No, no, no. It's going to create circumstances that make you so uncomfortable, that motivates you to make the change. Lesley Logan 0:11 Welcome to the Be It Till You See It podcast where we talk about taking messy action, knowing that perfect is boring. I'm Lesley Logan, Pilates instructor and fitness business coach. I've trained thousands of people around the world and the number one thing I see stopping people from achieving anything is self-doubt. My friends, action brings clarity and it's the antidote to fear. Each week, my guest will bring bold, executable, intrinsic and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and Be It Till You See It. It's a practice, not a perfect. Let's get started. Lesley Logan 0:54 All right, Be It babe. We have a very packed episode. I'm just going to say it. I've been wanting to do this with these two ladies for a really long time I listen to their podcast every Monday. We have Mom, Me, And Astrology. We have the hosts of that, Kate and Mary Swick. Ladies, thank you so much for being here. I'm gonna let you guys kick us off, because we have a lot to talk about, about astrology and 2025. 2024 was a lot. So I'm hoping you have good news for all of us.Kate Swick 1:19 Absolutely. Well, we're excited to talk about 2025 I know whenever we start closing up the previous year, we start putting a lot of hopes and wishes and dreams into what the next year can hold. And so today we're going to talk about two major planetary moves that we're going to see next year. And we thought it was so fitting, because I'm an Aquarius and my mom is a Scorpio, and so we're both of our ruling planets, mine being Uranus and hers being Pluto are two of the planets that are changing signs. And so we thought, let's talk about how you're going to be inventive next year and where you're going to grow. Lesley Logan 1:54 Oh my gosh. Mary Swick 1:55 She's right. A lot of that is being truthful, being truthful. And we've had a great headline in our news, just here in the last six months, where a president went out of the trajectory he could have run, he chose not to, or forced whatever the story was, makes no difference. That is the story for 2025. (inaudible) hear it. You're going to be more truthful, and, as Kate said, inventive, and you're going to go out of your trajectory. Now, that's exciting. Lesley Logan 2:27 Yeah, oh my gosh. You guys, we have two, you just heard two voices. We have Kate and we have Mary. Mary's been doing this for 50 years? How long you've been doing this (inaudible)? Mary Swick 2:37 Oh, come on. Don't age me that much. You know what, if I would go back, it's been over 35 years. Lesley Logan 2:43 Okay, okay. And Kate was, like, born into it, and so the two of you have seen a lot, not every single different transition, but a lot of these transitions. So I feel like we're in the best of hands. So why don't you guys kick us off now that we've thought about her about being inventive and truthful in 2025. Kate Swick 3:02 Yeah. So I think that's an interesting point that you made about because we've been doing it for so long. I mean, obviously, mom a little longer, but I have been around the language the two that we're talking about for next year. We, actually, none of us, have lived through it. That's how big of a deal this is. So this is not something like Mercury Retrograde that happens two to three times a year, where you can take your age and times it by three. That's how many times you've been through it. The last time that we saw Pluto and Aquarius was 1777 right? So none of us wereMary Swick 3:31 (inaudible) famous or famous year. Kate Swick 3:34 Yes. So none of us have lived through that. And same as we talk about Uranus, that one does happen a little bit more often about 88 years ago. So there's a small, small population that has gone through that one.Lesley Logan 3:46 I know. But also, one of the things that you guys are so great at is when it's something that's happened in your life before, it's like, well, how did it go for you? Right? And when, if we do have any 88 year olds listening, thank you so much. But also they probably don't remember the year they were born. So, you know, like, right? So I feel like even if you have lived through it, you might not remember how it went for you. Kate Swick 4:06 Very true. You would have been so young. You would have been so young. But we have seen Pluto move signs. So for most of us, we can relate to the disruption that 2008 2009 brought in that we're seeing Pluto change signs again. And although we're talking about Pluto from a 2025 standpoint, we've been feeling it already all of 2023 and 2024 so you might think, well, why are we still talking about this? Mary Swick 4:33 Really. Kate Swick 4:33 You know, but it just, it's slowly, it's got to zero degrees, then it retrogrades back, and then it gets to one degree, and then it retrogrades back. So we have not we've been tested. We've been preparing for it, and we get more confident with it as we it's just like a bike those first couple years of it was like, what the heck is this? And we're hoping that as everyone goes into 2025 you confidently get on that bike and to take the growth and the change or the truth that needs to be seen and done.Lesley Logan 5:04 I love that. Mary Swick 5:05 So should we jump into the signs? Kate, are we ready? Lesley Logan 5:08 Yeah, I'm ready. Mary Swick 5:10 So let's kick it off with Aries. Okay, and I would say Aries have to be embarrassingly honest. Where do they belong? I don't belong in this group. It really isn't me. I've been faking it. I need to go into this group so we could be talking professionally, we could be talking personally, we could even be talking family. It's the team, it's the club, it's the people that you circle around. You've been getting hints about this, but now is real. It's time to step out and to do your own thing, start your own company, start your own project, whatever. But this is a kind of the breakthrough, so to speak. There's no facades anymore, and it could be stripped away from you as well if you're reluctant, right? Yeah.Lesley Logan 5:56 Yeah. I feel like when you fight anything, it doesn't go so well. (inaudible)Kate Swick 6:03 And then for Aries, from the Uranus standpoint, I think 2025 is the year to be spontaneous, to prove your capabilities beyond just your education or your past jobs. So they're getting a little bit more limber in their mind, maybe even in their body. Of what can I do? Maybe they're saying I don't need a certificate to do what I want to do. Lesley Logan 6:26 That's cool, but that works really well with what Pluto is asking Aries to do. So hopefully that's for every sign, but I like it for the Aries people.Kate Swick 6:34 Like we're up to a good start. Mary Swick 6:35 Easier than the others. I might (inaudible) move on to Taurus. It's a different thing there. I suspect most Tauruses are saying how did I get myself into the situation I'm currently in? There could be some sense of a stranglehold. There could be some sense of oh, my God, this is more, too much. I can't handle this. Or feeling if they're really being pushed, tested. This is their reputation that's being redefined, and there's usually some sort of initiation that you have to go through, and that's where the Tauruses are at, so to speak. So there is some challenges there for Taurus. I'm sorry, so that all can't be as easy, so to speak, but it delivers. There's always a reward. Astrology is not about okay, you're going to be punished now. No, no, no. It's going to create circumstances that make you so uncomfortable that motivates you to make the change. And that's what Tauruses are looking at, and they're having a baptism by fire.Kate Swick 7:33 And because with what mom just talked about it, seeing there public reputation. Think of their LinkedIn. What is my title? How do people address me when we look at the Uranus piece, it's affecting their money, right? And Uranus is this idea of surprise, shocking, taking us out of the trajectory that we've known. And so for Tauruses, I would say, anticipate some good news, or some something exciting around their money, so they could be creating new streams of income, or they might be redefining what security looks like to them. So security can come through money. But we also have to throw a little bit of love in there as well.Mary Swick 8:11 Should we go on to Gemini? Lesley Logan 8:13 Yeah, let's do it. Mary Swick 8:14 Gemini. You know, they could be suffering a little bit from imposter syndrome, very strongly. They could be going oh, my God, I'm in over my head. They've assumed I know something, and I really don't. I'm not up to speed. If there's a favorable one, Gemini is getting the benefit of the doubt here. They're getting pulled in, whether they're getting promoted, whether they're given an opportunity. Hey, we'll support you. You go take these classes, you know, have this opportunity, go represent us. It's very good. So my message to Geminis is, in 2025, yeah, you're going to be a little overwhelmed, but it's going to be very flattering for you for where it's going to take you, go there.Lesley Logan 8:56 I love that, Mary, because it's like imposter syndrome can be such a negative, people like I have imposter syndrom, it's negative, but it's we're often having that because we're in a new situation, that we're uncomfortable, and so, go Geminis. You're going to have something overwhelming in a flattering way. Mary Swick 9:12 That's right.Kate Swick 9:14 And that pairs very nicely with Uranus, because I don't think we quite said it yet. We know Pluto is moving into Aquarius, but Uranus is moving into Gemini. So Uranus is moving into the sign of Gemini. So while it's affecting the things that mom said as well with Pluto, Uranus is saying, break out, change that those outwardly behaviors that people see. So you might be surprising people. Where are you showing up? Are you dressed in a suit? Where last time the job that I saw you, you were dressed in joggers, right? So there should be an outward appearance by our Geminis that they have changed. It might be age inappropriate. It might not seem like that was the next logical step. So there could be a surprise element for what they're up to or what opportunities they're getting.Mary Swick 9:57 And what about Cancer? Those Cancers. They're being handed power, but they may feel very uncomfortable what to do with this power. They may want to make an alliance with someone, and then they realize, oh, now there's complications, because I've lined up with that person. So Cancer is walking a very fine line. They may have a lot of taboo or secrets that they need to hold. Think of upper management reorganization. They know stuff that's going to happen. They've got to zip their lip in the meantime. But we could also be talking about, oh, I've got a big debt issue. I don't want people to know I'm teetering on bankruptcy again. Those are extreme storylines, but they're great examples where you just not glib. You're not going to chat it up with everybody about what's going on. Lesley Logan 10:45 Because the opposite of Aries. Mary Swick 10:47 I want to add sex into this conversation, because there's intimacy, some tabooness, maybe some gossip, maybe something that you're trying to not have everyone understand, and maybe some sort of sexual awakening going on. Yeah, have fun. Kate Swick 11:05 From the Uranus standpoint, I think Cancers are putting more of a focus on health in regards to maybe becoming more aware of what do I need for therapeutic services? Now, for some people that might go into, oh, I need to go to the doctor. I need to get something checked out. But other people that might transpire, and I need to go to yoga, I need to go to the gym. I need to take mental health walks, things that assist them with essentially, kind of escaping to heal themselves.Mary Swick 11:35 So let's go on to Leo. Leo, you know, they have an awakeness about beauty, a greater esthetic going on. And that sounds fun. It sounds like they might be around maybe more wealth. They might be around beauty. They may have really influential people in their lives, and they're sitting first row and seeing, oh my gosh, they're seeing how they dress, or what their closet looks like. So they may be privy to this next level of living. And of course, they're going to be little apprentices sitting there watching how these people are living and wanting to emulate or adapt to it. So that sounds kind of fun, number one. But the other thing is, they're finding some passion, finding some passion something that motivates them. Again, so I'm pretty cool with the Leos. Yes, it's a possibility. They're being overwhelmed with someone who's has a lot of power influence, that they're getting sucked up. They're losing their identity. Well, those are all the lessons, right? They may do that temporarily, until they realize, you know, okay, that's not me, that's them.Lesley Logan 12:37 I like that. That's also because the Leo's, you know, my brother is a Leo. He's a Leo energy. We were in Cambodia, and every picture, he was in every picture, I'm like, how are you in every picture? There's 23 people on this retreat. How are you in every picture? Mary Swick 12:54 They do have an ego. We'll give them that. But that's why this idea of, okay, is this me or is this them? But it's a learning, big learning curve. Being inducted would be another life, nice way of saying it. Kate Swick 13:07 And I think Leo's next year might surprise people with what type of groups they're showing up in. So for example, if someone's a Leo and they've always been in a certain industry, this would be typical under a Uranus energy to say, oh, now I'm in the restaurant industry used to know me in the spa industry, but now, hello, I'm over here. So the idea of who is that group, who is that community, they should be showing up in new communities. And it's also a big one for being on a learning curve. So your Leo friends might be throwing out some interesting things that they're interested in that you thought. I had no idea that you were interested in that topic, because they are hungry for new knowledge.Mary Swick 13:46 And the Virgos, oh my gosh, the Virgos are getting very sensitive about discrimination. You know what? They're going to have, kind of this radar about unequal relationships, where they're being spoken down to, but also where, oh, everyone's listening to me now. I can be the teacher. I can be a coach. I can be the trainer. So it works both ways. One way, of course, they may want to prove themselves. Get out of that situation. Their work environment is going through a little revolution, the company, the department, or their individual business, they're having to make some dramatic changes.Kate Swick 14:26 Yeah, and that's really being doubled down by the Uranus, because we have Uranus sitting at the top of their chart. So I'm talking about sixth house, which is how they serve, and then the 10th house is the public reputation on top of it. So even though their work has been in a transformative state. I think as we go into next year, maybe they're going to be thrown into a role that they weren't totally prepared for, or they might have opportunities to show more of their inventiveness. This can also translate into the home where, if they're flip-flopping about, do we want to live here? Do I want to lease this? Do I want to resign my lease at the office, there could be a little confusion about where they're showing up or where their foundation is.Mary Swick 15:07 (inaudible) I'm sorry. Lesley Logan 15:09 That's right, I was just gonna say that's a lot for the Virgos, especially because don't, aren't they the ones that like it in balance? Mary Swick 15:14 Maybe I think (inaudible)Kate Swick 15:16 I agree for the ones that we've talked about so far, that one is hitting so much of the way that they serve. The other ones are kind of spread out. We have a little here and, yeah, a little here. And I feel like for them, it's a little bit more pointed on what they're dealing with. Lesley Logan 15:28 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Kate Swick 15:30 We are halfway through the signs. So I didn't know if there was any questions that you have so far about what we're discussing. Or we can go right into Libra. Lesley Logan 15:38 Well, just for a quick in case anyone is wondering about the house. Just like, and I know that's it's its own thing, but can people find out their houses through you