The Pal's X Graham Scott Fleming Episode 222 While beginning to craft his unique sound in the country genre, Graham found an incredible career in Broadway, landing the lead role of Charlie in “Kinky Boots,” and working directly with Cindy Lauper. He soon moved to NYC to fully emerge himself in his broadway career, which led to an international tour with “Hair” and performing at the Tony Awards. Growing up in Elmvale, ON, Graham would have no idea when he won a local singing contest in high school that music and performance would become such an internal part of his life. Following his Broadway run, Graham returned home in 2020 and continued to pursue a solo career in the genre that raised him. After earning a Top 40 single at country radio as an independent artist with the release of “Better Man,” he signed a record deal with Open Road Recordings and RGK Entertainment in 2022. Today on Too Opinionated, we talk with singer-songwriter H. Jack Williams! You'd be hard-pressed to find a life, a career, or a body of work quite like that of singer/songwriter/performer/composer H. Jack Williams. Jack himself credits equal parts luck, talent, and tenacity. “My whole life, I've gone out and gotten stuff done,” he says. “I think I have unique emotional connections within me, and I've always found a way to make that connection musically.” But for one of Nashville's hardest-working songwriters and most in-demand co-writers – and now with flourishing work in film and television – it's been a one-of-a-kind 40+ year ride with some of the biggest names in Folk, Rock, and Country. And in many ways, he's just getting started. Raised in the tiny town of Eureka, Florida, Williams began writing songs shortly after his 1971 discharge from the US Marines Force Recon. It was while working in Atlanta as a trained Escoffier chef and moonlighting as a roadie that Williams went after his first break by knocking on Richie Havens' hotel room door. “Banged on it all night long,” Jack laughs, “until he opened the door and I handed him a cassette.” The Woodstock icon invited Jack to New York City to be his opening act, eventually playing on and producing the demo that got Jack a $500 advance from Clive Davis (who insisted on first playing Jack the demo of ‘Mandy'). By 1974, Jack was back cooking in Atlanta when he spotted a tour bus belonging to The Who. Still, in his chef whites, Williams approached the road crew and boldly asked for an introduction to Roger Daltrey. “I knew Roger loved songwriters,” Jack says, “and Pete Townsend knew songs.” Williams was ushered backstage that night and spent the next few months on tour with the band, eventually signing a deal – his first – with the publishing company owned by Daltrey, Townsend, and Who manager Bill Curbishley. For two years and dozens of unmentionable road stories, Jack was mentored by one of the greatest acts in rock history. Towards the end of his Who deal, Williams got a phone call from Ken Hensley, lead vocalist and primary songwriter of UK proto-metal rockers Uriah Heep, who invited Jack to move to London as the band's first outside in-house songwriter. Jack jumped at the invite, and amid opening UK shows for Havens and demo sessions with neighbors like Alvin Lee and George Harrison, Uriah Heep would record four of Jack's songs for the Gold albums Innocent Victim and Firefly. But it was a group of fellow small-town Florida boys that triggered the next chapter of Jack's career. “Lynyrd Skynyrd came to London for their Knebworth concert”, Jack explains. “I got to know the band, played Ronnie Van Zant some of my songs, and he suggested I come to Florida and be part of the Southern Rock scene.” Williams moved back to the states, founding the Sarasota-based band Streets Of Ice, landing cuts with acts like Blackfoot and Molly Hatchet, and writing with Gregg Allman. Dickie Betts became a good friend and began producing the Streets Of Ice project. But when the band imploded just before signing their major label deal, Betts suggested that Jack's songwriting skills could find a full-time home in Nashville. With a $50 loan and a one-way bus ticket, Williams landed in Nashville and signed a publishing deal with The Oak Ridge Boys, who soon recorded Jack's songs ‘Seasons' and ‘Everybody Wins'. Jack then had his first major hit, co-writing – with The Allman Brothers Band's Warren Haynes – Gregg Allman's ‘Just Before The Bullets Fly. But when the mid-‘90s Country Boom began to fade, Williams returned to his culinary background, opening restaurants in North Carolina, Memphis, and Olympia, running kitchen teams on research vessels in the Aleutian Islands and the Azores, and with supply ships during the