Liam's Map is the sire of Grade 1 winners Basin, Hopeful S. (G1) and Arkansas Derby (G1), Colonel Liam, back-to-back editions of thePegasus World Cup Turf (G1) and Turf Classic S. (G1), Wicked Whisper, Frizette S. (G1) and Juju's Map, Alcibiades S. (G1).Not only do these top-level successes rank Liam's Map among the best young sires, it puts him alongside some of America's top stallions in history. Both Basin and Wicked Whisper hail from the first-crop of Liam's Map and since 1983, just eight other first-crop stallions have sired two Grade 1 winners, with only Danzig and Uncle Mo having sired both Grade 1 fillies and colts. An elite group of just five other stallions have sired winners of both the G1 Frizette and the G1 Hopeful—A.P. Indy, Storm Cat, Mr. Prospector, Bold Ruler, and Nasrullah. His success continued in 2024 with MGSWs Roses for Debra, Deterministic and Starting Over. Roses for Debra went on to top the Keeneland November Sale selling for $2,400,000. He saw 40 $150,000+ yearling sales, with a top price of $700,000.An $800,000 Keeneland September yearling, Liam's Map is out of the stakes-winning Trippi mare Miss Macy Sue, and is a half-brother to graded winner Not This Time and black-type winner Taylor S. Liam's Map's pedigree carries only one cross of Northern Dancer in the sixth generation, so his pedigree will be an ideal outcross for mares inbred to Northern Dancer. Since Liam's Map's pedigree largely consists of horses bred by or based on pedigrees of horses bred by John Nerud, it should also be beneficial to emphasize female families associated with Nerud other than Aspidistra.(UPDATED FEB 1, 2025)

Another year, another Drewbearded podcast episode. What can I say? I like to have some friendly voices return every year, and Drew is one of those. Normally, with a Drewbearded episode, you'd get us talking about Twitch and the latest videogames that Drew had been playing. NOT THIS TIME! Drew talks about his return to the stage, and specifically community theater. Drew talks about his history in theater, from Orlando to the bright lights of New York City. He talks about his break from the stage, and his time on Twitch. Eventually, the desire to return to the stage was strong enough to pull him back in. Drew talks about his experiences in his return, from the auditioning to rehearsal, navigating his experience being older and wiser, and what he's looking forward to in the future. He talks about his first show back, Big Fish, and his show he was in rehearsal for during the recording (Into the Woods, since completed its run). Maybe Drew's story will light that passion for you to try theater, or maybe go back to something you love and had set aside. Want to watch or find Drew? Her ability to transcend tragedy and prevail after heartache are defining characteristics apparent in each of her endeavors. However, her personal journey took a dark turn after she was allegedly stalked and sexually assaulted by a private investigator. “Covid Fear Porn” returns. Biden seeks more funding for the NEXT VACCINE and to start wearing the mask again! NOT THIS TIME! Lockdowns at home returning? NOT THIS TIME! Dr. ‘Mengele' Fauci is appearing in the center of a medical fraud, conspiring with the pharmaceutical industry, the World Health Organization, Wuhan Lab and this Democrat Administration. Perpetration of indoctrination is evidencing itself nationwide. Biden's lies are distracting us from the wrongdoing fostered by ‘deep state' Democrat lawyers. Every Democrat presidential nominee since 1976 went to law school. Most every Republican government leader was not. The Republican Party is made up of real people doing real work, who are often the targets of Democrat lawyers. VERY INTERESTING. The Republicans better wake up! The Democrat Party and their ‘lawyering' of this nation has run us into gridlock. At the same time, we now need a Constitutional lawyer to help us understand the legal merits of the charges against Trump. Who's bringing charges against Trump? Who's orchestrating the timing of this up to an election!? … Democrat DA's, who ran for office promising to ‘get Trump'. The legal system is running this nation…not common sense. We're drowning in the Marxist laws the Democrat Party has created. Today....right NOW....is a great OPPORTUNITY to take massive action towards your goals and make another CHANGE! The reason many people aren't successful when they begin to make changes in their life is because they go from 0 to 60 mph with their goals. The DESIRE is there, The PASSION is there, but that MOMENTUM quickly burns out because that pace isn't sustainable. The key to making sustainable change is to take it slow. You go slow to go