guys? Where do they find their houses? Just in case that is a thing that they're wondering.Kate Swick 15:55 Yeah. So today we're just talking solar astrology. So we're basing the houses based just on their sun sign. So anyone that's a little bit more versed in astrology, they could be listening for their rising sign, and this would be very applicable to them as well. But if someone has no idea, they've never put their birth information into CoStar or they've never had a professional astrology reading, we offer services that would go more into understanding that natal chart, or talking about specifically, where is it happening in that birth chart? Solar astrology still has so much validity and even if we have someone's natal chart, many times, we still do incorporate the solar astrology aspect that we're talking about today.Lesley Logan 16:37 Yeah, if you go back, you guys and hit rewind, because you might have heard your rising like they did my rising. You can listen to that. And you can also listen to your sun sign, the one that we look in the magazines, for you guys, in case you really need to layman's terms it. And you can go, oh, this one actually feels more like what's going on. And you can kind of rest, right? It's not you pick and choose what you like, but you can kind of go, that feels more aligned with what's going on. Kate Swick 16:59 Absolutely. Because astrology is just the communication language. Astrologers, like to me, are like therapists. You know, you have to find one that they speak your language and the words resonate so you could hear two different astrologers talking, getting at the same thing, but because their language is a little different, maybe you relate to one more than the other. Mary Swick 17:18 Wonderful. Well, let's move on to Libra. Libra is finding or should I put it this way, the audience is finding Libras. The audience is finding Libras. Then often they go, oh, these people are interested. These people want to hear what I do, or they want to experience it. So whether it's just a random contact with someone says, Would you be interested in coming to our group? That's a case where the audience finds them. So kind of shoe on the other foot, we always think we have to go out and conquer and find and sometimes the group finds you. That's what's going on with Libras. At the same time they're probably facing some and I'm going to say demons, inner demons, that we could be head stuff, but we can also be talking the physical body. Oh, I need to take care of this. I need to be more mindful of my physical body. So they've got all battle going on, but at the same time, I almost will, within the same week, they'll also have someone reaching out to them and saying, I like what you do. Can you do it for me? Can you do it for us? So I think Libras have some great things to look forward to. Lesley Logan 18:28 Yeah.Kate Swick 18:28 Livelihood is one of the words that I would throw in when describing what Libras are going through from the Pluto standpoint. They're questioning is that my livelihood vitality, but with the Uranus, the Uranus also supports it very nice, because it's happening in that solar ninth house, and mom's saying people are finding them. And then the Uranus also suggests that they're being placed a little bit on a pedestal. They're being invited in. They're being given opportunities to be heard and seen on a much larger level. So sometimes that can be oh, because they're jumping on a plane and they're traveling to another city or another country and taking pictures. But also, if they're in business, they might say people in other states now are finding my name or on my website or listening to my podcast, they might feel like they have a larger web of who they can infiltrate.Lesley Logan 19:20 That's so fun. Mary Swick 19:22 That's a great combination for Libras. Lesley Logan 19:24 Yeah, they're gonna be, they're having the great year. If they want to be found, if you're on a watch list. Mary Swick 19:29 They're going where it takes them absolutely. The (inaudible), on the other hand. Now, okay, we should play some somber music for this one. The idea is the home environment. There's something been very disruptive in the home environment for Scorpios, they've already felt it here in 2024 it's going to continue through 2025 and yes, it's creating some sense of maybe, oh, a crisis. This needs to be taken care of, whether it's a maintenance issue, whether it's a behavior, whether it's health, whatever the matter is here, there are some sense of disconnect from home. Home isn't running the way it normally does. So needless to say, great time for Scorpios to get anything therapeutic, whatever feeds them, whatever can make them feel fun or whole or complete, so to speak. To counter all this heaviness going on. It's a big energy. Obviously, they may be releasing a lot of things. I would recommend it practice taking out the trash more often, you know, have more things in that trash can because you're releasing, your processing. I mean, it's the cheapest therapy, right, that you can get clean off the shelf. Lesley Logan 20:37 Throw stuff away. Mary Swick 20:37 It starts there. Kate Swick 20:39 And then for Scorpios, for Uranus, there is also a money theme to this one as well, but they might be making kind of a surprising or shocking change in how they view money, or how they're restructuring the money that they have. So yes, they could have a surprise. Oh, I'm going to make my money this way, or my partner's money has changed a little bit. It doesn't have to be just seen in the negative when we talk about the change, though, it can be something that, oh, that was actually very beneficial for us. It can also bring about awareness of mortality when we talk about that eighth house. So the idea of feeling like mortality, they have more awareness of it. And that doesn't have to mean someone passes away, but they just have the language around the idea of closing a chapter. And what does that new one look like.Mary Swick 21:28 Sagittarius. I would say to Sagittarius, beware of betrayal. Now that sounds like a little bit detective thing, but it's the idea of what is the truth. We went back to that example, that 2025 is a truthful year. You're going off your trajectory. Sometimes there can be a little trickster in this, and someone could be feeding you gossip or the worst case scenario, and be careful not to buy into it, because there's going to be intense conversations. The schedule is apt to be disrupted, and that can be just mundane stuff that can do that, so to speak, but it's an intense time period, so they have to be very careful with their own word, what they're repeating, but also who's in their ear, and is it clean information? That would be the key thing there. That idea of being the editor, maybe that's the word. Sagittarius needs to be a great editor this year in what they're hearing and deciding what is actually truthful.Kate Swick 22:28 And for the Uranus piece, it's affecting the area of partnerships and relationships. So we can go to sexual partners, but we can also go to professional partners as well. Sagittarius might be starting to conduct relationships in a little bit of a different way than they're used to. Now, if you're listening to this thinking, oh no, what's going to happen to me, right? The chart does meet you where you're at, so not everyone's going to experience it the same way. But if you're someone that says, oh, we've always shown up everywhere together, you might say, I'm going on my first girls trip. I'm branching off a little bit. And if it's not you requiring more freedom, then it can be partner requiring more freedom as well. Lesley Logan 23:08 Which gives you some freedom because they're gonna.Kate Swick 23:10 Which it does. Lesley Logan 23:11 Yeah, I know when my husband goes off to see his friends, I'm like, that's awesome.Kate Swick 23:18 Yeah and if you're not in a partnership, because that's possible, there's Sagittarius listening and thinking well, how does that affect me if I'm not in a partnership, anyone that we sign contracts with would be considered a partnership. So if you're leasing from someone right, there could be something that changes rather quickly, where, oh, I'm just going to go month to month now leasing, instead of the full years, there should still be a little bit of that inventiveness around what partnerships look like. Mary Swick 23:45 It could also be a very unlikely partnership, yeah, who are you with? And who is that? And that's unlike anyone you've been around before. Very fast moving. Well, let's talk Capricorns. Capricorns, I do think that they're mining, mining like digging. And they're taking, maybe they're finding a talent, ability, and now they're thinking, could this be a source of income? How deep can I get into this? So I'm saying they're finding talents and abilities about themselves. Now somebody else may be pointing it out. Oh, you're really good at this. Would you do it for me? It could be the start. If we have any Capricorns out there, we're trying to launch a side hustle, or a business, or things of that nature, would be very good. But they're going deeper in their talents and with their money. So of course, if we got a spending problem, oh, they're going to recognize it pretty quickly here, and have to put the band aid on or tear the band aid off, whichever is more appropriate there. But I think they have to be truthful about what they're really good at.Kate Swick 24:52 One other thing I might mention for Capricorn while we're talking about Pluto is we have to recognize that since 2008 Pluto has been going through every single degree of Capricorn. So our Capricorns have been through it since 2008, and Pluto, we've talked about it demands change and transformation. So they've been transforming. They've been changing. And now where Pluto's moving, they might say, I long for security. I want to be in this relationship for a long time. I want to live in this home for a long time. I want to work at this place for a long time, and security's gonna look different for everyone. But I think we do need to congratulate Capricorns. You know that it is done as we get into those first few months of 2025. Lesley Logan 25:35 You made it. You guys made it. Mary Swick 25:38 Yeah, finally, finally.Kate Swick 25:40 And then, when we talk about Uranus for Capricorns also affecting the workplace, so they should expect some exciting news or some change or some inventiveness in how they work. Are they outgrowing peers? Are they having new opportunities to teach or train or coach? Those would all be very exciting and supportive of Uranus.Mary Swick 26:05 And then we have Aquarius. I feel badly talking about Aquarius, where I've got you sitting right here, but I'll start out with Aquarius requires you rebirthing yourself, maybe under pressure. So I want you to think of the idea of gold. Gold forms under pressure. That's what Aquariuses are. So their timing, their schedule, could be a log jam, so to speak, but they will succeed, push through it, so to speak. I do think that this is very good for those in business. This can be leading to, let's say, big bucks or better bucks, than what they've experienced in the past. So we have some favorable things here. I would remind them take care of themselves, particularly in the reproductive area, the eliminative areas of the body, very important under this energy. I want to tell us a story. I hope you don't mind Kate, but she's an Aquarius, and you know she.Kate Swick 26:58 Lesley is, too. Yeah. Lesley Logan 27:00 I just heard all good news for me. I looked at my schedule, it looks a little log jam, so we already working on that, but I heard big bucks. And so I'm very interested, but I do want to hear Kate's Aquarian story.Mary Swick 27:14 Well, you know, Kate booked a room at the Luxor to watch the demolition of the Tropicana. She wanted to see it firsthand.Lesley Logan 27:23 Yeah, I looked at the videos, Kate, it looks like the smoke took over the rooms,Mary Swick 27:29 Exactly. It's a simple story. Oh, I want to see it firsthand. That's what Aquarius are doing. They're coming close to the fire. They're coming close to transitional energies. Energies that will take. We know what's going to happen on the Tropicana site, where we've seen the plans of what is going to be built. They want to be a part of this big reinvention of themselves. And it's scary, but it's very exciting, because these are long energies. This isn't like a, oh, 18-month energy, then it's going to be over. It's a 20-year energy. So congratulations, Kate. (inaudible)Kate Swick 28:04 She makes a good point about you might hear all of this and sound overwhelmed. I have to do all that, you know, and just the fact that I'll speak in the first person in this, I was attracted to seeing that Tropicana go down, because it's just mirroring something that I know is maybe brewing in my own life. So for Aquarians, when we start talking about Uranus, this is a big one for showing more creativity and innovation, and with where it's hitting, it might start showing up in the wardrobe, in how you're dressing, in how you're wearing your makeup, and how you're wearing your hair. There is a need to differentiate yourself. Now, for Aquarians, that might just sound like you guys are always differentiating yourselves. You are the alien of the group. But again, there's more of a need to do it. It's a big one for performative skills and leadership opportunities, we need to be seen. Lesley Logan 28:58 Kate, I love this for us. I'm just.Kate Swick 29:06 I think it adds a kind of a performative piece to the Pluto, because I do think that can be kind of emotional. And like mom said, just like the Tropicana going down, we know that that's going to be 18 months or something before we see what's going there. It doesn't happen overnight. Aquarians right now are not working on things that can be put on the to-do list in the morning and then crossed off by the end of the night. Mary Swick 29:28 Right. Very good point. Yes, yes. Kate Swick 29:30 I think we're lucky right now, if we put it on our 2024 vision board, will we see it before the beginning of 2025? Lesley Logan 29:37 That resonates so much with me, because we're in the middle of transitioning something in one of our businesses, and when we came up with this idea was already at the time we're recording this, you guys, was already four months ago. By the time it's unveiled publicly, it'll be six months from this. And so as someone who loves things that happen like this, I've had to go this particular project is going to take time for it to sunset, for it to transition, for it to evolve into its next thing that is also going to be successful for everyone who's involved in it. And it's the hardest thing. But thank you for bringing up the Tropicana. You guys, if you can't tell, we all live in Vegas, and you should google what the Tropicana being taken down. It was really cool. They did a whole show. But it's really cool to go, oh, a big building like that. The new transition, you can have the vision, but it's going to take time. And so thank you for bringing it up.Kate Swick 30:26 Yeah, and I hope that when you can launch your new thing, because I have no idea what it is, right, your thing, that there's a performative kind of aspect to launching it. I've changed, or, you know, that there's a new look that would come with it. Lesley Logan 30:41 Ooh, love that. Mary Swick 30:41 Fabulous. Well, let's wrap up with Pisces. I'd like to talk about Pisces. Let's talk like it's 2026, and I'm talking to a Pisces, and I'm going to say things like, how did you ever get out of that situation? Or, how did you turn lead into gold? How did you know what to do? So I'm going to suggest that Pisces, you're going to go through a storyline, probably a complex storyline that at the time you may go like, how am I going to find my answer here? You will, you will come out clean. I've had lovely stories of people who came from very harsh situations and they turned around and their life turned out really, really well. How did you survive that? How did you get through that? So we have something going on with Pisces here that certainly does suggest a challenge is there, but it also suggests a big healing going on, spiritual, mentally, psychologically, yes, it could involve the belief systems, religion. I do think, though it's going to involve maybe travel, but not comfortable poolside travel, you know, it's