With J3 taking a short summer break at the moment, it seemed like the ideal time to record our latest J-Talk: Short Corner J3 Special for 2025! In this August edition, Jon Steele was joined by long-suffering Gifu supporter, groundhopper extraordinaire, and J3 expert Richy Palmer for a look at the current state of the third tier.

We continue our series in the book of Matthew and look at Jesus' invitation to pick up our crosses and follow him. This week's discussion questions are below: Discussion Questions: 1. Peter rebukes Jesus for predicting his death. Why do you think Peter reacted so strongly? Have you ever resisted God's plan because it didn't match your expectations? 2. Jesus calls Peter a “stumbling block.” In what ways can our good intentions actually hinder the work of God in our lives or others? J3. esus says we must deny ourselves and take up our cross. What does that mean in practical terms in your daily life—relationships, work, time, priorities? 4. Dallas Willard talks about carrying a cross as “cutting us off from normal human existence.” What parts of your “normal” life do you find hard to let go of? What do you want more than becoming like Jesus? 5. Jesus warns that it's possible to gain the whole world and still forfeit your soul. What does “gaining the world” look like today? 6. Jesus says some would see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom. How does understanding the resurrection and ascension as the beginning of Jesus' reign shape the way you live today? 7. How does the image of Jesus as the King who dies for his people challenge our assumptions about power, success, and leadership? 8. What would it look like this week for you to live as a disciple who's taken up their cross? Is there something you need to lay down, or something you need to take up

2023年はY.S.C.C.

In this classic episode the UOR team talks with the film makers from J3 films about their documentary Extraordinary: The Stan Romanek Story, regarding their focus on Stan Romanek's claims of alien abduction and targeting by dark forces to keep him quiet. This is a highly controversial show in retrospect due to the fact that after this documentary film was released, Stan was convicted of having child pornography on his computer, along with claims that he faked evidence. Stan's case has been completely dismissed by the UFO community. However, a few people feel that Stan was targeted and discredited by those same dark forces who finally silenced him permanently. Regardless of where you may stand regarding Stan's ultimate guilt or innocence, the film makers take an unbiased approach to the subject matter and what they discovered while making the documentary film before Stan was charged and convicted. It's worth watching so that you can make up your own mind.Original Air Date: April 21, 2014Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/paranormal-uk-radio-network--4541473/support.
With the new J2 season hurtling into view at the weekend, the JTET crew finish off their 2025 season preview with five more teams covered in depth. James and Jon get things underway by running the rule over newly-relegated Tosu (Start to 09:20), followed by Yamaguchi (09:20 to 19:15), and then Oita (19:15 to 29:00). The boys then welcome special guest Chikashi Toyoshima (co-creator of the ViviCast) to give us the lowdown on hotly-tipped Nagasaki (29:00 to 39:20). After that, friend of the pod Garry Irwin brings up the rear with his thoughts on the campaign ahead for his beloved Kumamoto (39:20 to 50:30). Finally, Jon and James reconvene to take a quick look at the Round 1 fixtures coming up on Saturday and Sunday (50:30 to Finish). This segment also includes a big JTET welcome to Victor Arroyo, who has gallantly agreed to take over at host of the J3-centric 'Short Corner' mini-pod for 2025! We hope everyone enjoys the show, and the big kick-off this weekend! *We asked Chikashi and Garry to respond to these hard-hitting questions in their previews: 1) Please tell us about your team's transfer activity over the winter break (major players coming in, major players going out). 2) Who will be your team's key player in 2025? 3) What do you think of your team's manager? 4) Where do you think your team will finish in the 2025 table (head and heart)? 5) Which team in J2 do you think is going to surprise people this season (could be your team or any other, could be a positive or negative surprise)? *Join The J-Talk Podcast Patreon here: https://patreon.com/jtalkpod *Join our JLeague Chat Discord server here: https://discord.gg/p6PVbF9E *Follow JTET on Bluesky here: @jtalket.bsky.social
