Time for B2B Companies to Rethink Growth? Triple Fit Strategy reviewed

How to Build Lasting Customer Relationships and Boost Growth Christoph Senn and Mehak Gandhi propose that B2B companies rethink their growth logic in their recent book Triple Fit Strategy. They lay out the Triple Fit Strategy framework to help companies escape the product-centric mindset and put customers at the heart of their business strategy. Companies using this framework can contribute 10x more to their customers' success and potentially double account values in less than three years. Summary of Triple Fit Strategy Senn and Gandhi suggest a bold new way of doing business that shifts the focus from traditional product selling to a fully customer-centric approach. Their Triple Fit Strategy challenges the old "us and them" mentality, encouraging suppliers and customers to collaborate as if they were a single entity. The result? Businesses that grow far beyond what either party could achieve alone. One Company? At its core, the Triple Fit Strategy puts customers at the centre of three critical areas: planning, execution, and resources. The strategy revolves around a simple and powerful question: What if we - supplier and customer - were one company? Drawing on over two decades of research, the authors argue that companies adopting this framework can contribute ten times more to their customers' success while doubling account values in under three years. Proven Results This isn't just theory. The book shares lessons from global giants like BASF, GE, Microsoft, and Danish shipping leader Maersk, which used the strategy to unlock hundreds of millions of dollars in new opportunities with a New Zealand partner. Backed by a database of over 10,000 cases, the Triple Fit Strategy offers practical tools to bring customers into your company's internal processes, helping to redefine customer relationships, allocate resources wisely, and achieve faster, more meaningful breakthroughs. Business cases The book includes real-life business cases from 3M, Agrana, BASF, Best Buy, BMW, Danone, db Audio, DSM, Evonik, Hillebrand Gori, Indicia, Konica Minolta, Maersk, Marriott, MUREX, Natura, P&G, Sonos, Thermo Fisher, Unilever, Vodafone, and WMF/Schaerer. For Companies Without Large Budgets? Senn and Gandhi outline three practical steps for businesses without a large budget for external consultancy: 1. Create a total business view by analysing business relationships within the Triple Fit canvas. 2. Understand internal politics and identify which stakeholders on both sides will support your case. 3. Foster a mindset of strategic alignment between supplier and customer. For businesses ready to step away from the "product-first" mindset, this book is a game-changer. See more about the book here. About the Authors Christoph Senn Christoph is Adjunct Professor of Marketing at INSEAD and founder/CEO of Valuecreator, a global provider of B2B growth tools and programs. He has taught at leading institutions such as Columbia Business School and the University of St. Gallen. His work has been published in journals, including California Management Review and Harvard Business Review. Mehak Gandhi Mehak is Head of Research & Training at Valuecreator, designing B2B growth accelerator programs and sales strategies for global companies. Her experience spans industries, having worked with Allianz, Maersk, Schindler, Thermo Fisher, and others. She applies the Triple Fit tools to achieve strategic alignment and growth for her clients. Welcome to the Green Rush, a KCSA Strategic Communications Production, and a weekly conversation at the intersection of cannabis, psychedelics, the capital markets and culture.  This week Anne and Nick had the honor of speaking with Stephanie Shepard, Partnerships Manager and Director on the Board with Last Prisoner Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to cannabis-related criminal justice reform. In addition to her work at Last Prisoner Project, Stephanie is herself a survivor of the War on Drugs, having been sentenced in 2010 to 10 years in the Federal Bureau of Prisons for a non-violent cannabis related crime.  The Green Rush was first introduced to Stephanie through CannabizTeam, the premier executive search and staffing firm, and ongoing partner with Last Prisoner Project.  In this episode, Anne and Nick connected with Stephanie to talk about the challenges she faced reintegrating into society following her sentence, how she began working with the Last Prisoner Project in the fight for restorative justice and actions the industry can begin taking to aid those still being victimized by the criminalization of cannabis. In addition the three discuss Joe Biden's missed opportunity to make a greater impact on the cannabis movement with his most recent announcement and the 2022 midterm elections.   