Holocaust, derived from the Greek, is a large-scale calamity involving fire. Today, the term is specifically used to describe the German genocide of the Jews. But it has a long history. The European mass murder of Indigenous peoples in North and South America killed 55 million or 90% of the population, between 1492 and 1600, in a little more than one hundred years. More bloodbaths were to follow. In Africa, many millions were killed in the Congo by Belgium. Germany wiped out the Herero and Nama peoples in Southwest Africa. In the Middle East, that was quickly followed by the Turkish slaughter of the Armenians. Then came Auschwitz. Since the end of World War Two, barbarisms and genocides have continued: in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, Myanmar and Gaza. Naomi Klein says, “The Nazi Holocaust is finally being placed in history connected to the terrors that came before and after.” Recorded at Swarthmore College.

Image:  “Roll call at Buchenwald concentration camp, ca.1938-1941. Two prisoners in the foreground are supporting a comrade, as fainting was frequently an excuse for the guards to ‘liquidate' useless inmates.”   Editorial comment: At 16 million worldwide souls, the core population of Jews are not yet as populous as they were before the Nazi Holocaust. About 7 million Jews reside in Israel, and most others in the US. Jews make up just 0.2% of the world's human population. There are ten cities in the world with 19 million or more people in residence. How could so much hatred be directed at so few people? Antisemitism — always the harbinger of mass murder.   – Dr. Peter and Ginger Breggin   This is the first time Ginger and I have done our radio show without a guest — leaving the full hour to ourselves; we hope you enjoy it! It's a bit choppy, there are awkward movements, and to add to that it surprised me (but not Ginger) when we focused entirely on antisemitism. That in itself added to our passionate engagement. We begin talking about two dismaying and disillusioning experiences we had with two different people whom we have respected and admired and one of whom we thought we were developing a real friendship.   We discuss the shocking details of their public comments about Israel and the current war with Hamas, why we fear these kinds of remarks could ultimately cause a Second Holocaust, this time involving not 6 million European Jews, but 7 million Israeli Jews — that is a little under half of all the core (avowed) Jews in the world.   Other points we explored:  Why is antisemitism always a mortal threat to the Jews? Why do the globalist predators hope the Jews and the Muslims will destroy each other? People say that the Israeli leadership is corrupt and even too warlike, but even if true, it's also true of nearly all the world's leadership, including the U.S., Russia, Ukraine, North Korea, China, etc. — and would we murder their citizens as well?   Hardly anyone calls for the murder of a nation because of their leadership, except when it comes to the Jews. On a more positive note, we even venture some thoughts on how to talk to an antisemite who is not yet a Nazi. And end with some very positive principles to live by.       Learn more about Dr. Peter Breggin's work: https://breggin.com/   See more from Dr. Breggin's long history of being a reformer in psychiatry: https://breggin.com/Psychiatry-as-an-Instrument-of-Social-and-Political-Control   Psychiatric Drug Withdrawal, the how-to manual @ https://breggin.com/a-guide-for-prescribers-therapists-patients-and-their-families/   Get a copy of Dr. Breggin's latest book: WHO ARE THE “THEY” - THESE GLOBAL PREDATORS? World Court says Israel must take steps to prevent acts of genocide in Gaza

The World Court on Friday ordered Israel to take action to prevent acts of genocide as it wages war against Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip, but it stopped short of calling for an immediate ceasefire. Ruling on a case brought by South Africa, the court said Israel must ensure its forces did not commit genocide and take measures to improve the humanitarian situation for Palestinian civilians in the enclave. In the ruling, 15 of the 17 judges on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) panel voted for emergency measures which covered most of what South Africa asked for, with the notable exception of ordering a halt to Israeli military action in Gaza. Israel's military operation has laid waste to much of the densely populated enclave and killed more than 25,000 Palestinians in nearly four months, according to Gaza health authorities. Israel unleashed its assault after a cross-border rampage on October 7 by Hamas militants. Israeli officials said 1 200 people were killed, mostly civilians, and 240 taken hostage. The court said it was "gravely concerned" about the fate of the hostages in Gaza and called on Hamas and other armed groups to immediately release them without conditions. But the ruling, welcomed by Palestinians, will still be an embarrassment for Israel and its closest allies, including the United States. Israel had asked the court to reject the case outright, saying it respects international law and has a right to defend itself. "The state of Israel shall...take all measures within its power to prevent the commission of all acts within the scope of Article II of the Genocide convention," the court said. Israel must report back to it on what steps it was taking in a month's time, it said. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the charge of genocide levelled against Israel was "outrageous" and said it would do whatever is necessary to defend itself. "The vile attempt to deny Israel this fundamental right is blatant discrimination against the Jewish state, and it was justly rejected," he said in a statement. But while the ICJ's decisions are final and without appeal, the court has no way to enforce them. The court did not rule at this stage on the core of the case brought by South Africa - whether genocide has occurred in Gaza. But it recognised the right of Palestinians in Gaza to be protected from acts of genocide. South Africa hailed the judgment a "decisive victory" for international rule of law. "Today marks a decisive victory for the international rule of law and a significant milestone in the search for justice for the Palestinian people," South Africa's department of international relations and cooperation said in a statement. "South Africa sincerely hopes that Israel will not act to frustrate the application of this Order, as it has publicly threatened to do, but that it will instead act to comply with it fully, as it is bound to do." It said South Africa would continue to act within the institutions of global governance to protect the rights of Palestinians in Gaza. South Africa's deputy president Paul Mashatile and Justice Minister Ronald Lamola were seen cheering and dancing at a gathering of the governing African National Congress party following the court's verdict. South Africa argued two weeks ago that Israel's aerial and ground offensive was aimed to bring about "the destruction of the population" of Gaza. The 1948 Genocide Convention, enacted in the wake of the mass murder of Jews in the Nazi Holocaust, defines genocide as "acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group". Acts of genocide named in the convention include killing members of the group, causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group and deliberately inflicting conditions of life calculated to bring about the destruction of the group in whole or in part.

An unsung hero of the twentieth century was Sir Nicholas Winton. Winton secured visas to Britain for 700 mostly Jewish children in the late 1930s, saving them from being victims of the Nazi Holocaust.  For decades, Winton's work went unnoticed for the simple fact that he didn't tell anyone. Decades later his secret was discovered and revealed to the world. In fact, there's an actual video clip online of the then-grown children thanking Winton.   Now, a new movie to be released later this year, starring Anthony Hopkins, tells the story. Yet, all the early press releases and a number of articles fail to mention that the children who were saved were Jews, either ignoring that detail entirely or calling them “Central European.”  The children weren't in danger because of where they lived. They were in danger because of who they were. Whether because of antisemitism or a seeking not to offend, erasing Jews from a story about the Holocaust is itself evil.

*) Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, S Africa says at ICJ South Africa has told judges at the International Court of Justice that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza and pleaded with the court to urgently order Israel to halt its war on Gaza. South African lawyers said the latest Gaza war is part of a decades-long oppression of the Palestinians by Israel. Genocides are “never declared in advance,” but ICJ has 13 weeks of evidence showing a “pattern of conduct that justifies the plausible claim of genocidal acts,” a top lawyer for South Africa told the UN's top court. *) ICJ genocide hearings offer hope for Palestinians: Amnesty International Amnesty International has said that ongoing proceedings at the ICJ related to South Africa's genocide case against Israel have the potential to safeguard Palestinian civilians. The rights watchdog said the case could lead to bringing an “end to the man-made humanitarian catastrophe” in besieged Gaza, and provide a glimmer of hope for international justice. As the US continues to use its veto power to block the UN Security Council from calling for a ceasefire, war crimes and crimes against humanity are rife, and the risk of genocide is real, Amnesty International further said. *) Israel to counter genocide accusations at World Court Israel will respond to strong accusations brought by South Africa at the UN's top court that its brutal war in besieged Gaza is a state-led genocide campaign aimed at wiping out the Palestinian population. Israel has rejected the accusations of genocide as baseless and said South Africa was acting as a mouthpiece for Hamas resistance group. The 1948 Genocide Convention, enacted in the wake of the mass murder of Jews in the Nazi Holocaust, defines genocide as “acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group.” *) Russia warns of risk of nuclear response if Ukraine hits missile launch sites A senior ally of President Vladimir Putin warned that any Ukrainian attacks on missile launch sites inside Russia with arms supplied by the US and its allies would risk a nuclear response from Moscow. Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, now deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council, said that some Ukrainian military commanders were considering hitting missile launch sites inside Russia with Western-supplied long-range missiles. He did not name the commanders or disclose more details of the alleged plan and there was no immediate reaction from Ukraine to his threat. *) US and UK strike Yemen's Houthis; rebels say counterstrikes under way The US and British militaries have bombed more than a dozen sites used by the Houthi positions in Yemen, in a massive strike using warship-launched Tomahawk missiles and fighter jets, US officials have said. The military targets included logistical hubs, air defence systems and weapons storage locations, they said early on Friday. Houthi officials said they targeted American and British warships in the Red Sea in reaction to the strikes.

