Navigating the Real Estate Shift with with Albie Stasek, Jay Kinder and Special Guest Tina Caul In this episode of the John Kitchens Coach Podcast, we dive into the fast-paced changes in the real estate industry with special guest, Tina Caul. As a veteran real estate expert and coach, Tina offers invaluable insights on adapting to the new landscape. From the latest industry regulations to effective strategies for agents evolving into their CEO roles, Tina and John explore the mindset shifts needed for success in real estate today. Whether you're a seasoned agent or just starting, this conversation will equip you with the tools to thrive in the evolving market. Key Topics Discussed: Agent to CEO CLE Conference – John reminds listeners about the upcoming Agent to CEO event in Cleveland, Ohio. This high-energy event is packed with sessions aimed at helping real estate agents transition from agents to leaders of their own businesses. It will coincide with the Rock and Rescue charity event, featuring performances from artists like Gary LeVox (of Rascal Flatts), Dusty Black, Shane Damas, and a possible surprise guest. Navigating Industry Changes – Tina and John discuss the significant changes happening in real estate, especially with the new industry regulations regarding commission structures. They talk about how these changes are reshaping the traditional agent-buyer relationships and the challenges brokers face when dealing with the shifting dynamics. Mindset Matters: Adapting to Change – Tina emphasizes the importance of maintaining a strong mindset amid industry changes. She candidly shares how even veteran agents like herself face days of doubt. However, staying resilient and focusing on growth is key for those looking to thrive, rather than just survive, in the shifting marketplace. Training and Skills for Success – Tina discusses how her team emphasizes training as a critical foundation for success. She talks about the importance of negotiation skills, knowing how to articulate value to clients, and how agents must now navigate compensation in a way that benefits both them and their clients. Lawsuits and Commission Changes – Both Tina and John predict an influx of lawsuits surrounding the changes to commission structures, as agents try to navigate new regulations. Tina explains how these lawsuits may shape the future of the real estate business, and why it's crucial for agents to adapt their strategies now to stay ahead of legal risks. Dual Agency Discussion – Tina and John touch on the concept of dual agency and its complexities. While Tina occasionally practices dual agency, both hosts agree that it can be fraught with challenges and risks, especially in the context of commission transparency and ensuring that both buyer and seller are adequately represented. Articulating Your Value – A major theme of this episode is the importance of clearly articulating your value as a real estate agent. Tina encourages agents to confidently present their unique value propositions, especially when it comes to commissions, to avoid being undercut by discount agents or brokers offering lower rates. The Future of Real Estate Agents – Tina predicts that many part-time agents will exit the industry within the next two years, especially those who aren't fully invested in growing their skills. However, she's optimistic that the top-performing agents will thrive and potentially see increased earnings as the industry becomes more specialized. Memorable Quotes: Tina Call: "There's no one who can navigate this industry perfectly, because every day brings new challenges. It's all about mindset—no one likes change, but you have to adapt if you want to succeed." John Kitchens: "Articulate your value, or someone else will set your price for you." Tina Call: "We need to treat buyers the way we've always treated sellers—professionally and with a well-thought-out process. It's not about opening doors, it's about offering value." Key Takeaways: Mindset is Key – In the face of constant change, agents need to maintain a strong mindset and embrace new industry trends. Articulate Your Value – As commission structures evolve, it's critical to communicate the value you bring to clients to avoid losing business to discount brokers. Training is Essential – Continued training in negotiation, value articulation, and understanding new regulations is vital for long-term success. Industry Shifts Ahead – The real estate landscape is rapidly changing. Agents who can adapt quickly and navigate the legal and structural changes will have a competitive edge. Look Ahead – The future may see a decline in part-time agents, but this opens opportunities for dedicated professionals to dominate the market. 'Proclaim Liberty' with Clint Armitage (Christian Liberty, Motivation & Leadership)
Life is a highway - Rascal Flatts https://youtu.be/5tXh_MfrMe0 In this episode of the Radio Coffee House, Clint Armitage takes us on a journey down the "highway of life." Using the popular song "Life is a Highway" by Rascal Flatts as an analogy, Clint explores how we can navigate life's twists, turns, and obstacles with faith and trust in God. He emphasizes the importance of understanding how to ride this highway correctly by relying on biblical principles to guide us through the challenges and uncertainties we face. Clint begins by discussing the importance of having a roadmap for life, which for believers is the Bible. He highlights that while being saved gives us a destination, it doesn't automatically equip us with the skills to navigate life's journey. Drawing from the lyrics of "Life is a Highway," Clint illustrates how life's road can be full of unexpected turns, debris, and potential accidents. Yet, with God's guidance, we can minimize damage and continue on our path with confidence and purpose. Throughout the episode, Clint delves into the spiritual aspects of the song's lyrics, connecting them to biblical teachings and personal faith. He encourages listeners to choose how they want to ride their life's highway—whether with fear and doubt or with excitement and trust in God's plan. By changing our mindset and embracing God's sovereignty, we can live a life full