fast. Meaning when you slowly stack your NEW habits on top of each other you are building a solid foundation of skills and abilities that you didn't have before. The difference is those new skills are now built into your DNA, they are HABITS, they are subconscious. A good quote to remember is, "We are what we repeatedly do" Aristotle. What does it look like to stack a HABIT? Hydration is always a great place to start because most of us don't drink enough water in a day. Now, let's build the habit! Each night before you go to bed fill a 1-liter water bottle up and put it on your nightstand. Then make a COMMITMENT to yourself that you will drink that entire water bottle before you leave your bedroom for the next 30 days. You can track each day in your journal and be accountable to yourself. When you make a promise to yourself and keep it you will feel more confident building on top of that habit. Remember, your journey is unique to you and there will be days where you negotiate with your mind to NOT drink the water. You'll tell yourself...I don't want to, I'm so tired, I'm not even thirsty, and that is the self-sabotage kicking in, but you have been there before. NOT THIS TIME! This is the last time you give up on yourself! On the hard days I want you to tell your mind, "Stop, I'm drinking my water" "We aren't talking about that today". Don't worry, we all talk to ourselves whether you realize it or not. It's time to narrate your story differently! CHALLENGE! When you get up each day make a COMMITMENT to making your bed every day without fail. There is a substantial mental health benefit to making your bed each day. You'll feel more Accomplished Reduced Anxiety Better Sleep Improved Focus Higher Productivity Empowered
It starts slowly.. Just a little less energy for the commitments you made to yourself. The closer you get to reaching the goal, the more it feels like you are moving through molasses.. Then you miss a step.. Like my "breaking the chain" event yesterday… This is what self-sabotage looks like.. I always thought it was this big event where your life just blows up.. Not so… it is the subtle killer of dreams… NOT THIS TIME! I know I am meant for more. I know this is the time. So I shout out NOT THIS TIME! No more drifting for me! I have my guiding star, my purpose. And I will not allow myself to sabotage that! #notthistime #determination #purpose #selfsabotage #thirdpowerlife --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/thirdpowerlife/support

Timestamps and links follow—please LIKE, COMMENT, and SUBSCRIBE! 3:10 Recapping the Pegasus World Cup race of speedballs Life is Good and returning champ Knicks Go. In the end, were they playing Quien Es Mas Macho? NBC's Replay here: https://youtu.be/KE3v7gRVHZk 6:16 Stiletto Boy is still Trixie's SHOW BABY! Bragging rights are important in races of such predictability that there were no cash winnings : ) 7:59 Some other players were also not-thrilled with the day's payouts at Gulfstream. Weej WON the Pick 6 and still lost, because the odds were so short! We discuss how huge takeouts and carryovers drain the joy for winner$ and make bitter bettors. 11:15 Still, we can't ignore the races while a Pick 6 is live! For us, Pegasus Day proved conversational, but not very profitable. 12:25 (Seriously, how lucky a star was Ja Rule born under?!) 13:34 We had more fun with the Houston Racing Festival and Sam Houston's friendlier venue and 12% takeout. https://www.shrp.com/events/detail/houston-racing-festival Q: What is Chalk or a Chalky Horse in racing lingo? A: Chalk refers to a race's favorite by odds or a horse with short/low odds, meaning wagers will earn lesser payouts upon winning. Q: What is the Take-out in horse racing? A: The take-out varies by track and is the percentage of all bets collected off-the-top as a fee to the track for holding and administrating the race. 15:43 We enjoyed the Houston Ladies Classic G3 ($300k) with Pauline's Pearl and Audrey's Time, but also the J.B. Connally Turf Cup ($200k), where we got to see our first ever DEAD HEAT between Another Mystery and Fantasioso (who may meet again at the Elkhorn at Keeneland in April)! A VERY exciting and strange development! Q: What happens when a horse race is ruled a Dead Heat? A: Very rarely, after a “photo finish,” the race stewards still cannot determine one official winner during their inquiry. Therefore, the contenders are each recorded as official winners, and wagers pay out to multiple winners accordingly. 23:22 We review the Kentucky Derby Prep races for the first weekend in February, including the Withers G3 at Aquaduct, the Holy Bull G3 at Gulfstream, and the Robert B. Lewis G3 at Santa Anita. 