Israel on Friday rejected as false and "grossly distorted" accusations brought by South Africa at the United Nations' top court that its military operation in Gaza is a State-led genocide campaign against the Palestinian population. Arguing it was acting to defend itself and was fighting Hamas, not the Palestinian population, Israel called on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to dismiss the case as groundless and reject South Africa's request to halt the offensive. "This is no genocide," lawyer Malcolm Shaw said. Israel launched its war in Gaza after a cross-border rampage on October 7 by militants from Hamas, which is sworn to Israel's destruction. Israeli officials said 1 200 people were killed, mainly civilians, and 240 taken hostage. "The appalling suffering of civilians, both Israeli and Palestinian, is first and foremost the result of Hamas' strategy," the Israeli foreign ministry's legal adviser, Tal Becker told the court. "If there were acts of genocide, they have been perpetrated against Israel," Becker said. "Hamas seeks genocide against Israel," he added. South Africa asked the court on Thursday to impose emergency measures ordering Israel to immediately halt the offensive. It said Israel's aerial and ground offensive - which has laid waste to much of the enclave and killed almost 24 000 people, according to Gaza health authorities - aimed to bring about "the destruction of the population" of Gaza. Israel rejected the accusations, saying it respected international law and had a right to defend itself. "When the cannons roar in Gaza the law is not silent," Deputy Attorney General Gilad Noam told the court. The 1948 Genocide Convention, enacted in the wake of the mass murder of Jews in the Nazi Holocaust, defines genocide as "acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group". SUFFERING Israel, its defence team argued, was doing what it could to alleviate the humanitarian suffering in Gaza, including efforts to urge Palestinians to evacuate. The court is expected to rule on possible emergency measures later this month but will not rule at that time on the genocide accusations. Those proceedings could take years. The ICJ's decisions are final and without appeal, but the court has no way to enforce them. Palestinian backers with flags marched through The Hague and watched proceedings on a giant screen in front of the Peace Palace. As the Israeli delegation spoke in court, they chanted: "Liar! Liar!" Asked what she thought of Israel's arguments that the Gaza campaign was a matter of self-defence, Neen Haijjawi, a Palestinian who recently came to Netherlands said: "How can an occupier that's been oppressing people for 75 years say it's self-defence?" Israeli supporters were holding a separate gathering of family members of hostages taken by Hamas. Israel has said South Africa is acting as a mouthpiece for Islamist Hamas, which is designated as a terrorist group by the United States, the European Union, Britain and several other nations. South Africa has rejected that accusation. Since Israeli forces started their offensive, nearly all of Gaza's 2.3-million people have been driven from their homes at least once, leading to a humanitarian catastrophe. Post-apartheid South Africa has long advocated the Palestinian cause, a relationship forged when the African National Congress' struggle against white-minority rule was supported by Yasser Arafat's Palestine Liberation Organisation. "My grandfather always regarded the Palestinian struggle as the greatest moral issue of our time," Mandla Mandela, a grandson of the late South Africa president Nelson Mandela, said at a rally in support of the Palestinians in Cape Town.

