Christian Beck is the Executive Partner at Innovatemap, where he focuses on growth strategy and design. He is also the host of the podcast Better Product.  While Christian doesn't consider himself a marketer, he and Alan discuss design, user experience, and how marketing is tied closely to his role. Throughout the rest of their conversation they also touch on how technology scale is outpacing human cognition, why that matters, and what making a good product is all about. According to Christian, a “better product is marketable, valuable, and usable.” Since technology is evolving rapidly, companies must be really intentional about sticking to the fundamental design principles — designing around human behavior. What can marketers learn from design and vice versa? Listen to the full conversation to find out. In this episode, you'll learn: How technology scale is outpacing human cognition Why better product is marketable, valuable, and usable  The push for community in product spaces Key Highlights: [01:24] Why Christian doesn't see himself as a marketer [02:15] Why he started with design  [06:20] Technology scale outpaces human cognition [11:47] Who is Innovatemap? In a super-divisive world, how do we find common ground, do what's best for our families, and approach things with an open mind? We may not have a clear answer at all times, but sometimes we come across some information that opens our minds to another point of view. And Christian Elliott's article titled, “18 Reasons Why I'm Not Getting a Covid Vaccine” is definitely one of them. A friend of mine told me that I had to read his article, which has now been seen millions of times all over the world, and it really resonated with me. I was struck by how well it was written, the classy approach he took, and his courage in speaking out.  And after reading his article, I knew I needed to have him on the podcast to talk about a lot of the questions we've probably all had at one point or another over this past year. Christian is a certified personal trainer, life coach, and a nutrition coach. He's all about living a healthy lifestyle and helping others figure out what inspires them. He has a fascination with the human body, human psychology, and a willingness to have honest discussions with people who may have a different point of view. In today's conversation, Christian and I aren't just talking about how to keep ourselves and our families healthy–we're talking about what it means to stand up for what we really believe in and how to teach our children to do the same. Christian Elliot Podcast Highlights What makes health such a passionate subject for Christian–and how he went from being frequently sick in his late 20s to finding his best health in his 40s. How can we embody the values most important to us every single day? The power of sitting and creating space for your kids' emotions. Why Christian believes “He wasn't really present” is the worst thing our kids could say about us. How to teach kids to be open-minded. Why Christian felt compelled to write his article about COVID-19 vaccines. Why the thought of his kids saying “He didn't stand up for what was right” would be such a dagger to him. Why is the world so bad at talking about our health in practical, meaningful ways? We were proud to welcome Christian Wurzinger, the Group CFO at Klosterfrau Group in Switzerland, to the EMEA Recruitment podcast.  “In order to be successful, you must realise that the human is at the centre of everything.” Christian spoke to Paul Toms, our Founder, about the positives he's taken from the past year-and-a-half during the COVID-19 pandemic. One of his key learnings is how effective remote working can be within large organisations. He's also found it an important time to focus on the value of relationships. Christian feels that if companies can take those two positives out of the crisis, the experience will have lasting effects. Working in Finance, Christian came from the “hard” side of the business, focussed on numbers and fact-driven approaches, whereas those in Human Resources, for example, always start with the people. As he's matured, Christian has found that injecting a human touch and recognising the importance of people is essential in driving results. After working at Procter & Gamble for over 20 years and now leading the Finance function of a Swiss multi-national, you would assume that Christian feels he's made it in his career. However, he explains that his key motivation is to keep learning and improving. Further into his career, he's started to see longer-term trends and is proud to work for a company that's building lasting value.  For those looking to improve their productivity, Christian has a top tip – if you're a fan of the to-do list, avoid his answer! With such a fierce job market in Switzerland at the moment, Paul and Christian explore the true cost of a wrong hire on a company, as well as the ways that candidates can stand out in the interview process. Although he's not keen on the video approach, Christian does feel that the digitised recruitment process should be married with a human touch.  Finally, we discuss the impact of Business Intelligence (BI) and Data on the Finance function. Although Christian believes that technology can dramatically improve productivity in certain areas, such as Accounting, focussing on organising your people in highly effective teams is a bigger focus for companies.   