Rīgas Radio rūpnīcas klubā viņa rīkoja saucamās vārda došanas svinības, un tur mans tēvs strādāja par direktoru, un arī viņa bija mana goda krustmāte. Siliņš balvu saņems par ieguldījumu latviešu teātra mākslas popularizēšanā, Teātra muzeja digitalizācijā, mākslas festivāla "Patriarha rudens" organizēšanā un vadīšanā. Aktrises Lilitas Bērziņas balvu saņems Valmieras teātra aktrise un režisore Inese Pudža, kuras "talanta mērogs, neatkarīgā personība un līdzšinējais veikums teātrī pārliecina, ka viņa godam pelnījusi šo balvu". Aktiera Harija Liepiņa balvu piešķirs Mihaila Čehova Rīgas Krievu teātra aktierim Maksimam Buselam par "dziļu, patiesu un harismātisku skatuvisko sniegumu pēdējo sezonu laikā". Režisora, skatuves mākslas teorētiķa un pedagoga Jēkaba Dubura balvu pasniegs Latvijas Kkultūras akadēmijas emeritētajai profesorei, teātra zinātniecei Valdai Čakarei par "ilgstošu un kvalitatīvi augstvērtīgu pētniecisko un akadēmiski pedagoģisko darbību skatuves mākslā". Baletmeistares Helēnas Tangijevas-Birznieces balvu piešķirs Latvijas Nacionālās operas un baleta māksliniekam Raimondam Martinovam par "mūža ieguldījumu baleta mākslā, pedagoģiskajā darbā un horeogrāfijā".

What is a surprise is that only one media publication I could find seems to have covered this story from this angle, despite the dramatic inferences that can be made. The UK paper The Mirror dramatically announced on 6th May that Vladimir Putin's electrician for his 'secret Valdai palace' blown up in 'assassination attempt'. But who was the assassination against? The electrician, or ultimately Putin himself? The story has been covered in other quarters of the press in a conventional fashion, that follows the information provided by Russian press services, without questioning it at all. Massive gas explosion in Moscow apartment block. Now such explosions are not unknown in Russia. True, they are less likely in Moscow which tends to have a better standard of infrastructure and maintenance. But in the context of the full-scale war, and personal shortages such occurrences may be occurring with greater frequency. But the issue here, is that anonymous witness who visited the scene have claimed there was no smell of gas. Yet the explosion was substantial. Putin's Valdai Speech, warns Western elites The Duran: Episode 1422

Cuộc gặp Vladimir Putin và Tập Cận Bình bên lề thượng đỉnh Tổ Chức Hợp Tác Thượng Hải - OCS 2022 tuần trước, đã làm lu mờ một trật tự mới tại Trung Á với tâm điểm là Bắc Kinh. Vì chiến tranh Ukraina, kinh tế Nga lệ thuộc nhiều hơn vào Trung Quốc, trong lúc nhiều nước cộng hòa thuộc Liên Xô cũ lo tìm điểm tựa để được bảo đảm « toàn vẹn lãnh thổ ».  