going to be adventurous travel, or third world country travel, something where there's a roughiness, or there's survival. How did you do that? How did you get through that? So Pisces is pulling the old magic trick, which they're naturally kind of good at that. Kate Swick 30:42 I think they're extracting themselves from something. But again, these are long storylines. These are not just something that it's already done and said. And then lastly, for Pisces with the Uranus piece, this is shaking up their home. So we know that Uranus is flip-floppy, Uranus is inventive, and so they're bringing that energy into the home. Now that can be something where they're saying, oh, let's move. And they get really excited about moving. Maybe they even start the process. They get a realtor, and then they decide, oh, never mind, right? Or maybe they have a new build, and they think it's gonna be done on a certain date, but, oh, it's not so now we have to live in an apartment for a small amount of time. So again, there can just be a little bit more chaos around the home, or some flip-flopping stories. Are we coming? Are we going? So it shakes up that foundation. I would say they have a little bit of flexibility in regards to what the home looks and feels like.Lesley Logan 33:01 That's fun, mom, that was for you. My mom is, is a triple Pisces. Mary Swick 33:09 Oh she has tons of stories that you say to her, how did you get through that, mom? Right? Lesley Logan 33:18 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Mary Swick 33:19 They come out unscathed from storylines that are. You just think, oh, you died, right, in that, you know, they didn't take it somewhere, and they did. Lesley Logan 33:29 That is so, you guys okay. So, wow, we went through all of that and these two big changes. I'm impressed with you both so much. And here's what I love about the way you guys talk about it. And Kate, you already mentioned this, but the way you guys talk about astrology is that even the things that can feel bad, they're always set ups for what is to come and where we're going to grow from these things. So I think that that's a really cool way of looking at it, because when I was growing up and I looked at the horoscopes in the magazines, you're going to have a really bad day. You're losing money like it just felt like these dark calls, but every single sign feels like they have something to challenge themselves in the next year. And then for Aquarians, it sounds like we get Pluto for 20 but if the big bucks keep coming for 20 years, I'm cool with that. But, we all have something to challenge. And then there's some other parts of us that's highlighting, and it's bringing out parts of us that need to be seen or want to be seen. And so I feel really cool about this. We're going to take a brief break and then find out how people can work with you if they want to know more about their chart. Lesley Logan 34:32 Okay, Kate and Mary, if our listeners are more than a little curious, they actually gonna go, hold on, I need a little more deeper. Also, you mentioned, Kate, astrology can be like a therapist. You need to find the one that works for you, something that when I listen to her to this podcast, Mom, Me and Astrology, you guys, you have to listen every Monday. It's how we set up the week. Brad and I (inaudible) listen. But what I like is that it is more of how did this feel last time you went through it? Because you really kind of give people the opportunity to shape and work with these energies, work with these planet changes. So how can people work with you? Mary Swick 35:04 Well, I'm very simple at this point, because I'm retiring out. I'm totally dedicated to the podcast. I love it. I want to do more of the podcast, but I'm not taking on new clients at this point, so I'm not looking to do a lot excessive scheduling. I'm in my 70s. So I'm trying to just hand off what I can to Kate and support her, of course. But I really like the idea of getting the message out there about astrology.Lesley Logan 35:29 I love you. You even you know that several of us talk about how fun you are to listen to. And I also love that you are enjoying your like semi-retirement and allowing that boundary. We all should learn from that. So.Mary Swick 35:35 So you see it to be it, sometimes it's hard to unbecome it.Lesley Logan 35:47 Yeah, oh yeah, no. Mary Swick 35:50 (inaudible) on the flip side that you could put a focus on that.Lesley Logan 35:53 I know, well, you have to be it till you see it, retirement. This is you doing it. You're right now acting as if, because we're recording this for the future. So you just called that out. You just, you guys just witnessed being it until you see it right there, everyone. Oh, loving Mary, you get to listen to her every Monday on their podcast, but we can work with the lovely Kate. So how can people connect with you?Kate Swick 36:12 Yeah, my website would probably be the best place to start. kateswick.com, I'm also on Instagram, and have a small TikTok, but just to do some videos so people can see what I'm doing throughout the week from an astrology standpoint, but the website would be the best place to go. You can book services right through there, and they start just at 30 minutes. Or if you're saying I need more than that, you can go up to 90 minutes. But I always think, especially someone that's a little astrology curious, we get a lot of information in 30 minutes.Lesley Logan 36:12 I mean, we just went through 12 signs and two planets in like 35 so. Kate Swick 36:37 Exactly. Lesley Logan 36:40 Imagine if they were just focused on you.Kate Swick 36:50 Yes, get right to the point we don't like fluff. Lesley Logan 36:53 And you guys, if you want to go back through archives, I was the Aquarian episode in 2023 and I know that can sound like it's far away, but I really got so much from that, and it wasn't even a full 30 you know what I mean? Well, I got so much, so you guys can get a lot in 30 minutes, and then if you need more, you can do that. Ladies, you gave us so much. And when we talk about the be it action items at the end of the episode, I guess if you have any tips for applying astrology in our lives, or any takeaways from these when planets change, like how we should implement that? I would love to wrap the show up with your answers on that. Mary Swick 37:30 I have something pretty simple to say. It just helps. It's like having a friend who can just give an opinion or show something to you that you didn't see yourself. Astrology is very validating, not as much as it is predictive. I mean, we say predictive, but it's really validation is the key to it. If you're getting the green light, that kind of says go. Get the yellow light, oh, maybe not, you know, slow down, not the right time. It's a valuable, valuable tool. Lesley Logan 38:02 I love that as an item, as a way to look at it as a validation. I think that's a it's a really wonderful thing. And I know we always want to use a prediction, but I find it's easier to look backwards and go, oh, that's how that showed up, right there. We'll all know what happened this Sunday, that (inaudible) it was all in the stars. We're all going to be there. We didn't know what the thing was until it happened. So yeah.Kate Swick 38:23 I agree. Validation is the word that comes to my mind. I think a lot of times, astrology is seen as, oh, they're going to give me the answer, they're going to tell me what to do. And astrology just says these are the energies that you're under. And, one, so it goes into that validation, okay, that's what I'm feeling, that's what I'm doing. So you're not questioning yourself. Did I mess it up? Am I in the wrong place? Am I in the wrong time? Do I just throw everything away? So the validation piece is there, but also knowing what's going to happen, especially when you go through hard things, for example, being in Aquarius and being under this Pluto energy for the past 18 months, like, when hard things happen, then I'm just like, oh, Pluto chucks, you're here again. Obviously it doesn't take away from the emotion of what I'm going through, but it almost just says this is temporary. I'm learning a lesson here, not to blame astrology, but to just understand I'm going through and dealing with exactly what I'm supposed to be dealing. I'm not the victim. I'm not being punished. This is all part of much larger plan and a much larger cycle. Mary Swick 39:23 And believe, Kate and I have been going through some really strong health issues for my husband, her father. So we have so had Pluto energy tracking it. And I know every day we look at each other and go another Pluto story for us, you know, and yet we have very optimism. Good people go through those Pluto energies. They come out better. And I've seen some miraculous financial stories come out of these energies, so.Lesley Logan 39:49 Yeah, I will say, Mary, you were the one who was like, looking at my chart, and that said, you have riches. You just have to mine for them. And that validation of like, okay, because that year that we talked about that like, which hit with one thing after the next, and I was just like, am I even in the right business? Am I doing the right thing? Am I on the right track? I listened to that again. It's like, okay, no, we just have to keep working through it and digging around, and it's gonna be there. You know, after May of last year, things sort of start to come to fruition in a great way. It was like all the efforting of laying the bricks and just keep it going. It was like, Okay, we're getting there. So I agree on the validation. I also think it's really great for going, Oh, Mercury or Pluto all the way. It's a different version than, ah, shit. You know, you get to like.Kate Swick 40:35 So many people do that with mercury, yeah, right? Because Mercury retrograde, everyone's like, oh, Mercury retrograde. That's why my ex boyfriend's reaching back out, or that's why the call dropped. So many people already do that, and she does have a bigger scope. You have more planets to blame. Lesley Logan 40:48 Yeah, share the blame. Give Mercury some time off, guys. I adore you, ladies, so much. This was a dream episode for me. I've to be really honest. I just love what you two are doing out there in the world and for all of us and you guys, go listen to their podcast. If you're like, where should I listen? Like you can listen to the weeklies, or like I was telling them before we hit record, like they have a Feng Shui series that they did in 2024 that was just really fun. And it was great. Like, okay, this is the one thing I'm gonna think about this month. And I say, think, that's really what we did. We thought about it and action will be taken another time, but, but I really enjoyed that series. So, so you guys should look at their podcast and look at the the Feng Shui series they did with the signs. You know, there's a lot of astrologists out there, but I really like the way you guys approach the week ahead. And it's not just like this week, it's this plan is changing the next two weeks. So here's how we could prepare for it. For my overachievers and perfectionist listening, it's nice because you can plan ahead when you listen to them. So thank you so much for gifting us with your amazingness and all the information and knowledge that you have. And for 2025 we're gonna be thinking of you. Lesley Logan 41:58 Y'all. ATTENTION, CANCER!!!! You've got a great birthday month ahead of you, so make the most of it before mischievous scamp Mercury retrogrades and ruins the fun. The gals start this episode with a catch-up that includes Laura's mastering of international relations and fun facts related to tennis. But the star of Susan Miller's content this July is her note to her readers, so there is a lot of Susan info for Laura and Alex to cover. To begin, her apartment flooded, so we learn all about how she was forced to evacuate her apartment and enter the overwhelming world of New York real estate. Then, as is Susan's way, she came down with a mysterious illness. This somehow transitions to a detailed description of the Astrology Zone calendar's editorial process, in which we learn the names of everyone who works for Susan. The gals then tell Cancer about the cheerful peach of a New Moon that they're getting for their birthday. This July, Susan orders Cancer to socialize, and not just in honor of birthday month, but to get ahead in business. Get out there, Cancer, and make those professional contacts! Laura then explains to her Tauruses that they must expand the borders of their worlds, which could possibly include the import/export of ideas! And Alex recommends that the Scorps be as productive as possible before Merc retro hits in August. Laura and Alex discuss the following at these timestamps: Note from Susan Miller: 7:32Cancer: 29:00Taurus: 37:07Scorpio: 43:04Share your own thoughts on Susan Miller's Astrology Zone with us by emailing astrologyzoned@gmail.com.Links:Read each episode's transcript at our website: astrologyzoned.comHelp Laura reach the full potential of her Susan Miller legacy by buying her romance novels: http://Lauralovelybooks.com
It's Taurus season, and we just keep coming back with more episodes. You'll never stop us! This month's episode is all about tenacious and stubborn characters, and the lengths they'll go to get what they want. With everything you need to know for writing a tenacious character, this episode will teach you how to break a character, how to plot around a stubborn reluctant hero, and how sometimes it really is okay for a character to get what they want. The cosmic energy of the Solar Eclipse last week remains for up to 6 months and sometimes more for some. This week we race towards 4/20 when Jupiter will conjunct Uranus- a 13/14 year reunion that occurs in various signs each meeting -super sizing all groups of people's healing, finances, and health. Watch out for impatience. Prepare for any electrical charges occurring in your life through mindfulness of actions. But first, Mars in Pisces will semi-square Pluto in Aquarius causing misses towards communicating desires directly. Holding in emotions can occur with Mars feeling relaxed in Pisces. Mars has aspects with the Gemini moon causing more discomfort in personal private relationships as feelings can be difficult to understand leading into the weekend. The Cancer moon leads the weekend's mood for nurturing and security through enjoying comfort foods with family and friends. The Cancer moon also has a run in with Mars and Pluto again, causing more irritations to fester over the weekend. Doing home centered activities can help to dispel some excess energy caused by Mars' hyper enegy, and Pluto's extreme actions. Friday 4/19 finds the Sun shifting into Taurus for a month of nature's growth as Spring turns warmer towards Summer. Taurus is sensual, financial, enjoyment of fine foods, and the status quo. The Bull represents all the joys of a holiday homecoming with all the trimmings plus all the bells and whistles. Downside to Tauruses are their stubborn bull headed extremes that can lead to dictatorship or mental illness. The beginning signs of the zodiacs are the initiation zodiacs; and Taurus, just like Aries/Gemini/Cancer/Leo have childlike wonder and impatience with a pure love that inspires. Taurus season finds Shakespeare's writing perfuming the air with potential to rest and enjoy stopping along our walks in nature to smell the flowers and to plant even more. "The grass is always greener on the other side." -is a Taurus saying. Accumulating wealth is easy for most Taurus due to their kind purposeful personalities. Also on the same Friday, Jupiter is next to Uranus in Taurus bringing on a meet up that will last through out the entire month of May until it moves into Gemini on 5/25/2024 for a year! A lot to process with this electrifying duo that always surprises collectively with unseen historical events. We can prepare by staying balanced in order to have clarity when extreme emergency events push us to act with faith that it can get done. Remain vigilante with health, safety, communications, and transportations as Mercury's domain is moving backwards. Mindfulness and meditation will help to keep the mind quiet when it pushes for actions due to Mars' influence combined with Pluto's vibes. Thank you for you continued support and to my new clients for personal readings! I'm truly grateful for your faith in me!! See everyone next week as THE biggest cosmic day arrives on 4/20/2014 and I'll be there to report on the historical astrology environment! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jody-cirame/message

