Mark Gober, joins Josh Trent on the Wellness + Wisdom Podcast, episode 716, to uncover why our minds are more than just physical organs, how unseen forces shape our everyday experiences, and what it really means to live in alignment with our soul's purpose. "All reality is consciousness which means there's one source of everything, there's one cause of everything. That means that all thinking comes from the oneness of consciousness. You exist as an individual and you don't at the same time." - Mark Gober

He advocates for a transformative, consciousness-centered view of the cosmos and encourages us to rethink Earth's place in the vast universe. Tune in for an eye-opening conversation that defies conventional science and explores the metaphysical dimensions of existence. Within academia there's an insider saying about the 3-tiered letters of achievement ladder in recognition of one's degree of intellectual prowess.  It goes something like this, BS = Bullsh@t, MS = More Sh#t and PhD = Piled high & Deep.  A humorous rendition for sure, but, unfortunately, spot on! Many of us who suffered the hallowed halls of higher education soon-after developed acute 'buyers remorse'.  Fortunately, the veils of deception grow thinner daily revealing that all that we were taught was up-side down.  Our special guest for this episode, Mark Goble, is here to lend his perspective on whether we should "just trust the science". Previous BatGap interview with Mark Doug Scott, LCSW, works as a mental health counselor in his private practice in Dallas, Texas.  After graduating from college in 1997, he served as an international volunteer for two years in Bluefields, Nicaragua. This intense experience changed his life and he returned to the US to pursue graduate studies in clinical social work and pastoral ministry at Boston College. The nexus of spirituality and psychology have always intrigued Doug since childhood and he brings this sensibility to his counseling practice. Doug grew up Catholic and was always drawn to the mystical lineage within this belief system.  He had experiences with Jesus, Mary, and angels at an early age. He was also secretly attracted to all things paranormal and would spend many hours reading topics such as reincarnation, ufology, OBE's, NDE's, ghosts, ESP, pyramids, and other areas. One evening in 2013, he felt a presence that invited him to listen to a Buddhist chant, which came as a surprise since, at that time, he had not explored other faith systems. He was guided to listen to Om Mani Padme Hum and as the chant unfolded, Doug saw a golden dew overshadow him and activate him in a way that was new.  This marked the next chapter in Doug's life. A few months later, Doug was led to the Law of One material and immediately saw that it provided the clearest, most undistorted, exploration of the Perennial Philosophy that he'd ever come across. It also cast a wide net to include all of the paranormal things that intrigued him and made it possible for him to put all of the different threads in his life together in one seamless garment. Since 2015, Doug has written a blog (cosmicchrist.net) that explores the synthesis of the Law of One material with mystical Christianity and psychology.  He sees his vocation in this lifetime as a bridge-builder between conventional concepts and cosmic metaphysics to help people who seek clarity, normalization, and validation for their own journeys. In this episode, Courtenay welcomes Mark Gober back to the show to discuss his newest book An End to the Upside Down Reset: The Leftist Vision for Society Under the “Great Reset”-- and How It Can Fool Caring People into Supporting Harmful Causes. Mark's work covers the six categories of The Great Reset: culture, politics, economics, the environment, technology, and metaphysics. He does a thorough analysis and brings forth the facts on the psychology behind leftists ideology. Unfortunately, in most cases, these ideologies are sourced from dark metaphysical forces played through the compassion card which generates an undercurrent of harm most aren't privy to. Bringing light to these topics is the gateway to breaking accepted programming and restoring curiosity. Mark Gober is the author of An End to Upside Down Thinking, which was awarded the IPPY award for best science book of 2019. This week the books are 'Changed in a Flash: One Woman's Near-Death Experience and Why a Scholar Thinks It Empowers Us All' by Elizabeth Krohn and Jeffrey Kripal and 'An End to Upside Down Contact: UFOs, Aliens, and Spirits—and Why Their Ongoing Interaction with Human Civilization Matters' By Mark Gober.Mark GoberAre we alone? The answer, according to Mark Gober's An End to Upside Down Contact, is a resounding NO. Humans exist among a variety of advanced species, sometimes identified as aliens, spirits, beings of light, and beyond. In fact, our civilization seems to be regularly influenced by such nonhuman intelligences, even if we're not always aware of it. Near-death experiences and other phenomena of consciousness reveal that some species exist in other dimensions that our eyes cannot ordinarily see. Similarly, UFOs and alien abductions—which were examined by the former head of psychiatry at Harvard—provide additional evidence that we are not alone. As strange as it might sound, none of this is new: contact with nonhuman intelligence is likely a part of humanity's ancient history. This isn't just some “fringe” phenomenon, either. We seem to exist within a multispecies, multidimensional battle between Good and Evil, and our future as a civilization is at stake. Buckle up for a wild—and