In deze uitzending van de Corine van Zoelen podcast interview ik Mariet Bakker Mariët Bakker is de organisator van Nederland GIC 2024 Is sinds 2010 yogadocent en ademwerker. Opgeleid in Transformational Breath. Sinds 2020 is zij verbonden aan de Adem en Bewustzijn Academie waar ze samenwerkt met Wilna Eenkhoorn en anderen om nieuwe ademwerkers op te leiden. Giccer sinds 2012. In haar vorige leven was ze oprichter en directeur van Africa in the Picture, een filmfestival gewijd aan Afrikaanse cinema. Zij is dit jaar druk bezig met de organisatie van de eerste GIC in Nederland. Ze kijkt er naar uit dat er zo veel mogelijk Nederlandse ademwerkers naar de GIC komen, omdat het een unieke gelegenheid is om te delen en uit te wisselen. OVER DE GIC: die plaatsvindt van 27 juli tot en met 3 augustus 2024 in Berg en Dal. Introductie tot de Global Inspiration Conference(GIC): een plek om de kracht van ademwerk te leren kennen. De GIC is een ademwerk event die een week duurt en wordt georganiseerd door de International Breathwork Foundation (IBF). Het is een bijeenkomst van pioniers, hun opvolgers en liefhebbers van adem uit alle hoeken van de wereld. Het vindt plaats in een natuurlijke omgeving, elk jaar in een ander land. In 2023 vond de GIC plaats in Kenia, met als thema 'Breathing Peace in the Heart of Africa' (Vrede ademen in het hart van Afrika). In het jaar 2024 nodigen we je uit om de 30e verjaardag van de GIC in Nederland te vieren met een groots evenement: '30 Jaar GIC: Celebrating the Diversity in Breathwork'. De GIC biedt door haar horizontale structuur een bijzondere kans om te verbinden, samen te werken en te groeien met gelijkgestemde collega's. Creator of Transformational Breath®, Founder of the Transformational Breath Fdn. Dr. Judith Kravitz is an ordained minister, Doctor of Metaphysics and author of the book, Breathe Deep, Laugh Loudly, has worked extensively with the breath as an agent of transformation and healing since the mid 1970s. She has helped hundreds of thousands of people in group and individual sessions, and trained thousands of Breath Facilitators and Trainers. In 1994, she founded the Transformational Breath Foundation and its training programs, and still serves as its Executive Director. A mother of eight, she has taught at the college level, and appeared on 50+ television or radio programs. Eines der am wenigsten bekannten, aber jederzeit zugänglichen und stärksten Werkzeuge für unsere innere Arbeit ist der Atem. Leider wissen die meisten Menschen nicht um die Fähigkeiten und speziell die heilenden Funktionen unseres Atems bescheid. Das Erste und auch das Letzte was wir in unserem Leben tun - zu atmen - unsere "Life Force", ohne die kein Leben möglich wäre, dient dabei als Tool, um alte Muster in uns Selbst zu transformieren. Annette Fehse hatte eine wichtige Rolle bei unserem letzten Psilocybin Retreat in den Niederlanden indem Sie am Ankunftstag für die Teilnehmer eine 3h Breathwork Sitzung leitete. Wir sprechen heute über die transformative Kraft unseres Atems und welche physischen, emotionalen und spirituellen Kräfte freigesetzt werden können, wenn wir das “verbundene Atmen” für eine längere Zeit durchführen. Eigenverantwortung, Traumarelease, Annehmen von Widerstand und Vertrauen auf den eigenen Körper und dessen Heilungskräfte sind alles wichtige Lernfaktoren, die dabei als Vorbereitung für die hochdosierte Pilzerfahrung im Anschluss dienen. Ihr hört zudem Beispiele zu diversen Heilerfahrungen ihrer Schüler und warum es auch als "Shortcut to enlightenment” gesehen wird. Ihr bekommt Tipps für den Alltag wie ihr besser mit dem Atem die in euch ruhende Lebensenergie lenken und aktivieren könnt. Annette wird uns auch bei den kommenden 3 Retreats in 2022 unterstützen. In this episode I speak with Hayley Cannon about the healing power of Transformational breath. We discuss how breathing in a specific way with added pressure points and affirmations can aid in recovering from sexual trauma and how this breath can help open us up to the idea of love and sex.    About Hayley Growing up I loved to write and play musical instruments. For as long as I can remember I've expressed myself through journalling, poetry, lyrics and in 2015 I released my first album titled Who Are You?, juggling music around my work as a Creative Strategist at busy advertising agencies. It was a milestone for me. I was fortunate enough to be introduced by Tom Robinson on BBC6 Music and be reviewed by media outlets including The Guardian. I don't mind telling you that it was challenging getting up on stage, being seen and singing about my inner-most thoughts. Yet I can't imagine life without having had that experience. Songwriting helped me get comfortable sharing my authentic self and the creative process makes a great container for emotions, a place to meet them with curiosity and acceptance.