Gulf War for which he earned a Medal of Bravery from President Bush. “I'd also played clubs in Seattle, which is how Leonard Chess signed me to a writing deal with Chess Records,” Jack adds with a laugh. “So I guess we can add ‘Blues Artist' to the list, too.” Williams returned to Nashville in 2005, owning a catering business while landing cuts with artists that included Montgomery Gentry, Black Stone Cherry, and on the Miracles From Heaven soundtrack. He signed a new publishing deal with Lynn Gann Music Enterprises in 2015, scoring even more cuts that included Canadian artist Aaron Pritchett's Top 10 hit ‘Dirt Road In ‘Em'. “When it comes to commercial radio stuff, I can write like a gunfighter,” Jack says. “But at a certain point, I couldn't write another line about drinking beer in the back of a truck with a girl. I needed to find the soul of my music again.” Jack began writing songs reflective of his lifetime of not only struggles but his continued sense of hope. He would soon – in more ways than one – find his voice. “Pete Townsend once told me, ‘Always hire a great singer',” Jack explains. “I never believed my vocals were strong, which is why I always used other singers for my demos. But I began participating in singer/songwriter nights here in Nashville and got the kind of reaction I'd never received before. When I started to sing what's in my heart, everything began to change.” Williams soon began co-writing with Academy Award winner Kevin Costner, whose band Kevin Costner & Modern West had recorded two of Jack's songs (including the Top 20 hit ‘Love Shine'), leading Costner to cut four more Jack tracks for his 2019 Tales From Yellowstone album. Jack signed with Anthem Entertainment for additional film & television work and has since collaborated with award-winning Welsh composer John Hardy. And after nearly five decades of music and adventure fit for a dozen lives, his 2020 emotional gut-punch EP Already Dead – produced by Brothers Osborne's Adam Box – became H. Jack Williams' first-ever solo release. “I feel like a 20-year-old singer/songwriter again,” Jack says, with the combination of fortitude and poignancy that still defines his life, his career, and his very best work to come. “I'm a survivor, and I keep pushing forward. I believe that my A-game has just begun.” Want to watch: YouTube Meisterkhan Pod (Please Subscribe)

We continue with an amazing episode of our series “3 Chord Truths”, where we have been talking to songwriters and musicians, and have been able to sit down with some very interesting personalities, with cool backstories that reveal what it takes to follow the dream of being a success in the music business. Tonight's guest is Jack Williams. He has an amazing story that spans many years, and shows that tenacity, talent, and some luck can help create some amazing opportunities. Jack's list of friends and acquaintances, people he has worked for and with reads as a who's who from different types of music genres. The Who, Ritchie Havens, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Uriah Heap, the Allman Brothers, Kevin Costner, and many many more are part of Jack's incredible story. He recounts many of the meetings, and fun he had, as well as some of the sacrifice and pain in the choices he had to make. Jack continues to be involved in writing music and works with a variety of artists, as well as putting out a new album of his own, titled “Halfway to Hell”. We found Jack to be very down to earth, and thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with him very much. We know you will find Jacks story as interesting and inspiring as we do. Halfway To Hell BIO: “When I was a kid, I thought I was the only one going through what I went through,” H. Jack Williams says. “Music always helped me connect emotionally. But there's still a lot of abused kids turned damaged adults in the world today, and I hope this album let's them know they're not alone.” For Williams (his friends know him as Jack), it's a characteristically candid statement from the veteran-songwriter-turned-recording-artist who's experiencing one of the most surprising second acts in music. And with his debut album Halfway To Hell, Jack Williams now delivers a sonically startling testament to trauma and survival that sounds – and stings – like no other. The 10-songs on Halfway To Hell are all co-written by Williams – with the exception of his haunting take on the standard ‘What A Wonderful World' – including two co-written with Kevin Costner and directly address Jack's broken past and road to recovery. “I'm not afraid to say how horrific my childhood was,” Jack says. “I've had huge anger issues, drug issues, everything