Economy Interesting Development – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney Announces New Limits on Foreign Steel and Aluminum, With New 25% Tariff on Steel Derivative Components   Prime Minister Mark Carney is conceding defeat to President Trump and positioning the Canadian economy to be compliant with U.S-Mexico trade regulations. However, Carney is not saying that, indeed he cannot; he's spent over a year telling Canadians that President Trump's trade and economic demands are not going to be accepted by Canada.  However, what he is factually doing is exactly what President Trump has demanded. Prime Minister Carney is saying he is restricting Steel and Aluminum imports from non-free trade agreement countries, and he is lowering the tonnage of Steel and Aluminum that will be permitted for import.  His claim is that this approach will help drive up “domestic demand” for Canadian Steel and Aluminum, but that's ancillary to the real objective. President Trump has demanded Canada stop importing cheap steel and aluminum mostly from China; including manufactured component goods that are made with steel and aluminum (think autos).  Canada would not stop, because they could not stop.  Their manufacturing base, green energy and climate change economy, is more of a component assembly system now. So, President Trump hit Canada with a 35% tariff, and things got ugly.  In June Trump raised the tariff to 50%. The back and forth has gone on all year. Carney now announces restrictions on imported steel and aluminum, as well as restrictions on imported derivative goods that come from steel and aluminum, in combination with a spending plan to bolster the Canadian steel and aluminum manufacturing base.  This ends up shifting the Canadian industrial sector to making steel and aluminum products without Chinese import dependency. (Contact@eanvoiceit.com) New Anti-Conversion Laws in India According to Persecution.org Police in the northwestern Indian state of Rajasthan recently registered the first case under the state's recently enacted anti-conversion legislation against two missionaries. The Christians were accused of carrying out religious conversions at a gathering through “allurement,” according to media reports. After registering the case on Nov. 20, police issued notices to the two missionaries – Chandy Varghese from New Delhi and Arun John from Kota – claiming they promoted conversion and baptised several people during a three-day program known as ‘Spiritual Satsang' at Beersheba Church in Kota. Police investigated after videos and social media clips surfaced showing event speeches and activities. Several youths allegedly announced from the stage that they put their faith in Jesus Christ and were baptized, while calling upon others to adopt Christianity. Rajasthan is one of 12 states in India that has strict anti-conversion laws. A first information report (FIR) was registered by the police after complaints were lodged by hardline Hindu groups active in controlling Christian activities. 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3 That we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith.  But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. Christians in Uganda Threatened Despite Freedom of Religion Laws A Sudanese Christian family in Uganda is living in fear after Muslim extremists from Sudan and Somalia threatened to kill them. Safaa Yousif, who fled her native Sudan to Uganda due to conflict and religious persecution in 2016, received a text message from an anonymous number threatening to kill her family. Muslims from Somalia have also threatened her.  Yousif said she once gave discipleship classes to new converts, and a Somali Muslim who had put his faith in Christ was kidnapped and tortured by his co-religionists from Somalia and Sudan. Somalia is ranked 2nd on the Christian support group Open Doors 2025 World Watch List of the 50 countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian.  Its constitution establishes Islam as the state religion and prohibits the propagation of any other religion, according to the US State Department.  It also requires that laws comply with Sharia Principles, with no exceptions in application for non-Muslims. The threats on Yousif's family in Uganda were the latest of many instances of persecution of Christians in Uganda. An interesting fact to consider is that Uganda's constitution and other laws provide for religious freedom, including the right to propagate one's faith and convert from one faith to another.  Muslims make up no more than 12 percent of Uganda's population, with high concentrations in eastern areas of the country. New hurdle in James Comey case The prosecution of former FBI Director James Comey hit another hurdle last Wednesday as the Justice Department encountered mounting questions about how the case was presented to a grand jury for indictment, reports the Associated Press. The development risked further jeopardizing a politically charged prosecution already subject to multiple challenges and demands for its dismissal. It came during a hearing in which Comey's lawyers asked U.S. District Judge Michael Nachmanoff to throw out the case on grounds that the government was being vindictive and as a separate challenge to Lindsey Halligan, the hastily appointed and inexperienced prosecutor who secured the indictment, is pending. The Justice Department's acknowledgment under questioning from a judge that the full grand jury did not review a copy of the final indictment is the latest indication of its seemingly disjointed pursuit of a criminal case against one of President Donald Trump's political enemies. Comey was fired by Trump in May 2017 while overseeing an FBI investigation into potential ties between Russia and