If there's a specific part of the episode you're looking for, please use the timestamps below: 01:16: The 2 positives Christian has taken from COVID-1905:35: “Take care of the people”10:06: Why Christian hasn't made it in his career… yet16:24: How to manage your attention & energy21:39: The true cost of a wrong hire23:27: How to stand out in a job interview27:17: The ideal recruiter31:16: How productivity will be affected by BI & Data37:07: Why business is a team sport40:17: How to reach out to Christian If you'd like to message Christian on LinkedIn, please find his profile here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wurzinger/   EMEA Recruitment is proud to support Operation Smile through the podcast. Street preaching is exciting and effective, and more Christians should be doing it. But what happens when you're out on the street and someone asks you a question you can't answer? Today we're going to talk about that.    1 Peter 3:15 tells Christians to "always [be] ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you...." So, how ready are you to defend your hope in Jesus Christ? Could you do it on the street, with a passerby?   Street preaching understandably freaks Christians out,  (a) because people tend to be more terrified of public speaking than of death, and  (b) because of the risks of that kind of encounter.  What if the skeptic you're talking to knows more about the Bible than you? What if it's a Muslim who really knows her theology? We fear making fools of ourselves, misrepresenting Christ, or even having our own faith challenged. Not fun. Many say they don't like street preaching, because it's "unloving" or "turns people off from the Gospel," but perhaps the real reason so many don't tend to like street preaching boils down to fear. And guess what: the risks are real.   So is there a way to overcome that fear? Is there an approach to defending the Christian message on the street—call it Street Apologetics—that can enable a Christian to feel confident enough to truly answer anyone?    In this episode you will learn specifically about:   The theology behind street preaching.   What kind(s) of Christians should be out on the street.   How to handle objections and tough questions while street evangelizing.    Whether Presuppositional Apologetics is the best method for street apologetics.   Why Christian men who like MMA should try street preaching (wait till the end for this). Today's guest is Ryan Denton, co-author of the fantastic book, A Certain Sound: A Primer on Open Air Preaching. Ryan Denton has his BA in Philosophy and English from the University of New Mexico and his MA in Liberal Arts from St. John's College. He founded Christ in the Wild Ministries in 2016 while serving as a Pastor in Navajo Nation, NM. Since then he has been engaged in gospel proclamation in the "wild" on a daily basis. With all the social taboos on the topic, we often don’t talk about the realities of sex enough. Because of long-ingrained messages of shame, sex just isn’t as enjoyable for many as it could be. Today’s guest is on a mission to break down the misconceptions and help women make the intimate and pleasurable sexual connections they desire.   About Dr. Celeste Holbrook Dr. Celeste Holbrook is a sexologist, speaker, and author. Through her work, designing sexual and spiritual strategies, she helps her clients evolve into the women they were created to be. She covers a variety of topics from sex drives, sexual shame, creating better connections, wellness, and so much more. Her mission is to educate women on how to improve their relationship and sex life as well as grow in confidence, spirituality, and love. Dr. Celeste has been featured in Women's Health Magazine, Mothers of Preschoolers, Reader's Digest, and many more.   Erasing the Shame of Sexuality So many of the hangups concerning sex are rooted in shame. Celeste and I dive into why this is. Often, it’s simply because sex isn’t talked about openly. And when it is, there are too often negative connotations associated with it. As a result, sexual shame can manifest in many indirect ways, such as low libido, pain, and feelings of low self-worth.  With purity culture as part of the upbringings of many Christians, many unintended messages have been ingrained in us concerning sex. The idea that premarital sex is bad or dangerous and that your body is not entirely yours can do some real harm. However, it’s never too late to unlearn these lessons and take control of your sexuality.   Eliminating Societal Pressure When it comes down to it, connecting and finding pleasure with your partner is usually the goal of sex. To help others achieve this, Celeste teaches women to unlearn the lie that their bodies are solely responsible for the pleasure of a sexual experience. Rather, sex is a way for two people to mutually experience pleasure together.  Celeste explains how eliminating societal pressures surrounding sex is the key to making it pleasurable. The fact of the matter is, having good sex is a life-long learning process. There are things that must be unlearned and others that need to be intentionally practiced and relearned over time. How have you had to unlearn negative messages about sex? 866-988-8311 info@republickeeper.com Why Christian’s can’t vote Democrat – Reason #2 – It makes you disloyal to Jesus What is a Christian https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/religious-liberals-want-to-change-what-it-means-to-be-a-christian-voter “There’s a saying: ‘Religion is always political but never partisan,’” said Nikira Hernandez-Evans, the pastor at Plymouth Church. Hernandez-Evans said she’s comfortable preaching about specific issues, but isn’t planning on discussing 2020 politics with her congregants. As the pastor of a “progressive Christian congregation,” she added, “it is not ever my job to tell people what to believe.” During the 2016 