Discipleship The Way of Life... Identity*

In DTWOL... Identity* we dive into... who are you... and who possesses the authority to answer that question? In a world constantly assigning labels, encouraging self-definition, and telling us to look within; Identity* dives beneath what can be seen on the surface to examine what the only true God says is true about humanity—and about those who are in Christ. From what was true FORMERLY, to the life-changing intervention of BUT GOD, we discover that biblical identity is not something we manufacture, achieve, or earn; it begins with the Creator and, for the disciple, is made new in Jesus Christ. And when the only true God changes what is happening under the skin, new desires, new affections, and a new direction increasingly become evident in the way His disciples walk, talk, and live. So perhaps the question isn't merely, “Who am I?”—but something considerably deeper: “Whose am I?”God's Word: Key Verses: Genesis 1:26–27; Ephesians 2:1–5; Colossians 1:13–14; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Ezekiel 36:26–27; Additional Scripture references are woven throughout the Godcast and can be gleaned from the full transcript. MY Devotional: Daily Encouragement from Leading The Way

Hebrews 4:12 describes the Word of God as alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. Scripture is far more than ink on a page—it carries God's authority, power, will, and Truth, producing fruit and transforming the lives of those who receive it. In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef compares the penetrating power of Scripture to a surgeon's scalpel. In unskilled hands, a blade can wound. But in the hands of a gifted surgeon, that same blade becomes an instrument of healing. When we approach the Bible with humble, open hearts, we place ourselves in the hands of the Master Surgeon. God's Word reaches into the deepest recesses of our souls, exposing hidden attitudes, motives, and sins that need to be confronted. Nothing remains concealed from the One who knows us completely. But God does not expose our sin simply to leave us wounded. Like the Great Physician, He removes what is destructive and restores what is broken. Even when the Truth cuts deeply, His purpose is our good—bringing repentance, freedom, and greater Christlikeness. Come to Scripture ready for God to work. Trust the Surgeon who knows precisely where healing is needed, and allow His living Word to transform you from the inside out. The voice you hear on the MY Devotional podcast is digitally generated with Dr. Youssef's permission. If today's devotional stirred a question, burden, or need for prayer, you don't have to walk through it alone.

The Rise of Islam & the Crisis of Biblical Christianity | KWR0062 Kingdom War Room DESCRIPTION What happens when a civilization loses its biblical foundations while competing religious and ideological systems grow stronger? In this powerful Kingdom War Room discussion, Dr. Michael Lake, Dr. Mike Spaulding, and Pastor Corby Shuey examine the growing influence of Islam in the Western world, the ideological conflicts facing America, and the spiritual condition that has left much of the modern Church unprepared to respond. This conversation is not a call for hatred, hostility, or mistreatment of Muslims. The speakers explicitly distinguish between people and the doctrines and ideological claims they are examining. The deeper question is: DO CHRISTIANS ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY BELIEVE? The Church is entering an age in which shallow Christianity will not be sufficient. As competing worldviews grow increasingly bold, believers must understand the Scriptures, know why they believe what they believe, develop biblical discernment, and become deeply rooted in Jesus Christ. This episode examines: ·      The rise of Islamic influence in Western culture and politics ·      Islam, Sharia, jihad, and competing religious worldviews ·      Why Christians must understand the theological differences between the biblical Jesus and the Islamic understanding of Jesus ·      The relationship between postmodernism, cultural deconstruction, socialism, and Islamism discussed by the panel ·      How emotionalism has weakened biblical Christianity ·      Why believers must learn to distinguish feelings from biblical truth ·      The danger of churches abandoning serious biblical study ·      Why spiritual discernment will become increasingly important ·      The need for pastors and Christian leaders to preach biblical truth without fear ·      Why the next generation desperately needs a biblical worldview ·      The difference between emotional conversion and genuine faith in Jesus Christ ·      Why worship must be centered on God rather than human experience ·      The necessity of spiritual discipline and deep biblical conviction Why the Remnant must develop deep spiritual roots for the days ahead One of the central warnings of this Kingdom War Room is simple: A shallow faith cannot withstand a serious spiritual battle. Dr. Lake observes that Christians have moved from being a studious people to becoming an entertainment-oriented people. Dr. Spaulding warns that believers who do not know Scripture or understand why they believe what they believe will find themselves increasingly unprepared for opposition. The answer is not fear. The answer is not hatred. The answer is not political violence. The answer is a Church that returns to the Word of God, walks in the fear of the Lord, develops spiritual discernment, and becomes firmly rooted in Jesus Christ. Pastor Corby makes this especially clear in the closing prayer: the response being advocated is not rudeness, violence, or aggression toward others, but humble submission to Scripture and faithful allegiance to Jesus Christ. The time for "three-millimeter-deep Christianity" is over.  We need roots that run deep.  We need believers who know the Word.  We need men and women who understand their faith.  And above everything else, we need a generation that knows Jesus Christ as Lord, King, Messiah, Redeemer, and Savior. Job 38:3 — "Dress for action like a man"; the discussion uses Job to emphasize accountability before Almighty God. Matthew 24 — The episode connects contemporary deception with Jesus' warnings concerning the last days. Psalm 1 — The closing exhortation uses the image of the deeply rooted tree as a model for believers who must withstand spiritual drought. The episode also repeatedly emphasizes the biblical confession of Jesus Christ as Lord, Messiah, Savior, Redeemer, and God incarnate. The discussion specifically contrasts that confession with Islamic Christology.