issues, and I'm not afraid to confront any of that darkness in these songs.” With producer Adam Box shaping Jack's graveled vocals into an American Recordings-meets-Nine Inch Nails soundscape, Halfway To Hell simmers with menace, growls in defiance and shimmers with strength. “I've been in the music business since '71,” Williams explains. “So many people still in this game at my age are jaded and bitter, but my heart is still intact. This album is who I am.” To truly understand Williams' personal journey is to also recognize an unprecedented 50+-year odyssey through Folk, Rock, Southern Rock, Country and beyond. A U.S. Marines Force Recon veteran and trained Escoffier chef, Jack's one-of-a-kind career includes being mentored by Richie Havens; a ‘70s publishing deal with The Who; as the first in-house songwriter for UK rockers Uriah Heep; landing ‘80s cuts with Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot and Gregg Allman, for whom he co-wrote the hit ‘Just Before The Bullets Fly'; numerous ‘90s tracks for The Oak Ridge Boys; running kitchen teams on research vessels in the Aleutian Islands and Azores as well as supply ships during the Gulf War, for which he earned a Medal of Bravery from President Bush; ‘00s Nashville cuts on the Miracles From Heaven soundtrack and with artists that include Montgomery Gentry, Black Stone Cherry and a Top Ten hit for Canadian artist Aaron Pritchett. Eventually, Jack's patience for the current scene came to an end. “Three years ago, I was done,” he says. “I didn't want to write any more ‘back of my pickup truck' bullshit. I figured I've had a pretty good career; it's time to go fishing. But when I started to write and sing what was in my heart, everything began to change.” In more ways than one, Williams had finally found his voice. Always self-conscious of his ragged vocals, Jack started performing new material at Nashville singer/songwriter nights to widespread industry acclaim. He soon got a call from Academy Award winner Kevin Costner, whose band Kevin Costner & Modern West would record two of Jack's songs – including the Top 20 hit ‘Love Shine' – and cut four more Jack tracks for 2019's top-selling Tales From Yellowstone album. Williams was also approached by producer and longtime Brothers Osborne drummer Adam Box to capture Jack's new direction on record, with the resulting 2020 EP Already Dead leading Film Daily to declare, “Jack Williams is a musical legend.” “People are starving for genuine delivery, and Jack is the real deal,” says producer/programmer/engineer/co-writer Box, who compares William's unconventional vocal quality to that of Leonard Cohen and Dylan. “His voice is so unique, and anything he sings is sung with conviction. We started this album with lyrics and a blank slate, then approached each track visually. Sometimes the beauty of the song is in the contrast, like with ‘Wonderful World', but it all comes back to tone. I see this album as a montage of shapes and textures, like cutting up construction paper to make collages. Ultimately, it's an authentic expression of Jack.”
This week, Shilo is chatting with Aaron Pritchett. They chat about how hard it is to stay in the music business for as long as he has, his home renovation skills, his sons following him into the music business, and his struggles with learning Spanish. Farewell Town was formed in Halifax, Nova Scotia while playing first as a backing band for emerging local country artists on the East Coast of Canada. They have gone on to play with country artists all over the nation such as Chris Buck Band, JoJo Mason, Aaron Pritchett, Andy Bast and Ben Chase. Since then, the four session musicians have combined their uplifting talent and passion for music to form the power-house country-rock band, now known as Farewell Town. With Michael Lloyd's compelling vocals and dynamic guitar playing, Shaky White's low-end groove and harmonies along with Jordan LeBlanc's pristine guitar skills and Scott Musgrave's impeccable timing, Farewell Town always provides an impactful show leaving fans wanting more. In early March 2020, Farewell Town hit the studio with producer Andy Bast in New Brunswick to write and record their debut EP. Released to Canadian Country Radio in April of 2021, "Let's Be Crazy" is Farewell Town's first single release from their upcoming debut EP. "When writing "Let's Be Crazy" we went back to a time and place where there were no cell phones or a city for miles — and to have a crazy good time all we needed was to get in the truck, pop in a cassette, pick someone up and go for a drive!" The song was written by members Michael and Shaky along with Andy Bast and Mathieu LeBlanc.

