On April 30, we celebrated the kickoff of the 5th annual, global Medical Innovation Olympics (register today at https://medicalinnovationolympics.com) with a moving interview in which a 5-Time Olympic Gold Medalist swimmer, Type 1 Diabetes patient advocate and CEO, Anchor Line Sprots, Gary Hall Jr openly shared the devastation he went through losing all his Olympic models, his house and business in the Los Angeles Fires in 2025. He describes how the "fire left some piece of it in his belly" to pursue what he calls a new do-or-die mission for Olympic-adjacent sports to grow their fan engagement, funding, and popularity. In this conversation Gary demonstrates why he is a true leader of the people who fights daily for a bigger purpose, who cares deeply for the plight of the human community, patients. Camryn Suggs is an emerging leader in the North Alabama small business and culinary community, serving as a driving force behind the continued growth and customer experience at Valentina's Pizzeria. Known for its commitment to quality ingredients, Valentina's has quickly become a local favorite — and Camryn plays a key role in ensuring every guest feels part of the family.Camryn's journey to become the GM at Valentina's was very untraditional. She was a Figure Skater for much of her youth, supported by her amazing family, and then went to study Business and Cyber Security at the University of Alabama-Huntsville. She then decided to attend Law School in Knoxville, TN. She had some amazing internship and clerkship opportunities during her time in law school that really helped her to find the niche she was most passionate about - Family Law. She passed the bar and moved back to North Alabama to begin working. Camryn's transition to working at Valentina's started as just working as a server to earn some extra money to pay down school debt and to have some extra cash. However, she really enjoyed it and approached Joe Carlucci about coming on full-time in a management capacity. It was great timing as Joe had just purchased the land where they would build the larger store where Valentina's now operates. Camryn was all-in and had extensive responsibilities placed on her in the construction, design, decoration, and staffing of the new location.During this episode we also discuss Camryn's recent successes in competing at the the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas. This year she won best traditional and non-traditional pizza for the Southeast Region. This makes the 3rd year in a row that Camryn has competed and won at the event. For more information on Camryn Suggs and Valentina's visit https://valentinaspizzeria.comHost/Interviewer: M.    It finally happened and I couldn't be happier.  The US Women's Olympic Hockey Team reeled me in to an Olympics I was pouting over because of all the anti Trump coverage from a giant corporate media machine that doesn't hate you enough.  These women are the best and through a fluke, had their backs to the wall against Canada playing for the gold.  But these "Free Bird" rocking, bad ass, flag waving chicks saved the day in dramatic overtime fashion and did what we would all do.  The wore the metals, put on some Lynyrd Skynyrd and drank champagne into the night. God Bless America!   It had been decades since an American figure skater won gold and that ended as well when Alysa Liu dazzled with pure California style and American swagger.  Her story is one NBC Sports doesn't want you to know as China has tried to pay her millions to compete for them.  Her dad was born Chinese and escaped the oppressive regime for America many, many years ago and we watched a true immigration success story play out right before our eyes.     Royals Hall of Famer Bo Jackson shares a really fun story about a really hot day game at Kauffman Stadium.  Gracie Hunt is headed to Turning Point USA with Erica Kirk this summer.    In DC, it's time for a voter ID standing filibuster in the Senate.  We'll give you a history lesson about the longest filibuster on record.  Here's a hint... it has to do with racist democrats.   Trump opens the Board of Peace in DC and shares a couple man crush stories on JD Vance and Marco Rubio.  Kash Patel talks to much on Dan Bongino's podcast.  A television executive says Savanah Guthrie is never going back to the Today Show.  And a famous comedian could be the reason Trump is president today in our Final Final.