paradigm-shifting—ride.BioMark Gober is the author of "An End to Upside Down Thinking" (2018), which was awarded the IPPY award for best science book of 2019. When Elizabeth Greenfield Krohn got out of her car with her two young sons in the parking lot of her synagogue on a late afternoon in September 1988, she couldn't have anticipated she would within seconds be struck by lightning and have a near-death experience. She felt herself transported to a garden and engaging in a revelatory conversation with a spiritual being. When she recovered, her most fundamental understandings of what the world is and how it works had been completely transformed. She was “changed in a flash,” suddenly able to interact with those who had died and have prescient dreams predicting news events. She came to believe that some early traumatic and abusive experiences had played a part in preparing her for this experience. Told in matter-of-fact language, the first half of this book is the story of Krohn's journey, and the second is an interpretation and analysis by respected professor of religion Jeffrey J. Kripal. He places Krohn's experience in the context of religious traditions and proposes the groundbreaking idea that we are shaping our own experiences in the future by how we engage with near-death experiences in the present. Changed in a Flash is not about proving a story, but about carving out space for serious discussion of this phenomenon.https://www.amazon.com/Changed-Flash-Near-Death-Experience-Empowers-ebook/dp/B079D8T8BY/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1657890862&sr=1-1https://www.pastliveshypnosis.co.uk/https://www.patreon.com/alienufopodcasthttps://www.patreon.com/pastlivespodcast

This week I am talking to Mark gober about his book 'An End to Upside Down Contact: UFOs, Aliens, and Spirits—and Why Their Ongoing Interaction with Human Civilization Matters'.Are we alone? He is also the author of "An End to Upside Down Living" (2020), "An End to Upside Down Liberty" (2021), and "An End to Upside Down Contact" (2022); and he is the host of the podcast "Where Is My Mind?" In stark contrast to his prior belief system, Gober explains why life is actually full of meaning. From this perspective, he lays out how we might approach life accordingly, along with the well-traveled "awakening" path that we're likely to encounter. At this pivotal juncture in human history, approaching life in a new way is the antidote that our civilization desperately needs. Mark Gober is the author of the award-winning book An End to Upside Down Thinking (2018) and the sequel An End to Upside Down Living (2020). He is also the host of Where Is My Mind? podcast (2019), featuring his interviews with world-leading consciousness researchers Eben Alexander, Dean Radin, Rupert Sheldrake, Russell Targ, Raymond Moody, Jim Tucker, Nobel Prize-winning physicist Brian Josephson, and many others. Mark serves on the Board of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) and the School of Wholeness and Enlightenment (SoWE), and he is an international speaker. Mark's background is in business as a Partner at Sherpa Technology Group in Silicon Valley and previously as an investment banking analyst in New York. As this podcast goes to air, we are in the energies of a dark of the moon with a new moon in Leo coming in next week. It's definitely a time to let go of old ways and dig deep and open up to you, your Spirit… your guidance. It's a time to take responsibility for your energy! Your frequency... your thoughts! The cosmos and mother Earth are showing us this, through all this exhaling and breathing she has been doing. There have been noticeable shifts, like storms in the Northeast, earthquakes in North Carolina, comets appearing in the sky and so many planets visible in the sky, all affecting your energy and your way of living. Change your thoughts… shift your energy. Practice this… daily and, as I've said before, hourly if necessary. Your energy is the only thing you can control right now!  All of this I talk about on the Energy Focus of the week, which you can find live on Sunday nights on Facebook or Instagram. Having the tools and techniques to rest, to pause and reset your energy is so vital. My private clients say they are noticing the ways in which they are so much better at handling their energy. They aren't taking on other people's stuff, nor letting unwanted thoughts and self talk stick around for too long. Many are reporting they are so much more content in their lives and never would have thought this work would have led them here. In today's episode, we have back on the show, Mark Gober. We last talked to Mark when his first book came out, An End to Upside Down Thinking.  And now with his latest book, An End to Upside Down Living, we continue this conversation. We talk about intentions for life as a compass, consciousness, conscious thinking and living, how the brain is only a vehicle and actually limits what we perceive, the concept of One Mind and Mark offers us a new model of thinking and living. Mark Gober is the author of the award-winning book An End to Upside Down Thinking (2018) and the sequel An End to Upside Down Living (2020). This week I talking to Mark Gober about his book 'An End To Upside Down Thinking' and his podcast 'Where Is My Mind?'