The big reveal of Polaco Watch & It's what everyone expected but we get all the details from HK Matt watched NWA's 200th Episode of Powerrr and shares his thoughts as KJG attempted to watch but couldn't get into it. The boys are joined by Northeast Independent Wrestling Legend, "The Maniac" Glen Osbourne. Glen shares with us his insights on his career, the guys he worked with, the impact he had on the wrestling industry and his excitement heading into TWA One and Done & Rasslecon on May 3rd at the 2300 Arena in PhiladelphiaBack from a quick break the boys jump into AEW. As the year winds down, the guys discuss whether 2023 went by too fast or too slowly. Tony and HK kick off the show reconting Labor Day weekend while KJG deals with some browser issues. After Over the Top KJG joins the show and the discussion turns to CM Punk's release and Jack Perry's suspension. The guys bring stories they heard about the situation and discuss what they know. The Wizards are back with another episode covering the world of professional wrestling. After a short open, Matt poses the question, if Ricky Steamboat had a Tag Team Partner, would you rather it be Tito Santana or KoKo B Ware circa 1991. This leads us to the 1990 IC Title Tournament, we know Mr Perfect won beating Tito Santana, but who were the other 6 men in the tournament? We hit Over the Top and cover all the results from the week, before taking about our favorite cold snacks to eat. In dieser Woche steht für Johannes erst einmal die mündliche Abiturprüfung an  - passenderweise im Fach Spanisch.Ab August wird Johannes ständig spanisch sprechen, er fliegt nämlich als Freiwilliger der KjG  nach Bogota/ Kolumbien.Im Rahmen des SDFV (Sozialer Dienst für Frieden und Versöhnung) wird er ein Jahr lang in unserer Partnerorganisation vor Ort leben und arbeiten.Im Podcast erzählt er über die Vorbereitung, wie seine Familie die Entscheidung aufgenommen hat, und wie er die letzten Wochen verbringen wird.

Der Heute-bei-Dir-Prozess im Bistum Aachen beschäftigt uns seit einigen Jahren. Nun erreicht der Prozess einen Meilenstein mit Beschlüssen des Synodalkreises. Diese wurden auf zwei großen Versammlungen ausführlich beraten.Von der KjG waren u.a. Betti und Andreas beteiligt, die als Vertreter*innen für den Verbänderat dabei waren.Andreas berichtet von seinen Eindrücken der Versammlung und der Beschlüsse, die Schwierigkeit des Bistums, einfache Sprache zu benutzen, und stellt Vermutungen an, wie sehr die Beteiligung der KjG im Gesamtprozess Beachtung findet.

Viele KjG-Diözesanleiter*innen landen beruflich später mal im sozialen Bereich. Sie schöpfen aus den Erfahrungen und Kompetenzen, die sie in Jugendverband und in Leitung erfahren haben, halten aber trotzdem noch Kontakt zur KjG.So haben wir in dieser Woche Judith Swoboda zu Gast in Warming Up. Sie war von 2014-2017 ehrenamtliche Diözesanleiterin.Nun ist sie Referentin bei der Young Caritas im Bistum Aachen und erzählt, was sie da so macht. Welche Unterschiede gibt es zur Arbeit der KjG, was sind aktuelle Projekte, aber auch von schönen Erinnerungen an ihre KjG-Zeit berichtet sie.

Nach fünf langen Wochen ist er endlich auch in den USA angelaufen und ein Meisterwerk. Für alle, die ihn noch nicht gesehen haben daher der subtile Tipp im Titel: Ab ins Kino! Von uns aus kann das gerne auch James Bond sein. Die große Leinwand ist und bleibt eben großes Kino. Dort hätte gegebenenfalls Black Widow etwas mehr Spass gemacht. Dominic ist nicht mehr so wild auf Superhelden-Filme, mochte Cruella aber ganz gern. Dirk freut sich schon auf die Eternals und mochte My Name - dessen Titelbild in klein frappierend an Kate erinnert. Foundation wird von Folge zu Folge auf Apple TV+ besser, das Buch immer quälender. Dominic kann sich kaum noch vorstellen, dass er es als Teenager verschlungen hat. Nun gut, wieso Frau Goldberg Furzkissen als Vornamen hat und was ein EGOT ist und wieso die KJG nur noch Gott* oder Gott+ schreiben will? Fast auf den Tag genau ein Jahr lang gibt es nun schon unseren Podcast. Grund genug, zurückzublicken.Joshua und Paul müssen improvisieren und erzählen sich spontan gegenseitig ihre persönlichen Highlights, die sie mit der KjG erlebt haben. 

Seit Anfang Februar 2021 läuft im Bistum Eichstätt der „Strategieprozess“. Die Kirchensteuereinnahmen gehen zurück. Darum möchte man Handlungspakete schnüren. Allerdings: Der Blick geht nach vorne - bisher ohne Beteiligung von Jugendlichen. Das geht gar nicht, sagt die Katholische Junge Gemeinde, kurz KJG, im Bistum Eichstätt. Bernhard Löhlein hat sich mit dem Diözesanvorsitzenden Tim Seidler unterhalten.

Wir spielen "Was du nicht weißt, macht dich nicht heiß!" Drei Kinder treten gegen drei Kinder unserer KJG an und erzählen sich die peinlichsten und lustigsten Geschichten, die die andere Seite eigentlich nie hören sollte. Am Ende gewinnt, wer die bessere Geschichte hat. Es geht um Fliegen in Luftmatratzen, wie man beim Abendprogramm am besten schummelt und wie man ein Klo ordentlich verstopft.

Wie funktioniert eigentlich unsere Winterfreizeit? Warum fahren jüngere und ältere getrennt? Gibt es Unterschiede zur großen Sommerfreizeit, und welche Freizeit ist eigentlich besser? Wieder quatschen Kinder mit Leiter zusammen über unsere KJG.

Joshua lässt uns in seinen Kalender schauen und dort finden sich sehr viele unterschiedliche KjG-Termine.Er ist in vielen Arbeitskreisen aktiv und erzählt uns, wie er KjG, Studium und Privates unter einen Hut bekommt.Musik: Tropic Traveller - Del.

Mia (Jugendreferentin im Jugendhaus Karlsruhe und Referentin für die KjG) erzählt vom Aushalten der Leere und was das, mit dem Karsamstag zu tun hat.

Vor 2000 Jahren wurde in dieser Nacht im Garten Gethsemane ein Mann namens Jesus verhaftet und zum Tode verurteilt. Sein Vergehen? Er behauptete ein König zu sein, suchte aber die Nähe von Armen, Unterdrückten, Leidenden, in Schuld Verstrickten und Ausgestoßenen. Er setzte sich mit Sündern an einen Tisch, wusch ihnen die Füße und erzählte von der Liebe Gottes. Wir Menschen tun uns damals wie heute schwer Jesus und seinen Weg zu verstehen. Wir wollen in dieser Nacht zusammenkommen, um Jesus in den letzten Stunden vor seinem Leiden und Sterben zu begleiten und ihn so näher kennenzulernen. Jesus ist das Licht, das Gott uns verheißen hat. Im Alltag aber fällt es uns schwer, im Licht Jesu zu leben. Wir wollen in der Gemeinschaft nach einem Weg suchen, uns in das Licht Gottes zu stellen. Diesem starken Erleben wollen wir in Stille, Meditation, Gebet und Lobpreis nachspüren.