TRANSCRIPT: Hi, everyone. Welcome back to the Regenerative Business Podcast with Sam Garcia, which is who I am. And I have a special guest today. I have been saying this for weeks, but I'm so excited to have Robin Langford here from Wicked Veracity. She is a traditional astrologer. She is a stoic. She is a witchy human.I don't even know if, like, do you identify as a witch? Oh, she's a witch. aNd she's been on for the last few years giving our annual forecasts. For those who are into astrology but don't know traditional astrology, it is far more accurate and impressive when it comes to actual I guess predicting the future. Can we just, yeah, predicting the future. So if you've worked with people who are more modern astrology or, or archetypal astrology or all the other types of astrology, and you've been like, this is bullshit. It's because it wasn't traditional astrology. So strap yourselves inand hi Robin. Hello. Yes. I am a traditional astrologer and it is predictive.I do believe fate's a thing. And. I do think that the other forms of astrology are exceptionally good at personality things and helping people get to know it, know themselves but they don't, they fall apart a little bit when it comes to predictive astrology in my experience. Yeah, so let's just jump in.We were talking a little bit before and I was like, I don't, I don't want to say things. And Sam's like, no, say the thing. So we're just going to start off. I'm going to say this. Go ahead.Oh, I was just gonna say, I'm, I, Robin didn't want to say things, but I was like, no, the people listening to this podcast are like more prepper type, they're, they know that the world is going to shit and they've been sensing it, like, whether you psychically sense it or you're looking around and you're like, crossing your fingers that the American government falls apart, like, this might be our year, you guys. Not this year, but this is the last, what I would say, But it's also a pretty semi stable year for a while. Because 2027 have a variety of things that are going to be happening that are a little unsettling and that indicate a lot of massive change. And one of the examples that I'm going to give, and there's a bunch, but I'm only going to do the one, is that in 2025, it Uranus moves into Gemini and Uranus has been in Gemini in American history three times, and those three times were the American Revolution, the Civil War and World War Two and that sounds scary, which is why I'm like, I'm not really ready to have a conversation about it, but the thing to remember is, whether you like the American government or not, all three of those movements moved social justice and liberation forward unequivocally and in massive ways and while they were war is horrible, et cetera, et cetera.People dying sucks, right? It's generally necessary in the course of human events to have a war if you want things to change. So, none of those were objectively bad for everybody, period. Right? Like, there were a lot of people who made a lot of money. There were a lot of people who got more freedom. I would argue that's pretty fantastic.Yeah. And so a lot of good things come out of war, whether people want to admit it or not, and I'm not saying that this will be a war because each thing has looked different slightly. Right. But it's like, there could be some. A greater degree of instability, not this year as much. But coming up, and so the way that I'm looking at this year is like a very.almost preppery kind of year, which is what we were talking about. And a lot of my magical creatures, which is what I identify. I mean, I, my clientele tend to be entrepreneurs that are either neurodivergent or magical and sometimes both. And a lot of my magical creatures have already kind of been like, I want to solidify this.I want. I want more security here. I want less reliance there. And I think that's a lot of what you tapped into with your book. Is that feeling that the magical creatures have been, it's been building. And the reason it's been building is because the astrology is moving in that direction. Right. And.Yeah.The other thing we wanted to preface was if you hear things about this year or future years, it doesn't necessarily mean that that is going to be your personal life experience, because our, this is the astrology of the collective, not necessarily the astrology that you personally will be experiencing. If you want to know how exact things hit your chart, your personal chart, work with an astrologer because they will be able to tell you,oh,oh, oh, maybe not work with an astrologer. Work with a traditional astrologer, not just any astrologer. It doesn't have to be me, but like, you want to make sure that they're a Hellenistic astrologer or they say they're a traditional astrologer because. You just do. And if you want to work with me, that's great. But if you don't, like, that's who I would go to. And youcan't hire Robin for individual readings. She's fantastic. And I've only heard insanely positive things about having a reading with her. So her or another traditional astrologer would definitely serve you.For like a once a year check in withhow this year will look like for you. Absolutely. Cause there's so many different things that impact whether or not a transit, which is like what the planets are doing at any given moment are going to have an impact on you. And just some of them is like, where are the eclipses in your chart? Is your chart specifically being triggered by any of the events? What is your annual perfection? There are so many things. And if it's none of those are being affected in your chart, you might not even notice it. You might be like, I don't know. I was on a cruise. It was fine. You know, it could be nothing for you.All right. So those are all my caveats, right? That's all of them. We can yeah. So I'm going to say that January is a really big new beginning in a way that most calendar year, new years are not. And that's because Mercury station direct on new year's day, Jupiter station direct a couple of days before there's only one planet in the sky that is retrograde right now, and that is Uranus. And he's like. He's fine that he's retrograde, right? This January, February, specifically January though, is when, if you were gonna hustle, that's, that's when I'd be hustling and I'd be planting all your seeds and kind of getting a really good idea of what would serve you well, and what your ideal is, and working towards that as hard as you can, so that even if there's a storm later on, that you have, you know, you have your, you have your hurricane supplies, you have your You know what I'm saying?Like you have the foundation set as an entrepreneur for what you want. You're not, this isn't maybe the best year to do wild and I don't know. Is there ever a good year to do wild and crazy things? I mean, you're going to do what you're going to do, right. But it's a great year to really figure out like what would serve me fantastically. And to be putting that into place and trying to get the habit down. And that's pretty much from January 1st to March 15th. I don't really have a lot of bad things to say about that period. It's pretty functional. I am going to just, if you're not on my, if you're not on my email list, you should absolutely be on my email list because I break it down every week.Right. And there's some pretty significant things that are happening in January. I'm going to go over them very briefly here, January 20th, we have the last. Pluto conjunction with a planet that's in Capricorn and it happens at 59 minutes 50 or like 29 degrees 59 minutes was like as far as the very last inch of Capricorn and Pluto has been in Capricorn transforming that area of life for everybody since 2008.And that was like a lot of the banking crisis stuff that we had and the housing bubbles and like all of that the Bitcoin the new way that we worked with money like that kind of thing was pluto and in capricorn what it looks like pluto and aquarius is going to be which he we had a little preview from like March to June of last year it looks like it's going to have a lot to do with AI and, and how AI is probably going to explode over the next 19 years. That's the best guess that we have right now. And just typically like if I look at the 200 year rotations, which I've done there's a lot of tech advancements for whatever that meant in whatever period going all tech and cultural advancements going all the way back to like 50. So I can go, that. That seems to be true. And so. That's not a bad thing. It's not a scary thing. And if, and if March to June of last year, doesn't ring any bells. It's possible Aquarius isn't super active in your chart. But if March not, not March 8th, April March to June. But if you're like, what is Pluto in Aquarius? What transformation is that going to be for me?These are the dates I want you to remember. February 5th, February 14th. February 17th, and February 22nd, and the reasons for that is because the first three of those, we have Mercury, then Mars, then Venus conjunct Pluto at that zero degrees. Okay. And if, if that was significant for you, I promise you, you're going to notice. And the last one, which was February 22nd is there's a Mars Venus conjunction in Aquarius at like six degrees. And so that area of life is going to be super, super obviously highlighted. The other thing I'm going to say is, as far as Aquarius previews go, I actually have a few other dates, March 30th.I'm sorry, March 31st of 2020. There was a Mars Saturn conjunction at the zero degree of Aquarius point, and it was probably a disagreement or warlike stance in this area of life or someplace that you encounter strong resistance or a need to change. December 21st of 2020. I know Sam's going to remember this one.It was a great conjunction. That we did a lot of work on. That was the Saturn and Jupiter conjunction. And that was at the zero degree point. And then there was a Mars Venus conjunction on March 6th of 2022. anD so if any of those dates, feel free to go back and write them all down. If any of those dates are like, Oh crap, something big happened then.Yeah. Welcome to your Aquarius era. Cause yeah, I promise you it's going to be a ride. WhatI was just realizing is like, that is exactly when I had the, cause I'd been writing. The regenerative business book, I'd been writing it for very inconsistently for, I don't know, seven months or something. And then in March of 2023, I was just like, I need this book out.I need it out now. And then like spent all of my free time writing to get it out by. May 26.SoI'm like, okay, February. What is coming with? Yeah. And I mean, that's your house or something. Yeah. Yeah. So it's, it's relevant or North node. It's something like that. It's your 10th house. I mean, there might be other stuff there too. I'd have to look. But yeah, I know it's going to be relevant for you in that particular way. And. You have like 19 years of transformative growth that's coming and there's gonna be a lot of things that trigger it, but it's just that very narrow window of period period of time in February that it's going to get hit over and over so often that I promise you, if you have anything there, you're not even going to need to ask anybody. You're gonna be like, well, that's obvious by the end of February. Right? And I'll tell you, like, that's if you have anything in Aquaria, if you have anything around 0 degrees of Aquarius. Leo Scorpio, and Taurus. Is that right? I feel like that's right. Big signs? Hmm, ah, I don't know. I'm, I'm not looking at anything in my, but, yeah, for sure though, Aquarius and Leo, around zero to two degrees, I'd say you, you're probably gonna notice. So that's the first part. And then, then we get, so that's January. Like, March is just kind of like, And February is only really interesting to me because you're going to get such a good preview of all the Aquarius stuff which is, I think, useful, since it's the beginning of a 18, 19 year thing, and if you look at your Capricorn house and think about how it's changed from 2008 until now, you'll get a, you'll get a taste of how big and how I'm going to talk about how long Pluto transits are and like how much they can change things. Mine was in my fourth house. I had two kids, got divorced, built my own house, built my own business in my house, right? That's all fourth house topics. So it's Capricorn house stuff is, is what's happening. That's what you're saying? It's what's wrapping up and we're moving into the Aquarius. Okay. So like I feel like this is another caveat of like this is slightly more advanced astrology topics that we're just kind of like running through very casually. I'm just realizing that I'm like some people don't even know what a house is. That's true. That's true. But it'll just pay attention to what's new. Like what's new and exciting in February is going to be an indicator. It's going to be a trend for a longer period. How about that? Yeah, whatever seems to be very focused. Also, I think people are just going to get a lot of New insights in January and February, which is another reason that I say it's, it's not easy. It's very productive, but it is it does have, like, my green light for it, like, until March 15th. So I'm going to switch to March 17th to April 28th, which is what I call the chaos zone. And I don't have really anything nice to say about it. It's a lot of confusion and aggression. We have 2 eclipses and a mercury retrograde during that period. And a lot of very challenging aspects pretty much the whole time. So for the business people out there, if I'm launching, it's not between March 17th and April 28th. I'm a hundred percent not doing that. And your vacations. I, or maybe not. If you want to like your family, I mean, I've done vacate. Like when I went to Alaska, it was during an eclipse. It was during an eclipse window. Right. And you can do that, but it, I mean, ultimately it depends on like where it's going to show up in your life. I'm not saying that it's a bad time, but there's going to be a lot of chaos. Right. And so one of the things that I tell the people that I work with a lot is. There's no, there's no period. There's no point in time where you just need to stop living your life. Yeah. Right. There are points in time that you're probably going to need more help managing your mind, or that you're going to need to be more resilient and more adaptable. And so March 17 to April 28, that's what that is right there's more external chaos, and there may be more internal chaos depending on where it is in your chart. And you're probably going to have the opportunity to be more resilient, and I don't think that's a bad thing. Is there any chance that, like, for people who hear chaos and are like, good things actually come out of chaos for me, like, maybe that is a time to, to leverage? I'm not saying that unless I look at their chart. Okay. I'm gonna say, like, There is no traditional astrologer that is ever going to say the period between March 25th and April 8th is a good time to do something. You aren't going to find a single person that's, I, I would put money down on that if they're a traditional astrologer, they would not say that because that's between two eclipses and there's a Mercury retrograde in the house of the eclipses. No, no, no. Now there are people who like chaos magic. Go with God. I'm not recommending it. Okay, but that doesn't mean like, don't do your business, right? Like, I'm still going to be running my business. I'm still going to be seeing clients. I'm still going to be living my life. I'm not going into a hole, but I'm 100 percent planning just like, like a hurricane plan, right? Like, just I live in hurricane alley. For those of you who don't know we plan for a category 5 hurricane to hit and then we hope it doesn't right. And if I'm looking at the year, that period is hurricane season. I, I'm, it doesn't look Maybe batch content ahead of time. Well, see, but like, I don't even consider writing content difficult. So for me, like, I'm not anticipating me not being able to write, because I know where it's going to hit in my chart. I know where the drama is likely to be. And this is where like working with an astrologer and just knowing the areas of life that are likely to be more challenging is useful because it's not in