Sir Richard Eyre, the renowned theatre and film director, who has served as a BBC Governor, shares his concerns over the cuts to radio drama programming, the broader challenges facing the BBC's cultural remit, the tensions between the BBC's public service mission and commercial pressures, and role of the BBC in nurturing and sustaining the UK's cultural landscape. "I would say the BBC is the most important cultural organisation in the world, and the Director-General of the BBC should be standing up, saying that, and putting his heart and soul and practical application into making sure that the BBC lived up to that proclamation. Well, they don't, and they've pitifully ignored the arts. They've cut the arts department in television, and now, they're cutting drama on in radio." In our Mysticast conversation with Ryder Lee it quickly became apparent that this man is a super researcher of truth. His dedication in sorting the 'wheat from the chaff' was breathtaking. In the Aetherius Society we are repeatedly told by Dr. King said that discrimination was essential, we had to listen and separate the truth from fantasy. A few minutes into the interview it was obvious that discernment was by far the biggest parallel to be drawn from this exploration. Debra believes that Ryder's demonstration of truth searching is a great service to would-be spiritual aspirants - as so many hear a grain of truth wrapped in fantasy and swallow the whole package, mostly because it appeals to their EGOS. The discussion explored the different terminologies of Master, Ascended Master & Cosmic Masters and how the terms have different meanings depending on the speaker. It also dipped into the muddy subject of soul fragments, Debra sharing that Dr. King had explained that mighty Black magicians, transmuted onto Level 1 (this physical plane) had their consciousnesses split into many parts in order to give the entity a chance to follow the path of oneness and service to all. This comes after, President Cyril Ramaphosa approved the release of about 9 488 inmates as part of the remission programme. However, many feel that this was a ploy to release Zuma from prison- after he handed himself over to finish his 15 months sentence for contempt. In a statement, released on Friday the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development says the release of prisoners was due to overcrowding as some of the Correctional Services facilities. Interview with Mark Selby, Chairman & CEO of Canada Nickel (TSX-V:CNC)Canada Nickel (CNC) is making significant progress in advancing the Crawford nickel sulfide project, while also capitalizing on the potential of carbon storage. The company has completed engineering work for the base project and is now focusing on incorporating a carbon storage facility into the overall process. With Canada's plan to increase carbon prices and offering tax credits, CNC aims to capture and utilize carbon, reducing future shareholder dilution. The remaining engineering tasks, including pilot plant scale work, are underway to ensure a solid design for the carbon storage facility. CNC's projects have garnered interest from multinational companies looking for carbon solutions, positioning the company as a key player in the evolving nickel market. Additionally, challenges in Indonesia's nickel industry offer favorable opportunities for Western consumers. CNC's progress and future prospects make it a standout in the nickel space.

The Social Innovation Podcast had the pleasure of speaking with Jessica Camus and Mark Blick of Diginex Solutions. Mark and I had a conversation about a year ago. Jessica also has an incredibly strong background and a deep interest in development issues. Jessica is originally from Haiti and grew up in Switzerland where she studied International Relations. She has advised International Organizations and Corporates primarily in emerging markets on Social Impact Strategies, Impact Investing, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance Issues). One of the issues that Jessica observed was that it was difficult for these institutions to scale their impact and measure it. This piqued her interest in how blockchain technology could potentially help to solve that with new and innovative solutions. While there are not only technological issues to solve, we also discussed how creating the right partnerships and encouraging collaboration across domains can also be very important. One of the ways to accomplish this is to have a common set of agreed-upon data so that all of the collaborators can be on the same page. Jessica's time at Thompson Reuters and at the World Economic Forum taught her how important public-private partnerships can be in enabling effective change. Since we last spoke, a lot has changed at Diginex Solutions. While Mark notes that he likes to focus tightly and go deep on a particular topic, Diginex has been busy expanding its offerings and rapidly developing and deploying its software. With an initial focus on forced labor and modern slavery, Diginex has now expanded to the full remit of ESG. The idea is to expand the platform to drive meaningful change.
