What happens when your members are some of the world's most powerful data-driven companies, and they rely on you to protect their interests, guide policy, and create best practices across vastly different industries? How do you unite and serve these members while remaining agile in a fast-changing digital landscape? In this episode of Associations Thrive, host Joanna Pineda interviews Chris Mohr, President of the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA). Chris discusses:How SIIA represents 360 companies, including major players like Google, Meta, Amazon, and Thomson Reuters, all involved in data and information services. How SIIA is organized into verticals (market data, B2B media, and policy) to focus advocacy and engagement around shared interests. How information has shifted from being sold “by the copy” to being sold as a service, necessitating new regulations and best practices. The advocacy work SIIA undertakes to ensure the protection of the First Amendment, protects the dissemination of lawfully procured data, even as global privacy laws tighten.SIIA's work in creating best practices for “alt data”—non-public data used in trading, including web scraping and sentiment analysis. The importance of one-on-one conversations with members to understand sensitive policy positions and emerging issues.SIIA's role in guiding members through today's rapidly changing policy landscapes, including artificial intelligence and federal procurement thresholds. How SIIA's Market Insights initiative gathers industry data to deliver valuable research requested directly by members.References:SIIA Website
President of the Software Information Industry Association, Chris Mohr, joins Niki in the studio to break down two major tech cases at the Supreme Court involving Meta and NVIDIA, discuss what's next for Section 230 regulation, and share insights from his career transition from private practice to tech policy advocacy. Chris talks about how the courts are increasingly being used to shape tech policy as Congress remains gridlocked on major issues and Niki offers some free advice on deprecation policies. “...power doesn't like vacuums, right? So, where does that power go? If Congress isn't passing laws, then the courts have to interpret the old ones to new cases.” -Chris MohrFollow Chris on LinkedInLearn more about SIIAWho is Learned Hand? Opening Toast- Auburn During this season of giving thanks- Auburn showed their generosity by giving New Mexico State $1.85 million to whoop that ass 31-10 Auburn was favored by 25.5 points. NMS out gained them 414-213 and controlled the ball for nearly two-thirds of the game. In comparison, it only cost Alabama $600,00 to beat up on Chatanooga 66-10. FSU paid North Alabama $400,000 to beat them 58-13, although that doesn't compare to the cost of losing Jordan Travis to a gruesome leg injury. So, in honor of Auburn's generosity, Alabama has agreed to give Auburn an ass whooping this weekend free of charge, Roll Tide!Scumbag- Denver safety and Alabama Alum- Kareem Jackson Have to call out Bama Boys when they need it, Kareem needs to learn how to tackle without leading with his helmet. So far, this season he has been fined $89,670 for four illegal hits, he was just returning from a two-game suspension (that was reduced from four). Three plays into his return from suspension, he went helmet first into Josh Dobbs' head. The play wasn't even flagged Now he is facing a four-game suspension and stands to lose $558,889 in salary if he misses the four games. Among Bama alumni, only my former teammates, Chris Mohr, Cornelious Bennett and Howard Cross have played in more NFL games than Jackson, which is surprising given the way he keeps leading with the crown of his helmet. What I like about the NFL is that they involve former players when it comes to player safety. Jon Runyan is VP of football operations, he handed out the penalty while Derrick Brooks and James Thrash are the hearing officers that decide the appeals of on-the-field player disciplineComing in Hot- NFL While we are talking illegal hits and player safety- Buffalo Bills fullback Reggie Gilliam made the exact hit on Jets Kick Returner Xavier Gipson that Dallas Turner made on Jayden Daniels. No flag was thrown and it was even hailed as a "Can't miss Play: A Hit-Stick tackle" by the NFL.com (obviously referring to the Madden video game). Football is an extremely difficult game to play, players are moving at unheard of speeds, Defenders have mere seconds to make a play. That is why horse collars happen, late hits out of bounds, roughing the passer, facemasks, unnecessary roughness fouls. Defenders aren't being dirty, malicious, they don't want to get flagged, as Rich Eisen said, they are "playing football". Part of why we watch football is to see the high impact collisions, no one wants to see any player hurt, but that is the risk being taken by every person that decides to step on that field. It is why these tremendous athletes are paid millions to do what they love; they are willing to risk their future health and wellbeing to lay it all on the line each week.Coming in Hot- CFB Rivalry week- maybe chaos week? It starts at noon with #2 OSU @ #3 Michigan- both teams 11-0 The afternoon games include the Iron Bowl where #8 Alabama(10-1) goes to Auburn(6-5) and #5 Washington(11-0) hosting Washington State(5-6) The late games include #7 Texas(10-1) hosting Texas Tech(6-5), #4 FSU(11-0) visits Florida(5-6) with each team losing their starting QB, #1 UGA (11-0) is at Ga Tech (6-5) Probably the best matchup of the night games is #6 Oregon (10-1) hosting #11 Oregon State (8-3) Any upsets? Will we have to wait until the conference championships to get some shake-ups?

