Join Andrew and the esteemed dream scholar and prolific author Robert Moss in a vast journey into the underworld of dreams. The conversation begins with a State of the Union address concerning the world of dreams, and a look at how Robert's relationship to dreams has changed over decades of work. “Dreaming is traveling,” he says, and we can bridge inner and outer realities with our journeys, bringing gifts from the dream world back to waking life. What is “Kairomancy,” and how we can we learn to read the sign language of reality by paying attention to synchronicities? Can you navigate through life with this form of divination, and when does the derivation of meaning cross the line into the imputation of meaning, as typified in paranoia? Where do lucid dreams fit in for Robert, and why is “conscious dreaming” a better term? Is it dangerous to try to control our dreams, and what are some of the shadow sides of lucid dreaming? Robert discusses the importance of daimons in our lives, the place of meditation in the world of dreaming, and why shamans are essentially dreamers. What about the place of imagination, the power of the unconscious mind, and the phenomenon of anamnesis? How can we use dreams to awaken to the dreamlike nature of reality? Robert and I share a number of personal reflections about our dream lives, and how our views have evolved over the years. See for yourself why Robert is one of the leading statesmen for dreams in the world today. About Robert Moss: Robert has been a dream traveler since doctors pronounced him clinically dead in a hospital in Hobart, Tasmania, when he was three years old. From his experiences in many worlds, he created his School of Active Dreaming, his original synthesis of modern dreamwork and ancient shamanic and mystical practices for journeying to realms beyond the physical and growing creative imagination. Robert Moss is a dream teacher and the creator of Active Dreaming, an original synthesis of dreamwork and shamanic methods of journeying and healing. A former lecturer in ancient history at the Australian National University, he is a best-selling novelist, journalist, and independent scholar. A central premise of Robert's approach is that dreaming isn't just what happens during sleep; dreaming is waking up to sources of guidance, healing and creativity beyond the reach of the everyday mind. We discuss dreaming as a form of travelling, how there are different types of dreams, and his initiation into other realities. We consider dream etiquette, the transformational power of symbolism and imagery, and the potential diagnostic function of dreams. Robert shares the idea of dreams as a form of soul communication, and how we can learn to “talk and walk our dreams”. We consider what aspect of ourselves might survive physical death, the subtle or astral body as the vehicle of dreaming, and the importance of psychic protection. He shares the great importance of dreaming in many cultures, and how in indigenous North America the dominant word for shaman (and also for healer or spiritual elder) means dreamer. Robert has published twelve books on dreaming, shamanism and imagination, including Conscious Dreaming: A Spiritual Path for Everyday Life (Harmony, 1996) - his first and foundational book introducing his marriage of shamanism and dreamwork. Born in Australia, Robert survived three near-death experiences in childhood. He has led seminars at the Esalen Institute, Kripalu, the Omega Institute, the New York Open Center and many others, and offers a three-year training for teachers of Active Dreaming. He has appeared on many TV and radio shows, including the Today Show and Coast to Coast. His books have been published in more than twenty foreign languages.www.mossdreams.comLiked what you heard? There is a fun state of dreaming that we can control called Lucid Dreaming - within this state of dreaming we can mold the dream to become our every desire. It can certainly be fun, as we become like superhero's, but it's not where we get the best level of progression and learning. That comes from "Conscious Dreaming," where we call upon our higher self to come instruct and "do the work" within the dream state. I love the actual physical act of dreaming, but I also am a fan of consciously dreaming up new ideas and new thoughts about how I might be if I tried out something new.By thinking about how I might feel or act if I already had what I think I want now, it lets me understand if there's a deeper need underneath my desires, or if I already have a lot of what I want.Conscious dreaming also lets me figure out how to amplify the feelings I want to have more of and attract more of that into my daily experience. It doesn't happen haphazardly, it happens with conscious effort and making myself aware of opportunities and thoughts as they arise.Daydreaming always felt so much more important than adults told me when I was a kid, and now I think many adults like me resonate with vision-boarding our ideas to make them a reality. It's what our species is built to do – we LOVE to dream! And it turns out, dreaming serves a big purpose, to help us come up with the ways we will achieve our goals, merge with the feelings we want to create more of, and have fun along the way. What are you dreaming about this year? I hope it is fun! Be easy with yourself as you take the small steps towards making it a reality - slower is faster! We discuss why we felt called to write, how books can be like babies, and the ways releasing our books made us more resilient. We also talk about how both our books are invitations to move at a slower, earth-pace.Our conversation is a call to recognize the postpartum grief that comes when you release a creative work. Awareness and Consciousness Podcast

