Welcome to episode 98. Today, I'm diving into one of my favourite topics - sex and relationships - but this time through the lens of my experience as an autistic woman. I'll be exploring how people with different neurotypes can better understand each other's needs through clear, honest communication, and we'll look at how expressing and listening to desires without shame or judgment can lead to more fulfilling sexual experiences. At its core, this episode is about connecting in a way that feels authentic to you and building relationships that bring joy and satisfaction. Let's dive in! In this episode: · How confidently addressing neurodivergence and embracing open conversations about your challenges and desires will always lead to better sex. · How do you know when someone fancies you? The challenge of understanding social cues and flirting as an autistic person. · Written communication is a powerful way to express your sexual desires and needs - often used in long-distance relationships but helpful for everyone, especially those with different neurotypes. Today we're talking about something couples rarely discuss: when a husband's interest in sex drops after he stops using porn. For wives, this can feel very confusing and hurtful. After working hard to heal the relationship, it's painful when intimacy doesn't return as expected. She might wonder, "Doesn't he find me attractive? Is he really getting better?" But lower sexual desire after recovery isn't always a bad sign. It's often part of a necessary reset in understanding healthy intimacy. The drive for sex that was powered by fantasy starts to quiet down, creating space for real connection to grow. Today I'll share five reasons why desire decreases during recovery and how couples can build a fulfilling sex life based on both people's needs, emotional safety, and genuine connection. For therapy with Sam: I will work with you for 12 weeks to help you eliminate pornography use and resolve the root cause so it doesn't come back. If after the 12 weeks you haven't fully overcome it, I'll work with you for free until you do. Click here for info to work with me directly. Sex in marriage can sometimes feel imbalanced—one person initiates while the other holds the power to say yes or no, or one partner's needs take priority over the other's. But what if there was a way to create a deeper, more fulfilling connection? In this episode, we explore the concept of mutuality in marriage, a powerful approach where both partners' needs, desires, and well-being are valued equally. Drawing from Dr. David Schnarch's insights, we'll break down what it truly means to love well in a sexual relationship—not out of obligation or self-sacrifice, but through a balanced, collaborative connection. So, what does mutuality look like in the bedroom? And how can couples cultivate more of it? Tune in to find out.

God puts a high premium on the intimate sexual relationship—so much so, that He only approves of the sexual relationship within a marriage relationship. However, in that setting, God intends for both husband and wife to pursue and to enjoy sex. He intends for there to be comfort, fun, fulfillment, and pleasure. Join Eric and Gena in this episode as they discuss how the Bible instructs married couples to pursue and to enjoy the gift of sex in marriage.

The sexual dynamics between the sexes aren't something we address as often as we should. It's something that impacts men and women on a daily basis, but we're simply expected to know how to speak to the opposite sex in terms of sexual attraction and intimacy. This often leads to frustration in the bedroom and beyond. My guest today is Jackson Hightower, and he is a sexual mastery expert who works closely with men in building intimacy and sexual connection between man and woman. Today, we talk about what women find sexual attractive and irresistible, why men struggle to communicate their sexual wants, needs, and desires, what is causing an increase in erectile dysfunction and lowering testosterone rates, how a man can improve his performance under the sheets, and learning to satisfy both your woman and have your own needs met. Nathan Wade makes SHOCKING comments about Fani Willis SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP!
This episode, alongside seasoned professional in conscious sexuality Alexey Welsh, brings to light the deeper dimensions of love and connection through the lens of sexual awakening. We navigate the waters of societal norms and personal barriers, uncovering how shifting our approach to sex from excitement and pleasure to nourishment and presence can revolutionize our intimate relationships.Throughout our discussion, we weave together the threads of sacred sexuality, conscious intimacy, and the pursuit of a shared journey in love, rather than a destination. The practice of withholding ejaculation, the balance between pleasure and purpose, and the cultural imbalances that often prioritize one gender's satisfaction over another's, are dissected to offer an enriched understanding of sex as an expression of love and devotion.Venture with us as we pull back the curtain on mainstream notions of sexuality and explore the concept of a saturation model of intimacy, where presence is the goal, and pleasure a byproduct of connection.⬇️⬇️⬇️Watch this episode and many more on my Youtube channel!

I've been thinking a lot about what we all want in our relationships and what that means to our relationships. So, today I'm going to share with you the four things that we all want in our sexual relationships. We may call them different things, but everyone wants essentially the same thing. I am also going to talk about what happens when these things we want aren't happening in our sexual relationships. And what you can do about that. You see, the absence of these foundational values can lead to a host of challenges that impact both the marital and sexual aspects of a relationship. Let's see what we can do about that!