On average, only nine to twelve percent of people keep their New Year's Resolutions. When it comes to weight loss in particular, many people get discouraged when the number on the scale doesn't drop as quickly as they'd like – but a plateau is often a normal part of any weight loss journey. Dr. Chris Mohr, registered dietitian and ambassador for Nutrisystem -- the leading provider of health and wellness and weight loss solutions – can offer a number of tips to overcome these hurdles. Among them:• Get Enough Shut-Eye -- Lack of sleep can disrupt weight loss. If you're having trouble getting some shut-eye, try sticking to a regular sleep schedule and limiting your caffeine consumption and screen-time in the hours before bed.• Don't Skimp on Protein & Fiber -- Protein helps to preserve lean muscle mass while losing weight to help maintain metabolic rate. Also, protein and fiber are strongly related to satiety, which keep you feeling full longer.• Keep a Diet Journal – Track your food intake including all eating occasions (even nibbling), portion sizes and ingredients. This way, if you notice the scale is stuck, you can look back at your journal and see where you may be overdoing it. Nutrisystem's NuMi app is one way to organize your meal plan throughout your weight loss journey.• Overeating – sounds obvious, but remember that weight loss is dependent on “calories in” being lower than “calories out.” Meal delivery programs like Nutrisystem can help eliminate guesswork by providing the right balance of nutrients at every meal.

In the episode, we discuss the various devices he tried, including: The Oura ring, which measures quality & quantity of sleep, heart rate and general activity Other wearable devices, like a Garmin watch, which also measure quality & quantity of sleep, heart rate and activity Under Armour’s line of recovery pajamas The {highly recommended} Ooler Chill Pad — a thin mattress cover-like device containing small tubes of water that can be set to temperatures ranging from 55 – 110 degrees F A weighted sleep mask Chris and I wrap up the segment with a brief discussion about the importance of first tackling all of the other aspects of getting a good night’s sleep BEFORE buying any device. [Be sure to listen to The Sleep Episode and The Sleep Episode (Part II) if you haven’t already]. Before break, I share that Chris and I are now also sourdough baking friends, along with Sally of Real Mom Nutrition. I invite listeners of the show to reach out to me if they’re currently experimenting with sourdough baking during this time of shelter-in-place and let me know what they’re baking. I also remind listeners that I’m posting recipes on my Blog that I don’t talk about on the show and remind them to SUBSCRIBE to be notified of all my new recipes. I end the show with a brief reveal of how I’m now able to get curly hair that I don’t hate. I’ve been getting lots of compliments about it on Instagram, but all the credit goes to Alexis of Hummusapien. I watched a recent Instastories tutorial she gave about how she gets good curl, that’s not flat and stringy and too curly in others. Her tip has been a game-changer for me! While I’ll likely go back to a good home-blow-out using my beloved hair brush hair dryer, during this time of being home 100% of the time, I’m gonna opt for curly much more often. Lastly, I invite listeners to drop into the Facebook group and share their stay-at-home beauty tips. I’d love to include them in a future episode! Thanks so much for tuning in this week. Take care. ~Regan --- Today’s episode is brought to you by Life Extension. One of the more common questions I get asked is “Regan, which supplements do you take on a regular basis?” And while there are certain supplements that move in and out of my life, there’s one that’s been taking up permanent residence for quite a while. And that supplement is vitamin D. I became aware of the importance of vitamin D years ago when I learned that HALF of the population has a vitamin D insufficiency. And while we know that your skin can produce vitamin D, typically that production alone typically isn’t enough or at least, it wasn’t for me. Through Life Extension’s personalized lab testing I found that my vitamin D was low and now I take their 125 mcg (5000 IU) soft gel daily. If you’d like to learn more about vitamin D, what I take and why I take it, you can read more here on my Blog or visit LifeExtension.com/Regan to purchase and receive $5 off $50 or more plus FREE shipping.