The mind is dreaming all the time. It is dreaming when you are awake, and when you are asleep. The consciousness process involves waking up from these dreams that run through your head. Most often they appear as narrative stories. What will change your life is when you take charge of the dreams in your mind during the day instead of allowing them to dream you. He discusses Conscious Dreaming, Soul Travel, Engrams, Sleep Deprivation, and related subjects. “Why does the body age?” is the second topic. Patrick is writing a book about it. Patrick discusses the latest Trump/Biden debate. “Carbon is not a problem,” says Patrick, discussing Biden’s stance on electric vehicles. People ask questions about the AquaCure hydrogen machine. Yawning is discussed. Does the body age because we believe in time?; Patrick elaborates about how we create “time.” Atom writes in about the lungs being the pump, not the heart, according to the work of M.J. Rodermund, 120 or more years ago. Several listeners ask about teeth problems. Patrick discusses a personal experience. Atom writes in about Gilbert Ling using ouabain as one of his proofs that there’s no such thing as a sodium pump. Listeners write in about Carolyn Bormann discussing hydrogen on a previous One Radio Network show. A listener asks a question about Richard Proctor and his One Radio Network interview (Oct. 15, 2020), specifically about electoral vote certification. Patrick discusses Richard Proctor’s book, Saving the Constitution (2019). A listener writes in about nuclear energy’s role in the Great Reset. Patrick and Shawn discuss the U.S. as corporation, U.S. legal versus lawful courts, COVID as one of the biggest scams, and a variety of subjects. A listener writes in about the stomach being associated with the eyes.

He has lived in upstate New York since he received a message from a red-tailed hawk under an old white oak.    The conversation we had is incredibly pertinent to today's very turbulent times. Robert calls it a 'dream drought', where we now need to tap into resources and sources beyond the obvious. Dreams are the language of the soul. This is where dreams come in, and not just the dreams you have at night. He explains the different kinds of dreams you can have, the magic of how they work in helping you to manifest your heart's desires and how to start now. Here are some wonderful tips to help you start to reopen your relationship with your dreams, of all kinds:   Start with your night time dreams and begin to journal about them each morning. Journaling tells the Universe production team, so to speak, that you're ready to record and to listen. Try and remember your first and the last dream you had and write about it (this opens you up to being a vessel for connecting more to your dreams) Get in touch with your magical child self --- whatever it was that you enjoyed doing, start doing more of that NOW. Meditate and grow a vision in your mind of where you want to go directed from your heart center. Find an object that represents this image so you can better touch, taste and feel it. This level of consciousness is known as the 'privileged zone of consciousness'. Give yourself permission and time for day dreaming and to lay around horizontally before you sleep or right when you wake up to connect at a deeper level. This will help you to access the I-land (get it, instead of Island?!) of your heart's deepest desires.   One of my favorite quotes (and chapter titles) from Robert is that 'You don't have to drive used Karma' and 'The stronger the imagination, the less imaginary the results'.    His website is www.mossdreams.com   Enjoying the show? A former lecturer in ancient history at the Australian National University, he is a best-selling novelist, journalist and independent scholar. His many books on dreaming, shamanism and imagination include Conscious Dreaming, Dreamways of the Iroquois, The Three "Only" Things: Tapping the Power of Dreams, Coincidence and Imagination, The Secret History of Dreaming, Dreamgates, Active Dreaming, Dreaming the Soul Back Home, and "The Boy Who Died and Came Back: Adventures of a Dream Archaeologist in the Multiverse." His latest book is "Sidewalk Oracles: Playing with Signs, Symbols and Synchronicity in Everyday Life."Moss is also the author of Here, Everything Is Dreaming: Poems and Stories (Excelsion Editions, 2013). Moss describes himself as "a dream teacher, on a path for which there has been no career track in our culture." He identifies the great watershed in his adult life as a sequence of visionary events that unfolded in 1987-1988, after he decided to leave the world of big cities and the fast-track life of a popular novelist (already the author of four New York Times bestsellers, including Moscow Rules) and put down roots on a farm in the upper Hudson Valley of New York. Moss started dreaming in a language he did not know that proved to be an archaic form of the Mohawk language. Helped by native speakers to interpret his dreams, Moss came to believe that they had put him in touch with an ancient healer - a woman of power - and that they were calling him to a different life. His latest book is called, "Mysterious Realities: A Dream Traveler's Tales from the Imaginal Realm "