23:53 Among the Withers' 11 horses, we both like Courvoisier and Cooke Creek. Trixie possibly adds Early Voting out of Gun Runner and is curious about Gilded Age. 27:30 Among the Holy Bull's 9 horses, Weej likes Mo Donegal best, plus Tiz the Bomb, and Giant Game, especially valuing the Breeders Cup history. Trixie likes MoD and TiztB too, but is also monitoring Eloquist out of Nyquist and especially Simplification of out Not This Time, a sire whose progeny are starting to roar. 33:00 Shoould the Robert B. Lewis G3 be renamed the Robert B. Baffert stakes? How many horses will he have in there?! We love Slow Down Andy (of course!) from Nyquist and like Messier of Empire Maker. What is the deal with this race and Santa Anita's tiny fields of late? We have been preparing a ginormous podcast summarizing some of the colorful characters, outrageous defenses, conflicted loyalties, and strange happenings related to the federal trial of disgraced (and just convicted!) veterinarian Dr. Seth Fishman. That's our very next episode, so stay tuned! OUR CREDO: We love making jokes, but love

So-called Maiden races are filled with horses seeking their first wins. 1:10 Introduction to the Lecomte (G3), to be run at 1 & 1/16 miles on the dirt for 3 year-olds with a purse of $200k.The Silverbulletday Stakes is held for 3 y.o. fillies at a distance of 1mile and 70 yards with a $150k purse. 2:42 Recapping Trixie's love/hate relationship with Midnight Bourbon, a previous winner of this race. (Will Call Me Midnight follow suit?) 4:00 Record and analysis of Post Position 1, Surfer Dude. Color Trixie unconvinced. 4:35 Is PP2, Unified Report, rising enough to compete here? 5:23 PP3, Pappacap is a huge story this season. Under “Jersey Joe” Bravo, is he apt to get stuck on the rail? (Bravo left Monmouth in NJ for Cali last year—was it the crop rule issue?) 6:50 Weej explains the 2021 Monmouth crop rule and recaps last summer's hullabaloo over it. 11:03 HISA (the Horseracing Safety and Integrity Act, being drafted now) will have to deal with complex issues like this uniformly to be useful. 11:42 Pappacap's been stuck behin Corniche twice. 12:40 In PP4, Trafalgar has Trixie's and Weej's interest as a possible up-and-comer. 14:38 In PP5 will be Assmussen-trained Epicenter, a kid of Not This Time, with a recent, exciting win in the Gun Runner Stakes for futurities (2 year-olds who all became 3 on New Year's Day). 15:30 Analyzing Cyberknife, a recent maiden trained by Brad Cox, in PP6. 16:43 Blue Kentucky in PP7 could surprise, but is currently a toss for Trixie and Weej. 17:07 Call Me Midnight, in PP8, also raises questions. 18:00 Finally in PP9, Presidential will need to make a big step up to contend with this company. 19:13 Weej loves Epicenter here with interest in a couple more. 20:56 Onto the Silverbulletday Stakes analysis. Only 6 horses! 21:12 In Post Postion 1 is Fannie and Freddie, who just placed in the Untapable stakes for futurities. 22:52 Bernabreezy, who seems very promising, is in PP2. 23:38 PP3 is Miss Chamita, a maiden at Indiana Grand, who Weej finds a curious choice for this race and company. 25:05 Skipping ahead a bit to the very-exciting La Crete (PP5), sibling of Clairiere, who won this race in 2021. 25:40 Back to PP4, Pletcher's horse, Sweet as Pie, to be ridden by Giroux. 26:16 Returning to the fantastic prospect La Crete. 28:20 Candy Raid is the last filly, in PP6, and a bit of a question mark. 29:18 Weej describes what Claiming Races are and what seeing them in a horse's record can signify. 31:07 Besides the excellent La Crete, Weej and Trixie give their other faves for this race. 33:46 Young horses mature A LOT on their way to the Derby, and we will be able to SEE it over the next several months in their bodies and demeanors. Normally when we say “greatest idea ever” it's an ironic setup to a laugh at a silly idea. NOT THIS TIME. KJ has suggested something genuinely exciting, seriously, and here it is: If there's someone you know whose life story or reminiscences you'd love to capture, we can help. We thought mainly of elderly parents or relatives, but who knows? We'd do a video or audio interview, do a basic edit, and then send it to you. We wouldn't publish it as an episode unless that was something you (and the subject) wanted. Listen to the episode for more about how we imagine this working. Also listen for great listener mail , RJ's psychic skepticism, and a rousing walkthrough of “9 to 5”, which none of the Dogs have seen. And get in touch if you would like us to talk to a loved one about their lives.LInks: Shed Dogs; how psychics work; James Randi; Peter Reveen; buy low, sell high; 9 to 5 (the movie).Theme music by Voodoo Jazz!