Đây là cơ hội để Bắc Kinh lấn sang sân chơi của Nga, dùng lá bài đầu tư và kinh tế để lôi kéo các nước Trung Á về phía mình ? Uzbekistan, một nước cộng hòa thuộc Liên Xô cũ, cuối tuần qua, đã ký một loạt hợp đồng đầu tư, nhân là bên tổ chức thượng đỉnh OCS tại Samarkand : 16 tỷ đô la với Trung Quốc và khoảng 5 tỷ với Nga. Đây là một dấu hiệu nữa cho thấy ảnh hưởng của Matxcơva, ít ra là về kinh tế và thương mại, bị thu hẹp lại ngay trong vùng vốn là « sân nhà » của Liên Xô trước kia và nước Nga ngày nay.   Putin trong thế yếu Ngoài báo chí Nga, các phương tiện truyền thông quốc tế gần như im lặng về thông báo của tổng thống Vladimir Putin tại Uzbekistan cấp viện trợ phân bón cho các nước kém phát triển.   Về phía chủ tịch Trung Quốc, ông Tập Cận Bình không sang Luân Đôn dự tang lễ nữ hoàng Anh, không sang New York phát biểu trước Đại Hội Đồng Liên Hiệp Quốc mà đã dành chuyến xuất ngoại đầu tiên đến Kazakhstan, quốc gia có trọng lượng nhất tại Trung Á, và sau đó là để dự thượng đỉnh OCS tại Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Cũng tại Samarkand Tổ Chức Hợp Tác Thượng Hải vừa chính thức kết nạp thêm một thành viên mới là Iran, một quốc gia thù nghịch với Washington và tương tự như Matxcơva, Teheran cũng đang ngạt thở vì lệnh cấm vận của châu Âu và Hoa Kỳ. Kết thúc hai ngày họp tại Uzbekistan, giới quan sát đồng loạt đưa ra hai nhận định. Thứ nhất là ông Putin đã bắt tay ông Tập khi đang trong thế yếu trên mọi mặt. Về kinh tế, Nga bị phương Tây trừng phạt, đã trông đợi nhiều vào Trung Quốc. Về quân sự : Ukraina không đầu hàng và chiến dịch quân sự thần tốc như điện Kremlin mong đợi đã kéo dài hơn nửa năm mà chưa biết đến khi nào mới kết thúc. Tệ hơn nữa, Kiev đang mở chiến dịch phản công, giải phóng nhiều thành phố Ukraina. Giới quân sự nói đến một bước ngoặt trong chiến tranh của Ukraina và thậm chí là một « thất bại » đau đớn cho quân đội Nga. Về ngoại giao, chiến dịch đặc biệt của ông Putin tại Ukraina đang khiến nhiều đối tác của Matxcơva trong khu vực Trung Á lo ngại với câu hỏi sau Ukraina, đến lượt quốc gia nào trong khối Liên Xô cũ sẽ là nạn nhân của điện Kremlin ?  Nhận xét thứ nhì mà các nhà phân tích phương Tây đồng loạt đưa ra, đó là trọng tâm của Tổ Chức Hợp Tác Thượng Hải, mà 4 sáng lập viên từng thuộc khối Liên Xô - vẫn chịu ảnh hưởng rất lớn của Matxcơva, đang nghiêng thêm nữa về phía Trung Quốc. Đồng thời Nga đã không lôi kéo được thêm các đồng minh trong khối ủng hộ « chiến dịch quân sự đặc biệt » như từ ngữ mà điện Kremlin sử dụng để biện minh cho cuộc xâm chiếm Ukraina. Ngay cả tình bạn « vững như bàn thạch » hay « vô bờ bến » giữa hai lãnh đạo Vladimir Putin và Tập Cận Bình cũng đã không được như Matxcơva mong đợi Trên đài truyền hình Pháp France 5, giáo sư địa chính trị trường Sciences Po, Paris Frédéric Encel giải thích : Frédéric Encel : « Trung Quốc mua dầu hỏa của Nga, nhưng với giá thấp hơn rất nhiều so với thị trường và một lần nữa giữa hai quốc gia này hoàn toàn không là đồng minh của lẫn nhau. Hai chữ đồng minh ở đây, hiểu theo  đúng nghĩa của khoa địa chính trị. Ông Putin cố tình chứng minh rằng Tổ Chức Hợp Tác Thượng Hải là một khối với một mục đích chung là chống lại phương Tây. (...) nhưng trong khối này, Nga yếu thế hơn Trung Quốc : GDP của Trung Quốc lớn gấp 10 so với Nga. Cũng đừng quên rằng, một số thành viên OCS từ lâu nay đã mở kênh đối thoại với Hoa Kỳ. Ấn Độ chẳng hạn đã ký với Mỹ một thỏa thuận về hạt nhân quân sự năm 2005. Tổ chức Hợp Tác Thượng Hải không là một khối đồng lòng vì nước Nga ».   