Es gibt viel tolle Musik und ja der Unterschied zwischen Cabaret / Satire und Comedy ? Und ja Gluschtigs ? Habe ich schon erwähnt? Viel neues aus dem Wohnzimmer von Gunti und Marie ?    WERNER ZURBRIGGEN - KUNST Dazu braucht es Mut in einer Umgebung, die dem Flachmaler mehr Verständnis entgegenbrachte als dem Kunstmaler und für letzteren vielleicht ein Mitleidiges oder verlegenes Lächeln übrig hatte.    OSWALD SUPERSAXO Fragte man mich, ob mich da droben, auf den scharfen Graten, der Schwindel nicht manchmal packe, gab ich zur Antwort :“ Schwindel pack mich hier unten, auf dem Pflaster. Mein Glück, meine Freude und ein frohes Leben geniesse ich droben auf den Bergen. .    Nun aber genau was war schon wieder mit dem Gunti? Da frage ich mich und sie ob sie auch den Unterschied so zwischen Kabarett - Comedy und Satire intus haben? Gunti im Cabaret ? Daumen drücken und ja grundsätzlich steht im Kabarett eher eine pointierte Kritik öffentlicher Ereignisse oder Personen aus Politik und Gesellschaft durch den Kabarettisten im Mittelpunkt. So weit so gut?  Nun aber was genau mit Gunti und die pointierte Kritik ? Im Stück von Ehemann sehr sehr günstig wird ja die Ehe als solches - die Form etc hinterfragt, andersartige Beziehungsformen werden ausgelotet, der Verkauf einer Person hinterfragt und ja es grenzt an Menschenhandel? Die Verkaufsformen wie Leasing, Kredit, Tausch u.v.m welches man ja aus aus dem Autohandel kennt kritisiert aber auch die neue Art Menschen via Online Dating getestet.  Während dem bei Comedy und Stand up Comedy doch eher die komische Schilderung von Konflikten mit den eigenen Umwelt im Vordergrund steht und nein an Ehemann sehr sehr günstig abzugeben ist an nichts komisches zu denken, nein da wird wirklich die pointierte Kritik am System angefochten, durchleuchtet.  Der Unterschied zwischen Comedy und Satire ? Andere als die Komödie hat Satire nicht das befreiende Lachen als Ziel, sondern die Einsicht des Publikums in die Fehler der Lächerlichkeiten des System damit ist ihr etwas thesenhaftes - didaktisches einverleibt oder so. So weit so gut ?   Ehemann sehr sehr günstig ist aus meiner Sicht ein statistisches Kabarett mit vielleicht doch einem Hauch Comedy und etwas Musik ?    Wer Gunti und Marie Häfliger noch nicht kennt - hier vielleicht mal wieder eine passende Zusammenfassung und etwas Neues ?  Ehemann sehr günstig abzugeben. Marie, die beste Ehefrau von allen, versucht mit ihren Freundinnen per Inserat ihren Ehemann günstig loszuwerden. Gunti, wie sie ihn nennt, wehrt sich energisch und behauptet, das erinnere an Menschenhandel und sei laut EU-Konventionen verboten. Er sieht düstere Zeiten voraus: Zuerst wird man günstig angeboten, dann auf Kredit, Leasing oder im Tausch. Am Ende landet man im Monatsabo, wird stundenweise vermietet und schließlich, aus Desinteresse, gratis abgegeben! Ein Kabarett, das mit scharfem Humor die Ehe, Menschenhandel und die kreativen Möglichkeiten moderner „Finanzierung“ aufs Korn nimmt. Und das alles am Küchentisch - war wär so feini Meltini hä zue gno, u diskutiert hei u. Gstrittut u der Versöhnungssex danach, ja äu uf dischum Tisch und nun so kurz vor der Perlenhochzeit will sie den Gunti einfach so weg und Furt ? Wäre es nicht einfacher sich zu scheiden? Ja eine Bindung hält und hält, bis man auf die Schnauze fällt. Die Pointe zum Schluss : z`Gunti so zum Publikum - zu den Frauen - aber losät losät losät : vielleicht isch ja grad jemand hie wa a mier interessiert isch ? Ich meine das muess ja z`Marie jetzt nid grad direkt mit vercho ?  