​   I consider creativity to be a healing path and after experiencing this first-hand I was hooked on personal transformation. I studied counselling at Birkbeck University and psychotherapy at Regents. I learned how the unconscious mind impacts our behaviour and how unintegrated trauma can live inside our system if it goes unchecked. I practiced holding safe spaces where people could feel their feelings and I learned to trust in the validity of every emotion that surfaces - to view their coming to pass as a natural, necessary part of growth.   From here I trained in Transformational Breath®, a powerful practice that processes and resolves past hurts by acting directly on your physiology and expanding conscious awareness. My own experiences with this technique have been profound. States of bliss that shook my heart and cracked it open, connectedness to all that's bigger than myself and enduring, elevated perspective. I'm now qualified to facilitate Transformational Breath® sessions online, which can also include personal coaching at the client's request. 2012 lernt die Hamburger Künstlerin Christine Schmid bei einem Transformationsworkshop in Costa Rica eine Frau kennen, die ihr von Transformational Breath erzählt. Sie ist sofort Feuer und Flamme: Ohne jemals auf die Website geschaut zu haben, räumt sie ihr Bausparkonto ab und beginnt die Ausbildung. Transformational Breath ist eine Atemmethode, die von Dr. Judith Kravitz entwickelt wurde. Es ist eine Bauch-Zwerchfell-Atmung, bei der ohne Pause ein- und ausgeatmet wird. Anhand der bodymap, der Landkarte des Körpers, können sogenannte Atemräume, die verschlossen sind, gelesen, analysiert und bearbeitet werden. Über Körperberührung werden diese verschlossenen Räume wieder geöffnet und es wird Freiheit im Körper geschaffen. Transformational Breath is a type of conscious connected breathing. It's a breathing awareness practice, and it's also a breath control practice. Essentially we breathe in what I'd describe as a conscious, rhythmic way where we don't pause between the inhale and the exhale. So we breathe in one continuous loop. And this type of breathing can help us tap into altered states. At this point in my Rythmia journey, I’ve already received a tremendous gift – I found my true purpose – but we’re still not done yet. Because we have two more incredible healers to meet in this episode: R. Christian Minson, the resident Director of the Breathwork Program at Rythmia Life Advancement Center, and Dr. Jeff McNairy, the Chief Medical Officer at Rythmia. Christian practices Transformational Breath, a practice that harnesses the power of your own innate healing capacity through cutting edge breathing techniques that access deeper amounts of life force energy, helping you to connect with yourself emotionally, physically, and spiritually. In today’s episode, we welcome to the show Francesca Joy Blechner. Francesca started out in the Health and Fitness industry as a Personal Trainer in 2001, working all hours of the day, eventually bringing herself to the edge of burnout many times!! She always loved what she did but she was exhausting herself. In her early 30’s she hit a crossroads in her life, she felt really stuck, overwhelmed, anxious and experienced fear of moving forward in her life. She was dissatisfied with the traditional approach to fitness on just training for aesthetics, with little regard to the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of wellbeing. With a thirst for knowledge and love of studying, she trained with the CHEK Institute in Holistic Lifestyle Coaching, yoga, meditation, Transformational Breath®, and various bodywork techniques, linking how emotional states show up in the body. After her training in a bodywork technique called Be Activated, with Douglas Heel in 2015, she was forced to reevaluate her life and the pace she was living, as she says she felt ‘drunk for a week’ after her nervous system went into a complete reboot and forced me to rest. Through her 19 years of experience she has now designed her own system drawing on the various modalities she has studied, addressing postural imbalances, breathing dysfunction, emotional and mental blockages, lifestyle challenges to facilitate a transformation of health at every level. "The person that I date" aka David joined me this week to discuss some developments relating to our communication style after I returned from a Transformational Breath facilitator training (IVB). Basically, what I learned at my training was my severe need to start practicing "bottom lining" (say what you mean/mean what you say and say it concisely and to the point.) We also discussed the patterns of shutting down in communication and our new method of "stop, drop and breathe", if we feel the pattern coming on. People tell me that this was a really solid content podcast. I hope you get to learn from my mistakes!