Trump's 2016 campaign. The two have been publicly at odds ever since. Donald Trump gave us yet another very clear sign that he is suffering from what appears to be an advanced form of dementia on Thanksgiving by posting the most insane message to Truth Social that he's ever posted. The rant made no sense, had no basis in reality, and was filled with all sorts of slurs and attacks on migrants and Democrats. The man has completely lost his mind, and anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves. The mother of Karoline Leavitt's nephew has been arrested by ICE. Leavitt's brother said that the 11-year old son that he has with Bruna Ferreria lives with him and his wife full time, but that she still had a relationship with the child up until her arrest and subsequent detainment several weeks ago. Karoline Leavitt has been a vocal supporter of her boss's immigration raids, and never once did she mention that her own nephew could be at risk of losing his mother. Donald Trump had another major meltdown this week after The New York Times reported on his failing health, specifically calling out the fact that the man can't seem to stay awake during events. Trump got on Truth Social and went completely berserk, attacking the Times while also including a litany of lies about how great everything is in this country because of his actions. The man is not only chronically fatigued, but also clearly suffering from delusions of grandeur.An appeals court ruled this week that both Donald Trump and Alina Habba had to pay the $1 million in penalties that were imposed upon them by a lower court for filing a knowingly frivolous lawsuit following Trump's 2020 election loss. The lawsuit that was originally filed was against Hillary Clinton and James Comey (among others) for allegedly concocting the Russiagate scandal, and the courts summarily dismissed the case as having no merit and for being completely frivolous. Habba and Trump were subsequently fined, and the appeals court says that they now have to pay up.The Republican Party, due to Donald Trump, has just received the worst polling news that they could receive with less than a year to go before a critical midterm election cycle. The new poll shows that Latino voters are overwhelmingly turning against the Party and Trump, just one year after they voted for the GOP in record numbers (48%.) This turn signals severe trouble for the Republican, and is so bad that some experts are now saying that the chances of Democrats flipping the Senate have gone way up. Donald Trump loves to tell us that the economy is doing better than ever, and that any parts that aren't doing great are totally Joe Biden's fault. But a new poll shows that a huge majority of voters aren't buying those lies at all, and they are squarely blaming Trump for the economic pain that they are suffering from. To make matters worse, only 20% of Trump's own Republican Party believe that the economy is doing well, proving that even his Party isn't buying the BS that he's selling. For months now, Pam Bondi's DOJ has been plagued with mass resignations of longtime employees and lawyers, and those former DOJ workers are now speaking out about the damage that Bondi and Donald Trump have done to the agency. Investigation of Senator Mark Kelly The Department of War is investigating Senator Mark Kelly for allegedly making a seditious video urging military personnel to refuse illegal orders from President Donald Trump. The video featured Kelly and other Democratic lawmakers encouraging military and intelligence officials to uphold the Constitution and reject unlawful commands. Trump responded by calling the act sedition, demanding punishment. The Department of War reminded retirees they remain subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). Possible outcomes: court martial proceedings, recall to active duty, or administrative measures. Kelly defended his actions, citing his military and NASA service record, and accused Trump of intimidation. Other Democrats publicly supported Kelly, with some using harsh language against the investigation. Dismissal of Indictment Against James Comey A Clinton-appointed judge dismissed the DOJ’s indictment against former FBI Director James Comey. Reason: The prosecutor presenting the case was unlawfully appointed, violating federal code and the Constitution’s Appointments Clause. You can see all the scum from throughout the world posting vile comments about America, Israel, etc., many who claimed to be reporting from Gaza, others who sought money by claiming to be from Gaza, and the corporate media and podcasters who used the false information to advance a poisonous narrative. You can also see the numerous antisemitic commenters on Mark's account who are based all over the world. It also raises another question about the amount of traffic some of the most contemptible, racist, and antisemitic "influencers" are getting from different parts of the world. Those who report analytics, etc., should include that information when putting out their reports. Let the chips fall where they may. Also, the reasons those 6 Democrats put out the video to our military personnel signaling when to defy a presidential order is: 1. to encourage defiance by military personnel to any order they may disagree with; 2. to create the implication that the president has or will issue unconstitutional or illegal orders; and, 3. to encourage defiance in the ranks against the commander-in-chief. What these 6 did was a direct attack on the president and civilian authority and it is they who are shredding our Constitution. Afterward, James Comey and Letitia James are not out of the woods. There was no substantive decision. In fact, there was no decision with prejudice. The administration is appealing.
