Mismatched sex drives in marriage? You're not alone—and it's not a problem to fix, but an opportunity to grow together. Most couples (up to 90%!) will experience periods where their sexual desires don't line up perfectly. It's completely normal—and it's a chance to build deeper understanding, communication, and compassion in your relationship. Getting honest about differences means you can meet each other where you are, as a team. This conversation is full of encouragement for the couple (or the spouse) who is feeling the disconnect from the different drives. Join Dr. Kim and J. Parker as they talk about normalizing this topic and making your marriage (and sex life) awesome. Episode Highlights: Majority of couples face the struggle of mismatched sex drives. It's important that the lines of communication are open when talking about desire, frequency and expectation. Open, ongoing communication is key to building intimacy.  The way we think about intimacy is often shaped by cultural messages, church teaching, or our upbringing.   Quotes from Today's Episode: Mismatched sex drives aren't the exception—they're the norm. Instead of seeing it as a sign something's wrong, view it as an opportunity to communicate, show compassion, and navigate intimacy as a team. The old script that ‘men want sex and women want romance' sells everyone short. You can crave both romance and intimacy, regardless of who in your marriage has the higher desire. A thriving sex life isn't automatic—it's something you cultivate over time, through learning, honesty, and growth together. Sometimes a gap in desire isn't about your relationship at all, but about real-life pressures. There are times when speaking up isn't nagging—it's partnership. Express what you need, but do it out of love and with respect, seeking to connect and understand, not just correct.   Questions for Reflection: When was the last time you and your spouse had a conversation about frequency?  Do you feel comfortable telling your spouse what you need in regards to physical intimacy?  What's one small step you could take this week to communicate more openly about your needs and create healthier intimacy together?   Mentioned in this Episode: Hot, Holy and Humerous J Parker is on Instagram! In this wide-ranging episode (aired 10/10/2025) the host opens with the show's signature “Word on Word” segment—comparing Proverbs 19:20–21 and John 10:10—and invites listeners to weigh which passage resonates most. From there he shifts into a deep, skeptical look at the newly announced Gaza peace deal: why the crowds and celebrations may be misleading, why the host believes the ceasefire's terms hide important leverage and payoffs, and how political and real‑estate interests (with references to Trump, Jared Kushner, and Israeli leaders) could be shaping outcomes. He highlights a reported Oval Office phone apology by Netanyahu to Qatar as a revealing moment and argues the “devil is in the details.” The episode also critiques mainstream and social media narratives—algorithmic war‑profit incentives, left/right polarization, and sensationalism—and the host confesses frustration with false or amplifying stories, including an on‑air apology for briefly sharing a fake summons document (created by Meme World). Moving beyond geopolitics, the host explores broader concerns about surveillance, AI, and the so‑called Great Reset: Trump's role in advancing biometric and crypto initiatives, Israel and AI breakthroughs, and a controversial reading of Revelation that considers AIs and corporate powers as prophetic actors. He ties these themes to cultural control, the WEF, and generational power structures. The episode includes audio clips and mentions from public figures—Joe Rogan, Candace Owens (as a political troll case study), and archival Rush Limbaugh material—to illustrate media tactics and political theater. There's also discussion of the U.S. government shutdown, prosecutorial controversies, and unsettling material on Hunter Biden's laptop referenced in the monologue. A major portion previews a new paid course and forthcoming book the host has spent six weeks developing: “God's Repeating Patterns.” He outlines 15 concise modules covering creation, the sun, moon, stars, the firmament, heaven, the role of Adam and Christ, and a final “big reveal” that he says synthesizes scripture into a single image. He explains pricing plans, an affiliate program, free scripture lists, and a money‑back challenge for substantive critiques. He invites feedback and promises to release some free content and a lower price later. The episode closes with pastoral notes—an apology for the earlier mistake, an invitation to Saturday prayer on Telegram, a tease for an upcoming study through Corinthians, and a call to love God, family, and neighbor while staying engaged in local community. Listeners should expect a mix of scripture study, political analysis, prophetic interpretation, media critique, and a detailed course preview. Thank