She is the Director of the Wisconsin Local Technical Assistance Program and Associate Director of the Traffic Operations and Safety Laboratory and Eastern Tribal Technical Assistance Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She is a passionate advocate for making research tangible to practitioners and to foster implementation and widespread adoption.  Guest: Mara Bunderson is a 2025 graduate of UW Madison and competed on the Wisconsin Equestrian Team for four years. She earned titles of IHSA Reserve National Champion in 2023 and National Champion in 2024 under her trainer and coach, Andi Bill. She's remained active in the equestrian world, working for Emily Elek as a groom at Pony Finals and riding/taking lessons at both Stonewall Farm and Sugar Creek Stables. Televize Nova láká k účasti ve Výměně manželek na odměnu 150 tisíc korun. Získali jsme smlouvu, podle níž ale nemají účinkující peníze jisté. Pokud by skončili předčasně třeba kvůli stresu, mohou naopak platit pokutu až 100 tisíc.Podle dokumentu si účastník nemůže být do konce natáčení jistý, kolik si nakonec odnese. Odměna je zpravidla rozdělena mezi dva dospělé účastníky - muže a ženu. Každý by tak měl dostat 75 tisíc. Jenže tato částka je rozdělená ještě jednou – na 10 a 65 tisíc.Menší část aktér dostane, když v termínu dokončí natáčení. A 65 tisíc následuje, pokud se bude pořadu „řádně“ účastnit. Macron en conférence de presse ? "C'est Margaret Thatcher sous stéroïdes ?", pour sa carte blanche Paul Elek continue d'user de ses punchlines affûtées. Il faut dire qu'on lui a demandé de décrypter pour nous le One Man Show de Macron, diffusé hier soir sur les principales chaînes télés en France. Un exercice de communication (une conférence de presse devant près de 200 journalistes ) "inédit" et "XXL" comme nous le vendaient les communiquants de l'Elysée et leurs relais médiatiques. En vérité, on ne s'attendait à rien mais on est quand même déçus ! Pendant près de 2h et demi, le président de la République a décliné un argumentaire aux relents populistes, marqué par ce qu'il appelle depuis quelque temps « le réarmement civique » de la France. Alors tout y est passé, l'école, la santé, la sécurité, l'économie… Avec notamment des approximations comme lorsque Emmanuel Macron parle des salaires et du pouvoir d'achat des personnes touchant le SMIC. Il déclare que ces cinq dernières années de son quinquennat, le SMIC a augmenté de 20%. Une déclaration formellement fausse. Le SMIC qui vient de passer en ce mois de janvier 2024 à 1766 euros brut et qui était à 1521 euros au 1er janvier 2019, a augmenté en fait de 16% sur les cinq dernières années. Et si on remonte à 2017, on est sur une augmentation d'à peine 9%. Pour appuyer son discours, Emmanuel Macron a beaucoup dragué des classes moyennes, mais aussi tapé sur les plus précaires en justifiant de leur imposer toujours plus de règles pour qu'elles bénéficient des prestations sociales. Un véritable "cirque" médiatique où comme, le révélaient nos confrères d'Arrêt sur Image, les questions étaient connues à l'avance par les attachés de presse de l'Élysée (e notre côté, nous avons été complètement privés de cette conférence, notre accréditation a été refusée)… Mais également un one man show réactionnaire qui a fait renaître la subjectivité « pétainiste » dont parlait le philosophe Alain Badiou.