my work sectors, it's in my relationship sectors. I don't have a relationship. I'm not super worried. Right. I'm like, what can't you? Oh my gosh. I can't wait to hear the behind the scenes now that you've said that publicly. But that's not going to affect my work, right? Like, that's not a work thing. That's, that's some other form of chaos. So how do people figure out what sector it's in? It's what the house that what's what's in Aries, Aries and Libra. Okay. I have nothing in those houses. Yeah. Like I'm not like, do we want to let's cheat and like, we'll just give a little preview of what can happen if I have your chart. Most people really like it when I talk about other people's charts on podcasts. Because they are like, Oh, I didn't know you could do that. So I'm just going to pull your chart up. I have no, no planets in Aries or Libra. Okay. But since I don't remember that, I'm not going to, yeah, I don't think, but I think you're going to probably do a lot of publicity stuff. That's my guess. Okay. And have chaos. I have chaotic publicity. Okay, but I want you to think about that, right? Like, think about chaotic social media publicity. That could be something going viral. Yeah. Because chaos isn't inherently bad, but you can't plan for it. That's why when you were like, would you try to manifest something? No. But I would expect things to go probably viral or for you to unexpectedly get opportunities from benefactors. So like somebody So this is, this is, these are conversations we've had offline plenty of like I feel as though personally and I don't know about other people but I feel like when bad things happen collectively, like. I actually like personally do really well. Like I, I, I handle it well, like, like weird miracles and opportunities pop into my life. So like when I hear chaos, I'm like, okay, things could actually be good for me. Yes. Yeah, they could, but not planned things, right? And, and that's the difference. It's just like, that's why I say adaptable and resilient because yes, lots of opportunities. And, and eclipses aren't inherently bad. There's sudden new beginnings and sudden endings, right? And that's not bad. It's just not when I'm trying to plan something that I want to go according to plan. You don't play. Yeah. Just have your hurricane plan. Yeah. But even that is like, which way I evacuate is based off of which way the storm is projected to go. Yeah. Yeah. Right. I still have to be adaptable. So, so what about May? May through June is freaking delightful. I love it. Yeah. May is great. There are a bunch of really really lovely things that happen. I have it as a green period, May 1 to June 7th. Especially if you have a lot of Gemini or Taurus placements. And for the people in the back, what does a green period mean? Good things. I don't really have anything bad to say. So like a green light, you're saying like green light, green, yellow, red. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, I'm basically green yellowing and red. This is my other green period, so January 1st of March 15th and May 1st of June 7th are my green lights. I like them a lot. If you happen to have significant TAUs or Gemini placements. Lord, it's about to be good. You have Gemini. Amazing girl, what? Yours is about to be good. You just know how much I hate Taurus. I don't hate Tauruses, I just like Taurus season is like the bane of my existence. Yeah but there's just a lot of really lovely things happening in Taurus and Gemini, and even if you don't have anything in that area, it's still a nice period for most people. Again, when I say that there are good periods, it very much depends, like, what's happening in your chart, blah, blah, blah. I have June 8th through July 31st as just sort of a yellow light. It looks like working hard more than anything else. Like, it looks like there's things that people are figuring out. And, but not, not hurricane season. I don't dislike it. August 20, August 4th to August 28th, so Mercury Retrograde. Mercury Retrogrades, for those of you who have not been working with me forever, is just a period that's better for reviewing. So like, review your copy, review your funnels, review your website. You know, it's not necessarily the best time to start something new. Back up your systems. You know, just like, very functional. Yeah. Let's scoot back to, you said June 8th through July 31st is this yellow period. And you're saying that it's like a working hard period. Do you mean by that, like, things don't, like, they're just taking more work or it's just a good, it's a good, like, what is the, face the grindstone? Yeah, nose to the grindstone. Yeah, I think it could be, it could go either way. It kind of depends on the person. I think it'll either be like, it'll either show up as people wanting to do work that's a little bit harder, like feeling like, oh, I can tackle this thing. Or Like something happens and they just have to figure it out. It could go either way. But it's it's like a productive forward kind of movement as opposed to netflix and chill I haven't heard any Netflix and chill periods so far this year. You're not going to hear any either. I don't have any coming up. Not a rest year. Excellent. Yeah. I mean, yeah, I don't know. There's a lot of opportunities for forward momentum, I would say. And then there's some really good opportunities, you know, like how you when you, oh, that's a really, nobody, but you and I are going to get this, but scrum, right? Like where you're doing sprints, there's a lot of sprint periods. For, for those listening, Scrum, I feel like it's less popular now, but there, it had like a moment in the online business world where everyone was doing Scrum sprints. I feel like there's another, another name for it, but it's this type of, this type of project planning and project working that was based off of, usually like app software developers and how they created apps. So like you would work for two, two weeks hard on this one very specific project essentially to try and get the next like 2. 0 version of the app and the 2. 1 version of the app and the 2. 2 and like you'd keep on doing these and then it kind of caught on for for a hot second. I don't know, maybe a decade ago in the online business world where people would work in sprints and do like have this two week. This is the only focus for two weeks. So you're, you're saying that's for the year or specifically this June, July period. I would say like often, like I, I kind of see this whole year as there's like little chunks that people are working on one thing and they go work on the next thing. And it's like, it seems very, very distinct to me, like, Oh, you're working on X project January and February, and then March and April, there's something else you're working on. And then may and June and then June and July. And then August is it's like own little beast. And that's that's very Mercury, like, almost all of August is Mercury retrograde. And so that, to me, feels like August is very much a reviewing what you've done kind of period, even more so than some of the others, because immediately in September, we go into eclipses again. And so September 6, September 16th to October 16th, I have as a red zone, for a couple of reasons, and now we're getting to the part of the part of the story. So September 17th is the first eclipse in Pisces. That's a new cycle. That's where the eclipses will be in 2025. October 2nd, we have our final eclipse. I think it's the last one in Libra. It's for sure the last one this year. And that'll be wrapping up the Libra Aries eclipse stories. And on October 4th, Mars It's his retrograde shadow. Mars is gonna. Here's the thing. Mars is gonna be in either Cancer or Leo for like eight months. So I mean those two signs and So it he first goes into cancer I didn't write it down. So I'm just gonna look real quick first goes into cancer on September 4th, and then he goes into Leo November 3rd And then he goes back into Cancer and then back into Leo and he doesn't leave until June 17th of 2025. What are, what's the, what are the flavors of Mars and Cancer and Mars and Leo? Mars and Cancer is like a warrior in full plate metal splashing around in the ocean trying to attack somebody. And that's how, and we're the warriors and that's how we feel. Yep. Great. Huh. Yeah, it's not a fun time. It's not where we want Mars to be. So we're fighting for our lives, but it's, it's, it's almost, I, what, the picture that comes in my head is, like, I had in my dream, not so much lately actually, but I used to have this reoccurring feeling in dreams where you're running and you can't move, like you're like, you're moving at super slow speed, almost like you're, you're trying to run through really dense water. That's Mars and cancer, and he's going to be there for like, Six months total. That's ridiculous. anD it's not a bad, like, if, if you're hearing this, you're like, well, I have Marsian cancer and I blah, blah, blah. Great. You're gonna love it. You're gonna feel so comfortable. Maybe not love it, but like, you're gonna feel, this is gonna be familiar. Yes. And for people who don't know, don't know Mars. Mars is action. Like, it's how you take action. It's like your, your masculine drive often, like this. Like the, the Yang part of the, yes. It was, and people, there are political correctness things that I'm going to blow out of the water right now, but Mars is masculine energy feminine and feminine energy is Venus. And it's a polarity and every human has both. You have both in your chart, you have both in your makeup, right? Like it's, it's not that I'm saying this is female and this is male, it's literally just the masculine principle and the feminine principle. And Mars does not like to be in cancer. He's not a fan. Passive aggressive sometimes. Not because they're trying to be manipulative, but because being aggressive feels so uncomfortable that the only way sometimes that Mars in cancer will make a move forward is, is in think about, okay, you know, crabs actually move side to side, but they still move forward. That's very much Mars in cancer. Like it has trouble going directly forward because. I love that. Yeah. And then why isn't Leo? Yeah, I was about to ask. Tell me. But you know the, the, the dude that was in Gladiator? Yeah, there you go. Russell Crowe? Is it Russell Crowe? Is that the guy? I don't know. I don't actually. But yeah, that movie, like, where he's like all buff and like his whole life is killing things and it's like very, very like, warry. So does that feel good? Like, because I know when righteousness feels good, like it might not like feel good to like be against it, but I'm like, it kind of sounds righteous to me like, but when you're feeling of righteousness, it feels good. So, so full disclosure, my Mars is in Leo, and you've seen me get angry. That's what Mars in Leo is like. And I do get very righteous when I'm angry. Like, if I'm angry, if I really am angry, I used, I, when I was a kid, I was a Christian and I wanted to be Michael's apprentice. Not, no joke. Michael is the right hand of God. He's the sword of God. He's the justice of God. I was like, I want that job. How do I get that job? And they're like, no, Robin, that's an angel thing. Well, but y'all said when I die, I could be an angel. Well, but not literally. And I'm like, well, then why did say it? I thought that was a possibility. So is this a scenario where We're going to get angry at things, and it's going to be productive. So let's look at the timeline, shall we? So the elections are in November. Okay, so Mars is I'm just gonna I'm like, I want to make sure I'm looking at the right time lines. I feel like everyone's already upset about they're gonna get more upset. It's gonna it's not gonna get better. So Mars goes into cancer September 4th and November 3rd, right around election day. Mars goes into Leo. Wow. So, November 4th is usually Election Day, yeah? So it's like literally before. Oh my gosh. So, thinking about that righteous anger, right? That's what's going on. You think like actual violence will happen? Because you were like referencing Gladiator. I'm not comfortable making that kind of prediction without looking at other factors. I will say that November 3rd is when Mars goes into Leo. And he Stations retrograde December 6th, which is generally when, around the time the elections are actually finalized and called and everything, right? And then he goes into, he goes into cancer again January 6th. So there's going to be like some weird, like, recalling the ballot thing, and Yeah, I mean, that's what I will say, is I think there's going to be election shenanigans. And I think they're already I already like, I feel like they're already happening. I'm just saying, like, I, I don't see how we get away from it. It looks very contentious or right around the election period with the way that Mars is stationing and a few other things are happening. Pluto goes back into Aquarius, November 19. And main stuff happening in post eclipses. The main stuff happening on October, November is this Mars stuff, or is there also other things happening? It's mostly Mars. We also had so Mars. So Pluto goes back into Aquarius for the final time on November 19th, and then it's full steam ahead and Aquarius. Because he spends like 2 months. So he comes back out like. end of August, beginning of September, he goes into Capricorn. The other thing in the end of the year, October 16th to the end of the year, I have a yellow. I don't even have it as red, right? Like the, but we do have a Mercury retrograde from November 25th to December 15th. And that Mercury retrograde shadow happens right around election time. And Mars retrograde is in Leo. It starts in Leo on December 6th and ends in Cancer on February 25th. Yeah, I mean, the fact that we haven't, the other thing that I didn't mention about the eclipses in March and April is that they go across the United States. One side of the other full solar eclipse. Last time that happened, Trump was elected. tHere's a lot and I don't even care what people's politics are about Trump, whether you love him or you hate him, or you think he's a devil, or you think he's a savior. Like, I don't really care. Nobody can deny that it created massive upheaval in the United States with him being elected. There's like families torn apart, you know, blah, blah. And that happened after the other great American eclipse. Right. And so even if it's not him, it doesn't look between that and Mars, the elections don't look. Oh, easy. No. And does that have anything to do with your business? No idea. Don't know what your business is. Might be great for business if you're a button maker and you're making buttons that say go vote for this guy and go vote for that guy, it'd be great for your business, right? Like if you're a political commentary person and you, and you make a lot of money doing that, like I can think of some Instagram influencers that I follow who are full on. It's mostly politics, right? Like I fully expect, I feel like even just, Okay, yes, with buttons and all those things, but often for online businesses, a key part of having a really solid following of people who will fight for you and your business, like, is having very controversial stances, like, or not necessarily controversial, but like Very like I I'm putting my flag in the ground on this thing, whatever that thing may be. And it sounds like Mars and Leo can help with that. So you could actually use this time period to and use the emotion of anger. Anger fueled posts can actually be the most viral posts. You have the most shared posts. You have the most, the most the posts that actually solidify people's love for you because it's, go ahead. Let's dial that back a tiny bit. I don't want to say anger. I want to say passion. Yeah. I actually think anger is a very useful emotion to feel posts by, not like all of them. Of course not. But, but there is anger and passion. This Mars is this action oriented thing. People will take action when they tap into their anger. There's no question about it. So it can, I want to just lean into the potential that this could be actually an amazing time period for you to actually make a name for yourself, to have people fall in love with you, to have your business do extremely well. Sure. Sure. I'm calling this in for all of us. Yes. I mean, I would rather people not. I mean, I know that anger is useful and sometimes that's the only way that