MY Devotional: Daily Encouragement from Leading The Way

There was a time when many people in the Western world—believers and non-believers alike—knew the Bible's stories, teachings, and moral foundations. But today, Biblical knowledge is fading as postmodern thinking declares truth to be personal, shifting, and based on feeling. In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef reminds believers that God's Word does not bend to culture, opinion, emotion, or circumstance. Throughout history, people have loved the Bible, hated it, believed it, rejected it, tried to change it, and attempted to destroy it. Dictators and rulers have sought to silence it, yet the Word of God still stands. The tragedy is that many believers now neglect this incomparable treasure, missing the joy, power, wisdom, and strength that come from reading and obeying Scripture. Dr. Youssef encourages Christians to become like the men of Issachar, who understood the times and knew what God's people should do. In a world saturated with postmodern ideas, a few hours of church each week will not be enough to neutralize the pressure of the culture. Believers must immerse themselves daily in the Word of God. When you open your Bible, you are choosing God's Truth over the world's confusion. As Scripture renews your mind and strengthens your heart, you will become less at home in this world—and better equipped to recognize and withstand the attacks of Satan. God's Word is your greatest weapon in the fight, and it always prevails. Prayer: Lord, help me cherish Your Word and feast on it so I remain healthy, strong, and faithful. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.  “. . . from Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do—200 chiefs, with all their relatives under their command; . . .” (1 Chronicles 12:32). If you're a Christian mom who can't stop worrying about your kids, you're not alone. Whether you're worried about their choices, friendships, health, faith, safety, or future, it can be incredibly difficult to trust God with the people you love most. In this episode of the Faith Led Working Moms Podcast, we're talking about how to stop worrying about your children and learn to trust God with them. As moms, our worry often comes from a very real place of love. We care deeply about our children, so it can feel almost impossible to let go of the fear of what might happen to them. But God never asked you to control your children's future. He has called you to faithfully love, guide, teach, pray for, and point them toward Him—while trusting Him with what only He can do. Today, I share three biblical reminders to help you when worry about your kids begins taking over: 1. Your job is faithfulness, not control. You can be a faithful mom without being responsible for every outcome in your child's life. Learn to recognize the difference between godly responsibility and trying to control what only God can control. 2. Prayer accomplishes what worry never can. Instead of replaying worst-case scenarios and carrying constant fear, you can bring your concerns about your children directly to God. Prayer gives your worries somewhere to go and reminds you that you are not parenting alone. 3. God loves your children even more than you do. This may be one of the most comforting truths a mother can remember. God created your children, knows their future, and is able to care for them in ways you never could. If you've been struggling with mom anxiety, fear about your child's future, worrying about your children, or learning how to trust God with your kids, this episode will encourage you to release what you cannot control and place your children back into the hands of the One who loves them perfectly. In This Episode Why moms worry so much about their children The connection between worry, love, responsibility, and control How to recognize when concern has turned into anxiety and fear Why being a faithful mom doesn't mean controlling the outcome How prayer can replace worry Why God can be trusted