. Mark Gober is a best-selling author and international speaker, a Partner at Sherpa Technology Group in Silicon Valley, a former New York investment banker, and a magna cum laude graduate from Princeton where he was the tennis team captain. In late 2016, his worldview was turned upside down when he was exposed to word-changing science. His best-selling book 'An End To Upside Down Thinking: Dispelling the Myth That the Brain Produces Consciousness, and the Implications for Everyday Life' summarizes an important body of research for mainstream readers. Accolades for this book range from Nobel Peace Prize nominee Dr. Ervin Laszlo, to former Harvard neurosurgeon Dr. Eben Alexander, to actress Goldie Hawn, and beyond. Mark is also the host of the new hit podcast Where Is My Mind?, and he sits on the Board of Directors of the world's leading consciousness research organizations, The Institute of Noetic Sciences. Mark has been all over the media to discuss these ideas, appearing on Coast to Coast AM, The Model Health Show with Shawn Stevenson, the nationally televised PBS show Between the Lines, and much more. The ideas Mark discusses touch on core questions about who and what we are as human beings, which ultimately impacts how we act in the world – whether it be in the workplace or in relationships. The comforting worldview implied by Mark's findings, combined with his articulate and engaging speaking style, will enable improved decision-marking, enhanced performance, and a greater sense of empowerment that is sure to transform lives. 'An End To Upside Down Thinking: Dispelling the Myth That the Brain Produces Consciousness, and the Implications for Everyday Life' Consciousness creates all material reality. Biological processes do not create consciousness. This conceptual breakthrough turns traditional scientific thinking upside down. In An End to Upside Down Thinking, Mark Gober traces his journey – he explores compelling scientific evidence from a diverse set of disciplines, ranging from psychic phenomena, to near-death experiences, to quantum physics. With cutting-edge thinkers like two-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee Dr. Ervin Laszlo, Chief Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences Dr. Dean Radin, and New York Times bestselling author Larry Dossey, MD supporting this thesis, this book will rock the scientific community and mainstream generalists interested in understanding the true nature of reality. Today's disarray around the globe can be linked, at its core, to a fundamental misunderstanding of our reality. This book aims to shift our collective outlook, reshaping our view of human potential and how we treat one another. The book's implications encourage much-needed revisions in science, technology, and medicine. General readers will find comfort in the implied worldview, which will impact their happiness and everyday decisions related to business, health and politics. Mainstream scientific thinking says that we are conscious because of our brains. In other words our brain creates our conscious experience. But did you know that science has no idea how a brain could produce a mind? An End to Upside Down Thinking argues that consciousness doesn’t come from the brain at all. Rather consciousness is more fundamental than physical matter. Implications are that we all have psychic abilities, that consciousness doesn’t die when the body dies, and that we are all connected.Mark Gober is an author whose worldview was turned upside down in late 2016 when he was exposed to world-changing science. In this episode, Paul interviews author of An End to Upside Down Thinking and senior member of the Sherpa Technology Group, Mark Gober. They discuss the upside-down thinking method approach that people have when making decisions and show you how to overcome it. Paul and Mark go on to discuss the human consciousness and how it impacts on our body and mind.   KEY TAKEAWAYS  The upside-down thinking. Consciousness is there and then it manifests itself in a physical form known as Paul or known as Mark, and that physical body one day will die but the consciousness lives on. The conventional view of science today and much of just mainstream thinking has a fancy term associated with it. It's called materialism. So materialism basically means the following chain of events. It says that the universe started about 14.8 billion years ago with an event that Kick-started everything. Sometimes that's called the Big Bang, and the Big Bang filled the universe with particles of matter. And when I say matter, I mean like atoms. So my table, I can touch my tables, physical, it's made of atoms. So we have this physical universe and when you have a big enough universe with enough matter, you're bound to end up with interactions between those pieces of matter and we call that chemistry when matters interacting, and in this big universe, when you have enough random chemical reactions, we are bound to end up with a molecule that can replicate itself, that like DNA on Earth. So DNA on earth leads to the evolution of living species like a human being, which evolves to develop the brain and from the brain comes consciousness. When I say consciousness, I mean our subjective inner experience. So if I say that I am speaking to you, that “I” that's what I mean by consciousness. And what materialism says is that that sense of identity, that awareness that we have that is subjective, it derives from matter, or more specifically, it comes from the brain. That is the conventional view known as materialism, and that is what my book is regarding is upside down thinking by recontextualizing where consciousness fits in the picture. So what I'm arguing in my book and that's what all the different pieces of evidence that I show point towards are the idea that consciousness doesn't come at the very end of that chain, but rather consciousness is first, consciousness is primarily existing as a more fundamental aspect of the universe, even physical matter and it exists beyond all space and time.   