people can make a change. It's also because it's such a volatile period. Typically, when people are angry, that becomes an us versus them mentality that is. dehumanizing occasionally. And I've seen it a lot. No, you have to do it gracefully. No, but Simone Soul, a client of mine, a client of yours, she, like one of her like top 10 tips in having a, a successful business is to tap into your anger, anger and talk about things that you're angry about because you'll actually put passion behind it. It doesn't have to be this, like we're tearing down the world. Of course, I'm all for that too, but But you actually having a stance on something is extremely useful in online business. So this is where y'all can tell if you know astrology that I have a lot of placements in Libra and Sam doesn't have any. Because I am very much. I also have Mars essentially conjunct my rising sign. Yes, she does. Yeah. So, and I, my anger is very I, I'm more like, you know, I am, I mean, I'm, I'm all about total warfare. It's just that video game. I feel like it is, is what total warfare. Oh, it is. It is a name of, it's also a war strategy, which you, we might disagree on if you were to look it up. Where was I going with this? I was going with the, I think that there's so much. contention and volatility and hate that is a possibility that if you're that I am not going to get behind, I'm just not, I am not going to say lean into your anger. I'm going to say lean into your passion and what you're passionate about while also remaining aware of the fact that even if these people have directly opposing views, they're still humans. Because there's the potential for people to forget that. Yeah. And maybe not your people, or maybe you hope it's not your people, but. I'm, I'm a historian first and foremost. For those of you who don't know, that's what my undergraduate degree is in. That's what I taught for a really long time. That's what I freaking love. The divisive nature of some of these transits makes me just want to remind people that those people that you disagree with, those people who are doing horrible things in your opinion, or even if you want to put it as an objective fact, right? There's still stuff going on in their brain that got them there. And they're still humans. And. There's still a place for compassion and I used to use World War II as my favorite example because it was one of the periods that I focused on. Individual Germans didn't hate the people that got put in the concentration camps, right? They got riled up because of the political situation and because they thought that somebody else would stop it. And some of them got riled up because they just wanted to feel powerful. And there are all these, all these different reasons, right? But like Germans as a whole weren't. Horrible people, right? And I don't know, I just, I guess that doesn't mean don't fight back. It does mean that not paint with huge broad strokes. And it's going to be real easy to do that when Mars is pissed off in retrograde. It's going to be real easy for people to just be like, no, you like, like, let's say you like Trump. You're the devil. There we go. Or you're a Democrat and a woman. Clearly you shouldn't have any rights. You're too stupid to think for yourself. I should be able to do all that. And for, and we've seen some of that happening already. It's not like we haven't. And I want you to think back to the Venus and Leo retrograde and how some of the women's issues got pulled up and how many rights we've lost. very quickly. I don't know. I just think that there's a lot of volatility. Yeah, but sometimes, I mean, in going back to the original, or the beginning of this conversation, where Social justice and moving it forward. Yeah, and sometimes war and violence and things are necessary in order to fix some long standing, horrible things that happened during quote unquote peace. And have been happening for decades, if not hundreds of years.Ahundred percent. Here's the thing. I just figured out how I want to say it. There are children on both sides. The children aren't the enemies. And so, extremism is what I'm afraid is going to happen. It's like, you know where people get very extremist and they And they do things that even if they were on the right side of history, it was the wrong thing to do.You know what I mean? Like, I would, I would say that people would, I think most people would be like, Hey, America going up against the Nazis and ending Nazi occupation was a good thing. And Americans, like, bombing children in Hiroshima, maybe not a great thing. Maybe there was a better way. Right? But we didn't, we weren't trying. We were just trying to brute force and end it. And I guess that's the thing I'm saying. It's like, There's still no, Iknow. I'm just it's an interesting week to talk about this because they're literally the I've been like anti federal government for a long time, but like I was pretty confident about the local government being okay up until like these last couple months where they're trying to put a toxic waste dump.Next to our farm and move the toxic waste from an already toxic area to a new place right above a mother coral reef and do it in the stupid possible way with the 99 percent of the community vocally against it and they're still moving forward with it. So like we're about to do like straight up civil disobedience against it.So like, I'm like, oh, I'm kind of in this, this Morris stuff right now. And I'm like, very, like, I don't think it might be quote unquote extreme, but there's. Some bullshit happening. Anyways, we have only a few more minutes. Yeah. Did we get through everything? Because I can do a quick recap. We got through everything.Okay, so we saw January, February is a green period. It's a great time for hustling and planting seeds all the way through March 15th. And if you have any Aquarius placements, you're going to feel it. It sounds like a pot in a positive way, right? Yeah, maybe. I think it'll be interesting. I'm not, I mean, I don't think anyway.Yeah, it'll be interesting. You said March is pretty meh. But, but March 25th through no, March 17th through April 28th is like this, maybe the worst time of the year of chaos, confusion, aggression, and. So hold, hold tight for six weeks, sixweeks is a long time. So like, I mean, I, this is like, if you go to some of the traditional astrologers, there's some parts of the end of the year that not everybody's going to agree with me on.It's for me, I think it's the most most opportunities to learn resilience and adaptability. And so I'm not saying it's not a good time to, I think you're just gonna have to figure things out. I think it's going to be a lot more of a. It's also a really, the other thing I'll say about it is there's a lot of trying to move forward, not being able to, and there's a lot of having to review and a lot of weird fact checky things. It's like, there's just a lot of confusion around that period. Because there's some Neptune conjunctions and I mean, there's a bunch of Neptune conjunctions, which. It's just confusion. And thenMay and June, you said are delightful. Greet period, do all the things, feel amazing. If you're Gemini and Taurus, it's going to be extra good for you guys. And then June 8th through June 31st is a yellow. Not necessarily bad, but it's going to, like, it's, it's a, it's a working hard period. It'll be productive forward momentum, but it'll definitely, like, feel like work. Like that, but you remember, like, whenever you were writing your book, like, you were just nose down, right?Like, you were like, I'm just doing this, but you didn't, you didn't feel bad. Yeah,no, I, I like that feeling personally. August 4th through 28th, this is Mercury Retrograde. It's just a review, reflection time, nothing else really happening. And then September 16th through October 6th. Oh, oh,oh, what? So, okay, so July 8th to July 34th, 31st, I have is like very working focused.I would say August is challenging. Okay. I wouldn't, I mean, it's more challenging than the months before. Yeah. And it's like leading up to the September, October eclipse zone right like August is when it starts getting challenging September, October, we just have a bunch of stuff that sort of adds on. So that's like the red period when we really are like, yeah, I don't think it's as bad as the first eclipse like the eclipses, the eclipses at the beginning of the year I think are harder. But it's also important to just remember that this is going to start being like where the election stuff kicks up real high. Yeah, it, there's going to be a lot of sudden information that gets changed and more aggressive stances that are going to be taken. And then we also have a mercury retrograde and mercury shadow period like. And so it's just more, it's less the first half of the year is more effective. I would say it's going to be easier to be effective in the first part of the year. And then, and then you said that November, December, it's. Well, after October 16th through the end of the year, it's a yellow period. So like, not, not sweet, sweet green, but it is not red.And it'll, it sounds like a very collective time with that Mars stuff and the election stuff. So stuff is going to be like flying around. Yeah, I think it's going to be a little chaotic. I think it's going to, yeah, between the eclipses and the Mercury retrogrades and everything else. I do think that there's going to be some. And then, overall, this is our last stable year for a while. Not to say it's going to be an easy year, but 2025, 26, 27 is going to be more instability. So this is a great year to really, oops, I just broke a pen, to really ground into or lean into creating stability and using this year to create stability for and prepare and create resilience, build resilience for the future years.Absolutely. And I mean, I don't think that's a bad thing. I think that's a lot of what the hard work looks like is like, what are you, what is it that you want to stand for? Right. And that's part of what you were saying. And I'm, I'm not disagreeing that people need to take a stand. It's just, my gosh, there's so much, there's so much anger and there, which I'm not saying the anger is bad either.God knows, like, I have a temper. It's just. Figure out what your, figure out where your lines in the sand are. Figure, you know how people say, I'm not going to die on that hill. Like, you know, you can plant your flag. I think this is the year people are going to figure out where their flags are going to get planted.Mm, yeah. Yeah, you have to, you have to hold, hold back. You can't, you can't fight for every cause. All the causes are valid, not all of them, but plenty of causes are valid, but, but there's so many of them, right? Like there's so many injustices in the world. There really are. Yeah. And you can't effectively fight for all of them.Yeah. Right. And so what are you going to fight for? Yeah. And where does your family come in on that? Right? Like, how is that like you specifically, one of the reasons that this is your cause is because it's literally on your back doorstep. Yeah. Right. Right. And there's no way that any of us who don't live there can really and truly understand the impact and the fear that comes along with a toxic waste dump being put right next to our home.Yeah, right. Yeah. And obviously that's going to be your cause. Obviously it should be. And I think that a lot of people, instead of looking globally, they are probably going to start looking more like, okay, but what about me and my rights? Like a lot of women are focused on other areas, but in some states like where I live, our rights have been ripped away from us.Like I'm literally like when women have only had credit cards for like five years longer than I've been alive. And I'm looking at some of the rights that are being rolled back and I'm like, might be something I'm interested in because I would like to have a personal autonomy. When I hit 70, you know, and I think that'll be some of the decisions people are making it's like what.Political issues. Are you going to be voting around if you can't vote for all of them because the candidates are so dispersed, right? Like, what is your issue that you're, you know, your thing? This isso good, Robin. Thank you so much for coming on. Obviously go to wickedveracity. com to book a session, but at least get on the email list.Every week Robin puts out a weekly. Email that literally goes day by day of what the energy of the week is going to be, or it's also on your podcast. So you could like, listen, if you're a listener versus, oh, you don't dothat anymore. The podcast is getting relaunched later this month with an astrology thing. And it's not going to have any of my forecast. I'll be talking more about. Okay. So definitely geton the email list. What is your podcast goingto be about then? I'm going to be talking about the way to think about astrology and the way to think about the circumstances because I do get a lot of people who go, Oh, that's really good.Or, Oh, that's really bad. And I'm like, I never said that. I'm not the words that I used. Cause I don't think that any of it's good or bad. I think it's neutral and you get to experience it however you want to. And I'm going to be talking a little bit more about that and how I think about each of the planets and signs and everything.Give people a way of thinking about them. My Instagram, I also put out daily. I hate email. So I never look at email, but I always, I tend to be like, what the fuck is happening today? This feels weird. And then I go look on your Instagram, which is wicked dot veracity. It is. Yeah. And being like, what is happening and seeing if it's similar or not than what I'm experiencing. But thank you, Robin. HAPPY TAURUS SEASON!!!!According to Astrology Zone, the Tauruses of the world have a lot to look forward to this May. And that includes Laura, the pod's very own Taurus birthday gal. Happy birthday to all!!!The episode starts with a recap of Susan Miller's note to her readers. Much of this month's note is devoted to May's difficult full moon lunar eclipse in Scorpio because Susan is concerned about the effects of this event on all the signs. But don't worry–Susan lets us know that she wrote an essay about eclipses that is available on her website! She then moves from astrology to appearances, so next we meet Susan Miller Cinephile, who tells her readers about the film screening she is hosting with her daughter, Chrissie, a New York “It” girl of the mid-aughts.Laura then informs her fellow Tauruses about the great month (well, second half of the month) that awaits them. Jupiter is entering Taurus, so get ready to enter a period of goodness! A better birthday present does not exist. Scorpio can expect a positive latter half of May, too, and Alex lets the Scorps know what's in store this month. The gals end with a discussion of the coronation of Charles III (a Scorpio!) and bemoan the fact that the Royal Family likely does not employ a full-time astrologer. Laura and Alex discuss the following at these timestamps: Note from Susan Miller: 02:25Taurus: 10:29Scorpio: 19:27Share your own thoughts on Susan Miller's Astrology Zone with us by emailing astrologyzoned@gmail.com.Links:Read each episode's transcript at our website: astrologyzoned.comHelp Laura reach the full potential of her Susan Miller legacy by buying her romance novels: http://Lauralovelybooks.comListen to Laura's other podcasts, The Mermaid Podcast and You're Doing Great, at: http://mermaidpodcast.com and http://fairybossmother.comRead Laura's new book THE BREAK UP ARTIST on Audible: https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Break-Up-Artist-Audiobook/B09ZVQDG9V