Experts say nearly 45 million kids play sports in the U.S. and of those, 3 to 5 million experience some form of brain injury like a concussion each year. In this two-part podcast series, one mom shares her son's story following a traumatic brain injury suffered during a basketball game. In Part 2, I interview the nation's leading expert on targeted nutritional therapy for concussion protection and recovery. Up first in this second episode of the series, I'm interviewing Dr. Michael Lewis -- founder of Brain Health Education and Research Institute and a global expert in nutritional interventions for brain health, particularly the use of omega-3 fatty acids for the prevention, management, and rehabilitation of concussions and traumatic brain injury (TBI). In this episode we discuss: Dr. Lewis' distinguished career and how he got involved in treatment of traumatic brain injury The statistics about kids and concussions -- both how many are experienced each year and what the general recovery rates are His general protocol for both treatment and protection against concussion, which includes optimal doses of the specific Omega 3s, DHA and EPA Why it's important for parents to be aware of the levels of DHA and EPA in their child's supplement, noting specifically that specified doses of most gummies typically don't contain near enough DHA and EPA What type of symptom improvement patients see and when, when following his concussion recovery protocol We end the interview with a brief discussion of Dr. Lewis' book -- When Brain Collides -- and the importance of the material in it as a resource for parents with kids playing sports, specifically. After my interview with Dr. Lewis I share a brief discussion with frequent podcast guest, Dr. Chris Mohr. Having known Chris for years, I was aware that he and his family are already following these advanced levels of Omega 3 supplementation and wanted to give him a chance -- as both an expert in the field and parent of two young children -- to share with listeners what his family is doing in the way of Omega 3 supplements. I end the show with one final interview -- a quick discussion with my friend and colleague, Sally of Real Mom Nutrition, about her No Spend January experience. Thanks so much for tuning in to this two-part series. It's truly been one of my favorite podcasts I've produced to date. I hope you enjoy them both and take away information helpful to both you and your family. If you enjoyed this episode and listen to the show on Apple Podcasts, please be sure to leave a 5-star rating and/or a positive review. I look forward to bringing you a new episode next week. Take care. ~Regan

And just like that, we're back where we started -- SLEEP! When you open up your podcast app today you'll see I'm revisiting the topic that kicked off the podcast -- Sleep. Since sleepless nights plague many of us after 40 it's always worthy for a discussion and especially in light of the fact that so many folks who follow me on Instagram have asked about my gravity blanket. So that's what I'm doing today... discussing my weighted blanket and more ... with Dr. Kara Mohr (yes, you've met her hubs on the show before, Chris Mohr.) Specifically, Kara is sharing more about how the habits we’ve developed during the day may be setting us up for tossing and turning at night. We cover: our mutual love for weighted blankets and Kara's personal recommendation for Gravity Blankets and a sunrise alarm the importance of keeping your "work/office space" outside of your bedroom to avoid sleepless nights how choices to enjoy an extra glass of wine in the evening or to stay up a little later should be intentional with the knowledge that it will disturb sleep Kara's history with getting what she thought was "enough sleep" only to realize it was adversely impacting her overall mood and day-to-day interactions I close out today's episode with additional follow up about a recent recipe I mentioned at the beginning of a recent {wednesday rewind} of The Protein {Powder} Episode and shared on the blog and -- the recipe for How I Created My Own High-Fiber Protein Powder. I share insight into my discussion with dietitian colleague Danielle Omar about "how much fiber" is actually in this recipe and how/why some people might want to use less. I end the show by sharing two voicemails I received recently from fellow dietitian and fan of the show, Lauren Harris-Pincus -- a self-proclaimed F-Factor fan -- about the prebiotic inulin fiber she's subbing into her version of the F-Factor 20/20 protein powder and the results she's having. As unmillennials, choosing a “protein powder” used to mean choosing between vanilla or chocolate Carnation Instant Breakfast powder. But walk down the supplement aisle of your local supermarket and you may wonder if you’re actually in a bodybuilder’s kitchen. Mega-jars of protein powders have gone mainstream, but do you really know if any of these powders are for you, what benefits they offer or how to choose one? Today’s podcast features frequent show contributor, Dr. Chris Mohr, a nationally-known nutrition and fitness expert who has been helping women understand the importance of protein in their diets for years. Today he’s back with me to discuss: Current protein recommendations for women per meal Benefits of consuming recommended amounts of protein per meal How protein powders fit into these protein recommendations The differences between various protein powders — including whey, casein, soy, pea protein and