Republican primaries, Pope Francis said Trump’s anti-immigrant worldview made him “not a Christian.” “When people say ‘Christian voters’ they mean white people and they mean conservatives” who likely oppose abortion and gay marriage, said Natalie Harwood, a member of the First Unitarian Church of Des Moines. Harwood works at a Planned Parenthood clinic and is a diehard supporter of Senator Bernie Sanders. She’s also a person of faith. Given her values, Harwood said, “‘Christian voters’ is a very alienating term. I fall into those categories. But I don’t feel like I’m a part of that, even though I’m Christian.” In the 2016 general election, 63 percent of Iowa voters who supported Hillary Clinton were Protestant or Catholic. She won 33 percent of the vote among Iowans who said they attend religious services one or more times a week. “I don’t care what a candidate’s faith is,” said Nathan Kirstein, who works at an organization that advocates for people with disabilities. The more important question for him, Kirstein said, was whether a candidate’s platform matched up with his own faith principles of fairness and compassion. “Whether you’re Muslim, Hindu, atheist, it doesn’t matter. What are your values?” “Values and character and moral compass are important to me, and rise above electability,” said Deborah Svec-Carstens, a state government lawyer who is pursuing a master’s degree at the Iowa School of Theology. The group’s pastor agreed. “My faith informs me,” Naomi Kirstein said. A candidate “doesn’t have to say ‘I’m Christian’ for me to vote for them. But I want to hear how their issues — because of my faith — connect to the poor, the oppressed, taking care of the earth.” “When I look at the Republican Party, and what Jesus says in the Bible, I see no similarity at all,” Heideman said. Scheffler felt the same way about Democrats. “As a bible-bleeding evangelical, I believe the scriptures are not open to interpretation,” Scheffler said. Progressive Christians “don’t preach the gospel. They preach a social doctrine of whatever fits their personal agenda.” Christians on the left view society’s ills through a “collectivist” lens, she said, while those on the right typically see the same problems in individualistic terms. Of course, liberals have argued for decades that the conservative position ignores systemic racism and other forms of structural inequality. What is a loyal democrat? Christian Deconstructionists Ten commandments monuments etc. Replacement religion is ready to go - Scientism Humanism Enviromentalism How long before Christmas and Easter are removed from the calendar? Our schools have become places open to anything except traditional Christianity Christians are pressured not to reveal their faith or risk ridicule. Anti- Marriage The Democrat Party, as you know, also considers the deconstruction of traditional marriage to be one of its crowning achievements. Meanwhile, Jesus explicitly defined marriage as a covenant between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:5), and Scripture more than once condemns homosexual relationships as "degrading," "unrighteous," and "depraved" (1 Corinthians 6:9, Romans 1:26). Granted, the Bible condemns all forms of fornication -- homosexual or otherwise -- and many (all?) Christians of every political persuasion have struggled to obey these difficult commandments. But can we, as Christians, fundamentally deny God's authority in this area? It is one thing to stumble, but can we say, "Man can do what he pleases in the realm of sexuality and it is not a sin because God was mistaken"? Yes, we can certainly say that, but can we say it as Christians? This is what the Democrat Party stands for now. It asserts the absolute supremacy of the human will. It strives for a society where the whims of the individual not only override every previously existing law, institution, and tradition, but are celebrated as sacrosanct. Say what you want about that, but you cannot say that it is Christian. Perhaps nothing better encapsulates the new Democratic creed than its most recent cause du jour, transgenderism. Although the Bible tells us that we were made male and female (Genesis 5:2), the Democrat Party declares that a man exercises total agency over his own biology, and that citizens should be forced by law to recognize and affirm his self-centered delusions.

Today’s podcast welcomes back coach Christian Thibaudeau to the podcast.  Christian has been a strength coach for nearly 2 decades, working with athletes from nearly 30 sports.  He has written four books and has pioneered multiple educational courses, including the Neuro-typing system, which goes in-depth on how to train athletes in the weight room (and beyond) based on their own individual dispositions. Christian has been a 4-time prior guest on the podcast, and is a true wealth of information.  Our recent episode, #208, had lots of great information about the topic of adrenaline as an over-training marker, as well as how to manage this hormone in the course of programming and the workout session.  One thing that I had hoped to cover on that episode, but missed out on due to time constraints, was to get into Christian’s take on using the 3-muscle phases (concentric, isometric, eccentric) in training athletes. Emphasizing various muscle phases in training is certainly nothing new.  My own training design for athletes is often based on a hybrid of 14-day squat cycles, along with elements of the “Triphasic Training” system.  Christian has been using rep-style emphasis in his programming for two decades, and has loads of practical ideas and training examples that can help us get a better understanding of these methods.  