Confidence. If you ever want to do something in your life and live a healthy life, you should always be confident in what you are doing or want to do. Do not fear of what other people say, do what you enjoy doing.   Surround yourself with friends and family that cares about you. For you to enjoy life and live a life which is healthy, be around people who love you and care about your well being and always advise you on the best way to do something.   Consciousness isn't tied to the body. This means that consciousness does not die even if the body dies.   Impacts of consciousness not being tied to the body. This has a positive and negative impact since if you die and you were a bad person, you may come back to life being like the person you used to hurt more when you were alive and experience the pain you caused that person when you were alive. You could also be at near death and you may go to someone you cause pain and experience that and when you are back to yourself and you survive death, you might change forever.   The threat of conversation is that the more questions that you ask, the more there is to ask.  The power of our minds is much greater than we have been taught. We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience.  We are connected as part of the stream of consciousness and therefore, even though we have the appearance of separation, because that's what our eyes show us, and we interpret the world based on what we see, we see separation, if there isn't the same separation that we see, if in fact, at the level of consciousness, underlying physical reality, if that's interconnected or entangled, to use the term from quantum physics then the way we treat others, and we the way we think of ourselves as human beings, I think has to shift. I think we then have to view ourselves as being part of the same hole and therefore being much less separate than we appear to be.  What are the implications for science, medicine, artificial intelligence, and Elon Musk neural link start-up? For science and medicine generally, the implications are massive, because the conventional view in science and medicine is that consciousness again, comes from the brain, even though scientists can't currently explain how it happens. Science magazine has even called this the number two question that remains in all science. So it's an open secret that consciousness is still a mystery and of course, what I am arguing is that all consciousness doesn't come from the brain at all. So if we if we contextualize consciousness as being the basis of reality, then effectively all of our equations in science and the way we think about medicine and healing has to shift necessarily in a big way because something has been left out.  BEST MOMENTS  “If consciousness isn't just a product of the brain and if it survives the death of the physical body beyond space and time, then how does it fit in with our picture of the universe.”  “Ever wonder why you are thinking of someone, moments later they call or connect to you? Magic? Coincidence? Maybe not.”  “General readers will find comfort in the implied worldview, which will impact their happiness and everyday decisions related to business, health and politics.”  “Consciousness isn't tied to the body.”  “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience.”  “In truth, there is only one mind.”  “We are our mind, our mind tells us to do something, and we do it.”  “Our body is actually an experience of our consciousness.”  VALUABLE RESOURCES  www.MarkGober.com    ABOUT THE GUEST   Mark Gober is an author whose worldview was turned upside down in late 2016 when he was exposed to world-changing science. So if that's true, I think I still take things seriously, but there is this fall back of understanding. There's a much bigger picture going on beyond whatever small problems I have on a daily basis. So I think it's really helped me rethink things that might have stressed me out or caused anxiety. Thoughts on Breathing I'm much more open now to the effects of breathing, especially after seeing things like holotropic breath work, which is basically a way of inducing a psychedelic state. I haven't experienced it, but it's often talked about. Also, the Wim Hoff method (www.WimHofMethod.com), that's something where, I think, everyone who does it experiences an altered state of consciousness by over-oxygenating the brain, effectively. You breath heavily in and then you let the breath go, so you end up netting in more oxygen than you're letting out. And when you do that for a long time and then hold your breath, like he suggests, it's almost like a state of euphoria just from breathing. An End to Upside Down Thinking This Thursday, on The Conscious Consultant Hour, Sam welcomes author Mark Gober. Mark is an author, a Partner at Sherpa Technology Group in Silicon Valley, a former investment banker with UBS in New York, and former captain of the Princeton tennis team. His worldview was turned upside down in late 2016 when he was exposed to world-changing science which suggested that, contrary to mainstream assumptions, consciousness is not produced by the brain. After researching extensively, he wrote An End to Upside Down Thinking to introduce the general public to these cutting-edge ideas — all in an effort to encourage a much-needed global shift in scientific and existential thinking. Mark's bestselling book has been endorsed by leading thinkers such as former Harvard neurosurgeon Dr. Eben Alexander, Nobel Peace