more A clarification about soy myths and reassurance that soy protein powders can be a healthful option for individuals who want an alternative to milk-based protein (I also offer a disclaimer that while the research Chris shares is not sponsor-related, he and I both attended a sponsored conference recently where this research was presented. Our attendance was partially sponsored to attend this conference.) To close out the show, I share a quick recap of a New York Times article I shared recently in the This Unmillennial Life Facebook group on the naming recommendations of the next generation behind millennials. And lastly, I preview a discussion happening in the group about all the different “millennialisms” we DON’T care for (spoiler: “AF” and “Adulting” are hot button no-no’s in the unmillennial world). If you’ve been listening to the show for a while or are a new listener and have thoughts about what you like/don’t like, I’d love for you to share them with me through this very brief LISTENER SURVEY. Do you find yourself confused and overwhelmed when it comes to nutrition? How and what should you eat? What should you eliminate? One expert says to avoid carbs at all costs, and eat a high fat diet, and the next says the exact opposite. One says you need to eat 5-6 times a day for optimal results and the other says meal frequency and timing doesn’t matter. It becomes even more confusing when you look at the plethora of diets; carnivore, low carb, high carb, carb cycling, keto, paleo, low protein, high protein, vegetarian, vegan, IF, flex dieting, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. It’s insanity!! You just want to know what works and what doesn’t. Dr. Chris Mohr has made a career out of teaching people simple, practical and effective ways to eat for a healthy lifestyle. His website, Mohr Results, provides info that helps people juggle the demands of a busy life while fulfilling their desire to live actively and fully. He is a nutrition spokesperson and consultant to a number of media outlets and corporations including Under Armour, Reebok, Clif Bar, Gatorade and Nestle. He has also served as the consulting Sports Nutritionist for the Cincinnati Bengals and University of Massachusetts Athletic Program. He has appeared on several popular TV shows as a nutritional guest expert and served as the nutritional consultant on LL Cool J’s NY Times Bestselling book, “LL Cool J’s Platinum Workout.” If you wanna take the guesswork and stress out of eating right, listen as we discuss: What exciting things does he have going on in 2019? [4:54] What’s his take on current nutrition trends like the carnivore diet, low carb and keto? [7:28] Should you base your diet on the way you train? [10:54] What is his stance on meal frequency and intermittent fasting? [11:18] How he eats for overall cognitive function. [15:15] Does meal timing help improve performance and strength? [19:09] Has he worked with anyone who has experienced improved cognitive function from a keto diet? [20:03] What total protein intake does he recommend for the average person? [20:56] The Top 10 Foods to promote excellent health. [23:04] His “go to” list of supplements. [26:08] What are his thoughts on post workout nutrition? [29:09] How sleep impacts all aspects of your life. [30:36] How to get a good night’s sleep. [33:04] Why you should focus on the pillars (nutrition, sleep and movement) before anything else. [41:14] What does a week of activity look like for him? [42:18] Why we MUST have parameters around screen time. [44:09] This episode is brought to you by Athletic Greens. Can a keto diet be healthy? It's a question debated among dietitians, asked frequently in the media and pondered among friends interested in losing weight. While you can easily find vocal proponents of a ketogenic diet and those who swear it off as if it's a nutritional nuisance, today's episode uncovers some of the more positive parts of a ketogenic diet approach to eating and acknowledges the reality that a keto diet isn't for everyone. In this episode, I'm interviewing Christa Biegler, a registered dietitian nutritionist and host of The Less Stress Life podcast. Christa uses principles of a ketogenic diet in her practice for some patients and offers listeners the following insights on a keto diet: The difference between a ketogenic diet and a "low carb" diet The "right" way to do a ketogenic diet, including a focus on anti-inflammatory foods Thoughts on whether or not a ketogenic diet is a lifelong option Patients that are most suited to try a ketogenic diet and those that are not Insights on the best methods to determine if a person is in ketosis Christa rounds out the segment discussing how/why/when she chooses to incorporate a keto diet with her clients and why she believes it's not always the best place to start. After my interview with Christa, I give listeners both my thoughts on framing the internal dialog around the desire to lose weight and provide one additional perspective on ketogenic diets by my friend and colleague, Dr. Chris Mohr. In the wrap up to the show, I do something a little different. I share a recap of the Life Changing Chili recipe I shared on Halloween via the This Unmillennial Life Facebook Group. It's a simple 4 ingredient chili recipe that friends, family, and fans tell me is one of their all-time faves. It's just so simple... you can't help but love it! Magazine covers may tout the importance of protein for weight loss, but what if the benefits go far beyond