Join us for an enlightening conversation with Dr. Kirk Pomper, the driving force behind Kentucky State University's pioneering Paw Paw Research Program. As the world's only full-time initiative dedicated to this remarkable fruit, Dr. Pomper brings a wealth of knowledge and passion, tracing his journey from exploring various food crops to championing pawpaws, thanks to the visionary Brett Calloway. We navigate the potential of pawpaw as a transformative alternative crop for small farmers in Kentucky, while also tackling the unique challenges of making this fruit a staple in homes across America. Dr. Pomper takes us on a journey through the complexities of pawpaw processing, from the intricacies of pulp extraction to innovative storage solutions. As we compare the pawpaw to its fruity cousin, the persimmon, we unravel the market challenges both face and the exciting possibilities for value-added products like pawpaw smoothies and jams. We learn about efforts to extend the fruit's shelf life through controlled atmosphere storage, ensuring pawpaws reach new markets far and wide. Our discussion culminates in the fascinating world of pawpaw pollination and cultivar research. Dr. Pomper sheds light on the intricate pollination strategies of pawpaw trees, emphasizing the critical role of cross-pollination and the importance of planting diverse varieties. We also highlight Kentucky State University's endeavors to promote pawpaw awareness, including the upcoming Fifth International Pawpaw Conference and annual Pawpaw Day celebrations. Will God answer your prayer if you don't end with, "In Jesus' name, Amen?" Learn what praying in the name of Jesus really means. I taught this week on the call of Abraham and the development of God's missionary call through the nation of Israel as they were responsible to communicate the truth of God to the cultures around them. They were given that great commission. The great commission didn't start in Matthew 28. It started with Abraham in Genesis 12 —the first three verses there —Abraham, chosen by God to raise up a nation who would then be God's priests to the world so that they would be a blessing to all of the nations. They had a unique role in the great monotheistic religion. The Jews were supposed to reflect morality to the world. Israel was to witness to the name of God. When they talked about the name of God and witnessing to God's name, that does not mean that they were to let everybody know what they called God, "Yahweh." Their goal wasn't to cover the countryside with evangelists who just let everybody know what the right word for God was. It meant something different. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ https://linktr.ee/jacksonlibon --------------------------------------------------- #face #instagram #amour #take #couple #garden #tiktok #psychology #beyou #near #love #foryou #money #ForYouPizza #fyp #irobot #theend #pups #TikToker #couplegoals #famille #relation #doudou #youtube #twitter #tiktokers #love #reeĺs #shorts #instagood #follow #like #ouy #oyu #babyshark #lilnasx #girl #happybirthday #movie #nbayoungboy #deviance #autotrader #trading #khan #academy #carter #carguru #ancestry #accords #abc #news #bts #cbs #huru #bluebook #socialmedia #whatsapp #music #google #photography #memes #marketing #india #followforfollowback #likeforlikes #a #insta #fashion #k #trending #digitalmarketing #covid #o #snapchat #socialmediamarketing

« L'amour s'adresse à notre part d'inconnu, explique le psychanalyste Patrick Lambouley.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------https://linktr.ee/jacksonlibon---------------------------------------------------------------------------------#facebook #instagram #youtube #twitter #tiktok #love #instagood #follow #like #socialmedia #whatsapp #music #google #photography #memes #marketing #india #followforfollowback #likeforlikes #a #insta #fashion #k #trending #digitalmarketing #covid #o #snapchat #socialmediamarketing #bhfyp

Project management platforms are as varied as the users and processes behind them and definitely not a one-size-fits-all. That's why episode 70 of The Positively Living Podcast is the first in a series of episodes helping you choose the best one for you. Today we ask if ClickUp is right for you!In this episode of The Positively Living Podcast, my guest Layla Pomper is sharing the importance of first understanding how your brain works best and the actionable steps you can take right now to set up your project management platform in a way that works for YOU. Layla and I cover the following topics:How it's crucial to determine your process before your platform and the order of setting your systems up for success. Questioning your business practices in order to ditch outdated systems and adopt more intentional processes. Reframing intentionality into “familiarity” in order to remain open to exploring new systems and processes in your business. How to know if you are drawn to more flexible or more rigid project management systems (or if you require one that meets in the middle). Using ClickUp templates to gain familiarity and comfortability with the platform and then adjusting towards a flow that works best for you and your team.  The 2 list approach that will get you to a million-dollar business. Understanding your process is the number one factor in creating a platform that works best for you.Thank you for listening! Our guest today is Steve Pomper. Steve is an author, freelance writer, and retired Seattle police officer. During his career, he served as a field training officer, on the Community Police Team, and as a mountain bike patrol coordinator. He has written several books, and his latest title is “The Obama Gang: How Barack Obama, through his post-presidency foundation, assembled, launched, and wages the new assault on American law enforcement”. 1) Before we dive into your new book...my favorite line on your website is: “What's the Most Government Can Do for Me? The Least Government Can Do for Me.” That is a very Libertarian stance. You have also been a Law Enforcement Officer. There are more than a few people who would say that those are competing mindsets. For you, how do those two things mesh together? 2) Let's talk about your book, “The Obama Gang”. 3) Tell us about your article in LifeZette, titled “Is the FBI Misreporting Data About Legal Gun Owners Stopping Active Shooters?” 4) Back in November you wrote an article titled, “Cops' Free Speech Rights: Like Walking Through a Minefield—Barefoot—On Crushed Glass”. And, recently, Nate Sylvester an ID police officer made a comical video pretending to ask LeBron James if it was ok to stop a knife fight. That officer was fired for making a funny TikToc video. Can you expound on what you wrote in your article?