I have several Arab friends: they are ALL for Israel and none of them are for the Palestinians who support Hamas. ____________________________________ ISRAEL WINS ~ HAMAS & IRAN LOSEYOU CAN WIN LIKE ISRAEL A QUICK RECAP OF ISRAEL'S FUTURE Israel—whether realizing it or not—is going to win a major conquest over Muslim nations in the Middle East. And not just win … but plunder them, reaping great resources! No, I am NOT talking about the Ezekiel 38 ‒ 39 victory. I am talking about a conquest possibly before that: one that could happen at any time. Actually, there will be at least three (3) major Middle East conflicts that involve Israel in the future (See my teaching on Israel's Future Wealth). Conquest over Muslim forces in Middle East; Ezekiel 38 ‒ 39 victory; and, Battle of Armageddon. NOTE: It is possible that the above two [#2 and #3] may be incorporated in one war; but two different conflicts (battles) when the Mashiach appears. That is, Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39 could be the same event combination as Armageddon. They both include earthquakes and hail. However, I believe they will be separate conflicts for the reasons I present below. Most people familiar with Bible prophecy realize there will be a conflict in the Middle East—fought in Israel—where G-d Himself will be “set apart” in the eyes of the goyim: the nations. When it is over, the whole world will realize that the conflict has been won by the LORD G-d. And, probably many of the people familiar with this prophecy in Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39 realize that it is NOT the same conflict as the Battle of Armageddon. This fact is very clear in that: THE WEAPONS USED ARE DIFFERENT In Ezekiel 38, G-d sends earthquake(s), overflowing rain, hailstones and fire … plus disease and blood … upon Israel's enemies. Also, Israel's enemy goes into confusion and fights with each other. In Ezekiel 39, 83% [five-sixths] of Israel's enemies are either destroyed or overcome. And [one-sixth] 17% of the enemy forces are sent back to their home lands. [This translation is NOT in many NEWER versions but it is found in the King James Version.] In the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation Chapter 16) we read of a great earthquake affecting the whole earth and hailstones the size of 100 pounds. However, there is NO mention of disease (pestilence) and blood; nor of fire and burning sulphur like in Ezekiel 38. THE ENEMIES INVOLVED ARE DIFFERENT In Ezekiel 38 Israel is at peace in the land, brought back “Brought back out of the nations dwelling safely.” [Ezekiel 38:8] Also, the commanding enemy forces who attack Israel are from the North: parts of Russia, Turkey, Iran (all North of Jerusalem) with some allies in the North-East African region. In the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16) Israel is NOT at peace … and we read that the whole world is involved as Israel's enemies. It appears that this fits the time frame of “Jacob's Trouble” during the last 42 months of the Great Tribulation: the last half of Daniel the Prophet's heptad of seven years. [Daniel 9:27 and Matthew 24:15] Then they gathered the kings [of the whole world] together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.” [Brit Chadashah / Revelation 16:13-14,16] ______________________________________ READ EZEKIEL CHAPTERS 38 & 39 ______________________________________ IS THERE REALLY A PALESTINIAN STATE? No and the Jews did not steal the land from the Palestinians: There has never been an independent Palestinian state. A self-identifiable, self-ruling and recognized Palestinian entity never existed until the Arab Palestinian national movement in the 20th century. The "Palestinians" were invented in the 1960's to distract from the fact that the Jewish State was a tiny sliver of land surrounded by huge and hostile Arab states. Before that, Palestine was the name of a region, not the people. Between World War I and II, part of Palestine's land was owned by absentee landlords who lived in Cairo, Damascus and Beirut. The Jews legally purchased land from absentee landowners living in Arab capitals. The Jews actually went out of their way to avoid purchasing land in areas where Arabs might be displaced. They sought land that was largely uncultivated, swampy, cheap and without tenants. The Arab Higher Committee called for the Arab Muslims of Palestine to leave the area in 1948, so that the Arab states could crush the Jewish state by war without Arab civilians. The plan was that they would be able to return home in a matter of weeks. Instead, the Arab states lost the war, and began claiming that Israel existed on stolen land. It wasn't until a couple of decades later that the Arab Muslims of the region began to refer to themselves as the Palestinian people. Israel offered the Palestinians 97% of the land they claimed to be fighting for in 2000, making Israel the first and only country ever to offer them a state. This offer was rejected with no counter-offer. A similar offer was made in 2008 with the same result. Israel voluntarily withdrew from Gaza in 2005, removing all soldiers and civilians, giving full control to the Palestinians in hopes of peace. The terrorist organization