that? Today's episode of This Unmillennial Life uncovers why protein as we age (starting as early as our 30s!) is so important to maintain lifelong health and independence, plus covers one of the more common quick-to-grab protein options -- protein bars -- and identifies the best choices. In the show I interview Chris Mohr, RD, PhD (Don't miss the interview I did with Chris in The CrossFit Episode) and Jessica Crandall, RD, CDE, AFAA. We discuss: The importance of eating protein throughout the day How much protein to aim for at each meal What an adequate serving size of protein looks like Why some protein bars may be glorified candy bars What you should look for on the label when choosing a protein bar What ratio of protein to calories makes up a good protein bar choice How choosing low-calorie foods (like low-calorie nut milks) may seem like a good idea but is actually hindering your ability to get enough protein What ingredients to look for on the labels of protein bars that make them a good or not-so-good choice Whether or not protein bars are safe choices for kids I close out this week's show with my personal recommendations for 4 protein bars I like and recommend (which include ALDI Elevation Mint Chocolate bars, Think Thin Brownie Crunch, Pure Protein Salted Caramel and Rx Bars). I also discuss my thoughts on Quest protein bars. (Spoiler: I'm not a fan of Quest personally for taste and digestibility, but know many people love it so I recommend it as one you may want to try.) If you think CrossFit is a fitness craze only enjoyed by millennials, think again. With more than 4 million devotees, CrossFit has captured the hearts, minds and muscles of men and women all over the world. But with all that attention and success comes a fair amount of scrutiny. Today's show jumps right into uncovering the strengths and weaknesses of CrossFit. In this episode: You’ll hear two different perspectives from listeners of the show -- Holly and Stacy -- who share what they do (or don't) like about CrossFit. I'll also provide some personal insights on what I experienced when I tried CrossFit for the first time. Then, I’ll share my interview with Chris Mohr, Ph.D., one of the country's leading fitness experts (who also happens to be a fellow Registered Dietitian). Specifically, he discusses: why CrossFit "works" the importance of lifting heavy weights within the context of efficient, effective and safe weight training why the CrossFit community is a positive part of the overall experience when CrossFit crosses over into risky territory the importance of training to fatigue and not through pain I wrap up my conversation with Dr. Mohr with insights on how to find a CrossFit box that provides adequate support and training and then offer a personal plea to women everywhere to start weight training now, no matter whether you try CrossFit or not. To close out the show, you’ll hear from Rita, a fan of the show, answering the question "What Makes You SO Unmillennial?" You'll also hear her personal story on how the Eyelashes episode helped her (And Rita if you're reading -- Thank You for Your Message!) When it comes to well-being, we all fall off the tracks every once and a while. And that's okay because well-being is not a zero-sum game. On this episode, Deloitte Well-being leader Jen Fisher asks Drs. Chris and Kara Mohr—specialists in nutrition and fitness who also happen to be a married couple—to share personal stories on how they manage (and sometimes mismanage) their busy lives with juggling family, work, and their own well-being.

As unmillennials we've come a long way since the days of leotards and legwarmers. And while group fitness has evolved over the years, one thing remains true — the best fitness routine for YOU is the one you'll actually do, consistently, and love. I've shared on the show that my personal choice for fitness is BodyPump. today, I'm taking time to explain why. In this episode of This Unmillennial Life, I'm geeking out on all things BodyPump related with my friend, fellow food blogger and BodyPump instructor, Katie Webster. In the show we discuss: How Katie started attending BodyPump classes a decade ago and why she is still going (and teaching) today What the “rep effect” is and why BodyPump recommends it as a way to build strength What to expect in a BodyPump class, including music, timing, tempo and weight selection The importance of choosing weights that challenge, but don't compromise form Following my interview with Katie, I share what Chris Mohr, PhD, RD, a frequent contributor to the show, shared with me as to his thoughts on BodyPump. Specifically, Chris addresses the notion that group fitness can be a big benefit of BodyPump and why continuing to add weight and challenging yourself is the key to strength gains in the class. To wrap up the show, I share a few finds from LesMillsOnDemand to help you with either your own personal fitness quest at home and/or helping your kids get moving more. What’s the most successful diet? Is it Paleo? Ketogenic? Portion Fix? Mediterranean? Atkins? Grapefruit? Hot Dog? LOL...just checking to see if you’re paying attention. One of my students told me there is a REAL diet out there based around the Hot Dog Diet. We all need to read this article to prevent more of that going on in the world. In all seriousness, crap like grapefruit diets, miracle pills, and one size fits all solutions are assailing the consumer, your clients, all the time. People are so desperate for something to help