with your children Encouragement for moms worried about their child's future How to surrender your children's lives to God A simple practice for turning worry into prayer Biblical encouragement for Christian moms who are afraid A Reminder for the Mom Who Is Worried You don't have to stop loving your children in order to stop carrying their future. You can faithfully parent them while trusting God with them. You can pray when you don't know what to do. You can release what you cannot control. And you can remember that the God who loves you is also faithfully holding the children you love most. Today on Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, I'm addressing the divorcee community and I'm going straight to the Bible. Why does God say He hates divorce? What does Scripture actually teach about marriage, covenant, divorce, and the responsibilities of husbands and wives? And why have divorce rates become so incredibly high, particularly as wives increasingly initiate divorce over reasons that, from a biblical perspective, are trivial, selfish, or completely unbiblical? This is not a message designed to just shame people who have experienced divorce. It is a challenge to the culture that has normalized abandoning marriage whenever things become difficult, inconvenient, or uncomfortable. We need to be willing to distinguish between legitimate biblical grounds for divorce and the endless list of modern excuses we've created to justify walking away from a sacred covenant. And that's not all we're discussing.I'm also talking about Donald Trump's continued failures, the gap between political promises and political reality, and why Americans should be questioning the decisions being made in our name.Plus, we're talking about the Iran War and why I believe this conflict is unnecessary and why Americans should be asking whether another foreign war actually serves the interests of the United States.Marriage. Episode Summary:What happens when most Christians have a definition of discipleship that's too small? For many believers, discipleship means Bible studies, church programs, quiet times, or spiritual disciplines. While all of these are important, what if they're only part of the picture? In this episode, Scott, Nelson, and Luke explore the most common definitions of discipleship, affirm what's right about each one, and explain what's missing. They argue that many Christians have unintentionally reduced discipleship to a handful of spiritual activities, leaving the Church with a fragmented vision of following Jesus and the Great Commission.More importantly, they present a fuller vision of discipleship, one that extends into every area of life. They explain why Jesus' command to "make disciples of all nations" only makes sense when we recover a robust understanding of what discipleship really is. Fragmented ideas about discipleship produce fragmented consequences for the Kingdom. In this episode:The difference between a disciple and discipleshipWhy discipleship is about every area of life, not just "spiritual" lifeHow the sacred-secular divide has shaped modern ChristianityWhy information alone doesn't produce transformationHow a biblical understanding of discipleship can transform individuals, churches, communities, and even nationsIf Jesus has authority over all things, then discipleship must include all things. This conversation will challenge you to rethink one of Christianity's most familiar words and recover a vision of discipleship that extends far beyond Sunday morning.Who is the Disciple Nations Alliance (DNA)? Since 1997, DNA's mission has been to equip followers of Jesus around the globe with a biblical worldview, empowering them to build flourishing families, communities, and nations.

Remember, Jesus told us, “With the measure you use it, it'll be measured back to you.” As a matter of fact the Lord told us that as we make ourselves available to Him through His word, our minds become renewed so that we can prove what is the perfect will of God in our own lives.