What a week! The Canucks crapped the bed but we didn't. As always our show is presented on the Dean Blundell Network. We were quite fortunate to have country music star Aaron Pritchett on the show and that guy did not disappoint. He knows hockey, probably better than most people you know. We got into his love of the team, distaste for the reverse retro jerseys and his promise to help turn the Canucks around. The MicroLab headphones were given away so listen in to find the winner and we also set up things to give away another pair of SummerSkates slides. Aaron got down and dirty with us for Dudes and Guys presented by Players Choice Sportscards and he brought the heat! He gave us the low down on what he was doing during COVID and when to expect new music. A must listen, what a fun time!
I'm joined by Juno nominee, CCMA winner, and one of the main fixtures in Canadian country music, Aaron Pritchett to talk about his love of the Vancouver Canucks, playing for the Canucks alumni, and how playing hockey translated into the importance of teamwork when touring. You can check out Aaron's music wherever you listen to your tunes! Rate and subscribe to this show wherever you listen to your podcasts! Born April 21st, the youngest of three boys, Colin Amey hails from Dunnville, Ontario but spent most of his childhood in Whitehorse, where the cold Canadian Yukon did nothing to cool his driving passion to be a singer and songwriter. At a young and early age, Colin's early influences came from listening to the radio and watching the hits on MuchMusic, where the performances of Bryan Adams and Bruce Springsteen inspired his young heart. In the small town of Marmora, Ontario, at the Country Fair, three-year-old Colin Amey won Second Prize in the Annual Junior Talent Show, giving a heartfelt rendition of 'Delta Dawn'. He continued to enter local and regional talent competitions, usually placing first, hands down. When the family moved and settled back in Ontario, Colin began a stretch of singing demos and jingles in a small studio, then released his first single in 1988, a pop power ballad “Gonna Last Foreve”, with a video to follow that received national airplay. The stage was set, and he began writing material to record his first CD, released a few singles that received some airplay and started on his way to being hooked on songwriting. Colin eventually teamed up with the legendary Barry Brown (formerly of Family Brown) to collaborate on his second album, gaining radio recognition with two singles that included the title track 'What My Heart Don't Know' and 'If I Didn't Call It Love'.This radio awareness of his career garnered Colin two nominations that included Independent Male Artist and Rising Star at the Canadian Country Music Awards.Looking for new direction, Colin moved into the Greater Toronto Area, and began collaborating with Thomas Wade, Jamie Warren and also with Brian Allen who co-penned the hit song, 'What About Love' for the American Rock band, Heart. Colin continued to co-write with the likes of Dean McTaggart, known for penning the hit song, 'Birmingham' performed by Amanda Marshall, and songwriter Tim Taylor, who's written many hits with and for the likes of Aaron Pritchett, Gord Bamford & The Road Hammers, just to name a few. The year 2006, brought the release of his third album 'Getaway' produced by award winning producer, Rick Hutt, with credits for his work with Tom Cochrane, Northern Pikes, Gil Grande, and Jamie Warren. The "Getaway" record spawned half a dozen radio singles, including the title track, which was added on medium rotation at many major market radio stations nation wide. Over time, Colin continued writing with good friend, Thomas Wade and sang on numerous demos and recording projects, which eventually led to the formation of "Wade Amey Wade." In