you for Listening to Right on Radio. The central theme revolves around knowing our time and being ready to act on God's prompting. We're challenged to be disciples who know who they are and what to do, embracing ministry in our everyday lives. The message emphasizes that God has always known us and has a plan for each of us, regardless of our past mistakes. We're encouraged to step out in faith, one decision at a time, trusting that God has already seen the life we could have. In this powerful message, we're reminded of the urgency of our times and the importance of 'knowing the time' as followers of Christ. Drawing from Romans 13:11-14, we're called to awaken from spiritual complacency and recognize the strategic hour we're living in. Just as Paul urged the early Roman church, we too must 'put on the armor of light' and be ready for spiritual battle. This isn't about fear, but about being alert and prepared. We're challenged to live as 'citizens of heaven,' representing Jesus in our daily lives and interactions. The message emphasizes the need for authentic faith that goes beyond religious rituals, encouraging us to love our neighbors and be attentive to the Holy Spirit's leading. As we navigate these critical times, let's hold fast to our confession of hope, stirring up love and good works in one another, and not forsaking the assembly of believers. This timely word calls us to embrace our identity in Christ and step into our role as His disciples with renewed vigor and purpose.

Preaching from Acts 13, he outlines three marks of genuine Holy Spirit awakening: full surrender to the Spirit's leadership, unwavering commitment to Biblical Truth, and steadfastness in the face of opposition. Revival does not come through entertainment or softening the Gospel, but through repentance, obedience, and bold proclamation of Jesus Christ. In this episode, we urge believers to pause and ask critical questions: Which Jesus are people proclaiming? Is this the gospel of the kingdom—or a gospel mixed with nationalism and politics? In this timely episode, they explore: ✅ Why "Jesus plus anything" equals nothing ✅ The difference between revival FOR God vs. OF God ✅ How to test the spirits in this cultural moment ✅ Why God is not American (and why that matters) ✅ The danger of confusing political movements with spiritual awakening ✅ What true repentance and revival actually look likeThis isn't about being cynical—it's about being discerning. We want to see genuine revival, but we must ensure people are meeting the real Jesus Christ, not a political figurehead or cultural Christianity.⚠️ Key Warning: Paul said if anyone preaches another gospel, let them be accursed (Galatians 1:8-9). In this episode, Dr. Kim and John West discuss “Stockholm Syndrome Christianity” and how cultural captivity can pull Christians away from biblical truth. They explore the impact of these influences on marriage, from weakened faithfulness to the generational effects of broken promises on children. The conversation highlights the need for intentionality in guarding our hearts, shaping our children's worldview, and staying rooted in truth. Listeners will be encouraged to build marriages that mutually support, advocate, and thrive in a world that often pulls in the opposite direction.   Episode Highlights: As believers, what we are consuming directly affects how boldly we live out our faith. Too many believers aren't prioritizing biblical truth and their relationships reflect their culture more than their faith. The church has not been immune to cultural influences.  Culture tells us that feelings trump biblical truth.   Quotes from Today's Episode: If you live your life oriented towards God's truth, it's designed for our flourishing.- John West Every spouse needs to be their partner's biggest advocate.- John West The impact on kids from broken marriages is traumatic. - John West If you have a certain feeling, you don't have to act it out. - John West If you're listening to a never-ending stream of lies, you're going to become very reticent about speaking up or living based on your Christian beliefs.- John West What I saw in the christian community is a lot of christians being culturally captive. - John West If you're a christian, especially in industries, you spend a lot of your life around cultural captors.  Many christians have adopted this secular view that sex isn't to be reserved for marriage.- John West If you have a diet in your entertainment consumption for you and your kids, that everyone's doing it- it's normalized, it's going to affect how you live. -John West It's really important to be in the world, not of the world. -Dr. Kim You need to be wise enough and intentional enough to know that putting that stuff inside of you is going to have an impact- and impact your kids.