 11 years in prison. So even cancer is political now, according to Democrats. We can't even all agree that cancer is awful. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed (D-Mich.) wrote an essay that breast cancer is a disease that affects people with “social power and privilege.” He finds the funding for this cancer research “disturbing” and denounced the pink ribbon lobby. And he's still trying his hardest to shy away from his equally insane bestie, Hasan Piker. Muslim Commie Mayor Mamdani is solving all kinds of problems that no one knew existed and nobody asked for. He is spending $4 million for public toilets. Today's Headlines: The EU is floating the idea of Canada becoming its first-ever associate member in response to Trump's trade war — which would be a historic geopolitical realignment — and separately proposed banning children under 13 from social media entirely across member states, with 13-15 year olds getting supervised mini accounts with one hour daily limits, Europe is actually doing the things we keep talking about doing. Back in the states, the Fed raised interest rates by a quarter point for the first time since 2023. As usual, markets fell, and Trump responded by demanding rates drop to 1% or less because "our country is booming," which is one way to describe $6 diesel and a $38 billion war. Congress had an unusually productive day: the House passed expanded Russia sanctions, voted to hold Leon Black in contempt for suing the committee that subpoenaed him rather than testifying about his Epstein ties, and the Senate blocked the crypto industry's self-written Clarity Act 50-49 — six votes short of passing — given the president's own ability to profit from crypto made it a tough sell even for some Republicans. Mitch McConnell returned for day two and nearly voted the wrong way on the farm bill before aides redirected him, which is either reassuring or alarming depending on how you look at it, but the bill passed and that's something. And Trump campaigned in North Carolina for Republican senate candidate Michael Whatley and told the crowd he would withhold FEMA disaster funding if Whatley loses, which is textbook extortion. The episode features Steven Camarota, Director of Research, discussing two studies released by the Center examining how immigration affects the distribution of political power.Under the current system, House seats and Electoral College votes are apportioned among the states based on total population.
