The market calls it “Goldilocks.” Not too hot, not too cold. I call it “Never be a dick for a tick.”That's how you survive this racket. Everyone obsesses over decimals while the system quietly breaks and remakes itself. The models are wrong, the Fed's neutral rate misplaced, and shelter data a bad joke.Markets have music. Sometimes off key, sometimes perfect pitch. Beethoven wrote his best symphonies when he couldn't hear. Euler saw math more clearly after he went blind. My best trades happen when I stop staring and listen. Markets are sound before they're numbers.Then someone messages me: “Copper, all the way.” I laugh. NVIDIA doesn't need a century of copper. The chips use little. The heavy copper is in data centers, transformers, cables feeding the AI gods. One megawatt of data power needs twenty-seven tons. There's a story there, but not the one the hype merchants sell.Copper is pregnant in expectation. It mirrors the world's mood and that mood is uncertainty. The charts show past booms and fatigue. The next leg will come from real demand, from grids and wires that make the world hum.Gold refuses to fade. I mocked it before, but I'm giving it credit. Maybe this rise is necessary, the price to end mercantilist misery. China's citizens buy stablecoins and gold to escape the red cabbage trap. They know seven cabbage for a dollar is a steal.America sits on 262 million troy ounces. At ten thousand an ounce, that's 2.5 trillion in fiscal firepower. While everyone says “Rome is falling,” they're wrong. This isn't the fall of America; it's the fall of Chinese communism.Russia produces forty percent of global palladium, quiet leverage no one mentions. Even Trump treads carefully. When distributing books and asking donations for something other than that related to the book, one may become nauseous after some time, because there's no challenge to that, and it's also kind of off-point. We are not begging for money. We don't need their money. And I, I personally feel that it's best to be ultra-straightforward with people, and when you are, then you have more potency. I like to tell people, 'We don't need the money. It's for you to give. It's your penance. It's your tapasya to give something so you can read the book; otherwise, you won't be able to understand it.' That's so stark, and sort of the last thing they expected. Because with beggars, they're always trying to make up some excuse why it's a good idea and why we really need the money. And then they're in the power position to give or not give. But when you tell them, 'I don't need your money. This is for you to donate so you can get the sukriti in order to understand the book. Otherwise, you won't be able to understand it.' I like that better. Years ago, I heard about this devotee in Russia who gave everyone complete free will. He would tell people, 'You know, you can give for the book or not give for the book, and I'm still going to give it to you.' And he really meant it. He didn't do it as a technique, and then he gave them freedom to do it, so they're using their free will to give or not give, not trying to trick him, or say, 'Oh, it's for starving babies or something like that.' Who are you won't give for a baby? When he gave them free will like that, he said it was amazing how much spiritual power he experienced. He said, 'Some people didn't give, but then other people gave way more.' And then I started doing it myself, it's a much more exhilarating experience. Like Putin, Donald Trump is determined to hide from the people. He's promising that a taxpayer-funded FBI–run by MAGA troll Kash Patel–will “secure” the next election. The MAGA cult plans to steal it, again. And with Republican gerrymandering, bot farms from Russia to China, and Elon Musk's Twitter turned into a disinformation landfill, he just might pull it off. When one person stands up to lies or oppression, others can become emboldened to do the same. On this classic episode of ID the Future, neurosurgeon Michael Egnor discusses his article about Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. Solzhenitsyn, the great Soviet dissident and recipient of the Nobel Prize in Literature, penned the short essay "Live Not By Lies" in 1974, just before he was arrested and exiled from Russia. It was his advice, or even strategy, for living under totalitarianism. Solzhenitsyn's basic advice is simply not to participate with lies, and to refuse to speak what one does not believe. It's unnervingly relevant counsel to us in America today, where “cancel culture” and other silencing tactics, long foreshadowed in the intelligent design debate, are spreading to the broader culture. As Egnor relates, sometimes it takes a single person to stand firm before others will do the same. "There are orders of magnitude more of us than of them," Egnor says. "That is people who feel as we do: who support academic freedom, who support human dignity, who support freedom of speech and freedom of religion...the only way they control us, the only way they oppress us, is with our cooperation." Today, ‘Soldier F' a former member of the Parachute Regiment has been found not guilty of murdering two people on Bloody Sunday in Northern Ireland in 1972. The judge, Patrick Lynch, found that the evidence presented fell “well short” of what was needed for a conviction. However, he said that members of the Parachute Regiment had shot dead unarmed civilians and that those involved should “hang their heads in shame”.