- John West The number 1 thing is you need to ask yourself- who is really raising your kids? Couples' Conversation Guide: As you reflect on your marriage relationship, where do you see culture influencing you the most? Are there biblical truths you've found harder to live out in today's world? Why? Do you believe there are any “outdated” parts of the Bible? Who or what has the largest influence on your marriage? In this “Compared to Who?” episode, Heather Creekmore talks about how growing in spiritual maturity can help you break free from comparison and body image struggles. She gently challenges listeners to re-examine the belief that life will be easy if you just do everything right—a mindset she calls “magical thinking.” Instead, Heather explains how holding onto this idea can prevent us from fully trusting God and experiencing real growth. She shares her personal experiences with disappointment, especially around marriage and body image, and how letting go of perfectionism and unrealistic expectations made space for deeper faith and emotional stability. Ultimately, the message is about moving away from idols and quick fixes, and toward a more honest, grace-filled relationship with Jesus—even if it means accepting that life will have its hardships. Have you ever felt the weight of insecurity—wondering if you’re enough, measuring yourself against others, or carrying the burden of impossible expectations? I know I have. That’s why I was so grateful to sit down with Sharon Hodde Miller for this week’s episode of The Love Offering Podcast. Sharon is the author of Free of Me and her newest devotional, Gazing at God. Both books offer a refreshing, hope-filled message: true freedom doesn’t come from fixing ourselves but from fixing our eyes on Him. Sharon invites us to embark on a grace-filled journey toward freedom from self-centeredness. In her 40-day devotional, she gently guides readers to: identify the wounds, assumptions, and scripts that keep us stuck in self-focus· recognize our true identity in Christ· break the bondage of insecurity so we can freely love God and others As Sharon writes, “We are never more fragile than when we make ourselves the center of our story.” The good news is that our story doesn’t begin or end with us—it begins and ends with God. If you’ve been weighed down by insecurity or caught in the cycle of striving and self-doubt, I encourage you to listen to this week’s conversation. Sharon’s wisdom will help you exchange the exhausting work of self-focus for the joy of gazing at God. I pray this episode helps you lift your eyes, find rest, and walk in the freedom that comes from knowing your Creator deeply loves you. In this powerful message, we're reminded of the spiritual warfare that surrounds us as believers. The central theme revolves around Romans 12:19, which teaches us that vengeance belongs to God alone. We're called to navigate this world as ambassadors of Christ, responding to injustice and persecution with love and prayer rather than retaliation. The speaker draws parallels between God's ordained authorities (like law enforcement) and our role as spiritual warriors, emphasizing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of darkness. This perspective challenges us to renew our minds and approach conflicts with a Kingdom mindset, trusting in God's justice rather than taking matters into our own hands. As we reflect on this message, we're encouraged to examine our hearts, pray for those in authority, and stand firm in our faith, knowing that our redemption draws near.

Success is never Final.Failure is never Fatal. It is Courage (Faith) that Counts. This phase, attributed to Winston Churchill, is not from the Bible, but it is Biblical and encouraging. “But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose.” Philippians 1:22“Not that I have already obtained it, or have already become perfect, but I press on in order that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:12“For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; 8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:6-8Our So What?Success is never final, failure is never fatal; it is courage (faith) that counts. Our joy and satisfaction come from talking about prayer. Today, we turn our hearts to focus on the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. The context is again, "Success is never final; failure is never fatal, it is courage, born of faith that counts." ( a slight modification of the Churchill quote.)Our implied example, as we pray for revival in Puerto Rico, is the growth of the church. God's work is not done until every tribe and tongue knows the invitation of salvation. Our express example is the Apostle Paul. In Philippi, Paul, far from the travel, persecution, and beatings of his life, could have kicked back and rested, rejoicing in the spread of the gospel. Yet, he exhorts us to follow his example.:"Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you; 16 however, let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained." Philippians 3:13-16Our So What? We can know what God has wrought for us and through us, but while we are alive, we