You won’t find a more comprehensive episode out there on training using various contraction types than this one, as well as how each type fits into the individual characteristics and response of each athlete. Finally, although not required, I’d recommend you check out episode 77 with Christian, which is a tremendous overview of the 5 different types of athlete according to their response and preference to training means and methods. Today’s episode is brought to you by SimpliFaster, supplier of high-end athletic development tools, such as the Freelap timing system, kBox, Sprint 1080, and more. Becoming comfortable in investing in yourself is something many Christian women struggle with. You need to know that you are worthy of investment and riches and that God has actually designed you to achieve them. I’m joined by Sara Anna Powers, my own business coach, to talk about how she transitioned from an anorexic law student to a 6-figure entrepreneur. About Sara Anna Powers Sara Anna is a Success Coach and The Copy Couturier™ who works with motivated, dedicated, and faith-filled entrepreneurs who are ready to pursue their powerful purpose. Sara Anna tells us the story of how she transitioned from someone who struggled with anorexia to a successful 6-figure businesswoman. Sara Anna explains how it was actually some of the personality traits that made anorexia and binge eating a reality for her are the same ones that enable her to succeed in her business. She attributes much of her college experience to how her eating disorder developed and sustained. Sara Anna eventually reached out to her parents to get into rehab for her recovery. Sara Anna tells us about the transformation she experienced when she stopped being hyper-focused on what food she was eating all the time. And now that she’s not obsessively tracking everything, Sara Anna eats whatever she wants, especially when she knows it will fuel her body and give her the energy her body needs. For Sara Anna, it was when she completely reframed the reasons she was following a healthier lifestyle and exercise routine that her life shifted. By realizing that she was doing it for a healthier body and to feel and perform her best, she freed herself from the obsession that comes with what you look like. One of the aspects of training Sara Anna changed was the frequency and duration of how much she was exercising. She was exercising hard at the gym for two hours a time, nearly every day. But by scaling that back, Sara Anna has discovered all the life that’s out there waiting for her outside the gym. Sara Anna is a Christian woman who is no stranger to investing in herself. Starting with her eating disorder recovery, then investing thousands of dollars in coaching for the first iteration of her online business, to now where she is working with high-level business coaches.  Sara Anna believes that Christian women can be rich in all areas of their lives, including their bank accounts. This is one of the reasons she encourages women to invest in themselves. Each investment has made Sara Anna reach a higher level so she can serve more faith-based women better than before. Imagine what your life could look like when you overcome whatever challenge you’re facing. What are you doing? Let me know in the comments on the episode page!   Got a question you’d love to hear me answer on the show? Leave me a voice message here!   In This Episode What traits common in anorexia are applicable to succeeding in business How college life can contribute to eating disorders What your life can be like when you’re not hyper-focused on your weight all the time Why you should eat foods that you want to and that fuel your energy What happens when you reframe your health and wellness routine to help you feel your best not look your best Why you should look at why you’re exercising frequently and for long periods of time Why Christian women can be rich in all areas of their life Why you should invest in yourself   Quotes “You’re still you. And you’re still loved. I loved you at 140lbs, and I loved you at 103lbs, and I loved you at 220lbs. The fact that your weight has changed doesn’t change who you are at your core.” (8:15) “The key is to call it out for what it is and nip in the bud as soon as possible and really learn how to love yourself and truly appreciate yourself, not just for the external but for who you are.” (21:57) “I think you cannot go wrong by investing in yourself when you know that it is God calling you to do that.” (44:28) “Your mental, physical, and spiritual health is actually beneficial to not only you but also the people around you.” (50:13)   Links Find Sara Anna Powers Online Follow Sara Anna Powers on Instagram | Facebook | Twitter | Pinterest Sign up for James Wedmore's Business By Design video series! In our 2nd episode in our mental health series, Holly and I chat with our guest Dr. Barbara Lowe about recovering from trauma, finding healing, and getting support for mental health. In addition to sharing her own story, Dr. Barbara also gives us some practical tips and tools to deal with our own mental health, as well as how to help guide and lead others if they are struggling.  