Aingeal Rose & Ahonu interview Christian Minson on his transformational breath business called BreathFlow. Why do you do what you do? At early age there was a spark inside me that there had to be more to life than what I was currently experiencing.Seeking deeper meaning consumed my focus, so I became a monk as a result. I focused on expanding consciousness in meditation. I realized that life is a special path, whether we know it or not. It is the evolution of consciousness. It is the true purpose of life. I believe that life is two forces, one that takes us apart, one that brings us together. After years of meditation, I was introduced to breathwork. Breathwork is a powerful tool for bringing together. It has the same effect as meditation, but accelerated and not as tough. The common element to meditation is the focus on breath. It took me down deep quickly. It is also accessible to more people without any religious overlay or dogma. It is a tool that helped me and it can help others, everyone in fact. I couldn't help but want to share it. You have an interesting background could you reveal a little for us? I am a military brat. I have a cosmopolitan attitude and a love of travel. I was a graphic designer for the sex toy industry but I was very discontent and unhappy, so I became a monk. After that I became an international breathworker and I now teach in Mexico, Cananda, all over the USA, in Moscow, Berlin and Bulgaria. Where did you learn your skills as a breathworker? Judith Kravitz is my mentor. She has the largest breath school on the planet. I learned in 2006 and since then I spent over 1000 hours working with her personally as her right hand man, in her semainrs as well as leading my own workshops as a senior trainer. My own Journey with breathwork and challenges commonly faced. Common challenges that were mine too: Feeling disconnected, desiring deep connection with spirit, facing huge crossroads decision, needing clarity, managing anxiety under extreme circumstances. What is your philosophy behind breathwork? It is an holistic approach to life. We are endowed with all the tools we need to thrive in this life, and breath is a tool/instrument and a map.  It is a map for assessment of our state. Life is a flow. Holding on dams that flow, while breathwork breaks the dam. As a tool: We are spiritual beings having a human experience. Our goal is evolution back to our spirit nature. There is an interface between physical and spiritual. A portal. That is the breath. As spiritual teacher P. Yogananda stated "Breath is the cord that ties the soul to the flesh." How do YOU facilitate a breath session, differently than others? Part coaching, part breath experience. Inherently spiritual bent. Tune in with needs of individual, focus directly on that. Read the breath. Grounded sense, hold down while storms of emotions pass, energetic exchange at end with feet. Come back, share the experience and what I saw in breath. What is so important about the breath? Eastern sages and mystics have known and used the power of the breath for centuries. It is the cord that ties the soul to flesh. Do we really need to learn how to breathe? We all walk but sometimes it needs correction. In the same way, 90% of us have some issues with our breathing. What is Transformational Breath® (TB)? It is a powerful, safe self-healing technique… physical, emotional, spiritual benefits. What makes TB better than other modalities out there for healing and personal growth? Last time we were in Ireland, every Sunday morning we went to our great friend Murt O'Briens house in Wicklow town.