press on until we see our Savior face to face. "What a man is on his knees before God, that he is and nothing more." It's Witness Wednesday! In today's episode, Todd Friel visits Kennesaw State University to engage with students on matters of faith and beliefs. First, Todd talks with Mateo, where they discuss Easter, its significance in Christianity, and personal accountability before God. Todd also has the chance to speak with a student on the meaning of life and the importance of faith. Segment 1: • Mateo is Catholic, but unsure about the true meaning of Easter. • Believes he's a “pretty good person” and that God will be impressed with his life. • Todd patiently walks him through the Law, showing why sorrow alone can't erase guilt—and why Jesus' resurrection is everything. Segment 2: • Mateo leans on good works and God's mercy rather than justice satisfied. • Todd uses Old Testament imagery (Passover lamb, animal sacrifice) to help Mateo connect the dots: Jesus was the final blood sacrifice. • Mateo starts to grasp the real meaning of Easter—and admits he's unsure if he's truly been born again. Segment 3: • Our next student lives by a “do what makes you happy” philosophy—says personal fulfillment is the goal. • Todd challenges his worldview: What happens when happiness runs dry? Is there anything more stable? • Ex-Christian by association, he admits he doesn't know what Christianity is really about. Segment 4: • Todd continues his talk with the ex-Christian student and dismantles his moral relativism using the 10 Commandments. • Realizes he'd be guilty before a holy God and deserves judgment—but sees the beauty of grace through Jesus. • Learns salvation is not about “trying harder,” but about receiving Christ's perfect record by faith alone. ___ Thanks for listening! Heather speaks into the aftermath of last week’s tragic events to address how these unsettling times can actually serve as a wake-up call for Christian women struggling with body image and comparison. Instead of focusing on the headlines, Heather invites listeners to examine what we’re really battling daily. She explores the big idea that our struggle isn’t with the scale, the mirror, or even other women—it’s a spiritual battle, not “against flesh and blood,” as Ephesians 6:12 says. Heather shares a relatable story about getting a speeding ticket (and her less-than-humble reaction!) as an illustration of the subtle ways pride and self-focus sneak in, keeping us distracted from what God is calling us to. Here are some references & main themes: The assassination of Charlie Kirk: Not the main focus of the episode, but this tragic event is used as context for discussing spiritual wake-up calls and living boldly for Jesus. Us vs. them mentality: How cultural polarization and volatility can lead to numbness or withdrawal, even from our spiritual callings. Spiritual battle vs. physical struggle: Using Ephesians 6:12, Heather emphasizes we need to recognize the spiritual nature of our struggles—especially with body image, insecurity, and comparison. Armor of God (Ephesians 6): Are you more worried about what you wear or making sure you have the armor of God on? The lie of “my truth” vs. God’s truth: Heather draws from the cultural trend of embracing “my truth” and contrasts it with God’s truth, especially in how we view ourselves and our worth. Pride and self-righteousness: Illustrated through her personal speeding ticket story, reminding us how quickly we default to excusing ourselves and judging others. Encouragement for action: Rather than “doing more” or “trying harder,” Heather invites listeners to actually follow Jesus, not just fit Him into their goals and plans. Overcoming shame and guilt: She warns listeners not to get caught in the enemy’s trap of shame for not being "further along" in their spiritual walk, and instead to run toward Jesus, the light, and real security. Programs and Resources Mentioned: 40-Day Journey: Starts October 1st, with groups beginning October 7th. Details at improvebodyimage.com or directly at: https://www.improvebodyimage.com/40-day-challenge Body Image Freedom Framework: Heather’s online course for deeper freedom in the areas discussed in the episode. Coaching and community offerings: Here are links to programs designed to equip women for the real battle. Questions to Reflect On: Which “battle” am I spending most of my time and energy on each day? How does believing my own truth about my body or worth keep me from living in God’s truth? Am I taking Jesus along for my ride, or am I letting Him lead? Final encouragement: Heather calls listeners to reject shame, fight the real battle, and let their light shine for Christ. She challenges us to think about how we will be remembered—not as women obsessed with their image, but as those unafraid to shine the light of Jesus. For more: Listen to this episode for Heather’s personal stories, practical encouragement, and a heartfelt call to step out of comparison and into true freedom.