We cover why leaders often don’t reach out for help with mental health, what to do if someone is depressed or suicidal, and more. "Plant medicine and breath were the mandate to bring Rythmia into existence." Welcome to NION Radio! Today's episode is another part of my series on plant medicine and the wonderful people I've met through my journey with it. Our guest today is Christian Minson, the Director of Breathwork at Rythmia. The time he has spent with breathwork has made him an expert in the field and an invaluable asset at Rythmia, elevating people to higher states and aiding the work of the plant medicine through the breath. Since starting his work as a monk in the hills of West Los Angeles, Christian has always been looking for a higher purpose and an elevated state of consciousness. Soon after leaving his lifestyle as a monk, he started going deeply into breathwork and learned how much it can help you heal, and the simple but profound power of it moved him. Christian's work at Rythmia is a culmination of his years of practice and research, and through his work, he has impacted and accelerated the learning of every participant he has worked with there. Listen in to learn what breathwork is, how it is working with the brain and your consciousness, and how you can use it to elevate your creativity. You can Subscribe and Listen to the Podcast on Apple Podcasts. And please leave me a Rating and Review! "What our body, mind, and soul runs on is prana. How Baptism Shapes Our Identity and Culture

Whether we are aware of it or not, everyone is being "baptized." While the church baptizes believers in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the culture is baptizing us into the trinitarian values of consumption, production, and acquisition. This week on the Lifeschool Podcast we talk with author and pastor Eric Peterson and get a pastoral perspective on the power of baptism to lead people deeply into a more sacred way of life. When we operate out of our identity–believing that we are God’s beloved children and that our heavenly Dad is really pleased with us–we can live in freedom and a deeper connection to others, seeing everyone as part of the same divine family. No longer do we need to prove our worth or importance or earn our Fathers affection. In This Episode You’ll Learn: How our culture is constantly “baptizing” us in ways we may not be aware of. Why Christian baptism reshapes our identity and worldview. How the Church today has largely lost the full significance and power of baptism. Ways to embrace the implications of your baptism throughout each day. (http://getpodcast.reviews/id/1209249450) (http://getpodcast.reviews/id/1209249450) From this episode: “Pay attention to how often water is present and its importance in your daily life. Let it remind you, like the sacrament of your baptism, that you are now immersed into your true and restored trinitarian identity. You can now live as a full-fledged member of God’s family of missionary servants, sent as a disciple of Jesus into your world to make more disciples...filling the world with God’s glory.”   Each week the Big 3 will give you immediate action steps to get you started. At this point in my Rythmia journey, I’ve already received a tremendous gift – I found my true purpose – but we’re still not done yet. Because we have two more incredible healers to meet in this episode: R. Christian Minson, the resident Director of the Breathwork Program at Rythmia Life Advancement Center, and Dr. Jeff McNairy, the Chief Medical Officer at Rythmia. Christian practices Transformational Breath, a practice that harnesses the power of your own innate healing capacity through cutting edge breathing techniques that access deeper amounts of life force energy, helping you to connect with yourself emotionally, physically, and spiritually. With Christian as your guide, the breathing brings you on insightful journeys that open you up to life changing events and shifts in consciousness. The results are meditative states of deep peace, energized enthusiasm for life, and an opening to the mystical realms of consciousness. It’s hard to believe that something so transformational can come from breath until you experience it, but it’s impossible to forget once you do. Christian was originally called to be a healer because he experienced the power of breathwork first hand – and if you listened to part one of my Rythmia journey, you can probably tell that this is a common theme here at Rythmia; the healed become the healers. And this is, at its essence, what Rythmia offers visitors: the opportunity to discover the light worker or light warrior essence within. Because when your light shines a bit brighter, you’re able to go out in the world and be of greater service. But this probably wouldn’t be possible or safe if it weren’t for Jeff McNairy, who has been working in the healthcare field for 25 years. He’s seen, over and over again, people struggling to heal because the current Western system of healthcare is simply deficient. It is more concerned with managing symptoms and prescribing “medicine” than healing. However, through working with some of the most intense patient populations – including those who struggle with addiction and trauma, like Rythmia co-founder Gerard Powell – he has seen that the only real healing can come from within; you have to find the root cause of your unhappiness, health concern, and discontent, then resolve it. And in working with Gerry and everyone else who has visited Rythmia since it opened, Jeff has seen that one plant medicine session conducted in a safe, clinically appropriate environment can be as effective as 10 years of psychotherapy. Like breathwork, it’s hard to believe that plant medicines can be so transformational – and then you experience it under the right conditions. It’s ancient modalities meeting modern psychology, all in the jungles of Costa Rica, and I invite you to come join me for the rest of this wild, profound, and emotional ride.   