So sit back and enjoy our conversation with Stephanie Shepard, Partnership Director with Last Prisoner Project.  Links and mentions in the show https://www.lastprisonerproject.org/ LPP's Letter Writing Program: https://www.lastprisonerproject.org/letter-writing Donate to LPP Links to the guest's company and social media accounts Stephanie's LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stephanie-shepard-744894223/ LPP's Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lastprisonerproject LPP's Twitter: https://twitter.com/lastprisonerprj LPP's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lastprisonerproject/ LPP's LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/last-prisoner-project/  Show Credits: This episode was hosted by Anne Donohoe and Nick Opich of KCSA Strategic Communications.  Special thanks to our Program Director Shea Gunther. If host Katie Steinberg has anything to say about it, food delivery apps like Grubhub are almost a little too easy to use. Nicolas Holland, the Partnership Director with GrubHub sat down with Game Changers to discuss the present and future of the food delivery app.“It's really all about discovery, it's all about accessibility,” said Holland, noting that the ease and use of the app allows users to discover and experience new food networks that exist all around them. “Technology has really enhanced the way we all live our life from our couch…we're able to leverage our time so much more effectively.”There are a plethora of factors that go into being able to provide an excellent food delivery and pick-up app. Good wifi and great coverage in the venues are essential to carrying out orders. In sports venues and stadium deliveries, Grubhub utilizes algorithms to track wait-times and historical data to improve the customer experience. This on-time consumer experience for in-venue and in-stadium pick-ups allows the fan to see the game they came for (not have to stand in a line) and experience the food simultaneously. In a new move aimed at branching into the hospitality industry, Grubhub has partnered with Resorts World in Las Vegas. Mary & Edward Powers joined the show to talk about Brave Neighbor Homes, a company that approaches real estate from a relationship perspective and gives back to Kingdom causes. Mary Powers follows Jesus alongside her husband Edward. They have been together for 30 years and have four adult children: Charles and Julia (biological), and Abby and Stephen (chosen). All four are awesome and thriving! Mary grew up in a loving home that experienced extreme poverty. Athletics dominated her high school and college years before she experienced severe knee injuries that halted those pursuits prematurely. She met and married Edward during college, and they chose together Edward's commissioning in the Marine Corps. For over two decades, she dedicated herself to raising their remarkable children, while becoming the model of a supportive Marine spouse. She led the Marines' families while Edward led the Marines. She endured years of deployments rendering her a de facto single mom and thrived in the midst of them. In 2019, as the nest emptied out and Edward retired from the military, it became her turn to explore her passion. Her passion is helping people find their homes and navigate the stressful world of real estate transactions in relationship, as a friend. Brave Neighbor Homes is the expression of her diligent efforts to do real estate differently, to do real estate according to Kingdom values as opposed to the predominant values of our culture. Mary is a tenacious friend who you will share your life story with within five minutes of meeting her (it's amazing, really!). She loves watching movies snuggled with family, and she really, really, really loves looking at and remodeling homes, which is convenient.Edward is a retired Lieutenant Colonel who served 22 years as a helicopter pilot in the United States Marine Corps. His career culminated as squadron commander of a Light Attack Helicopter Squadron. He served combat tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan and deployed throughout the Western Pacific during his time in uniform. Following retirement in 2019, he spent a year on mission with Pulse ministries, a non-profit organization that exists to make Jesus known, where he was their Partnership Director. Currently, his day job is leading a college faculty development team. He spends the rest of his time supporting Mary as a real estate agent for Brave Neighbor Homes, as well as providing personal leadership development coaching and mentoring services for Brave Neighbor Think. Edward is a learner, teacher, coach and mentor who enjoys gathering with people. He loves to play games with friends, run, hike and have deep philosophical discussions about how to change us so we can change the world.