November 2011, they released the Christmas single, "I Can't Wait for Christmas" and donated all download sales to the Sean Hogan's Christmas Wish. In 2012, when Wade Amey Wade disbanded, Colin was free to pursue his solo career once again. In 2013, Colin released a 5 song EP, entitled "Just Do What You Do" which included a remake of the mid 80s hit from Kim Mitchell, "Go For A Soda" which coincided with a video released to Youtube. Over the past several years, Amey has been releasing singles to radio and iTunes, including "Sunday Drive, Drinkin' Time”, “A Million Tears Ago”, and “Welcome To the World" which happens to be a very personal song about the very day his daughter, Ryleigh was born. With the current global pandemic, like many other artists, Colin is performing online shows on Facebook Live, and currently gearing up to release a brand new single cowritten with Hamilton guitarist and band mate, Darren Lachance. The track is entitled “Life Goes By” and will be going to radio in early July of 2020. https://colinamey.ca/https://www.facebook.com/ColinDAmeyhttps://www.allmusic.com/artist/colin-amey-mn0001936210https://twitter.com/colinamey1?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthorhttps://www.instagram.com/colinamey1/?hl=enhttps://music.apple.com/us/artist/colin-amey/83934322https://open.spotify.com/artist/67irjD3ABHK8fvIqnr4Ugp

Aaron Pritchett’s legacy continues to be unstoppable. His authentic desire to connect with his fans, whether it be onstage, via his digital platforms, in person or through his music, has sustained and grown a robust and loyal fan base for well over a decade. Artistically, Aaron Pritchett continues to adapt, and evolve, while refusing to abandon the down-home sincerity in his music that has been his trademark since his career inception. Pritchett has charted anthems like “Dirt Road In Em, “Let’s Get Rowdy,” “Hold My Beer (Certified GOLD),” and also appealed to the softer side with powerful hits like “Done You Wrong,” and his recent top 5 smash - “When A Momma’s Boy Meets A Daddy’s Girl.” “Country Music always appealed to my soul because the songs tackled subject matter that may have been taboo for other formats and told REAL stories about REAL people. Those stories were a lot like mine. I was going fishing, camping, and riding buses to hockey tournaments in even smaller towns than the one I grew up in, life was a lot more country than rock and roll. That feeling resonated with me and I strive to convey that in my music to this day”. “The Score” released shortly after Aaron Pritchett opened multiple SOLD OUT shows for Garth Brooks, hit the market on June 24th, 2016 and debuted at #1 Canadian on the country charts. The first single “Dirt Road In ‘Em” broke industry paradigms by landing inside the top #10 on the country radio singles chart, marking Aaron’s first return to the Top 10 in over 8 years. The sophomore single, “Out Of The Blue” scored a top 15 spot at radio in November 2016, and the aforementioned “When A Momma’s Boy Meets A Daddy’s Girl,” landed at #5 on the Canadian country singles chart and was the #1 most played Canadian track – as well! Recently, the industry has caught on to what the fans have always known – which is that Aaron Pritchett belongs in the pantheon of Canada’s most elite artists. In 2017, Pritchett was welcomed back to the nomination circles with a Juno nom for Country Album of the Year, as well as multiple CCMA Award nominations, including Male Artist of the Year! The Eskimos home opener is this Friday, and we were lucky enough to be joined by Eskie all-star, Justin Sorensen. Justin and Matt face off in an epic country music trivia battle and he helps us out for another edition of "Don't Blow It For Everyone". Plus, we hear from Aaron Pritchett about his big wedding crash he had last weekend.