Hamas now controls Gaza and has launched over tens of thousands of missiles indiscriminately into Israel, resulting in multiple wars in the 21st century. And, the Muslim people of British Palestine were granted a homeland… the Kingdom of Jordan. The PLO messed that up by revolting against the Jordanian government. So now you know that the Jews have a wonderful future despite all that has happened to them in the past, including the Nazi Holocaust, the 1948 Arab attack, the 1967 Arab attack, the 1973 Arab attack on Yom Kippur, and the October 7th 2023 Hamas attack from Gaza. [Daniel 9:27 and Matthew 24:15] Then they gathered the kings [of the whole world] together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.” [Brit Chadashah / Revelation 16:13-14,16] __________________________ READ EZEKIEL CHAPTERS 38 & 39__________________________   IS THERE REALLY A PALESTINIAN STATE? While Israel and Poland have reached agreement on the resumption of high school youth visits to the concentration camps and other places in Poland to learn about the Nazi Holocaust, there is one group of people who have opted to be left out: the Ultra Orthodox. A group of Haredi women have created a unique virtual reality film that can help educate these audiences and all about the Holocaust. It's called “Triumph of the Spirit.” Filmed in Krakow, Auschwitz and Birkenau and guided by a renowned Holocaust scholar, the visual jourey uses pictures, music and eerie 360 degree film to reach the viewers. Miriam Cohen, one of three ultra-Orthodox women behind the endeavor believes it was miraculous that they were able to use the Corona pandemic as an opportunity to film at the death camp. She told reporter Arieh O'Sullivan that the film is now available in English. (photo: courtesy) See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Antisemitism or anti-semitism or anti-Semitism or Jew hatred or hatred of the Jewish People has been around since antiquity. Expressing itself in various ways over time and place, it has remained a salient feature of Jewish history often with tragic consequences. While the Middle Ages is often associated with religious/Christian/Church anti Jewish discrimination, which often culminated in expulsions, pogroms, crusades, forced conversions and ritual murder charges, the 19th century is more associated with a manifestation of antisemitism in a modern form, at the nexus of nationalism and Jew hatred. This was followed by racial antisemitism with its most deadly expression in the Nazi Holocaust. Despite the seemingly orderly chronological sequence of the development of antisemitism over the millennia, it was often a confluence of factors - religious, economic, racial, nationalistic - through which anti Jewish policies were implemented throughout history. This three part series will explore some of the distinctive features of Jew hatred, with a focus on modern antisemitism of the 19th and 20th centuries. This series on the history of Antisemitism has been sponsored by the Touro Graduate School of Jewish Studies, a leading academic program in Jewish Studies that equips students with the tools to search out their own unique path into the study of Jewish history and scholarship. Hank Hanegraaff, president of the Christian Research Institute and host of the Bible Answer Man broadcast, reflects on The 1619 Project and what motivated the Nazi Holocaust. Nikole Hannah-Jones, director of The 1619 Project, reimagines America as a ‘slaveocracy'—and says that even Nazi Germany used America as inspiration for its racial policies. But actually Nazi Germany was motivated by Darwinism and its implications. Nazi Germany took eugenics, which was increasingly promoted throughout the West, to its logical conclusion. Namely, to take those that were not well born and exterminate them in order to bring about the uber race. Thus at the heart of the problem is the notion that we're not created in the image and likeness of God, such that we have intrinsic worth, but rather we are merely molecules in motion—and the goal is always to progress to a higher ideal. The amoeba becomes the ape; and ultimately, the ape becomes the astronaut. For evolution to work, you have to eliminate the weak, otherwise they will pollute the gene pool and render evolutionary progress impossible. The educational system in concert with The 1619 Project is bent on eradicating the God of the Bible—because if we eradicate God, then anything becomes possible. In truth it has always been sin, not skin color, that animates racism. And we know that because slavery has existed throughout all of human history. So if we are to re-imagine America, we must do so based on the communication that, as human beings, we are all created in the image of God.See Mary Grabar, Debunking The 1619 Project: Exposing the Plan to Divide America (Regnery History, 2021) https://www.equip.org/product/cri-resource-awake-not-woke-a-christian-response-to-the-cult-of-progressive-ideology-wa2209fl2/; and Richard Weikart, Darwinian Racism: How Darwinism Influenced Hitler, Nazism, and White Nationalism (Discovery Institute, 2022), https://www.equip.org/product/cri-resource-darwinian-racism-how-darwinism-influenced-hitler-nazism-and-white-nationalism/.