About the book: Become a Kairomancer: Synchronicity is when the universe gets personal. Through this book of games and enchanting stories, you’ll learn how to monitor the play of coincidence and the symbolic resonance of incidents in daily life in order to tap into the deeper logic of events, receive extraordinary counsel, and have wonderful fun. You will be invited to become a kairomancer: someone who is poised to catch the messages in special moments when synchronicity is in play — and to take action to seize the opportunities those moments present. To be a kairomancer, you need to trust your feelings as you walk the roads of this world, to develop your personal science of shivers, and to recognize in your gut and your skin that you know far more than you hold on the surface of consciousness. This is a way of real magic, which is the art of bringing gifts from a deeper world into this one. Follow it, and you will put a champagne fizz of enchantment into your everyday life. About the author: Robert Moss is the pioneer of Active Dreaming, an original synthesis of shamanism and modern dreamwork. Born in Australia, he survived three near-death experiences in childhood. He leads popular seminars all over the world, including a three-year training for teachers of Active Dreaming and a lively online dream school. A former lecturer in ancient history at the Australian National University, he is a best-selling novelist, journalist and independent scholar. His nine books on dreaming, shamanism and imagination include Conscious Dreaming, Dreamways of the Iroquois, The Three “Only” Things: Tapping the Power of Dreams, Coincidence and Imagination, The Secret History of Dreaming, Dreamgates, Active Dreaming and Dreaming the Soul Back Home. “The Boy Who Died and Came Back: Adventures of a Dream Archaeologist in the Multiverse,” Moss’ personal narrative of his experiences of dying and coming back and seeking to live consciously in the multidimensional universe, will be published in March 2014. Moss is also the author of Here, Everything Is Dreaming: Poems and Stories (Excelsion Editions, 2013). Moss describes himself as “a dream teacher, on a path for which there has been no career track in our culture.” He identifies the great watershed in his adult life as a sequence of visionary events that unfolded in 1987-1988, after he decided to leave the world of big cities and the fast-track life of a popular novelist (already the author of four New York Times bestsellers, including Moscow Rules) and put down roots on a farm in the upper Hudson Valley of New York. Moss started dreaming in a language he did not know that proved to be an archaic form of the Mohawk language. Helped by native speakers to interpret his dreams, Moss came to believe that they had put him in touch with an ancient healer – a woman of power – and that they were calling him to a different life. Out of these experiences he wrote a series of historical novels (The Firekeeper, Fire Along the Sky, The Interpreter) and developed the practice he calls Active Dreaming, an original synthesis of contemporary dreamwork and shamanic methods of journeying and healing. A central premise of Moss’s approach is that dreaming isn’t just what happens during sleep; dreaming is waking up to sources of guidance, healing and creativity beyond the reach of the everyday mind.He introduced his method to an international audience as an invited presenter at the conference of the Association for the Study of Dreams at the University of Leiden in 1994. Core techniques of Active Dreaming include: The “lightning dreamwork” process, designed to facilitate quick dream-sharing that results in helpful action; the use of the “if it were my dream” protocol encourages the understanding that the dreamer is always the final authority on his or her dream. Dream reentry: the practice of making a conscious journey back inside a dream in order to clarify information, dialogue with a dream character, or move beyond nightmare terrors into healing and resolution. Tracking and group dreaming: conscious dream travel on an agreed itinerary by two or more partners, often supported by shamanic drumming. Navigating by synchronicity: reading coincidence and “symbolic pop-ups” in ordinary life as “everyday oracles”. Dream archaeology: melding the arts of shamanic dreaming with scholarship and detective work to access other times and cultures and bring back fresh and authentic knowledge that can be tested and verified. Exploring the multiverse and the multidimensional self.

About the book: Join Robert Moss for an unforgettable journey that will expand your sense of reality and confirm that there is life beyond death and in other dimensions of the multiverse. Moss describes how he lived a whole life in another world when he died at age nine in a Melbourne hospital and how he died and came back again, in another sense, in a crisis of spiritual emergence during midlife. As he shares his adventures in walking between the worlds, we begin to understand that all times — past, future, and parallel — may be accessible now. Moss presents nine keys for living consciously at the center of the multidimensional universe, embracing synchronicity, entertaining our creative spirits, and communicating with a higher Self.
