Nell'alto del cielo, Elios tutto osserva e tutto conosce, persino il ratto di Persefone non riesce a celarsi al suo sguardo onnisciente.Come scrive Macrobio nei Saturnali: “Se il Sole, secondo l'opinione degli antichi, detiene e governa tutte le altre stelle e le presiede solo nel movimento dei pianeti, e se è vero che le stelle con le loro orbite regolano l'ordine degli eventi umani, dobbiamo necessariamente considerare il Sole come supremo governatore del nostro destino: l'origine di tutto ciò che accade intorno a noi.”In effetti, senza lo splendore della danza del Sole, non solo non ci sarebbe luce per il nostro pianeta, ma non si sarebbe nemmeno potuto formare il sistema solare. Il Sole è al centro della nostra esperienza del ritmo dell'esistenza. Distingue il giorno della notte, porta a maturazione i frutti della terra, controlla il ciclo delle stagioni, contribuisce al ciclo dell'acqua. Metal is voor stoïcijns coach Dennis de Gruijter zoveel meer dan herrie, 'sleeeejuuuur' roepen en bier drinken. Metal is voor hem het portaal naar andere werelden: eerst die van de duisternis, daarna die van de filosofie. In deze uitzending laat Dennis (en zijn dochter!) horen hoeveel filosofische lagen de metal ontsluit. Als er één filosofiestroming is die trv kvlt metal is, dan is het wel de stoïcijnse filosofie. Alles wat gebeurt in de wereld, zegt de stoïcijnse filosoof, is van tevoren onverbiddelijk bepaald. De vrijheid en autonomie van de mens zit hem erin dat hij vrij is in zijn oordeel hierover. Dus ja, er is lijden, weerstand, Irene Moors en de smurfen, teleurstelling, duisternis, tokkies op fatbikes, trauma, geweld, clowns met een alcoholprobleem, strijd, oorlog, alles. Maar, zegt stoïcijns coach Dennis de Gruijter: “Wie zich wil ontwikkelen heeft weerstand nodig. En weerstand of tegenslag is een alomtegenwoordige grondstof!” Juist de metal heeft hem tot die inzichten gebracht. “Dankzij metal ben ik me gaan verdiepen in Engelse literatuur en klassieke filosofie”, schrijft hij op LinkedIn. “En, hoe raar het ook klinkt, het is tot vandaag een inspiratiebron voor mijn Stoïcijnse coaching. Tím s názvom RedSpark vyhral so svojou hrou Tartaros v dvoch kategóriách – najlepší naratív a prístupnosť hry. Konkurovalo im pritom vyše tisíc hier z 30-tich rôznych krajín sveta.Tartaros je dobrodružná atmosférická hra s retro prvkami a logickými hádankami. Jej dej sa odohráva vo fiktívnom svete starovekého gréckeho podsvetia a pri tvorbe príbehu sa tvorcovia inšpirovali mytologickým príbehom o Hádovi a Persefone. Andrea Piva"La ragazza eterna"Bompiani Editorewww.bompiani.itDal 5 al 7 luglio 2024, Bari ospiterà la quinta edizione di “Lungomare di Libri“, un evento culturale che trasforma il lungomare della città in una libreria a cielo aperto. Organizzato dal Comune di Bari in collaborazione con il Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino, l'evento coinvolge circa 25 librerie e oltre 30 editori pugliesi. Andrea Piva, sarà ospite venerdì 5 luglio.Renata è una fuoriclasse, una donna che indossa bellezza e intelligenza con la grazia di una farfalla tropicale: per questo, forse, Boccia si è sempre fatto una ragione che il loro amore non potesse assumere la forma della coppia borghese, e ha addirittura trovato il coraggio per partecipare al matrimonio di lei con un altro. Ma un giorno Renata suona alla porta del suo appartamento nel centro di Bari e gli rivela di aver ricevuto una diagnosi che non lascia speranza; il suo ritorno è una richiesta di aiuto. Secondo il suo stile imprevedibile, però, Renata sceglie la via della rimozione tuffandosi nella variopinta vita mondana barese, e tocca a Boccia – che è psichiatra e ha un alto sentimento della sua missione – fare i conti con l'ombra del male che li ha lambiti. È così che, insieme a un collega, comincia a pensare alla possibilità di sperimentare proprio con Renata una terapia illegale per la legge italiana ma della cui efficacia è molto convinto: quella psichedelica, che la comunità scientifica sta riscoprendo nelle sue potenzialità di cura della depressione, delle dipendenze e delle angosce più profonde tramite sostanze come la psilocibina, l'ayahuasca, l'lsd. Nel 2002 scrive, sempre per la regia del fratello, il film Mio cognato, e nel 2008 firma la sceneggiatura di Galantuomini, per la regia di Edoardo Winspeare. Interview by Kris PetersAndorran metal outfit Persefone are a band unto themselves.With a sound that can be loosely described as progressive rock meets melodic death metal, Persefone have forged their name crafted in their sonic diversity.2024, and in particular the band's new EP Lingua Ignota - set for release on February 2 - ushers in a new era for the band, with vocal duties being assumed by Daniel Rodriguez Flys. His DNA is all over the new EP, which features five songs covering the entire spectrum of Persefone's music, with subtle nods at their future. Drummer Bobby joined HEAVY to talk more about the EP and Persefone's future."Man, I just want to release the new music," he smiled. "We've been working so much into this new release lately that I just want to release it and people to start listening to it. We finished the recording in August, so it's been a while now. And since we are about to go on tour in ten days, I really want people to listen to the new songs before that because we are playing the whole EP live and I want them to at least know the songs a little bit."In the full interview, Bobby talks more about the EP and what they were going for musically, describes the band's sonic structure, introduces their new vocalist and what he brings to the band, runs through each of the five EP tracks individually and explains where they fit in with the recording, how Lingua Ignota differs musically to previous release metanoia, what's next for the band and more.

Diktet reiser ikke bare spørsmålet om erotisk kjærlighet mellom menn, men også spørsmålet om lyrikkens bruk av myter. Dette temaet står sentralt i diskusjonen av det neste diktet på programmet: nobelprisvinner Louise Glücks «A Myth of Devotion» fra samlingen Averno (2006). Her arbeider dikteren med myten om Persefone, som brukes til å si noe om forholdet mellom kjønnene og om barnets overgang fra preseksuelt til seksuelt vesen. We discussed the length between each release of their albums, how their government support them, how long it takes to write one minute of music in Persefone and getting up at 3am to record a music video.