In recent surveys, significant numbers of respondents, especially younger people, claim little knowledge of the Holocaust. But the cause is not hopeless. At the end of May, after a two-year hiatus, The Living Legacy Experience brought dozens of Canadians to Poland, alongside a Holocaust survivor, for a powerful week on the ground, helping to create seeds of inspiration for participants. So, McMinn County School Board in Tennessee decided to remove Maus - Art Spiegelman's classic graphic novel about the Nazi Holocaust and historical memory - from their syllabus, on the grounds that some simply sketched mouse nudity and a few very mild swears would upset and corrupt their pupils, which is obviously very reasonable and evidence of extremely well balanced priorities.  Actually, alongside the epidemic of attempts across the US to remove certain sorts of books from school libraries and curricula, it is evidence that an insidious reactionary agenda is gaining traction. In this episode we talk about the decision of the school board, and look through the minutes of the meeting.  Daniel even gives an impromptu dramatic reading.  We talk about where the appalling decision comes from, and what it really means both for the students and in terms of the wider culture.  Along the way we consider the lies of slimy propagandist Christopher Rufo and the spluttering fanaticism of the increasingly unhinged James Lindsay. Thirty-one state legislators from 20 states attended, along with corporate representatives from Guarantee Life Insurance, EDP Renewables, and State Farm Insurance. In order to combat the alleged threat that critical race theory poses, speakers promoted curriculum materials from Trump's failed 1776 project and a Goldwater Institute model bill to make curriculum materials transparent. They also discussed school privatization measures such as education savings accounts and charter schools. ALEC highlighted a New York Post opinion piece written by Heritage Foundation staff that argued, “The goals of the Black Lives Matter organization go far beyond what most people think. But they are hiding in plain sight, there for the world to see, if only we read beyond the slogans and the innocuous-sounding media accounts of the movement.” Several ALEC lawmakers in attendance got the message. GOP state Rep. Beryl Amedee of Louisiana attended the workshop and later co-authored an op-ed arguing that critical race theory: “is an outgrowth, and little more than a new version of, the Marxist ideology of class warfare with the end goal of societal collapse and the re-making of society. The problem for those confronting this potential catastrophe is how they are explaining their end goals for dealing with it.” James Lindsay at New Discourses, Groomer Schools 2: Queer Futurity and the Sexual Abuse of Your Children Dyer, Hannah, Queer futurity and childhood innocence: Beyond the injury of development Abstract: Because it is so often said that children are the future, queer theory's attention to (and searing debates on) queer futurity offers something new and important to studies of childhood. Drawing on and deepening recent attempts to meld the fields of childhood studies and queer theory, I dwell on the contradiction that results from the synchronous assumptions of the child's a-sexuality and proto-heterosexuality to show how emphasizing sexuality within a discussion of children's education is constructive. In the service of my interest in the renewal of thought concerning children's psychosexual development, I offer a critical reading of the It Gets Better social media campaign (particularly, its consequent critiques and revisions). I begin with engagement of Eve Sedgwick's 1991 seminal essay on queer childhood “How to Bring Your Kids Up Gay” and then, from there, trace contemporary queer theory's use of the figure of the child and consideration of the impact of “innocence” on childhood. In an effort to consider the contemporary residues of historical violence on theories of “healthy” child development, I also consider how histories of colonialism and trans-Atlantic slavery extend into the future and leave traces on contemporary theories of child development. My problem is, all the way through this literature we expose these kids to nakedness, we expose them to vulgarity. You go all the way back to first grade, second grade and they are reading books that have a picture of a naked man riding a bull. It's not vulgar, it's something you would see in an art gallery, but it's unnecessary. So, teachers have gone back and put tape over the guys butts so the kids aren't exposed to it. So, myproblem is, it looks like the entire curriculum is developed to normalize sexuality, normalize nudity and normalize vulgar language. If I was trying to indoctrinate somebody's kids, this is how I would do it. You put this stuff just enough on the edges, so the parents don't catch it but the kids, they soak it in. Later, Alex laughs about Rudy Guliani showing up on FOX's “The Masked Singer.” It seems like "America's Mayor" is in his final form!   