Topics Discussed With Christian: What breathwork is & how it can help you in ways that yoga can’t Why Christian became a monk for a decade (and then made the transition back to being a worldly person) How the healers at Rythmia help visitors find the light warrior essence within them What separates Transformational Breath from the hundreds of other breathwork practices out there Rebirthing through breath Plant medicine and breathwork both open up the door to consciousness – but breathwork opens the door and gently beckons you in while plant medicine grabs you and shoves you through the doorway The benefits of integrating a natural habitat into your spiritual experiences How breathwork works with plant medicine to evolve your experience & help you claim it as your own   Topics Discussed With Jeff: How the staff at Rythmia ensures that the plant medicine experience is safe for everyone involved A lot of what we call mental illness is just people in pain without any way to process that pain Using a drug to get off drugs (AKA why plant medicine is so effective for treating addiction) How it it possible that I had a psychedelic experience and, now, feel even more committed to being sober? (Trust me, that would never happen after a bump of coke...) When Jeff first met Gerry, who was then a very different person than the person you met in the last episode, and their transformational entré into the world of plant medicines The difference between iboga and ayahuasca, experientially and physically A common thread of trauma that has rippled throughout my life, especially my romantic life How the plant medicine helps you work through your own trauma and start the healing process We can’t connect with other people until we get connected with ourselves Why Rythmia accepts people who are shunned or devalued in many Western medical facilities due to their particular mental illness What science is starting to learn about the pineal gland & DMT How a dog helped me find God The three intentions that will help you find everything you’re looking for at Rhythmia   More about this episode. Episode 9. Unity In Marriage -   Be Of The Same Mind. Obey the call of God. Today there are so many Christians couples ending there relationships in divorce. This is very grieving to the Holy Spirit.  The common reason we see this, is because husband and wife are not sold out for God. Either one or the other or both are compromising on the call of God, they are worldly. Download The Episode Here. We read in James chapter 4 that the reason for wars and fights among each other is because of worldly pleasures. Lovers of the world. As we learned from the previous 2 episodes on a godly conduct of a husband and wife. In this episode I conclude on this series on marriage by teaching from the scriptures on the purpose of marriage and the consequence of divorce and re-marriage. I conclude the episode with a testimony of a very profound vision that I had about compromising on the call of God for my family. It was shocking so stay tuned. I speak on... Is marriage a covenant. (4:23)   What breaks a covenant. It's not divorce. (6:52)   Divorce and re-marriage is adultery. (9:20)    What does Paul mean when he says, your not under bondage in such cases. 1 Cor 7:15. (25:36)   Why Christian marriage's end in divorce. (28:30)   Why get married then. 2 reasons. (41:17)   Why does God hate divorce. (42:55)   God provides for a family who has forsaken all. (46:13)   The consequence of adultery. (54:35)    Plus... a word of wisdom from a brother who manages a Christian collage,  What to do if your wanting a spouse,  What if you were divorced before you got born again.  And a very powerful testimony of a vision that I had concerning compromising and what happened in my marriage  in response to that vision. It will give you a fear of God. People will leave you.  (1:01:58) This is a long one, but I encourage to stick it out to the end. It is loaded with truth that will set you and those you know free. Enjoy.  God Bless your marriage.                                                         Resources.    If you want others to help you or to have some like minded fellowship then go to. As the Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO of Tradeshift, Christian Lanng is on the front lines of the technology evolution, and he gets to see first-hand the impact that innovative technology is having – and will have - on the enterprise. In today’s Art of Procurement podcast, I sit down with Christian to understand what this will mean for procurement. If Christian’s vision materializes, it will mean a seismic shift is in store for our profession over the next 10 years. In this episode, you will learn: Why the measure of procurement’s success will become the cost to change suppliers, not the cost savings achieved from your existing suppliers. Why we will stop buying products and services, and start buying outcomes. How we will need to think more like a data scientist, analyzing new and expanding sources of information to determine the projects and transactions that matter, and that require human interaction. How organizations will transition from current delivery models to accessing procurement talent on-demand, using talent marketplaces. Why Christian believes that procurement leaders can turn their retained staff into a profit center by selling that expertize to non-competitors. The benefits of a platform & applications approach when building your procurement technology infrastructure. Why we are already in the "summer" of bots, and why AI will be the technology that has the biggest impact on procurement. Why the procurement professional of the future will need to be "problem solvers" and "opportunists". For more information, visit: http://artofprocurement.com/tradeshift