Words we never thought we would say: Susan Collins: Conservative Flame Thrower! Senator Collins from Maine is usually the weakest link on the GOP Seante Chain. Seattle is paying an ex-pimp $150,000 a year to act as the city's "street czar" and offer "alternatives to policing" after protests morphed into the no-police-allowed Capitol Hill Occupied Protest.Activist Andre Taylor is open about his past as a pimp (he appeared in the documentary "American Pimp") and is working with the city of Seattle through his nonprofit, Not This Time. Taylor says he started Not This Time after his brother Che Taylor was killed by Seattle police in 2016.Taylor was a critic of the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest and appeared on "Hannity" to support the father of a 19-year-old Black man who was shot and killed in the CHOP zone in June.Join your host Sean Reynolds, owner of Summit Properties NW and Reynolds & Kline Appraisal as he takes a look at this developing topic.
Over The Hump is a weekly beer and bike mash-up: a Beer Thing, a Bike Thing, and a Bonus Thing. Cranking out banter and no canned laughter to propel you over the hump and to the weekend. In this episode: - Get the Most from Harvest Hosts - Wheels on the Bike But Not Yet on the Dirt - It's Just Beer! Not This Time...
Look, we all know that having a morning routine can be a complete game changer, but sometimes we add too much too quick and set ourselves up for failure. Would You Like Your Advertising Agency And TV Commercial On The Front Page Of The New York Times? Not This Executive Creative Director. Not This Time.Let's just start with 1988's The New York Times headline:Cigarette Maker Cuts Off Agency That Made Smoking-Ban TV AdsPatrick Peduto was the ECD and I was the Management Supervisor on Saatchi's Northwest Airlines account. We were just doing our jobs, even super well, when unbeknownst to us, RJR Nabisco simply got pissed off at one of our Northwest Airlines commercials.More show notes about this story including the New York Times story about our no smoking TV commercial are on peterlevitan.com.A nice thing for me… Feedspot has already recognized Advertising Stories as being a top 15 advertising podcast.
Seattle Mayor Jenny A. Durkan says the trauma of systemic racism is real and has inflicted pain on the African American community for generations. She tells host Joni Balter, "If we don't acknowledge that deep, deep truth about our country and its systems, we can't begin to heal." That healing process inched forward as protest leaders met with the Mayor to share concerns about policing and inclusion on the community police commission. Mayor Durkan also agreed it's time to review police crowd control tactics. One of those meeting with the Mayor was Andre Taylor, Executive Director of the racial justice organization Not This Time! But Taylor did not come with a list of demands. He says the current problems are much bigger than the Mayor. He encouraged Black people to stand up, realize their own power and genius and get things done. Taylor also encouraged, what he called, his "White allies" to use their passion and privilege to infiltrate their own communities and work for change.

And now for a discussion of a b-side that isn’t discussed much (not even by Kate herself!!). It’s not even on her most recent boxset … Continue reading S05E17 – Not This Time

NOT THIS TIME! is a grassroots movement that evolved from the killing of Mr. Che Andre Taylor by the Seattle Police Department on February 21, 2016.Andre Taylor (Che's brother) and his wife Dove founded NOT THIS TIME shortly after Che's death, to engage with local community members, the families of those who have lost their loved ones to police shootings, and those who work inside the system, to demand more police accountability and safer communities.NOT THIS TIME works with a large and diverse coalition of Native Tribes, Black Churches, Asian Pacific Islander groups, Latino Organizations, and people with disabilities to reform policing in Washington State. It has garnered the support of U.S. Senator Patty Murray, U.S. Congressman Adam Smith, Seattle Mayor Ed Murray and many others working to create more just laws in Seattle, King County, and Washington State. Organizational allies include the Seattle Community Police Commission, the Black Law Enforcement Association of Washington, the King County Office of Law Enforcement Oversight, and the Washington Joint Task Force on the Deadly Use of Force in Community Policing. The communities we serve, especially African-American, are disproportionately affected by fatal police shootings. In the decade from 2005 and 2014, over 200 people were killed by the police in Washington State. The exact number killed is not known, because Washington State, like almost all other states in the US, does not maintain an official statewide record of officer involved shootings. please visit notthistime.global
Politics, politics, politics...The show get's the complaint all the time from the fans because they hammer on the same topics all the time. NOT THIS TIME! Mark took the cue and decided to bring in famed St. Louis Chef Rob Connoley of St. Louis' own Squatters Cafe/Bulrush to come in and discuss the culinary arts. They discuss how he made the jump from his previous job into being a chef, plus what living in New Orleans and New Mexico taught him about life and food. Rob is also quite the politically motivated individual and this brings around a conversation about Roy Moore, the embattled Alabama senate hopeful, who is dealing with allegations about dating and molesting underage girls back in his earlier career. But that doesn't stop President Donald Trump from sticking his foot in his mouth again and deciding to team up with Moore to try and help him ensure victory. Should the President do this? What can Rob infuse with Salmon to make a delicious winter treat taste amazing? All this and more is discussed on the new Q!