Alex is torn on Joe Rogan, the podcast is fascinating, inspiring, and can challenge one's perspective. Alex's issue with Rogan is that he is a great listener but not always a great interviewer. He claims to be curious and wants a good conversation, but he clearly has his own blind spots and can become an activist with some issues. By bringing on Dr. Malone and Dr. McCullough, Rogan has given them a platform and has given credit to their fringe views on the COVID-19 vaccine. Alex gives examples as to why Rogan clearly agrees with both doctors and isn't just having them on for a different perspective.   Whoopi Goldberg claimed on The View that the Holocaust wasn't about race. This was an ignorant comment that goes against any historical understanding of the holocaust. Alex doesn't want to cancel Goldberg and doesn't think this is a bad person, he just thinks she is looking at the holocaust through her lens of race in the United States. He discusses an article from The Atlantic that mentions that “the Nazi Holocaust in Europe and slavery and Jim Crow in the United States are outgrowths of the same ideology—the belief that human beings can be delineated into categories that share immutable biological traits distinguishing them from one another and determining their potential and behavior.”    Finally, according to Deadline “Rudy Giuliani was unmasked as an exiting costumed contestant in last week's taping of the first Season 7 episode of Fox's popular primetime series The Masked Singer. Deadline hears that as soon as they saw Giuliani, judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke quickly left the stage in protest.” Alex finds this story ridiculous. Parody and satire have been killed. Who thought it would be a good idea to bring Guliani, the guy who tried to overthrow democracy, onto a family primetime show? Maybe wait a few years!

They show how these relationships stem from narratives surrounding moral responsibility, the Holocaust, the Israel/Palestine conflict, and Germany's recent welcoming of Middle Eastern refugees. They also point to spaces for activism and solidarity among Germans, Israelis, and Palestinians in Berlin that can help foster restorative justice and account for multiple forms of trauma. Highlighting their interlocutors' experiences, memories, and hopes, Atshan and Galor demonstrate the myriad ways in which migration, trauma, and contemporary state politics are inextricably linked. The Nazi Holocaust is seen by many as a gruesome but aberrant event in history. But 60 years earlier the Darwinian idea that some humans are not fully human resulted in horrifying brutality perpetrated upon the Herero people in South-West Africa. The Holocaust of WWII serves as reminder of the fruit of evolutionary thinking that began long before and continues today.

We follow how the Roma or Gypsies rose to a period of toleration and even renown as the quintessential musical masters of the Romantic era, only to fall under renewed persecution and suppression in the twentieth century, culminating in the Nazi Holocaust -- called the "Devouring" in Romani. We consider the lives of remarkable Roma of the modern age, such as the boxer Johann Trollmann and jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt, the birth of a pan-Roma identity movement in the 1970s, the anti-Roma backlash of the 2010s, and finally the possibility that the Roma may be drawn into the geopolitical maneuverings of modern India. The Missing Chapter: History's Forgotten Stories

In 1934, one year after Adolf Hitler was named chancellor of Germany, Adolf Eichmann was assigned to the Jewish portion of the "security services" of the SS. He worked closely with Hitler in the development, planning, and implementation of the Nazi "final solution" operation. The Nazi Holocaust conducted during World War II resulted in the mass murder of 11 million Jews, minorities, and political opponents, and remains to this day, one of the worst civil rights abuses and acts of genocide in modern history. In 1950, Adolf Eichmann, under a false identity and forged paperwork, was able to flee Europe and escape persecution. In 1957, Israeli intelligence and special operatives, decided that Eichmann needed to be found and brought to justice. With the end of the war and the defeat of Nazi Germany, the Allied armies were confronted with one of the byproducts of the Nazi regime - millions of 'displaced persons', many of whom had