Prize nominee Dr. Ervin Laszlo, actress Goldie Hawn, and many others. Segment 1 Sam begins his show with some interesting and uplifting quotes of the day from the universe and Abraham. He dives in deeper to Abraham's quote as it relates to our ancestors and how far down family history can go in time. He then introduces Mark Gober an author, former investment banker, and partner at Sherpa Technology Group. Mark tells Sam about how his worldview changed when he was exposed to world-changing science and found that consciousness is not produced by the brain. Segment 2 After researching more about consciousness, Mark decides to write his book An End to Upside Down Thinking. He talks to Sam about the time he decided to make his research public. Mark says that it took him a long time to process all the information, but when he finally had all the data to back up these new claims, it became harder for him to ignore this new worldview. Plus, what he means by the term “upside down thinking,” where he believes consciousness comes now after his research, and then Mark provides some of the evidence of consciousness not originating from the brain. Segment 3 Sam and Mark continue their conversation about some of the new evidence about consciousness. This includes remote viewing, telepathy, psychokinesis, and precognition. Sam then talks about an experiment that is largely related to the research done by Mark. Also, Mark answers a question about true self when it comes to consciousness. Segment 4 To end the show, the guys talk about near death experiences and how our bodies don't have to be functioning in order to be able to report about everything that happened, even though there aren't many cases shown. Also, a brief word on mediumship and how children are able to have memories and some physical appearances of a past life, and people communicating to the dead. There are many people who simply want to see the science of consciousness, near death experiences and other paranormal activity before they will ever feel it is real.  Maybe you would love to see the science too because there is a great deal of it and it is fascinating. Special Guest Mark Gober Mark Gober is an author whose worldview was turned upside down. In late 2016 he learned of phenomena that threaten the prevailing view in science that consciousness comes from the brain. After researching extensively for nearly a year, he became convinced that a paradigm shift was in order. Biology does not produce consciousness; rather, consciousness produces biology. Mark is a Partner at Sherpa Technology Group, a firm that advises businesses on mergers & acquisitions and strategy. He previously worked as an investment banking analyst in New York. Mark has been quoted for his opinions on business and technology matters in Bloomberg, Businessweek, and elsewhere. He has authored internationally published business articles. He graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University, where he was captain of the tennis team. “I had a very bleak outlook on life, I was very nihilistic and thought life had no meaning, but that was actually rational given what I thought about the universe.  What I subscribed to, I now know, is something called materialism. The worldview of materialism is the mainstream view in science today.  It is teaching that we are finite beings, and life really doesn't have meaning. I now think that life definitely does have meaning by the sheer fact that I now think consciousness does not come from the brain, but that consciousness is the basis for reality.”– Mark Gober FIND OUT ABOUT THE SOUL FREQUENCY LOVE LIST 2018... Whether you realize it or not, most of modern society's thinking is based upon a philosophy known as “materialism”—the notion that physical material, known as “matter,” is fundamental in the universe. In other words, it's the basis of all reality. Everything is comprised of matter, and everything can be reduced to matter. Today's special guest, Princeton magna cum laude grad Mark Gober's book, An End to Upside Down Thinking:Dispelling the Myth That the Brain Produces Consciousness, and the Implications for Everyday Lifemarshals the clear evidence and makes the case that consciousness is the force that precedes matter—and upends the scientific and popular belief that the brain (matter) creates consciousness. Science dismisses any evidence to its contrary position—a position it can't prove—relegating the “matter-produces-consciousness” argument to nothing more than unfounded belief and faith—just another a form of religion, Gober argues. Gober has built a nearly unassailable case. Most of all he calls for more research to get to the truth of our consciousness-driven existence unbiased by traditional scientific skepticism. Mark Gober's worldview was turned upside down in late 2016 when he was exposed to world-changing science. After researching extensively, he now introduces the general public to these cutting-edge ideas in an effort to encourage a much-needed global shift in scientific and existential thinking. Mark is a senior member of Sherpa Technology Group. He previously worked as an investment banking analyst in New York. Mark has been quoted for his opinions on business and technology matters in Bloomberg Businessweek and elsewhere, and he has authored internationally published business articles.

Mark Gober is an author whose worldview was turned upside down in late 2016 when he was exposed to world-changing science. Consciousness creates all material reality. LINK:   With cutting-edge thinkers like two-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee Dr.