Spring 2023 Hello, Taurus Season! This episode walks you through the energies that Taurus season offers all of us, in depth. You'll see our Tarot Forecast for Taurus season in its very own episode 30, published the day after this episode. Both of these Taurus episodes will carry you through April 20th - May 21st, 2023. For my Taurus natives (IT ME! My sun is in Taurus) - those with their sun, rising, or moon sign in Taurus...this episode my ring truer or hit deeper. We all have Taurus in our natal chart somewhere, and we are all working with these energies. Along with the sun shifting into Taurus, the current Mercury retrograde is happening in Taurus - so the energies are exaggerated, AND we've got a new moon solar eclipse in Aries, smack in the middle of it all. Energy is going to be big, erratic, and unexpected. Don't say I didn't give you a heads up. Buckle your seat belt, pack extra snacks, assume the trip is going to take longer than planned, and be prepared for the plot twists. It's all medicine for healing. It's all about getting deeper and more connected to what supports and nourishes our long term stability and abundance. Have faith that all the small things do add up, the tiny is mighty for shift and change in this lifetime. If we are open to shift and healing, it will come….slow… still gets to the destination. The words we speak, the actions we take,, the work we listen to, read, create, and circulate, the relationships we keep, the jobs we leave….it all matters. I can't wait to hear what your magic spark is in this episode!! Simply slide into my DM's on Instagram to share with me. I love to hold space for you. For those listening - not - in the northern hemisphere the seasons are different - but the energies of the astrology, the zodiacal season, and channeled guidance - are the same. Take what resonates, and leave the rest. This messaging is for everyone listening. In the northern hemisphere, we are officially in Spring. In general, the seeds you planted last cycle (Aries…or maybe a little before in {Pisces) might be showing signs of sprouting. If not, THAT'S OK. Did you start new things? Did you plant new seeds? Did you take action? Did you initiate or launch something? Anything? This can be a new perspective, a new way of navigating your inner dialogue, emotions, connection with self, or others - Aries is the I am of the wheel - initiating a deeper understanding or who you are is major…and remember Areies begins the energy of the wheel - it doesn't come to fruition there, it begins and has courage to continue. Taurus is the epitome of tending and sowing the fields. It's slow, plodding, and let's be honest - BORING work. This is truly a time of rinse, wash, repeat……or old school ‘it's time to make the donuts.' This is another doing phase. The practice cycle. Success is about finding what works then being able to repeat it with a higher average of consistency. Just. do. The. things. Particularly the boring, basic, human stuck. Check the box. Loyally. Consistently. Get er done. This is what brings the things we started to a point of busting through…growth is here. In Pisces season we were releasing, cleansing and clearing….we are also plotting and planning. Aries season said take that plotting and and planning and BEGIN - do something - take action on the plan..even if it's small, subtle, or internal. Taurus says - keep doing. Keep it boring. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. ←this is what it takes to grow a crop to harvest. It says no one wants to do the boring stuff…but the boring stuff is actually what cultivates results. This cycle asks for the phrase tiny & mighty that I reference a LOT ←nothing more Tauren than this phrase. We get to the basics of how you achieve or manifest anything is how you achieve or manifest everything… in small steps repeated and layered over time, till they're muscle memory and the outcome…you can count on more times than not. Success is about consistency and practice. And yes, you can be successful at outcomes you don't want - simply because you have repeated and mastered the repetition that results in a particular way. Coolest part about being human? We are ridiculously mutable. We are capable of change. Our vessels, our bodies are a beautiful example of this. We can get injured, we are an open system, AND we can heal. When we tend to our vessel in care, bolstering, nurturing, and respect - it responds in kind. When we recruit support we do better. When we explore what works for us, individually and commit to our unique set of parameters and requests that this incarnation offers us…we are truly in co-creatorship and living in all its wild offerings. Why reference the body? Well, one it's some the work I hold space for - wholistic body, mind, and soul revolution…and two - Taurus is the most human of the zodiac wheel - and what makes us human is our vessel….our body…our soul is the magic…so this season will always call us to lean deeper into the care and co-creatorship of our physical vessel…so our soul can expand and shine The sun sits in Taurus April 20th - May 21st 2023 Taurus - The Bull of the chart - As I said, it's also the most human. It wants to know how something actually hit the concrete. It says show me how that makes a difference? Taurus asks “Can I eat it, touch it, taste it, wear it or smell it? Taurus gets pegged as the materialistic of the chart…intrinsically connected to finances….but actually Taurus is the sensualist of the chart. Ruled by Venus - my girl Aphrodite - Taurus truly gets what it means to be human, in a 3D skin suit…that a balance of work and pleasure is very much the point of this earth school - it knows financial resources provide food, water, shelter…that are necessary - it also allows us to explore what if what is necessary was also really pleasurable? Taurus wants cozy fabrics like uber soft cotton, satin, or velvet. Food is its love language. And yes, Taurus does think it can buy its way to happiness - or a solution. Taurus is a work hard rest hard mentality. It doesn't really play…it rests or ENJOYS. It wants to lay on a beach, go shopping, eat well, sleep heavy, or better yet slowly walk and sit in a field sniffing daisies, grazing, resting, enjoying the pleasure of doing nothing. Taurus has a deep need for sex. For both for pleasure and grounding. So weather it's with a consensual partner or on your own….it's a wonderful idea to prioritize sexual pleasure this season as well. In this cycle lean into what is unique and pleasurable -> in a skin suit….there you will find Taurus. But be clear, Taurus can be a workaholic. They are totally willing to put the effort in, to get the reward (cash money) to then invest and spend as they wish on a life they love. This DOES NOT HAVE TO SIGNAL frivolity or overspending….Tauruses seek and knows QUALITY. It wants what it wants, its totally willing to earn and pay for it…and don't you dare question them on where their resources go, unless you're the one paying for something (in time, money, or energy). Taurus is independent energy. They tend to go it alone And Taurus finds pleasure in a job well done. Effort bringing fruition can feel soooo good. The Taurus mantra is I HAVE. Taurus is a fixed earth sign, stable, strong and typically inherently grounded. With a strength that is deep and often formidable. Taurus can generate big manifestations when in balance…willing to meet the Universe more than halfway, knowing at their core they are worthy, clear about wants, desires, and needs…..with heartfelt love frequency for their things…they want and have. Everyone thinks it's high vibrations that cultivate manifestations….but it's really high vibration connected to GROUNDING. If there is no grounding there is nowhere for the magic to take root in this 3 dimensional life. Grounding is truly where the magic is…This season is prime for it. Taurus knows grounding above all else. In Balance Taurus is lovingly loyal for a lifetime. They are the earth parent energy that can and will hold anyone…It's sturdy, grounded, stable, realistic, calm, and they are genuine problem solvers and nurturers….through practicality - these are some serious kitchen witches - herbal, tea, food healing. Taurus is strong and clear with words, actions, and boundaries. They are fierce. They dish out harsh truth and tough love like no other.. It can work their asses off for incredibly long periods of time to get where they need and want to go. Taurus stubbornness in exaltation shows up as the capacity to stick with something, to keep trying…for really long periods of time. What is pegged as obstinance can also be commitment and longevity. Taurus tends to be a slow learner but the time it takes Taurus energy to understand something…. It actually cultivates mastery along the way…once Taurus ‘gets it' it reeeeally knows it and can truly cultivate expertise and mastery. In imbalance Taurus can skew towards being a label whore and in general too - much ness- it has a real hedonistic streak when out of balance. Couch potato, overspending, over indulging in all the things (particularly food or shopping) hello hedonism-, sticking with a career or partner waaaaay longer than was healthy because….#thedevilyouknow …..The obstinance is real. The ultimate Taurus imbalance shows in its stubbornness to be ‘right' and its anger….ever watched a bull fight? Well…if you continually poke or taunt a Taurus you will absolutely get the horns and danger IS coming. Be clear…you will NEVER convince a Taurus native of anything and the more you push a taurus….the harder we resist. Eventually we'll just sit down….ever tried to move a bull? Not Happening. It can out wait ANYONE…and honestly it cultivates sadistic joy in us to flex our capacity to do so. In imbalance…Taurus can be plain ole lazy…mmmhmmm I said what I said. Evvvvverrrrthing can feel like soooo much work ughhhhh - this signals there hasn't been enough rest time. Taurus needs an abundant work/life balance - and that doesn't mean spending or having tons of money, but whatever brings them pleasure and rest MUST be consistently a part of the equation. Again, they are fully willing and able to work hard…then they NEED to enjoy at least a portion of what they earned. Effort and Pleasure. Taurus is the prime of example of one of my teachings…”If you're not tending to your vessel, you're not tending to your magic' Taurus IS THE BODY - IT IS THE VESSEL - Our body is the home of our soul - our body is heaven on earth and when we tend to it with sacred practices - particularly the practical ones like movement and fuel….it rewards us in every way…both seen and unseen. Getting into our body - getting embodied - is a sacred act of connecting to our soul - and therefore a celebration of both our humanity and our divinity. In Taurus and Spring energies we are still burning off the hibernation and hermitting of Winter, in the northern hemisphere…we're also trying to grow up and out of the impulsivity, childishness, and beginnings of Aries season. We're being asked to take the courage of Aries and practice it daily. Taurus energy can feel stagnant and stuck in the mud. Taurus is a fascinating balance - swinging from too much to too little….but in balance and harmony…ooohhhh can it manifest out of consistent effort. Taurus finds magic in the everyday. It's deeply connected to its home, living space…and might just have a hard time leaving it (heyooo me….works from home because I LOOOVE IT, why would I want to be anywhere else?) This is a time of working hard and resting hard. Tauruses are known for their strong and reliable nature. They are practical and responsible individuals who appreciate the finer things in life. They are also known for being stubborn and determined, which can be both a strength and a weakness. And guess who is revealed to be a Sagittarius?! Astrology Zone! It turns out that Susan Miller invented the astrological internet twenty-seven years ago in December. The gals begin the episode by discussing Susan's note to her readers. Like most of 2022's notes, Susan Miller Businesswoman is the star. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CAPRICORN! And Happy New Year to all!!! It's 2022 and Laura and Alex are not only celebrating a year since they followed Susan Miller's advice to create a podcast, but also a wonderful outlook for the year ahead by the woman herself. Susan assures the gals that this year will not resemble 2020 and its twin 2021, and that all the signs have exciting things coming their way, even with both Mercury and Venus in retrograde in January. Needless to say, Laura and Alex are relieved to read and deliver such great news. The gals start the episode by recapping Susan's Note to her readers. As expected, the businesswoman has a few updates, but we also get some great personal details when Susan tells us about spending Christmas with her family. Laura and Alex then tell Capricorn Susan's prediction for a great year ahead, which includes money, career opportunities (listen up, Capricorn actors), and the coveted Cupid fleets. Next, Laura encourages her fellow Tauruses to relax and ease slowly into the new year, and she delivers a cautionary tale (from her personal experience!) about the dangers of Venus in retrograde. Finally Alex relays Susan's predictions for love in 2022 to Scorpio and lets them know when they can expect Venus and Cupid to make things happen. Laura and Alex discuss the following at these timestamps: Note from Susan Miller: 03:36 Capricorn: 11:20 Taurus: 19:24 Scorpio: 33:14 Share your own thoughts on Susan Miller's Astrology Zone with us by emailing astrologyzoned@gmail.com. New Moon in Scorpio, November 4, 2021How's the Scorpio season treating you so far? With the Sun and Mars in Scorpio, and Mercury joining in on November 5th, this is a powerful time for introspection and transformation, as well as taking your resources and finances to a new level. The good news about Mars' finally leaving Libra, and diving deep into Scorpionic energies, is that Mars, the planet of action is strong in Scorpio, strategic, resourceful and unwavering, and I'm glad you're listening right now, because on this New Moon, both the Sun and the Moon are at 12 degrees Scorpio and in exact opposition to Uranus, also in the 12 degrees of the sign opposing Scorpio - Taurus. This is a very challenging aspect for both our emotional and rational minds. Challenging situations may show up out of the blue at home or at a workplace. So it's very important to play it very safe in the days to come, keep your emotions in check, and calmly navigate any sudden challenges that will pop up. This aspect may play out especially challenging for Tauruses, Scorpios, Leos and Aquarius, so decide right now to take it easy and remain calm and humble despite the disruptive nature of surprises you may get. For affordable personal consultations, contact me here: orion.sky@live.com* An accurate time of birth is important for a much more detailed and accurate reading. This is not a good New Moon to plant seeds for projects or dreams, but it's perfect to say goodbye to old patterns, vices, lovers and connections that you know have served their purpose. The eclipse season is almost upon us! And some of you have already started to feel it. From November 19th to December 4th, we will be in what is called “the corridor between eclipses” or the eclipse corridor. It's a weird time that feels like going through a tunnel, and usually brings big changes and new things into our lives. More on the Eclipse Corridor in the next episode coming soon here on “S&Y Astrology Podcast”.So back to this New Moon: people around you might get spontaneous, irritable and unpredictable. Actions taken on this day might be inexplicable, even by people who took them. This period is likely to cause fights and breakups which may last forever, so if you value a connection or a venue, stay kind and patient, or you might lose it forever. If you have some unorthodox ideas that seem genius to you on this New Moon, they will prove more utopian than progressive. Instead, make a list of patterns and vices you want to be done with for good, read it, feel it, and say goodbye. Uranus will help you to make them forever a thing of your past. Take it easy this new moon, play it safe, and remember that this lunar month will have fantastic days when you can make your big moves, that I'll tell you about in the next episodes. I'll talk about the Eclipse Season in the next one, so come back soon.
Come ‘round, ye Feelers! We get into nicknames, witty signage, Tauruses, tech companies that frustrate us on purpose, the county fair, fear of tunnels and Ferris Wheels, corndogs, and a neighbor saga continued. We also talk about literal and metaphorical fences, finding resolution within, strip clubs, the choice to become a parent, and getting back into the workforce after a hiatus. Plus, a hot take on childcare in the advice column and a touch of silky romance. Missing Chris this week, Nicki and Jeff decide to test an internet quiz to see if it can correctly guess their birth order. They talk about a guy who lied about his age and is weirdly sensitive about being paid back. Finally, they delve into some common relationship dealbreakers, featuring Jeff's old man accent.