In a short period of time, Dave Hartney has racked up an impressive list of accomplishments for a new Country artist. He has opened for the likes of Dallas Smith, High Valley, Tebey, Black Jack Billy, Aaron Pritchett, Dierks Bentley, Jerrod Neimann, Thompson Square, and many more. He has played renowned events including Sunfest, Rockin’ River Musicfest, Merritt Mountain Musicfest, The Cloverdale Rodeo, the 2010 Olympics, and at numerous fundraisers, like Gone Country. Dave’s live show is sure to impress and win over new fans. Dave grew up in North Vancouver, and re-connected with a childhood love of country music while attending the University of Saskatchewan. There, he frequently visited live music bars and watched artists passing through town, including a young Dierks Bentley performing at the campus bar. Dave began to write songs of his own on his downtime at school, and after returning to Vancouver, he began playing guitar for various artists and industry friends including Karen Lee Batten, Damian Marshall and Bobbi Smith and created his former band. One of Dave’s personal highlights was later opening for Dierks, one summer in Merritt, BC. Dave grew up influenced by classic rockers and songwriters like Tom Petty, and more recently of guitar-slinging country starts like Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Vince Gill, and Travis Tritt. His sound, a mix of modern country and southern rock, is being recognized as Dave was recently selected as a 2015 Top 5 BCCMA Artist Discovery Competition finalist, and his songwriting was previously recognized with a CCMA Songwriters’ Showcase. He was nominated for the 2016 Ray McAuley Horizon award by the BCCMA. Dave recentlyreleased his first single “Party Lights". The song was recorded with producer Jeff Johnson (George Canyon, Wes Mack).

This Ep: Karac Hendriks - Canadian country crooner, songwriter, recording artist, guitarist, blamer of youthPodcast Premier of Karac's new single, "(Blame it on my) Youth" This week GA takes a break from our continuing, and relentless!, pursuit of Jann Arden (who is sequestered in a secret location recovering from her JUNO Awards co-hosting duties) to chat it up with an old friend with new music! A Point Between Heinsburg & Dewberry Alberta", Edmonton-based Karac Hendriks is a gifted musician who has played with the likes of Gord Bamford, Aaron Pritchett, Adam Gregory, and even It's A Show Guest Alumnus Tina Tuner to name but a talented few. Karac has made good on a promise to himself to record a solo project and become the employer instead of the employee. Fresh off the release of his radio single "(Blame it on My) Youth", Karac shares both the struggles and the payoffs of his extensive experiences in the music industry. Tebey, Jason Blaine & James Otto begin their exciting & electrifying Three's A Party Tour on October 30th in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The tour will continue across Canada until the end of November. For information on tickets, please visit www.tebeymusic.com or www.jasonblaine.ca. Tebey just released a new song & music video called Jealous Of The Sun. He's written songs for Emerson Drive, Aaron Pritchett, Doc Walker, and Jason Blaine. As grateful as he is for his songwriting success, Tebey never abandoned his original dream of stepping out and taking centre stage himself. “In order to be a successful songwriter you really have to focus on it, so I literally put my recording career on the back burner.” It was a necessary compromise, he says: “It just so happened that circumstances took me away from being an artist and made me focus on my songwriting in order to make a living.” Now, Country fans know Tebey as a talented and engaging hit maker with songs like Somewhere In The Country, Now I Do and When The Buzz Wears Off. Jason Blaine has just released a new album called Country Side featuring the title track single and the latest song Spotlight. He wrote or co-wrote all 13 tracks. The last two songs on the project are for his two daughters and son. “At the end of the day, when the stage lights come down and I get off the plane or the tour bus and I come home, I’m just a husband and a father,” expains Jason who lives in Nashville with his wife and three children. He won the 2012 CCMA Single of the Year for his song They Don't Make 'Em Like That Anymore - which he co-wrote with Deric Ruttan.

Canadian Country Routes... Aaron Pritchett interview before the Canadian Music Night, American Tours Festival
If you’re a country music fan, this is the episode for you. We’ve got a big slate of four country artists this week. We kick things off with Alessia Cohle, who has been chosen as the first featured artist as part of Steve’s Music and the Boots & Bourbon Saloon’s “Steve’s Supports Country” campaign. Alessia is about to release her debut EP, Let’s Get Gone, and her first single, “Sunday Shoes,” is making waves on radio. Next up with Paul Malysa who won CM’s CMAO Road to Independence Sweepstakes. Paul talks to Andrew about his experience and lessons from the conference as well as his own music career. To close out the show, we have one rising star and one established star of country music that are currently on the road together on the Outlaws & Outsiders Tour. Cory Marquardt tells Mike how he went from being a junior hockey player and a fighter jet pilot in training to playing in front of thousands of music fans opening for Toby Keith and working with some of Nashville's biggest writers and producers. Aaron Pritchett has been one of the genre’s most consistent hit makers over the past 15 years or so, with such songs as “Hold My Beer,” “Big Wheel,” “Let’s Get Rowdy,” which have all been gathered together in his new greatest hits collection, Body of Work. Our Canadian Spotlight Song of the Week is “Madly, Deeply” by Toronto-based country artist Melonie Ungar.
