Creating Organizations in Dungeons & Dragons like any other detail in your world needs to be more than a simple idea in your head. It can consist of short sentences, bullet points, or large chunks of scribbled paragraphs. When you document the details of an organization it helps ensure that as the Dungeon Master your NPCs and Monsters in that organization take appropriate actions for that organization. Below are some elements that will help you outline everything you need to fully flesh out your world's organizations.

I was happy to see it will include the new Fairy and Harengon from the Wild Beyond the Witchlight, as it is such a fresh release. This is great as game design mechanics have changed and been redesigned over the life of 5th Edition. This often left some races feeling weaker than others. A good rebalancing was needed to ensure they are all appealing and mechanically balanced in power.
What if your D&D Party had a Character Sheet? In Dungeons & Dragons each player has a character sheet, but what about the party? Well, thanks to TikToker Scene Four, we know the answer. The party as a whole isn't much different from each character. Why not give a character sheet to your party in addition to their individual characters? Imagine it for a moment. At the start of the campaign or in Session 0 the players decide what type of adventuring party they want to be. Once they know the type of party they want to be at, this can help them decide the types of adventures they want to take on. This not only helps the players decide what type of game they want to run but also helps the Dungeon Master in deciding what sort of encounters or story hooks to build.

Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition has certainly taken a different approach to their game design from past editions. They opened their playtest material to fans to play and experiment with mechanics and themes before the official release using their Unearthed Arcana. So this week we are praying our kids fear the Lord. I personally chose this because a couple of my kids have been taught who Jesus is, but they are currently searching for what that means for them. There are a lot of things in this world people put their faith in, and I want my kids to know God is the great “I AM”, the creator of the sun and the stars, and also the one whom they seek comfort, refuge, and counseling in. ACTION STEPS: 1) Make it a habit to share stories with your kids from the past and present of God's faithfulness in your life. 2) Ask your kids who God is to them. 3) Give your kids space and opportunity to tell you what/who they believe in without telling them it is wrong. 4) Do not let their answer scare you but trust that God is using this season in their life to discover Him as their own God, not just your God. FOCUSED PRAYER: Father, I pray my kids learn to walk in fear of you. I want them to live in awe and reverence of you knowing that you are all-powerful, awesome, holy, righteous, and sovereign. Remind me to be quick to listen and slow to speak when they share their thoughts and beliefs about you. There are a lot of things in this world people put their faith in, and I want my kids to know God is the great “I AM”, the creator of the sun and the stars, and also the one whom they seek comfort, refuge, and counseling in. ACTION STEPS: 1) Make it a habit to share stories with your kids from the past and present of God's faithfulness in your life. 2) Ask your kids who God is to them. 3) Give your kids space and opportunity to tell you what/who they believe in without telling them it is wrong. 4) Do not let their answer scare you but trust that God is using this season in their life to discover Him as their own God, not just your God. FOCUSED PRAYER: Father, I pray my kids learn to walk in fear of you. I want them to live in awe and reverence of you knowing that you are all-powerful, awesome, holy, righteous, and sovereign. Remind me to be quick to listen and slow to speak when they share their thoughts and beliefs about you.