OCS không là công cụ trong tay Nga Trên đài truyền hình Pháp - Đức Arte, chuyên gia kinh tế, Françoise Nicolas, giám đốc đặc trách về châu Á Viện Quan Hệ Quốc Tế Pháp IFRI thì nhấn mạnh đến những tính toán thận trọng của Trung Quốc trong việc « giúp đỡ » Nga : Françoise Nicolas : « Có khác biệt lớn giữa lời nói và việc làm : Về mặt chính thức Trung Quốc giữ thế trung lập nhưng thực ra thì Bắc Kinh lại ủng hộ Nga trên phương diện chính trị qua tuyên bố của các lãnh đạo Trung Quốc. Dù vậy, Trung Quốc đã không đi xa hơn những tuyên bố này, có nghĩa là sử dụng lại những ngôn từ của điện Kremlin để biện minh cho việc Nga đem quân xâm chiếm Ukraina, nhưng tránh yểm trợ Nga về mặt quân sự hay lộ liễu giúp đỡ tài chính. Ngoài việc mua dầu khí của Nga, Trung Quốc không giúp đỡ gì nhiều cho Matxcơva cả. Bắc Kinh không dại gì để bị lãnh đòn trừng phạt phương Tây ban hành ». Địa chính trị và kinh tế càng lúc càng gắn liền với nhau, theo tầm nhìn của Valérie Niquet, Quỹ Nghiên Cứu Chiến Lược của Pháp, Bắc Kinh càng lúc càng « khó chịu » về chiến tranh Ukraina, bởi lẽ kinh tế Trung Quốc đang phải trả giá cho tính toán đầy mạo hiểm đó của ông Vladimir Putin.   Valérie Niquet  : « Trung Quốc sẽ hài lòng nếu như Nga nhanh chóng giành được thắng lợi tại Ukraina bởi vì điều đó sẽ chứng minh cho thế thượng phong của một mô hình chế độ không như của phương Tây. Kịch bản đó đã không xảy ra, mọi việc không tiến triển như mong đợi. Giờ đây chiến dịch quân sự của Nga là một gánh nặng và gánh nặng đó bắt đầu ảnh hưởng đến kinh tế Trung Quốc. Nga bị trừng phạt nên nhiều doanh nghiệp Trung Quốc đã thận trọng chờ xem tình hình tiến triển ra sao và nhất là không muốn vì vẫn giao tiếp với Nga để rồi bị Washington xếp vào sổ đen. Trong tầm nhìn của Trung Quốc, thuần túy về mậu dịch, thị trường quan trọng nhất là Mỹ chứ không phải là Nga ». Nếu như Trung Quốc bực mình vì Nga đã đi sai một nước cờ trên hồ sơ Ukraina để các nước « bạn » của Matxcơva bị vạ lây, trong chiều ngược lại, ở hậu trường, phía Nga cũng đang thất vọng không kém về ông Tập Cận Bình : Trung Quốc chỉ « bảo đảm những dịch vụ tối thiểu (...) ».  Một tờ báo Ấn Độ tiết lộ, tại Uzbekistan vừa qua, tổng thống Vladimir Putin khi nói về Trung Quốc đã thốt lên rằng « những người bạn của nước Nga là những nhà đàm phán đáng gờm ». Giới doanh nhân thân cận với điện Kremlin cũng đã thất vọng không kém.   