Cadence Grace, Ann Chaplin and Stacey Zegers have had major successes in their own right as solo female artists, but never imagined that together their collective talents would catapult them to an entirely new level as Runaway Angel. Individually, they have toured Canada, the United States, Europe and Britain, opening for major acts like Dean Brody, Aaron Pritchett, One More Girl, Jessie Farrell, Aaron Lines, Terri Clark, Emerson Drive, and Doc Walker. It all began in 2009 when Stacey and Cadence met on set during the filming of CMT’s Karaoke Star, where both were finalists and became fast friends. Cadence then met Ann at CCMA Week in 2011 and they clicked instantly. In late 2013, the three friends joined forces and together Runaway Angel was born. The girls’ first online release in January 2014 titled ‘Our Story’ was the first song they wrote together as a trio and it landed them in the Regional Finals for the 2014 CBC Searchlight contest. Summer of 2014 was filled with ground breaking experiences for the trio, who enjoyed their first opening spots as a group for Dierks Bentley and Tim Hicks, and played in the Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase. They were invited to present an award at the Country Music Association of Ontario Awards and attended 2014 Country Music Week in Edmonton where they performed in the Coast to Coast Showcase at West Edmonton Mall. March 9th, 2015 was the release of their debut single ‘Run Angel Run’ co-written with Ole Publishing’s Bruce Wallace and produced by award-winning producer Jason Barry. Stacey, Ann and Cadence are excited to release their debut EP this spring. Runaway Angel earned 4 nominations at the 2015 CMAO Awards.
Ontario Country artist CORY MARQUARDT has just released his debut album called This Man featuring the first single "21." Cory returns as part of the Outlaws & Outsiders tour this June with dates in Ontario. The tour stars Aaron Pritchett and also features new country duo King & Cash. His influences range from Eric Church to Merle Haggard - and from Rush to John Mayer. If it's a good song, it'll catch Cory's ear. "I’m a huge fan of Eric Church and very happy with what he is doing in country music," explains Cory. "I still have some boot left to fill but I’m making my way and plan on doing that. Like me, he has a solid rock background mixed with some traditional country which is included especially in our live show." Like most Canadian Country artists, the journey of writing and recording includes trips to Nashville. "Since my first trip to Nashville in 2012, I’ve written over 100 songs with some amazing writers and have created some really cool and honest songs. Writing with people like Rob Crosby, Jason Deere, James Dean Hicks, my good friend Danick Dupelle from Emerson Drive, Patricia Conroy and many more make the writing process fun and quite easy." Tune in to hear Cory talk about his music career, songwriting, Nashville, his new album & much more!
Acclaimed for bringingrock energy to country audiences, Aaron Pritchett continues to hold the title of one of the most sought after artists in the business. His passion and intensity for his art overflows on stage and spills into his unwavering dedication to his fans. Growing up in small-town Northern BC, Aaron drew his earliest musical influences from 80’s Rock, but the transition to country music came naturally: “It was based on being able to relate to the stories that country songs told. Those stories were a lot like mine. I was going fishing, camping, and riding buses to hockey tournaments in even smaller towns than my own, life was a lot more country than rock and roll. That feeling resonated with me and I strive to convey that in my music today.” Aaron has climbed the country radio & CMT charts with past hits like “Big Wheel”, “Hold My Beer” and “Let’s Get Rowdy” to his latest successes “Boat On The Water”, “Hold You Like My Whiskey” and “Wake You With A Kiss”. Aaron has just released his first Greatest Hits album called Body Of Work available now at iTunes. Tune in to hear Aaron discuss his Body Of Work and share some of his biggest hits.