Tommy Stinson put Bash & Pop on hold for just over two decades before reviving it last year, but the Minneapolis group's raucous, delightfully unhinged energy remains intact because, as the onetime Replacement says, “I'm not pretending to be anything other than what I am.” Stinson and the band run through five cuts from their 2017 LP Anything Could Happen and tell the story of why the band came back together after the Replacements' brief reunion to DJ Kevin Cole in this session where, at moments, it really feels like anything could happen. Recorded 2/28/2017 - 5 songs: Not This Time, On The Rocks, Bad News, Anything Can Happen, Anybody ElseSupport the show: https://www.kexp.org/donateSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

We’re proud to present the new issue from DISCOPOLIS. It’s Twenty Fifteen and it will be your guide to the upcoming year. As you know we’ve been working on a new different taste since our Summer 2013 release so you’ll still have the classic Nu Disco within the first mix but the future Deep House within the second one. THE NU MIX starts with one of the artist of our beloved Duke Dumont’s label Blasé Boys Club, ‘Go Deep’ by Jax Jones, who was featured on Duke’s previous hit ‘I Got U’. We have Bondax’s tropical vibes with ‘All I See’, one of the Nu Disco tracks of the Summer. The 2 Bears (Joe Goddard & Raf Rundell) are about to release their new album and we need to show you how it’s gonna sound so you can find their new fabulous single ‘Not This Time’ here (which has a excellent video too, check it out). It’s important to highlight one of the songs of the past season, ‘Colourblind’ by Les Loups, a classy but catchy track. James Curds brings classic sounds from House and he remixes ‘Whenever’ by Hotlane and presents his new track ‘Say The Words To You’ for those who love late 90s house basslines. Then we’ll go back to 80s with The Young Punx & Louis La Roche and the retouch Mitch Murder made for Kiesza’s ‘Hideaway’. At the end of the mix the sounds get relaxed again with Walter Sobcek x Oxford, the amazing remix Yathzel made for Pekin Duk’s ‘High’, Keljet for Ji Nilsson’s ‘Heartbreakfree’, one of the best tracks of the year and the remixer to watch, Kygo, retouching Ed Sheeran’s ‘I See Fire’. THE FUTURE MIX is for being played very loud with the best Hi-Fi System you have in your house. Chase & Status produced the first track, ‘Your Love’ by Moko and when you hear it you will know the 90s have never died. But this is only the beginning because with the second one we’re going even harder. As we said before, we loooove Blasé Boys Club and its headman Duke Dumont so here you are the banger ‘Won’t Look Back’. If this song is not the first one of the mix it’s only because you couldn’t be ready without warming up. You will find some old friends like Blonde, Kiesza again but this time remixed by Billon, Gorgon City with ‘Unmissable’, The Magician with ‘Sunlight’, MØ remixed by Kant or Le Youth & Javeon’s ‘Feel Your Love’. But if the only thing you want to do is get crazy with the maddest basslines then check ’90’s Baby’ by Redlight, ‘You Got To’ by the legend guys Groove Armada, the remix Grant Nelson made for Sam Smith’s ‘I’m Not The Only One’ or one of the acts who was featured in our first release back in 2009, Treasure Fingers teaming up with Bosco with the smash ‘Names’. Don’t miss up Kulkid, one of the artists to watch this year. He touches Coolio’s ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ and turns it into a golden dancefloor track. But he’s not the only one doing magic with his remixes, Nico & Vinz’s ‘Am I Wrong’ gets revisited by TS7 (with free download from his Soundcloud page) and bring us the best possible finale. THE NU MIX JAX JONES - Go Deep BONDAX - All I See TOMAS BARFOD feat. NINA K - Busy Baby (Oliver Nelson Remix) THE 2 BEARS - Not This Time GOLDEN COAST - Break My Fall (Rainer + Grimm Remix) CHARLI XCX - Boom Clap (Aeroplane Remix) THE SUBS feat. THE FUTURE MIX MOKO - Your Love DUKE DUMONT - Won’t Look Back BLONDE feat. CHARLI TAFT - Higher Ground BANKS - Drowning (Prince Club Vocal Mix) REDLIGHT - 9TS (90s Baby) CAZZETTE feat. THE HIGH - Sleepless (Club Edit) GROOVE ARMADA - You Got To (GA Edit) SAM SMITH - I'm Not the Only One (Grant Nelson Remix) KIESZA - Giant In My Heart (Billon Remix) SHIFT K3Y - I Know (Extended Mix) GORGON CITY feat.