Valérie Niquet  : « Qua các cuộc họp thường xuyên, câu lạc bộ Valdai quy tụ các doanh nhân, các nhà đầu tư thân cận với tổng thống Putin, đã bắt đầu bực mình thấy rằng Trung Quốc không đầu tư nhiều vào Nga. Kim ngạch mậu dịch có tăng mạnh nhưng đã không được như ông Putin mong đợi. Matxcơva muốn Bắc Kinh hỗ trợ nhiều hơn nữa, cả về tài chính. Nhưng điều đó hoàn toàn không diễn ra ». Giáo sư Frédéric Encel đã lưu ý Tổ Chức Hợp Tác Thượng Hải không là « một liên minh » quân sự như NATO, các thành viên chính chức và các quan sát viên của câu lạc bộ này « đối thoại với nhau » đặc biệt là trên vấn đề kinh tế, chia sẻ một số quan điểm về ngoại giao nhưng dứt khoán OCS không phải là một « khối ». Đó là chưa kể hầu hết mỗi quốc gia trong số này đều đang có tranh chấp lãnh thổ với những thành viên khác. Tiêu biểu nhất là xung đột biên giới Ấn Độ-Trung Quốc, hay giao tranh giữa Kirghizistan-Tadjikistan đã nổ ra, ngay vào lúc tổng thống hai nước cùng đang tham dự thượng đỉnh Samarkand cùng với các ông Tập Cận Bình và Vladimir Putin. Lá chủ bài về địa chính trị và địa kinh tế Báo Nhật Bản The Diplomat ngày 15/09/2022 nêu lên câu hỏi, « thấy gì từ chuyến công du Trung Á của ông Tập Cận Bình, về quan hệ giữa Trung Quốc với khu vực này ? » Hai đồng tác giả, Brian Wong và Iskander Akylbayev, trả lời : Trung Quốc từ lâu nay đã chiếu cố Trung Á, mắt xích không thể thiếu trên con đường « Tây tiến » của kế hoạch Một Vành Đai Một Con Đường. Trung Á là một lá chủ bài cả về địa chính trị lẫn địa kinh tế. Ở vào thời điểm này, Bắc Kinh cần trấn an các đối tác trong khu vực vào lúc đầu tư của Trung Quốc ra nước ngoài không còn được « rộng rãi » như xưa, cùng lúc thì nhiều đối tác đã nhận đầu tư của Trung Quốc, như Sri Lanka chẳng hạn, đang rơi vào bẫy nợ. Về phía các nước Trung Á, hai tác giả bài viết trên tờ The Diplomat ghi nhận : trước đây các nước trong vùng dựa vào Nga về an ninh, quân sự nhưng trông đợi vào Trung Quốc để phát triển kinh tế. Chiến tranh Ukraina đã làm lung lay nguyên tắc đó : nhiều nước lo sợ khi ủy thác an ninh của chính mình cho« ông anh cả » Putin. Riêng ông Tập Cận Bình như đã thấy rõ mối lo ngại đó của các đối tác Trung Á, chẳng vậy mà tại Samarkand lãnh đạo Trung Quốc đã nhiều lần nhấn mạnh đến nguyên tắc « tôn trọng chủ quyền và sự toàn vẹn lãnh thổ » của các thành viên. Ngoài những tính toán thuần túy kinh tế, Trung Á còn trông thấy những hợp đồng đầu tư với Trung Quốc như những « lá bùa hộ mạng » trước những tính toán chiến lược và chính trị của Nga.

For the most part, living in history for people has been a bit like swimming in water for fish – both species are by nature too far-sighted to comprehend what's immediately in front of them. But recently the speed and the scale of transformations have intensified so much that it's impossible not to notice the change, although the question of what to do about it still remains open. To try and unpack these changes, Oksana is joined by Timofei Bordachev, program director of the Valdai Discussion Club and author of ‘Europe, Russia and the Liberal World Order'.