In this episode, I had a lovely chat with Shana Dewitt, who is a business coach and strategist for women. She especially helps women through transitions, which I felt excited to talk about, because transitions can be difficult, even positive ones, and I don’t think that usually gets enough attention. We talked about preconceived notions about the value of hard work, having the courage to fully step into naming and owning a new role for yourself, and Shana shared some of her favorite prompts for working through limiting beliefs, which made me really happy that our conversation was recorded so I could refer back to it myself. We also found out that we’re both Tauruses who favor both the left and right sides of our brains, which was fun. I think you will enjoy this delightful conversation! Also, next week I’ll be releasing a new resource I’m really excited about - a PDF workbook called Fuel Your Creative Work with Compassionate Productivity - stay tuned for that! TOPICS DISCUSSED IN THIS EPISODE • Support through transitions and all that entails • Shana’s multiple roles and online businesses over the years, including why she left her corporate job • Getting to the root of burnout • Negative money stories that surprised Shana • The harmful assumption that work = results and shifting that attitude • What setting containers and boundaries on time looks like for Shana • How her mindset around being an entrepreneur and stepping into that role helped her, despite inconvenient timing • Shana’s personal spiritual / self-care practices, especially her favorite journaling prompts for shifting mindset, gratitude, and working through fear and limiting beliefs • Thinking of rituals as a left-brained activity and what that structure does for us • The profound effect of tracking moon cycles and menstrual cycles together • Why Shana’s excited about business right now and where she sees opportunity RESOURCES MENTIONED • The Moon is My Calendar New Moon Journal • Ezzie Spencer / Lunar Abundance • The sleep meditation Rebecca mentioned (on Insight Timer) MORE FROM SHANA Website Instagram Be Heard podcast Free mentoring group The Magnetic Entrepreneur MORE FROM REBECCA Coaching for Creative Wellness Free Resource Library Feel-Good Creativity Un-Challenge Show notes available at coachingforcreativewellness.com/podcast

Michelle, Emily and guest (& friend), Jacqui Krawczyk Segura, celebrate the end of Season 1. They review a bottle of Soul CR 2015 while talking about themed parties (e.g. 12th Night, Gin & Croquet, 1970s Birthday Roast) and costume closets. They talk Fashion. Emily shares her mantras: "If it feels like you, it's gonna look like you! If you enjoy it, wear it, own it!" Michelle shares a funny story about yoga pants, a comfy sweatshirt, and paint. Jacqui details her favorite "good morning, pick me up, Mardi Gras" drink. Emily describes her method for sorting her wine collection (which includes a stash of "drink with Michelle wine"). Michelle & Jacqui celebrate that they are both Tauruses even though Jacqui thinks cows are the most treacherous animals on the earth. She shares a personal experience that justifies it as well! All that scary animal talk lead Michelle and Emily to talk about the crazy chainsaw guy at a recent live music show. They all agreed they avoid scary movies. Emily says the only way she'll watch a scary movie is if she knows the spoilers/ending (#theboatsinks). They share tree trimming stories and how they are grateful to be alive. They laugh about their parental failures and all agree there should be a parental statute of limitations. They wrap up the season finale with the sweetest story of how Jacqui met her husband on an army base in Germany in the summer of '89. On Step by Step, J.T. becomes a salesman himself while washing Tauruses at a used car lot. And obviously the Scott Stapp Art of Anarchy song "1,000 Degrees" was written about that episode too.

If you follow us on Twitter, and you should, you may have seen Sophie on there a couple of weeks back expressing her distaste for Taurus men. Well, as it turns out, Rod, Beezy, and Raf are all Tauruses. In this episode of Is The Mic Still On, Sophie, Raf, Beezy, and Rod settle up the discussion they had on Twitter about Tauruses. The conversation picks up from there. Plus, we answer another listener question. If you have a question for us, send us an email: isthemicstillon@gmail.com. Don't be ashamed you tuned in this week to hear about our adventure on The Jerry Springer Show (as audience members, not guests), the reason guilt-free foods don't taste as good, or how awful Japanese television can be. And, go ahead, you can do the Jerry chant right along with us! Listen/subscribe/leave a review on iTunes, Google Play Music, Stitcher, Overcast, or podcatcher of choice! Find us on Snapchat | Twitter | Facebook This episode's wine: 19 Crimes 2015 Red Wine, South Eastern Australia This episode's cheese: Cheddar with Sauteed Onions from Trader Joe's Our wine leads us to realize why the Bangles would have been sentences to Transportation way back when, then we talk about our Classy Little Field Trip to The Jerry Springer Show taping. We told our bosses we had "Jerry Duty," and we completely indulged ourselves in this adventure. The particular episode we went to was the big reveal of Bear Grillz' face -- an EDM DJ who performs in a bear costume. No, really. This is a thing. Of course, we saw cheating, fighting, and lots of name-calling. We do love Jerry Springer, especially his Dad jokes. And he knows his show is a guilty pleasure. Emily found out about the science behind guilty pleasures, and how it's applied to marketing and advertising, including why ads inducing guilt has the opposite effect. A very big thank you to Greg at Debt Shepherd radio for our amazing promo! Now, we're not sure if he would, but unfortunately Jerry Springer cannot run for president. Find out how he went from being on the city council, to stepping down after being involved in a prostitution scandal, to becoming the mayor of Cincinnati and, finally, the host of The Jerry Springer Show for 25 years. And, if he wasn't awesome enough, he has a podcast! We found out some of our listeners' musical guilty pleasures, including finding out who Stryper is -- none of which should be considered a guilty pleasure, according to us. In fact, it's really difficult to find our guilty pleasures since we don't have guilt about liking things like disco, Barry Manilow, and Flavor of Love -- Season 2 is the best because of Becky Buckwild! And, despite the over-dramatic theater people, Emily admits musical theater is one of her guilty pleasures -- and, although her admitting she hates "Rent," nothing will piss off theater people more than James' butchering of "Seasons of Love." We talk about why certain things can be considered guilty pleasures, while other areas of entertainment, like music, might not apply. And James tries to sing, again! He also talks about the term "guilty pleasure" and its use in history, and how it might have more relevant in modern times. Emily finds the top guilty pleasures of zodiac signs, and James goes from skeptical to a believer when Kitty walks down the stairs with Wendy's right as Emily tells James how Capricorns' guilty pleasure is fast food. And find out why the newspaper Emily worked for always had great horoscopes of Tauruses, and why the obituaries were arranged in order or hotness. James talks about reality television, and we find out about Emily's time with the WWE -- not as a wrestler, although she would be Brian Kendrick's valet wherever his future endeavors may have taken him. Emily is shocked to hear about some of the reality television shows around the world, including Susunu! Denpa Shonen -- a show where a man spent a year naked entering magazine sweepstakes. And, for our listeners in Norway, please tell us about (and send DVDs!) of your Slow TV! James and Emily get into a weird conversation about Catholic guilt vs. Protestant "not-much-guilt." (This is one of a part of a series of WORDS TO LIVE BY. This series grew out of a workbook I first made for my young daughters and discussed at the dinner table. These Words include values, good ideas, and Words to aspire to….and learn from….enjoy!) From wikipedia: Laughing is a reaction to certain stimuli. It may ensue from hearing a joke, being tickled, or other stimuli. Most commonly, it is considered a visual expression of a number of positive emotional states, such as joy, mirth, happiness, relief, etc. I picked Laughter as a Word to Live By because, well, we gotta laugh about "it." Think about the best days in your life so far. Was laughter involved? Probably. I think about times with my parents - I often think about laughing at the dinner table - joking and ribbing each other. My mother and I are both Tauruses and she often said we were both stubborn and we'd 'disagree in a fun way'. I'd kid with her and my dad would laugh knowing that only I could get away with it. "Laughter is America's most important export. " Walt Disney I think about joking with my sisters and the typical brother/sister teasing and jokes. I recall laughing with them when I was young - we'd wrestle and I'd try to play tricks on them or tease them as their little brother. I love to watch the outtakes from movies - you know when they show how the actors mess up, bloopers , and the whole crew breaks into spontaneous laughter? I haven't watched the movie for over 20 years but I can still laugh when I think about the outtakes from Smokey and the Bandit for Dom Deluise and Burt Reynolds. (I think that they may be much better than the actual movie!) I love to watch bloopers and those 'funniest home video' type of shows where we can all laugh at the happenings of others. I think about good times in school, high school and college. I really enjoyed a practical joke, although harmless ones, on friends. I remember "setting a locker" of a friend so that when he opened it, a bunch of pop cans fell out, making a large noise and having the whole hallway of high school kids erupt in laughter. I'd sometimes "set lockers" of high school girls with a silly stuffed animal so that they'd scream loudly when they opened it, only to find a cute little stuffed toy. I still laugh now about that stuff and have difficulty stopping. In college, armed with a big roll of shrink wrap, I would wrap someone's dorm room in the clear plastic; TV, pillows, mattress, etc. I'd laugh the whole time and for days after. One guy came in and saw what I'd done and didn't remove it from his mattress for a few days, sleeping in the plastic. When I was and still am with my close friends, it is about laughter. When I started dating my wife, and for years since, we laughed a lot. (I know that I really have her going when I can't hear her - she is a silent laugher.) I recall times when we'd laugh so much our faces and stomachs hurt. We laughed at dumb things we've done, laugh about movies, laugh about life. "Shared laughter is one of the most effective tools for keeping relationships fresh and exciting. All emotional sharing builds strong and lasting relationship bonds, but sharing laughter and play also adds joy, vitality, and resilience. And humor is a powerful and effective way to heal resentments, disagreements, and hurts. Laughter unites people during difficult times." from the article Laughter is the Best Medicine http://www.helpguide.org/life/humor_laughter_health.htm Some of the most enjoyable laughter is from my daughters. When they were young, they laughed at my dad's jokes and tricks. They'd laugh when we'd wrestle. They'd laugh a silly things and things we adults don't think about enough. There is nothing like the unabridged version of a child laughing hard at something - full out. I recall their laughter as I tickled them. We still laugh together as a family often, now my girls are better able to 'dish it out' as much as they can take a joke. We have a quote in my girls' bathroom, something to the effect that a smile is all the makeup that anyone needs. There is nothing better than the laughter that comes deep from your gut, that comes rolling out of your mouth, that laughter that makes you bend over in joy, that makes you laugh until you cry. Like anyone, we've encountered tough financial times, personal losses, and other challenges in life. Laughter makes it so much easier. Laughter releases that pressure and tension. "Laughter is an instant vacation." - Milton Berle I can think of moments that were some of the best, yet worst moments of my life. Perhaps I was sad or depressed or somehow down about something, the tension was tight, and then suddenly, one of us said or did something and we broke into laughter about something and the problem seemed at least a little easier to deal with.....I think we all NEED to laugh often in life. Hearing laughter brings laughter- it is contagious. Here is a site, one of many, with free audio sound bites of laughter. Laugh it up - http://soundbible.com/tags-laughter.html I found a few great resources about laughter. "It is impossible for you to be angry and laugh at the same time. Anger and laughter are mutually exclusive and you have the power to choose either. " Wayne Dyer Want to laugh more? Get a pet… Most of us have experienced the laughter of having a pet, playing with it, watching it grow as a puppy, and pets are a rewarding way to bring more laughter into your home. Simply having a pet is good for your mental and physical health. There are many 'pet therapy' related studies show that pets can protect you depression, stress, and even heart disease. Ideas for laughing more: Make a list of things for which you are grateful for, and what's funny. You need to actually make a physical list, take the time and write it. List good things, funny things. Smile more - it takes less muscles to smile than frown. Studies show that even fake smiles make you feel better over time. Smiling grows to others. Smiling leads to laughing. Spend time with people who laugh - avoid negative people and negative discussions. Do the people you spend time with make you feel upbeat or negative? Ask better questions - ask "what is funny about this situation?" "How can I make someone laugh about this?" "What am I happy about?" or "What makes me laugh?" Look for humor in more situations. Laugh at yourself. Keep things in perspective. Act like a child - at least observe how they can be uninhibited, how they enjoy the moment, how they laugh without pretense. go to your favorite search engine and type in 'bloopers' We need to laugh more and seek stress reducing humor in our everyday lives. Stoner Taurus, the final Spring time period will be a positive time period, even if you may not realize it every moment. Cosmic forces have gathered to bestow upon the stoner Taurus a twinkle of luck in May. This blessing of fortune will be in relation to work and money, but at the very least it will also influence enjoyment of work and coworkers. There will also be evidence of “luck” in the stoner Taurus' love life in the May time period, but this sprinkle of luck may not be so easily recognizable upon first glance. Warning: Be sure to keep your cannabis activism and enjoyment separate from your work sphere in the May time period. Enjoyment of work and your coworkers will lead to a relaxed attitude. Coming together with coworkers and enjoying your work days will be a blessing, but understand the separation of work and play. There will be plenty of time to burn one down with your cannabis companions after the day of work is done. How exciting stoner Taurus! The May time period will bring the opportunity to expand your influence and reward in the workplace. Whether you work for the man and expand your role, or work for yourself and expand your empire; expansion is the key word presented to all stoner Tauruses in May. It is the sphere of love and companionship that becomes the most complex in May stoner Taurus. You will need the full vision of your third eye to gain patience and understanding through cloudy circumstances. Meditative smoke sessions will benefit the stoner Taurus tremendously in this regard. It will be imperative to see the unseen in matters of love and companionship. The sacred herb will help you see through the ambiguity of fake news, and understand the positivity available through truth. There may be a universal bait and switch on your plans with love and companionship. Things may not turn out in any way along the timeline or path you've laid out. Trust and understand that the cosmos is on your side with positivity despite any breaks in your immediate plans. http://stonerhoroscope.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/TaurusMay.mp3 Tweet