Scripture is clear: the gifts of the Holy Spirit continue throughout the Church Age until Jesus returns. But the Bible also strongly rebukes those who flaunt self-proclaimed titles like “Apostle,” “Prophet,” or “Archbishop.” In this video, Christine Darg examines the growing problem of grandiose, self-bestowed titles in the church—and how they often lead to control, financial exploitation, adulation and deception. Drawing from Matthew 23, Revelation 2:2, 2 Corinthians 11, and other key passages, she shows why Jesus warned against seeking honorifics and why we must test those who call themselves apostles. You'll also hear why humility is the true mark of Spirit-empowered ministry, why the foundational apostles and prophets cannot be supplemented, and how ordinary believers can still walk in genuine gifts and high ministry offices without self-promotion. Then the teaching turns to a major end-time sign: the explosive rise of anti-Zionism and antisemitism. With Israel restored as the prophetic “fig tree,” Satan is stirring global hatred against God's people—exactly as Scripture foretold. Learn why the Church must stand as true watchmen, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and intercede for the salvation of all Israel (Romans 11:26).Most importantly, this video ends with a clear gospel invitation. What if the Bible isn't just a book to study, but a love story inviting you into a deeper relationship with God? In episode five of our Summer Recap Series, Shelley Giglio sits down with beloved Bible teacher and longtime friend Lisa Harper for an honest and hope-filled conversation about knowing the God of the Bible—not just knowing about Him. Lisa shares how God has patiently pursued her through seasons of doubt, disappointment, fear, failure, and loss, teaching her that true freedom isn't found in performing, pretending, or presenting a polished version of ourselves. It's found in believing that we are already fully loved by Jesus. Together, Shelley and Lisa talk about the difference between religion and relationship, the importance of knowing Scripture for ourselves, and how theology isn't just a subject to study. It's a conversation with a God who desires to be known. From Lisa's journey into public ministry to the story of adopting her daughter Missy, she shares how God redeems what feels irreparable and meets us with His kindness in the places we feel most broken. If you've ever felt like you have to clean yourself up before coming to God, this conversation is a reminder: Jesus is not a scowling Savior waiting for you to get it right. He is a loving Father inviting you closer. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

What if your wilderness season isn't a sign that God has left you—but proof that He's preparing you? In this powerful return to the Revelations Podcast, Christa Black Singh shares how God has continued to redeem every chapter of her story. From heartbreak and divorce to remarriage, motherhood, and deep spiritual healing, Christa reflects on what it truly means to walk with Jesus through seasons of crushing, restoration, and rest. Together, Reagan and Christa explore difficult but important topics including suffering, biblical discernment, spiritual warfare, the unseen spiritual realm, New Age deception, healing from trauma, and learning to hear God's voice before praying and speaking our own declarations. Christa also shares deeply personal stories about the loss of her daughter Goldie, God's redemption through unimaginable grief, and the profound lessons she learned after leaving New Age practices behind. Christa breaks down the realms of heaven, ancient technology and how understanding the strategies of the enemy can transform our spiritual lives. Whether you're walking through a wilderness season, wrestling with spiritual questions, or longing for deeper intimacy with Christ, this conversation will encourage you to trust God's goodness, embrace His refining work, and remember that His redemption is always greater than your pain. Key Takeaways God often uses wilderness seasons to prepare us for greater purpose. True success is becoming more like Christ—not gaining influence or recognition. God can bring healing from trauma and understanding the connection between spirit, soul, and body. Discernment begins by asking, "Lord, what are You saying?" before speaking. Spiritual warfare is real, but Jesus has complete authority over every power. Healing involves our relationship with God, our emotions, and our willingness to surrender. No failure, trauma, or loss is beyond God's power to redeem. Jesus is the only doorway to the Father, and lasting freedom is found in Him alone. "Psalm 13 captures a prayer that many people have quietly carried in their own hearts: ""How long, Lord?"" When God feels distant, suffering seems unending, and hope feels fragile, it can be difficult to know what faith is supposed to look like. In this message, we explore David's honest lament and discover that God welcomes our questions, our grief, and our cries for help. Rather than hiding our struggles, Psalm 13 shows us that bringing them before God is itself an act of trust. As the psalm unfolds, David moves from despair to confidence—not because his circumstances immediately change, but because he remembers God's steadfast love and faithfulness. Join us as we unpack what this ancient prayer teaches about waiting, trusting, and finding hope even in seasons of uncertainty. Whether you're walking through hardship or encouraging someone who is, this sermon offers a biblical reminder that God hears every honest prayer and remains faithful through every season."