of joy, peace, and adventure, even amidst trials and persecution. Clint also references the Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 5, where Jesus provides comfort and reassurance that despite life's hardships, we are blessed and not alone. He underscores the importance of having peace with God to experience the peace of God, and how this peace empowers us to face life's challenges with resilience and hope. Tune in to this episode of the Radio Coffee House to discover how to navigate the highway of life with faith, trust, and a sense of adventure. Learn how to embrace the journey, avoid the pitfalls, and live with the passion and purpose that God has designed for you. ----- 00:00 " Radio coffee house is where Jesus meets coffee meets talk radio 00:19 " Next episode, we're going to talk about life being a highway 03:01 " Clint Armitage: Life is a highway lyrics by rascal flats 08:06 " You have to change your mindset in order to change other things in life 09:16 " Matthew 5:5-7 says circumstances don't define how you experience life 16:11 " Clint Armitage: Step into the path that God has set for you -----

When we’re having a bad week and it seems like everything is going wrong, it’s nice to be able to have one constant to look to—something that never changes, is always reliable and there for us when we need it. This week two men of faith share how God’s love has been that constant in their lives; Grammy award winning country singer from the group Rascal Flatts, Gary LeVox and pastor, speaker, and evangelist—and the personal pastor of Dr. Billy Graham, Dr. Don Wilton. And my life has never been the same again, because the Lord gave to me a fresh purpose and a new meaning, and He changed my life and my perspective forever. And I will forever be grateful to the Lord and the influence of people in my life.” - Dr. Don Wilton “To describe the impact of Mr. Graham on my life is almost impossible for me to do. Mr. Graham didn't just talk to me about how to live. He showed me, up close and personal. I didn't just watch him. I sat with him. I didn't just listen to him. I conversed with him. And we became so close. He enabled me to see my own life in a fresh way. He challenged me at the deepest level of my soul spirit.” - Dr. Don Wilton “The very love with which he [Billy Graham] loved me was in and of itself the greatest reflection of [the way] God loves you, which he said over and over and over again to peoples and nations of every tongue and of every tribe and of every race and of every culture.” - Dr. Don Wilton ________________________ Enjoy watching these additional videos from Jesus Calling YouTube channel: Audio Playlist: https://bit.ly/2PrbuwH Video Playlist: https://bit.ly/2PsmEkJ What’s Good? Days after the Christmas morning bombing in Nashville, Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts gave weight to a conspiracy theory that a missile — not a bomb in an RV — was responsible for the explosion on 2nd avenue. Today's guest called his bluff. Big Rick Daniels hosts the morning show on Korn Country 100.3 in south-central Indiana. He's not a seasoned news journalist, but you wouldn't know it to hear him handle a serious topic with appropriate objectivity. After our conversation about Gary, Rick and I talk about the art of the radio interview and how to avoid a major trap. Then, some thoughts on two country wives who took to social media following the siege on the U.S. Capitol, which was literally happening as Gary and talked to each other. We are meeting with Dustin Black, Founder and CEO of Black Tie Moving. Dustin is no stranger to the moving industry. From the time he was a child, Black worked for his father’s moving company, learning the ins and outs of the industry while also getting a behind the curtain view of exactly who homeowners were trusting their belongings. With eight locations open and 24 new franchise territories under development, Black Tie Moving is rapidly expanding across the nation. Black was not impressed with caliber of movers available to consumers at that time, so rather than following in his dad’s footsteps, he turned his sights on baseball – even gaining a college scholarship before a knee injury sidelined him and removed him from school. After a terrible experience using a moving company that damaged $34,000 of his furniture, Black knew there was a hole to fill in the moving industry. In 2013, he founded Black Tie Moving, a luxury moving and relocation concept, with the goal to create the first professional moving service customers could trust and rely on. Black holds his movers to a higher standard of presentation and professionalism, while offering affordable comprehensive moving services. His company is so successful, it has garnered the interest of several big name celebrities, including Carrie Underwood as a client and Rascal Flatts lead singer, Gary LeVox as a business partner. In Part Two, we play a clip from our popular Great Quotes in Franchising podcast.

Recently we were fortunate enough to land an endorsement from one of our favorite musicians: Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts. You can hear everything Gary had to say in the full endorsement above, but one thing that stood out to us was the connection he made between his music and what we do. “Ever since “I’m Moving On” hit the radio, it’s been very cool hearing from our fans personally how this song helped them get through the hard times. Moving across the street or across the country can be very stressful too. But it doesn’t have to be. You’ve got a great agent right in your backyard who can make it easy and virtually stress-free.”- Gary LeVox “Our team always strives to make things simple and stress-free.” Gary got it absolutely right. For many, that time comes when they sell their home. If you’re moving on, you want a real estate agent who will make selling your home easy and stress-free.” - Gary LeVox “It is our goal to make your transaction a smooth one.” It is always our goal to make your transaction a smooth one. If we can’t sell your home at a price and deadline that we both agree to, we will buy it. Please check out the video above for the complete endorsement.
