Update on our week: Another week together. We start off the conversation with Andy and his purchase of R36S. Andy gives us his thoughts on this retro handheld game console. This console plays NES, SNES, N64, PS1 along with PSP and plenty more. Andy got a deal, but was it worth it? Noel mentioned that a PC software Launchbox is an excellent way to play on your PC. Noel has been gaming and beats an indie game, Never Alone. This game is based in the Alaskan snowy plains. Noel mentioned his new PC in the last recording, but goes into more details in this episode. His new graphics card is a RTX 5080. It was challenging getting this graphics card as it is the newest release and everyone is looking for it. Noel's hope is that this beefy PC will last a few years since it is future proof. Daniel watches an older move in Tropic Thunder. After rewatching this movie, the crew feels that this movie might not have been released now a days. Daniel also watches HBO Max The Fall of Diddy. This documentary brings up some details on the Puff Daddy scandals. The last thing Daniel watched was the Netflix documentary, American Murder Gabby Petito. Netflix goes over the disappearance of Gabby Petito in 2021 and the weird reaction from the boyfriend Brian Laundrie and his parents. What's your suddenly? The prophetic word "suddenly" was spoken over the house of Thread Church during Zach's first year of attending his new church. Senior Lead Pastor Alex Burkins is invited on to testify about all God's done at Thread and his personal life over the last year. Zach shares the suddenly moment of finding out his wife Katherine is pregnant with a baby girl! Can you guess her name? After stories and biblical truths are shared to a live audience at the Launchbox in Fort Worth, Zach opens the floor to two guest speakers both Mario Cedillo, the co-owner of Created Media, and Calvary Church Worship Leader David Euceda! Plus enjoy a spontaneous speaker of the Lord's Goodness! * This was a special episode and we are grateful to Launchbox Collective for hosting us and everyone else who came to support us with their time, ears, hearts, and talents. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Support I Like Birds: Give Merch 21 Days in Africa Patreon ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Check out Thread --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ilikebirds/support

WE BACK! Another collaboration between myself and Pastor Troy Brewer! This time we are in front of a live audience in a beautiful venue in Fort Worth Texas called Launchbox Collective! Pastor Troy and Zach Rippey open up about their deep love for Uganda, Troy drops knowledge about the upcoming lunar eclipse, and the two jokesters can't help but laugh and cut up with the crowd as the stories and deep dives into ministry and King Jesus unfold. We also dive DEEP into Marriage! One of the best convos about marriage I've ever had on the pod! The big takeaway of the night was JESUS IS THE ONE ON THE THRONE! Find peace in that and rest in that reality as 2024 moves along! We did a LIVE Q&A with Pastor Troy and the questions asked were super interesting! Tune in now! SUBSCRIBE TO THE YOUTUBE! 019 | Dan Negroni Shares The Myth on Millennials On the show this week, we have Dan Negroni who is the founder of LaunchBox. Dan has built his business predicated upon connecting innovative youth with age-old experience, or in other words, bridging the gap between the generations. Dan believes that instead of pushing kids into college we need to teach them what life is all about, ie. building relationships. It isn’t about selling, it’s about trusting relationships where you can provide value to others. It’s about how young people can learn to frame their words, their mindset, and their approach. Right now, Dan believes we do an awful job of teaching this in traditional education, but we don’t have to! We can teach kids that it takes time to harness their power and build their mindset. Rushing into anything isn’t necessary! To start any journey it’s important to learn about yourself. You need to become comfortable with what you’re asking of others and know it will provide value to them in some way. We are all incredibly powerful in our ability to influence people. Dan tells us what the best way to help others is, and as well as how to learn what our master skill set is! If you’re ready to dig deep and find your true passion, then you don’t want to miss this episode. Enjoy, thank you for listening and tuning into Success Unfiltered! Be sure to join us next week for our next new episode! Learn how to bounce back, improve, and get back out there with my free guide: “Surviving Business Rejections: 3 Ways To Turn A No Into A Win.” Check it out HERE! Here are a few key secrets we talked about in this episode: Michelle introduces Dan Negroni. Dan shares what he and his company call Millennials. Dan claims he’s allergic to the word NO, and he explains why. “It’s just thinking selling is providing value to the person.” In order to come to terms with the word NO, Dan has done a lot of deep work; meditation, staying in gratitude, framing how he asks questions and focusing on the value he’ll provide. To Dan a NO means not now, or NO, thank you, it’s not a fit for them. It’s not a NO to what he’s doing or saying or trying to provide to the other person. Dan believes that we’re doing a crappy job of teaching young people how to harness their power in traditional education. Being authentic and present is an important way to become comfortable with asking someone to buy something. Dan feels that you must understand your relationship with yourself before anything else. Dan’s innate skill is to be bold and speak the truth. You must be genuinely interested in other people and ask great questions to learn more about them. Dan hates the word selling and prefers to call it relationship building. Dan shares his most accomplished NO, the one that changed the trajectory of his business. Dan first retired at age 34, and shares his story. Dan shares tips on how to learn things in life quicker. Dan shares what he would tell his younger self.