nowhere to go, and some of whom were Jewish survivors of the Nazi Holocaust. Eventually Displaced Persons camps were established under the auspices of the American & British militaries in their spheres of influence in Germany, Austria and Italy. Theser were in turn later overseen by the newly established agency UNRAA which was soon followed by the IRO (International Refugee Organization). The unique situation of the Jewish survivors was recognized by the Harrison Report, and a flourishing of Jewish cultural, social, educational and religious life ensued. The Sh'eris Ha-pleita was an organization founded by the survivors themselves to provide the needs of rehabilitation in the post trauma atmosphere following liberation. Various outside organizations assisted with funding and infrastructure while some also competed for the political allegiance of the survivors. Looking to the future many survivors endeavored to marry and start families, while at the same time engaged in commemoration and testimony of the recent events they had experienced.   Subscribe To Our Podcast on:   PodBean: https://jsoundbites.podbean.com/   Follow us on Twitter or Instagram at @Jsoundbites You can email Yehuda at yehuda@yehudageberer.com

On today's Bible Answer Man broadcast (08/26/20), Hank expresses his intent to start a series on the matter of eschatology, or as he calls it in his book The Apocalypse Code, exegetical eschatology. While this phrase may sound daunting, its meaning is easy to comprehend. Exegesis is the method by which we discover what biblical authors intended their original audiences to understand. The meaning of the word eschatology is just as simple—the study of end times. The purpose behind this series is not to entice you to embrace a particular model of eschatology, but rather to equip you to employ a proper method of biblical interpretation. Hank uses the illustration of the Left Behind series by the late Dr. Tim LaHaye to point out the error in LaHaye's literalistic interpretation of Revelation. Hank gives another example of why it is transcendently important to rightly understand biblical eschatology—racial discrimination. A proper exegesis of biblical theology knows nothing of racism. According to Scripture, there is neither “Jew nor Greek.” Neither is there a distinction between Israel and the Church based on race. In sharp distinction, modern dispensationalism—the go-to eschatology of most evangelical Christians—divides people into two categories on the basis of race rather than relationship. The first class consists of Jews, while the second consists of Gentiles. In this view, twenty-first-century Jews will soon die in an Armageddon that will make the Nazi Holocaust pale by comparison. Far from facilitating race-based discrimination on the basis of our eschatological presuppositions, Christians must be equipped to communicate that Christianity knows nothing of dividing people on the basis of race.

Illinois is morally, fiscally, and intellectually bankrupt, and you know what some lawmakers in swampy Springfield are doing with their time and taxpayers' money? They've crafted a stunning resolution titled “Illinois Family Action-Hate Speech” (HJR 55) condemning Illinois Family Action (IFA) and Illinois Family Institute (IFI), falsely accusing us of bigotry and engaging in “hate speech” because in two articles we compared the abortion holocaust to the Nazi Holocaust. The ten “progressive” sponsors of the resolution falsely accuse IFA of distributing “multiple anti-Semitic, homophobic, threatening, and hateful posts on their official social media page, callously belittling the most appalling tragedies of the Holocaust and recklessly comparing those who disagree with their extreme agenda to Nazis.” Read more...

Kathryn interviews strategic advisor Jack J. Hersch, author of the book “Death March Escape: The Remarkable Story of a Man Who Twice Escaped the Nazi Holocaust”. Hersch grew up hearing the stories of how his father, Dave Hersch, twice escaped the brutal death marches forced on concentration camp prisoners by the Nazis at the end of World War II. More than a memoir, biography, or history, his new book is a page-turning account of what it takes to survive with your soul intact and to never surrender. Kathryn also interviews breast cancer survivor Laura Holmes Haddad, author of the book “This is Cancer: Everything You Need to Know, From the Waiting Room to the Bedroom.” At 37 years old, she was diagnosed with Stage IV inflammatory breast cancer. Through her treatment journey she realized that there was so much more to a cancer diagnosis than the medical stuff. Her book is a thoughtful and entertaining result for those who prefer their pathos with humor, reality and a touch of flair.