▶ Jamais un média populaire et indépendant, qui n'est détenu ni par de riches oligarques ni par l'Etat, n'avait arraché le droit d'être diffusé à la TV ! Nous si ! Le 20 octobre, nous serons sur vos écrans ! Soutenez-nous sur KissKissBankBank, et faites partie de cette aventure historique ! “Un appel uni et unique pour les travailleurs sans papiers.” C'est le titre d'une tribune aux allures inédites publiée ce lundi dans Libération. Pourquoi inédite? Car l'appel à la régularisation “de milliers de personnes maintenues dans la précarité”, est signé à la fois par plusieurs partis de la Nupes, donc la gauche, ainsi que par des parlementaires macronistes, donc la droite. Une initiative transpartisane qui donne lieu à une superbe photo où l'on voit le communiste Roussel, l'écologiste Bayou, la socialiste de La Gontrie ou encore le Président macroniste de la Commission des Lois de l'Assemblée Nationale, Sacha Houlié, se serrer la main et se faire de larges sourires. A leurs côtés 31 autres députés et sénateurs issus de six groupes : PS, EELV, PCF, Liot et, pour le camp macroniste, Renaissance (ex-LREM) et le Modem. Notons l'absence d'Horizon ou encore des Insoumis.  Le contexte de cette tribune est l'arrivée prochaine (le 6 novembre au Sénat) d'une énième loi immigration, voulue par Gérald Darmanin. Dans ce cadre, Olivier Véran a fait savoir hier que le gouvernement défendait le volet “régularisation des sans-papiers dans les métiers en tension”, prévue dans le projet de loi en question. Comme pour minimiser l'impact de la tribune dans les rangs présidentiels.  Ces derniers sont alors pris en étau entre la Nupes, et notamment les Insoumis qui annoncent la bataille à venir et, à droite, les LR qui menacent d'une motion de censure si l'évolution des choses sur ce terrain viendrait à leur déplaire. Tandis que l'extrême-droite, elle, se tient à l'écart, silencieuse, se tenant prête à profiter d'une guerre ouverte éventuelle. Pour ne pas changer.  En plus de ce dossier, nous aborderons dans ce fond de l'info, la rentrée scolaire qui ne se passe pas comme prévu… ou plutôt totalement comme prévu, puisque on ne peut espérer des résultats différents avec les mêmes ingrédients ; ainsi que de la précarité à la fois étudiante (en hausse) et celle des actifs aussi, avec cette actualité : le nombre de loyers impayés est en augmentation. Mais, que les festivités se déroulent avec ou sans accrocs, pour beaucoup le mal est déjà fait. L'exécutif assure aujourd'hui, par la voix de Gérald Darmanin, vouloir éviter tout débordement lors de la fête nationale, selon lui, je le cite, “traditionnellement marquée par des violences”. Et pour ce faire, un déploiement exceptionnel de 130 000 agents des forces de l'ordre est prévu sur tout le territoire, dont 45 000 chaque soir du 13 et 14 juillet avec dans le viseur, l'objectif d'éviter la reprise des révoltes et émeutes urbaines qui ont fait suite à la mort de Nahel. A cela, il faudra ajouter le RAID, le GIGN, la BRI, des hélicoptères, des drones, des véhicules blindés, l'interdiction des feux d'artifices privés et la fermeture des transports en commun à 22h. Jamais le pays n'aura été si sécurisé, mais les enjeux politiques sont conséquents… Car ce 14 juillet sera surtout le point d'orgue des fameux “100 jours pour apaiser et relancer le pays” souhaité, en ces termes, par le président Macron. Alors, vous sentez-vous apaisé? Voyez-vous le pays relancé, comprenez économiquement? En somme, quel bilan tirer de cette longue séquence politique marquée par d'innombrables coups d'éclats, scandales et provocations? I can remember being in my early twenties.  It was a tumultuous time.  Trying to keep it all straight was a real mess for me because I am on the spectrum, but at the time did not know it.  I struggled and struggled with just about every aspect of the new adult life I was trying to live. Most of you who are past that time period in your life have gone through some rough times as well, regardless whether you are on the spectrum or not.Young adults on the spectrum are constantly bombarded with new and widely different issues and conflicts of both mind and heart.  I searched for research on this topic and found little to really help me out for this podcast, but I have found two very delightful young adults who were willing to talk to us about what it's like when you are in your early adult life and on the spectrum.  Their names are Elek and Claire.  Come and listen to their story of life with ASD and with the NT world.Support the showThanks for Listening!