We discuss the war in Yemen, the recent attacks on Saudi oil facilities, the ground operation in Najran, some recent, perhaps game changing statements by Saudi crown prince Mohammad bin Salman, and other comments made by the Saudi energy minister and by Russian and Iranian officials at the Valdai conference. Isa talks about what he describes in his book as the “shifting causal factor behind the ongoing violence in Yemen”, the need for resources, the coalition infighting and the worsening predicament of the Saudi Kingdom and their frenemies in the Gulf. At the root of it is a fragmenting, collapsing empire and global financial interests plundering the world.  Dr. Isa Blumi is an historian, an author and an Associate Professor at Stockholm University. Less well-known is his reference since the Valdai conference in 2013 to Russia as a civilizational state with privileged civilizational interests in countries with significant Russian diasporas. The discourse is one in which the West is identified as an eternal and perpetual enemy of Russia’s cultural identity. It's becoming clear that Russia is on a collision course with the Western world. Jaunībā viņa jūsmoja par operu, sapņoja kļūt par aktrisi un šo sapni arī savā ziņā piepildīja – viņa bija viena no pirmajām Radio literāri dramatisko raidījumu ansambļa (1945. gads) aktrisēm. Iepazīstieties - Valda Kalnroze (attēlā no kreisās). Viņas kontā ir arī diktora darbs un tad ilgi gadi radio dispečera un raidījumu daļas vadītājas amatā. „Tāpat kā manam papiņam (gleznotājam Valdim Kalnrozem) arī man ir ilgs mūžs un laba atmiņa,” bilst Valda Kalnroze, kura ir piecus gadus vecāka par Latvijas Radio un kuras stāstījumā ieskanas pamatīgs laikmets no radio vēstures. Skolas gados Valda Kalnroze jūsmoja par operu, bija bieža Baltā nama apmeklētāja un zināja no galvas, kurā ainā ar kādu elpas vilcienu Marisa Vētras spēlētais Otello žņaugs Dezdemonu. Operas un simfonisko mūziku Valda arī klausījās pa radio, bet pašai bija sapnis kļūt par aktrisi. Taču liktenim labpatikās pavērst Valdas Kalnrozes ceļu uz radio: te viņa bija gan aktrise, gan diktore, gan dispečere, gan programmu un raidījumu daļas vecākā redaktore, gan radījumu daļas vadītāja, gan programmu direkcijas galvenā redaktora vietniece. „Es taču esmu vienīgais radio darbinieks, kas ir vecāks par pašu radio,” ne bez lepnuma teic Valda Kalnroze intervijā. „Kad radio svinēs 90. dzimšanas dienu, man jau būs 95 gadi,” bilst cilvēks, kuru kolēģi mīļi dēvēja par Rozīti un kura ir saglabājusi atmiņā veselu laikmetu par šī skanošā raidītāja veidošanos. Pēc ģimnāzijas beigšanas Valda apņēmīgi dodas pa izvēlēto ceļu teātra mākslas virzienā: viņa trīs gadus apgūst runas un skatuves mākslu pie toreizējās Dailes teātra aktrises Emīlijas Viestures, kuras balsi Valda Kalnroze iemīlēja klausoties radio. Pēc šīm mācībām Valdu uzņem Voldemāra Pūces vadītajā Latvju drāmas ansamblī. Sākas Otrais Pasaules karš un drāmas ansamblis pārtrauc darbību. Kara laikā daudzi aktieri emigrē uz ārzemēm, bet tūlīt pēc kara dibinās jauni teātri gan Rīgā, gan citviet Latvijā, un aktrise Kalnroze saņem vairākus piedāvājumus no režisoriem un tostarp viņa tiek aicināta arī uz toreizējo Drāmas, tagad Nacionālo teātri, taču te iejaucas liktenis, un Valda nonāk Radio teātrī. Radio fonotēkas arhīvā ir atrodams tik viens ieraksts, kas liecina par Valdas Kalnrozes aktrises gaitām. Tā ir 1956. gadā ierakstītā Leona Paegles pasaku luga „Runga iz maisa”. 1948. gadā aktieru ansambli likvidē. Un šajā amatā radio paliek tik trīs cilvēki: aktrises darbu turpina un arī kļūst par bērnu raidījumu režisori Anastasija Stepulāne, līdzās radio aktiera darbam par galveno diktoru tiek iecelts Jānis Mierkalns un par diktori Valda Kalnroze. Pēc pāris gadiem Valdai piedāvā radio dispečeres darbu - jauna atbildība par to, lai katrs raidījums izskan tam paredzētajā laikā. Te vairs nav ne miņas no mākslas un lirikas, te ir minūtes, sekundes un nebeidzama precizitāte, tomēr radio direktors neliedz Valdai turpināt še aktrises gaitas. Vēlāk Valda Kalnroze tiek iecelta par programmu un raidījumu redakcijas vecāko redaktori, tad ilgus gadus līdz aiziešanai pensijā 1975. gadā viņa ir Latvijas Radio galvenā redaktora vietniece.