QUOTES 08:17 "With the pledge and they call it the reimagining pledge, they've got 4 things they want people to do. They have the mayor promise to review the use of force, and then engage people, the community, they mean get anecdotes from people in the community." 08:40 "Then to report back within 90 days and then, I love this one the last one, and then go and reform your use of force policies. There's nothing about if you find that there's a problem, then go ahead and reform. No, it's not that." 08:56 "Talking to the police. That's not one of the things that they want people to do. So this is all done without police input. And I'm finding that trend in a lot of the research we did for the book." 13:53 "They would have you get up and go against the wall if you believe more in one thing than another. They wouldn't let you sit down or stay sitting down if you didn't believe in it either. It was like you had to choose and everything was gearing you towards a left response." 18:06 "It's not a grassroots organization or movement against the police. This is organized from political, I wouldn't even say political opponents anymore, they're political enemies. They want to destroy the police." ----------------------------- SUMMARY In this episode of the National Police Association Podcast, Sgt. Betsy Smith interviews Steve Pomper, author of "The Obama Gang", retired Seattle police officer, and NPA contributor. The Obama Foundation and the political left have been engaging in anti-police rhetoric and perpetuate it through the many layers of the foundation. Defunding the police is not a grassroots movement but rather an organized plot. One manifestation is that police reimagining training is actually just political indoctrination in disguise. ------------------------------ HIGHLIGHTS 00:24 Writing "The Obama Gang" 07:07 Reimagining police happens without any police input 14:21 Police reimagining training is political indoctrination 17:59 Anti-police rhetoric is organized by political enemies ------------------------------ RESOURCES National Police Association

In late 1945, George Orwell prophesied that atomic bombs, instead of blowing the world to pieces, are more likely to put an end to large-scale wars at the cost of prolonging a “peace that is no peace.” This view of strategic stability has survived the Cold War and just got a new lease on life as Russia and the United States prolonged the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty, barely a week before its expiration. But the debate whether the nukes are the main threat, or the main provider of peace is still as explosive as ever. To explore this, Oksana is joined by Miles Pomper, senior fellow at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.

This episode of Clause 8 features an interview with Brian Pomper of the Innovation Alliance. Thomas Edison, the Wright Brothers, and Charles Goodyear are some of America’s best-known innovators. Instead of just making and selling the final products, they obtained patents and licensed their innovations to manufacturers. American companies like IBM, Qualcomm, and Dolby have followed this great American tradition of focusing on innovation. However, the patent troll narrative has undermined the idea that innovators should be incentivized and rewarded for their efforts. A string of Supreme Court decisions and the passage of the American Invents Act were part of an effort to deal with the so-called “patent troll” problem. Around the time that the AIA was being debated in Congress, a diverse group of technology companies that focus on research and development formed the Innovation Alliance to educate DC policymakers. And, Brian – a registered patent attorney who worked for several years on Capitol Hill - became the executive director of Innovation Alliance shortly after it was started. During this episode, Brian discusses: • working in Congress and how he became the head of The Innovation Alliance; • the #1 way to improve the patent system; • what unites the Innovation Alliance; • how the Innovation Alliance tried to improve the AIA; • the Obama administration’s continued efforts to restrict patent rights; • how DC became more patent friendly; • the Senate IP subcommittee and why there’s still hope for legislative action to fix patent eligibility; • importance of having grassroots support for legislative efforts; • the impact that the Covid-19 pandemic is having on the patent policy debate and the Open Covid Pledge; and • much more!

Gardner Pomper was president and co-founder of Games Computers Play. Games Computers Play was almost certainly the first graphical online service (except for maybe PLATO, depending on how you're counting). It was devoted exclusively to interactive, multi-player games, and it was only for Atari computers. You probably didn't get a chance to use Games Computers Play -- it only managed to get about 1,000 subscribers at its peak. But you may have seen the colorful, enticing advertisement that they ran in the Atari magazines, or read the article about the service in Antic magazine.A word about the source code mentioned in the interview: they haven’t found it yet, but they believe they have it and are still looking. we’ll let you know here if and when they uncover it.This interview took place January 28, 2015 over Skype.LINKSAntic Magazine article about GCPGames Computers Play Magazine adAtariAge discussion about GCP

At a public seminar in Washington, DC, hosted by CNS on July 17, 2009, German Federal Foreign Office Minister of State, Gernot Erler reviewed Germany's disarmament and nonproliferation policies and introduced a major study by CNS entitled Four Emerging Issues in Arms Control, Disarmament, and Nonproliferation: Opportunities for German Leadership. The study, written by CNS senior staff members Dennis M. Gormley, Patricia M. Lewis, Miles A. Pomper, Lawrence Scheinman, Stephen I. Schwartz, Nikolai N. Sokov, and Leonard S. Spector, addresses four issues whose management will be essential to advancing disarmament and nonproliferation objectives and identifies initiatives where Germany can contribute significantly to this process.