When it comes to following Jesus, there are things He put in motion specifically designed for He our new covenant. And possibly the key component of the new covenant is the fact that it requires a believer for it to actually work. Here's something else to keep in mind, when it comes to our new covenant, as one of His children, one of His disciples, we don't have to talk God into doing something that He's already established in Jesus. Something He's already put in motion.

In this episode of The Built Different Podcast, Dr. Zach Clinton is joined by his father, Dr. Tim Clinton, president of the American Association of Christian Counselors, for a conversation with actor, author, and outspoken advocate for faith and family, Kirk Cameron. Together they unpack the cultural battle underway for the hearts and minds of the next generation, from the messaging embedded in children's entertainment and education, to Kirk's own national library book tour and the pushback he encountered along the way. Kirk shares why he decided the church can't just complain about culture but must create something better, discussing his new family-centered television show built to give parents trustworthy, biblically grounded content. The conversation turns practical as Kirk and Dr. Clinton talk through the shift from a play-based to a phone-based childhood, what it actually looks like to rescue kids from a corrupted culture inside the home, and the two or three things children need most from their parents to develop real character, faith, and resilience. It's a candid, hope-filled charge to parents, grandparents, and mentors that culture may be loud, but a parent who speaks truth and shows up with intentionality remains one of the most powerful forces shaping the next generation. Kirk closes with what gives him hope for the families choosing to lead with courage in this moment. MY Devotional: Daily Encouragement from Leading The Way

William F. Buckley once observed, “The most important intellectual enterprise is the distinction between right and wrong.” In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef reminds believers that compromise with the world's view of sin can quickly dull our sensitivity to God's Truth. Our emotions are unreliable guides. When we build decisions, relationships, or moral convictions on feelings alone, we become confused and miserable. This is especially true in close relationships, including marriage, where we must learn to live from the perspective of what is true, right, and pleasing to God. Dr. Youssef points to James 4, where Scripture exposes the root of fights and quarrels: desires battling within us, selfish motives, coveting, and prayer aimed at personal pleasure rather than God's will. Genuine happiness does not come from forcing our own way or avoiding God's plan. It comes through obedience, surrender, and humble submission. When God is involved, submission is not bondage—it is freedom. A life submitted to Jesus experiences lasting joy, restored relationships, and the liberating peace of walking in His will each day. The voice you hear on the MY Devotional podcast is digitally generated with Dr. Youssef's permission. If today's devotional stirred a question, burden, or need for prayer, you don't have to walk through it alone.

In this listener Q&A episode, I'm tackling some of your most thoughtful questions about biblical discernment, discipleship, and how to faithfully navigate today's cultural confusion. Together we'll discuss: Are butterflies, repeated numbers, and other "signs" really messages from God? How should we think about people who profess Christ while affirming LGBTQ relationships? What should we make of Perez Hilton's public profession of Christianity? Is someone simply mistaken about Scripture—or does rejecting biblical authority reveal a deeper issue? How can Christians lovingly correct those who claim Christ without rushing to judge their salvation? What encouragement does Scripture offer women married to unbelieving husbands? We'll also talk about the difference between discipleship and deception, why biblical authority matters, and how to engage difficult conversations with both conviction and compassion.   Find Shanda www.shandafulbright.com Instagram & Facebook: @shandafulbright Email: hello@shandafulbright.com Free Resources: https://shandafulbright.com/links YouTube: http://bit.ly/ShandaYT2021 Store: www.Shandafulbright.com/shop