Aarifah describes to Peter White what figure skating is, how she became involved and whether or not her visual impairment has ever become an obstacle in pursuing the sport. The Entry/Exit System (EES) is a new digital system designed to keep track of when non-EU citizens enter and leave the Schengen Area. It covers 29 European countries, mostly in the EU, and it requires fingerprints and a photograph to be registered. Chris Kay contacted In Touch about the new EES system because he was concerned how he and other members of the Visually Impaired Veterans Ski Club would fare when managing the new system when they take their next annual ski trip to Italy. The Independent's Travel Correspondent, Simon Calder, helps address Chris' concerns and provides more general advice for visually impaired people on future travel through countries who come under this new system.Presenter: Peter White Producer: Beth Hemmings Production Coordinator: Kim Agostino Website image description: Peter White sits smiling in the centre of the image and he is wearing a dark green jumper. In this episode, Dave and Jamison answer these questions: A listener named Steven says, Long-time listener of the podcast here—it always brings me so much joy! Should I prioritize title over salary? I'm currently based in Europe, working as a Senior Engineer at a big company that pays really well. The problem is, there's almost no chance for promotion due to the economy and budget constraints. Plus, because of the organizational structure, I'm stuck solving small problems that don't have a big impact. It's frustrating—but again, the pay is great. Recently, I got an offer for a Staff Engineer position at another company. The catch is, the pay isn't as good (30%+ cut), and I'm not sure about their culture or structure yet. However, the title could potentially open more doors for me in the future. Should I take the offer, accept the pay cut, and hope it's a step forward for my career? Hello! Long time listener, first-time caller :-) I'm on the final stretch of classes to finish my BS in computer science at WGU, most of which I've done while working. I'm now 40, and I have had 3 previous occupations and employers: aircraft mechanic for 5 years at a small shop, figure skater with Disney on Ice for 6 years, and most recently a partner at an environmental remediation/heavy construction firm for 10 years where my primary responsibilities were field crew management and technical writing for ecology reports. I would love your advice on how I could use these experiences to stand out on a resume or in a job interview. How can I indicate that I'm a hard worker and that I know just enough to know that I know nothing and am ready to learn? Thank you for your time, keep up the good work!

Spoiler alert: perfect Georgie was born in 2023, so there is a happy ending, but the picture on Instagram of Tara, curled up on her couch, heart-broken and clutching pregnancy tests, sent waves through the fertility community. In 2012, Zahra Lari from the UAE, made history by becoming the first figure skater to compete in a hijab. When she was 17 she took part in her first international competition, and although her routine went well, the judges deducted points for her headscarf. After the competition, she met with the International Skating Union and convinced them that the rules should allow the hijab to be worn, with no further deductions being made. The bill, known as the Protect Reproductive Options (PRO) Act, passed by a vote of 34-33 and now goes to Gov. Bill Walz’s desk. He has indicated he will sign it. H.F. 1, authored by Sen. Jennifer McEwen, would create a “fundamental right” to abortion and would allow abortions for any reason, even late in pregnancy. Since a fetus can feel pain as young as 20 weeks into gestation and no later than 28-30 weeks, some states have mandated anesthesia for babies to be aborted. Minnesota has no such law. LifeNews: Many amendments that would have made H.F. 1 less extreme were voted down or thwarted. The defeated amendments included ones to protect unborn children in the third trimester (with exceptions), to protect against the barbaric procedure known as partial-birth abortion, to provide the option of anesthesia when unborn children can feel pain, and to protect women’s health by requiring that third-trimester abortions take place in a hospital. Additional abortion-expanding bills have also been introduced at the Capitol. One bill, H.F. 91/S.F. 70, would repeal numerous abortion-related laws, including a law protecting newborns who survive abortion. Backers of the bill claim it only legalizes what was already legal and will codify the “human right” to abortion into law. Fox News: Opponents disagree, arguing the bill establishes a right to abortion up until the moment of birth. Republicans had attempted to amend the bill with “guard rails” that would restrict abortions in the third-trimester, but the newly-elected Democratic majority blocked their amendments. “Today we are not just codifying Roe v. Wade or Doe v. Gomez, as the author has indicated, we are enacting the most extreme bill in the country,” said Republican Senate Minority Leader Mark Johnson, of East Grand Forks during debate. https://redstate.com/bonchie/2023/01/29/finland-introduces-first-transgender-figure-skater-and-things-go-very-badly-n695692 