them, that they will almost believe anything anyone says that promises the quick fix to their problems… especially their trainer. This is why, more than ever, you need to be a trusted resource people can turn to for help and guidance. You better know your stuff. Being up on, and having the know how to talk about sound nutrition practices and behavior change for your clients is a must today in the industry. That said, what’s the most successful diet you should recommend? I’ll give you a hint- the answer isn’t above, or is it? I recently had Chris Mohr, a leading dietician in America, on The Fitnesspreneur’s Life Show Podcast and he shared that the data shows that the most successful diet is the one that people stick with, plain and simple. Here are 5 quick takeaways from this article: 1. Become a trusted long-term solution person instead of a short-term fixer. 2. Run a business that's based upon trust and education. 3. Educate yourself on nutrition so you can have intelligent, meaningful conversations with your clients. 4. Establish a business and health practices based on good science. 5. Stay within your scope and know how to refer out, and build everything on good habits and behaviors that we can teach society. Check out the FULL article here: http://vitobiz.com/KetoDietInsights. You won't want to miss it. It is a much needed debate we to keep on going. -V

For this important interview we welcome Tony Szamboti, mechanical engineer and 9/11 researcher, who joins us for a detailed discussion on crucial evidence that, in the words of his research group, "clearly demonstrate(s) that the reports produced by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) on the destruction of the World Trade Center (WTC) were unscientific and fraudulent." With the group's recently-published white paper as our focus, "Areas of Specific Concern in the NIST WTC Reports" which lists 25 Points seriously challenging NIST's work in this area, we discuss striking new evidence demonstrating that NIST intentionally omitted significant structural components from its analysis of Building 7, and explore the almost inescapable conclusion that this was done in order to avoid the explanation of controlled demolition. We also discuss the potential these findings might have for legal action. (Tony Szamboti is a U.S. Navy Veteran, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University, and has worked predominantly in the Aerospace industry for the last 28 years.) Dr. Chris Mohr joins us to drop knowledge on: Paleo- the good, the bad, and the ugly. Should you put butter in your coffee? Is bacon really a healthy food? Does "grain brain" exist? Can you really get fat from eating an orange? What are the best ways to reduce inflammation? What are the negatives of low carb diets? Does protein synthesis equal muscle growth? Are there any supplements that are essential? How much fish oil should you really take? What about carbs around training? What are Dr. Mohr's favorite foods? How do you instill healthy eating habits in your kids

For the "half-term" break we present a Guest Episode courtesy of No Lies Radio & Colorado 911 Visibility. The Gage Vs. Mohr 9/11 Debate, "Collapse by Fire? Or Explosive Controlled Demolition?" is perhaps the most gracious and mutually-respectful debate on 9/11, which took place in 2011 at the University of Colorado, Boulder, between Richard Gage A.I.A (founder of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth) and Chris Mohr (investigative journalist and non-denominational minister). Due to the length of the debate, the audio has been divided into two separate mp3 files. (For show notes, please visit TheMindRenewed.com)

On Sunday afternoon, March 6th, at the Boulder campus of the University of Colorado, Colorado 9/11 Visibility hosted a debate between Richard Gage, AIA (American Institute of Architects), and Chris Mohr, Denver investigative journalist and nondenominational minister. This is the audo of that historic debate. The question: What brought down the three World Trade Center skyscrapers? Richard Gage, AIA, is a San Francisco Bay Area architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He has been an architect for over 23 years and has worked on most types of building construction, including numerous fire-proofed, steel-framed buildings. His quest for the truth about 9/11 began in 2006, and he subsequently founded Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth. Chris Mohr, investigative journalist and advocate of the “natural collapse” theory, is a sincere seeker of the truth who has extensively researched the collapses of the World Trade Center (WTC) buildings, consulted with independent physicists and engineers, and passionately argues that the buildings collapsed due to the plane impacts and fires. In November 2010 at Denver’s Mercury Cafe, Mohr debated attorney Earl Staelin on the collapse of the twin towers. This debate was unprecedented in its civility and professionalism. During this debate between Chris Mohr and Richard Gage, the discussion explored not only the collapse of the twin towers, but also that of 47-story World Trade Center Building 7, which collapsed completely at 5:21 pm on 9/11/01. For those of you not familiar with the collapse of WTC7, this is a riveting, don’t-miss controversy. We look forward to a dynamic, respectful, and thoroughly informative exploration of these topics. Special thanks to Colorado 9-11 Visibility and all the volunteers and donors that made this event possible.