CCMA award-winning country star Aaron Pritchett ("Hold My Beer", "Let's Get Rowdy", "Boat On The Water") is joined by special guests Cory Marquardt and newcomers King & Cash on the West Coast leg of their Outlaws & Outsiders tour this winter. Beginning last week in Victoria, BC, the tour will continue east with more dates to be announced soon. Outlaws & Outsiders promises rowdy, high-energy shows from both Aaron Pritchett and Cory Marquardt, who is set to release his sophomore album in the new year, and making their touring debut will be King & Cash, an Invictus Entertainment collaboration matching Faber Drive's Jordan Pritchett with country singer Dan Arnold. "The Outlaws & Outsiders tour is something I've been dreaming of for a long time," says Aaron. "Not only is it a headlining tour but I also get to be on the road with some very cool company. Cory Marquardt is a killer performer so that's going to be a fun set to watch every night! The other reason I love the Outlaws & Outsiders tour is that my son, Jordan, will be one of the acts on the bill. He and Dan Arnold are the newcomers on the scene, making up King & Cash. All in all, so many great cities to play for the BEST fans in the world with the coolest people ever. Who could ask for more?" Tune in to hear about the tour and new music from Aaron Pritchett.

The Tumblin' Dice are a Country band from Victoria, B.C. currently promoting their debut EP. Even though their live shows feature both covers and originals, the band suffers no identity crisis as their own original tunes provide the same 'feel good' party experience as the songs they cover. Since their formation in 2011, The Tumblin' Dice are widely known as the official house band for the now famous "Gone Country Live" events held at Upstairs Cabaret in Victoria each month. It has been these performances that have enabled the band to gel musically and perfect their signature vocal harmonies. Repeatedly drawing huge crowds to see their live performances earned them spots opening for popular Canadian Country artists Aaron Pritchett and Brett Kissel. Recently back from Toronto where they performed at Canadian Music Week, they look forward to a busy summer highlighted by their second straight invitation to be the house band at Sunfest which is Vancouver Island's largest country music festival. Ontario Country artist Nicole Rayy is about to release her new single Country Wild to radio. She also shot a video for the song which will be available for viewing soon. The song is from her current EP Only Everything. While there are slower emotional song like Still See Blue Skies and the heartbreak ballad She Don't Know That Much, it's important to Nicole to record songs like Country Wild. As she explains: “Life isn’t always about heartbreak or relationships, sometimes you just want to party and have some fun with your friends.” Nicole will be partying and performing on stage during the Calgary Stampede in early July. She's also heading back out west in August for a mini tour with fellow Country artist Billy J White.
Burlington, Ontario Country artist TEBEY - now living in Nashville - first found success on Country radio back in 2002 with his single We Shook Hands (Man To Man). He was recognized with a Canadian Radio Music Award nomination for Best New Male Country Artist, a CMT special documenting his development as an artist and a segment on CBC Radio’s ‘Sounds Like Canada.’ The single reached # 3 in Canada and went top 40 in the U.S. but RCA didn't release the album (which featured the single) because the song didn't break the top 20. Determined to not let that setback end his music career, Tebey focused on his skills as a songwriter and soon found his songs being recorded by various artists Over the years, his songs have been recorded by Emerson Drive, Doc Walker, Jason Blaine, Chad Brownlee, Aaron Pritchett, and Big & Rich - among others. He has also had his songs recorded outside the country genre, by pop acts like One Direction, Shawn Desman and Cher. Over the last couple of years, Tebey's own albums have had great success at country radio: The Wait in 2012 featuring the single Somewhere In The Country and Two in 2014 featuring his cover of Wake Me Up and his own songs Till It's Gone & Let It Down. He recently won a CMAO (Country Music Association of Ontario) Award for Record Producer of The Year - along with producer Jason Barry - for The Wait. Tebey has just released a brand new single to radio called called Now I Do.