Finland Introduces First 'Transgender' Figure Skater, and Things Go Very Badly Far-left ideology continued to make a mockery of Western civilization over the weekend. Finland, which hosts the European Figure Skating Championships, decided it’d be a great idea to hold an opening ceremony that featured a “transgender” figure skater. It’s the entire performance. As the clip rolls, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry because it looks like he’s never stepped into an ice rink before. If you strapped skates on some random hobo, I’m pretty sure they could do the same job. As someone quipped on Twitter in response, it’s like watching one of those videos where a football team lets the young kid with cancer score a TD. Except in this case, this isn’t a young kid with cancer. It’s a full-grown man living out his mental illness for all the world to see. Worse, that mental illness is being affirmed as good and proper by entire nations. https://www.foxnews.com/media/bill-gates-addresses-jeffrey-epstein-relationship-awkward-interview-i-had-dinner-with-him-thats-all Bill Gates addresses Jeffrey Epstein relationship in awkward interview: 'I had dinner with him and that's all' Microsoft co-founder and billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates continued to downplay his relationship with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, claiming for the "100th time" they were merely dinner pals. Australia’s ABC 7.30 host Sarah Ferguson noted during an interview with Gates on Monday "one of the issues that dogged" his relationship to ex-wife, Melinda French Gates, was his ties to Epstein. An MPD spokesman confirmed the department relieved Officer Preston Hemphill of duty in a Monday statement to Fox News Digital. The 26-year-old officer joined the force in 2018 and allegedly used his taser on Nichols prior to the beating by five other officers. Preston, who is white, has not yet been charged with a crime in connection to the incident. Memphis police say he is the subject of an ongoing investigation, however. The five other officers, who are black, include Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Desmond Mills Jr., Emmitt Martin III and Justin Smith. They were each terminated on Jan. 18 and are facing seven counts: second-degree murder; aggravated assault, act in concert; two counts of aggravated kidnapping; two counts of official misconduct; and official oppression. Officials released footage of Nichols' beating on Friday. It shows the five officers punching, kicking, and hitting Nichols with batons as he lies prone on January 7. He died of his injuries in the hospital three days later. In addition to firing the officers, Police Director Cerelyn "CJ" Davis also permanently disbanded the city's so-called Scorpion unit on Saturday. The Unit included the five officers and was focused on preventing and punishing street crime. Nichols' beating and death has led to outrage acrossthe country, with the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) requesting to meet directly with President Biden to discuss police reforms. The group will meet with the president Wednesday. https://thepostmillennial.com/breaking-pro-life-activist-mark-houck-found-not-guilty-in-philadelphia?utm_campaign=64487 Pro-Life activist Mark Houck found NOT GUILTY in Philadelphia On Monday, a Philadelphia jury found pro-life activist Mark Houck not guilty of violations of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. According to Life News, Houck testified during the trial that on October 13, 2021, now-former Planned Parenthood Elizabeth Blackwell Health Center escort Bruce Love chased Houck 100 feet down the sidewalk and across the street to stop Houck from counseling two individuals who had left the planned Parenthood location. The two made contact, with Houck moving Love out of the way. In a second incident the same day, Houck and his then-12-year-old son were standing by temselves 50 feet from the clinic entrance and were praying, when Love walked over and stood two feet away from the son and started saying "vile and nasty things." Despite being told by Houck to stop harassing his son and go away, Love did not, which ended in Houck pushing Love away. Charges stemming from the 2021 incident had initially gone through the state court system and was thrown out. The case was picked up by the Biden administration's Department of Justice nearly a year later. On September 23, 2022, Houck's home, where his wife and children were, was swarmed by roughly 15 vehicles and dozens of armed federal SWAT officers. Houck was arrested during the incident. Video evidence shown by the prosecution during the trial reportedly showed Love approaching Houck, who then shoved the 72-year-old back. After the shove, Love fell down. The prosecution alleged that the altercation happened after a previous engagement between the two men, but Planned Parenthood did not save any of their camera footage from the day except the excerpt shown. Speaking outside the courthouse on Monday, Houck thanked those who supported him and his family over the duration of the trial and leading up to it. https://twitter.com/i/status/1620164374118961153 - Play Video Smart Pricing Table: Do you own a business and write a lot of proposals?