Mr William Du: Mainland Affairs Manager of the Hong Kong Jockey Club and Partnership Director of Time Auction @ FiresideInterviewer: Wendy Chong, Hannah Lam採訪者:蔣沛芸、林婉晞Language 語言:Mandarin 普通話Wendy: 從你的採訪當中,我就可以看到你是一個非常擁抱改變而且不斷嘗試,一直就是以行動來為自己的目標付出努力的人,而聽說你為自己取了一個很有意思的英文名字叫Will Do,請問這是真的嗎? 就是任何的事情啊,i will do it就是我要有這樣的一個,對任何一件事情,抱有這樣的一個必勝的,這樣的一個決心,而且我也很喜歡一句話叫there is a will,there is a way。 Editor: Claire Wong, Wendy Chong

Schools, teachers, principals, superintendents and PTOs/PTAs can help to address this disparity. Today's episode shines a light on some of the inequities that exist in K-12 schooling, how they manifest, and how school districts, teachers, and PTA/PTO can address these inequities.    About Our Guest: Dolores Caamano, Managing Director, Partnership Development, Equal Opportunity Schools Dolores Caamano knows what it feels like to have to work six, and most times, 10 times harder just to be seen, just to be heard. As a Latina student who grew up in poverty in a single-parent household, nothing came easy. Not the nice clothes. Not the home-cooked meals. And definitely not the perfect family. She did well in school – in fact, school was the only place where she didn't have to be the poor girl from an unstable family. At school, she could be the smart, aggressive, go-getter. That had a better ring to it, so she went with that. Dolores thrived off her positive adult interactions with her teachers. Why? Well, because she didn't get them at home. And even though her teachers thought the world of her, she never quite fit the mold of the ideal student. Maybe it was the smell of smoke on her clothes or the fact that her mom never showed up for a PTA meeting, but Dolores realized that there was only so much she could do alone. Fortunately for Dolores, all that changed her freshman year. Mrs. Padalecki (P for short) was her journalism teacher. P pushed, encouraged, and supported Dolores in ways no adult had ever done before. She didn't lower the standards for Dolores because she knew life was hard at home. No, she did the opposite. She made sure Dolores was involved and had access to every opportunity that she knew would get her to where she wanted to be. By senior year, Dolores was a Bill Gates Millennium Scholar, which gave Dolores a full-ride scholarship to any university of her choice. Dolores always had a passion for journalism, but once she graduated from The University of Missouri, she knew she wanted to be to students what Mrs. Padalecki was to her – their Trusted Adult. After 8 years as a high school teacher, Dolores joined Equal Opportunity Schools as a Partnership Director to ensure schools all over the country had the tools and support they needed to truly SEE students who so often go unseen – outside of GPA and test score – a full, 360-view of who they are and who they want to be. EOS was the only thing that could take Dolores out of the classroom. Now, as the Managing Director for Partnership Development, Dolores uses her lens as a low-income student of color, teacher, and Partnership Director to guide her conversations with prospective districts across the country.   This show is brought to you by K-12 Clothing. HILARITY ALERT:Tom has a stuffy nose, prepare for maximum nasality.Tom announces menacing questions for our guest in the last third of the episode and then has nothing to show for it.Technology is wicked at times, and you may be able to hear a feint hum on Anja's feed. Our sincerest apologies. In this episode, we want to talk to you about your personal brand. We are joined by the scintillating Anja Skvortsova, Partnership Director at Audeliss, an executive search firm that levels the playing field for diverse leaders in executive and board appointments. Anja is also a world-class narrator, and learning from her is both an intellectual and auditory treat!Authenticity. What is it? How do you define it for yourself and leverage it to get those jobs you've been dreaming about? We have both struggled with this concept for years, but can now proudly present to you the very much millennial version of Nikki and Tom: our authentic selves. Have a listen, have a think, authenticity matters more than you might believe. Some nuggets of wisdom Anja is sharing in this episode:- Companies hire more than just your skillset, they hire you for you.- Work on your strengths, not just your weaknesses.- Research, research, research. Accelerating Careers in Real Estate

In this podcast, Nick Carman, Partnership Director at Macdonald and Company explores a theory he has built after 15 years in recruiting in real estate - interviewing more than 1000 industry professionals. We ALL, when we enter our chosen career, accelerate; we learn and develop quickly… but this period of acceleration eventually slows and we reach a period of consolidation. But what if, during this period of consolidation, we could unlock something that would allow us to regain the same pace of acceleration we first experienced and continue to grow?