U letschin an so einem Sonntag reiste Marie - die beste Ehefrau von allen mit dem Apotheker Jochen von der Taube ab. Abgereist auf der neuen Harley von Jochen. Gunti hat ja höchstes seinen E-Scooter und wir erinnern uns das Gunti nebenbei ja der Erfinder des W-Lan Duschkopfes und des W-Lan föhn ist? Aktivist bei der Verzettelungsagentur. CEO des Institutes für Schneeflockeninventar. Gründer der Dienststelle für sorgenfreien Geschlechtsverkehr sowie Direktor der Institutes für mehr Spontaküsserei.  Gunti ist ein ganz GROSSER, ein Mulitalent und was er anpackt ! Aber als Marie ging, lies sie das Inserat auf dem Küchentisch liegen, dies um woll bewusst oder unbewusst dem Gunti zu zeigen, dass Ihre gemeinsamten Tage wohl getagut hängt? Was fär nä Chelpfa das Trudi u i chenti schi chlepfu. U die Doctoressa Hugentobler u nein sie welche gerade das ganze Männervolk ausrotten möchte ! Aber da fliesst nu vil Wasser där Rottu embriii bevor sich äbu die Mannlini lehnt la üsrottu…..!  Nun cruzen die Marie und Jochen durch den Sonntag und Gunti parshipt so vor sich hin. Mal schauen was er denn auf dem Markt noch taugt und gleicht beisst auch die Bettina an ! Auch Mel.B ist Online und was sie wohl fär einä suecht ? Den ganzen schönen lieben Sonntag chatten Bettina und Gunti von Bett zu Bett. Der Chat wird immer heisser und für alle die so bisschen auf Prüde und noch nicht 18 bitte gleich ausklinken den jetzt wird's grüüsig ?  Sie welche auch schon mal so angeregt und ja der Altweibersommer und die letzten Sonnenstrahlen auf der nackten Haut und tun sie doch nicht so!!  Ein bisschen mehr Hemmungslosigkeit würde ihnen gut stehen und noch mehr gut tun. Gunti welcher sich ja immer mal wieder Gedanken macht so ja Sucht und so und ein Glas Wein am Bettrand, das Glücksrad dreht vor sich hin und es wird immer etwas giigeriger ? Verliebt ? Nein wir sind ja jetzt zusammen, verliebt ist man vorher und nein verliebt in Bettina ? Diese Schmetterlinge oder eben der Hormonhaushalt?  Haben deine Puttinis einen Namen ? Was um Gottes Willen sind  Puttinisfragt Bettina……: Brüste, Melonen, Glocken, Möpse ? Findest Du nicht auch das Puttini unheimlich erregend schön tönt?  Puttipongini ? Sind sie schon erhärtet ? Pongini das sind die Brustwarzen und weil ja Warzen so gar nicht schön tönt und das hatten wir doch schon? Mamilla heissen sie auf  Latein. Die Erektion der Brustwarze = Thelotismus ! Nippel ! Unschön !  Nun möchte Bettina, dass Gunti ihr ein Foto von seinem wie er ihn nennt : best looking friend schickt, und er dachte immer, Fotos von Pimmels sind unschön und Frauen fänden das gar nicht geil? Aber Bettina meint : du solltest deinen Penis umtaufen: und wie bitteschön ? Ach und ob Gunti ihr das Foto vom Pimmel geschickt hat? Dafür wollte er 50 CHF via Twint.  Twint - Twitter - Titten und Tintenflecken. Nun wie soll ich den deines Erachtens meinen best looking friend taufen? Helmut ! Helmut? Ja dein Pimmel gleicht Helmut Kohl. Bitte nicht so respektlos? Gegenüber deinem Pimmel? Nein immerhin war Kohl deutscher Ministerpräsident. Ja aber dein Glied gleicht ihm halt, klein, dick, ohne Hals und die Frisur deiner Schamhaare ?  Schickst Du mir aber nun ein Bild von ding fittlbluttu Puttini ? Dafür wollte Bettina nun 50 CHF via Twint und bevor Gunti ein neues Businessmodell erahnen konnte war sein Einkommen auch wieder adieu tschau, bye bye bamibina du musst nicht weinen, es wird bald wieder die Sonne scheinen…..! Also bye bye Bambina - so nennt Gunti seine 50er Noten !! Eigentlich wollte Gunti ja an seinen Hits weiter arbeiten, an diesem Sonntag  : A Chu kiit vam Himmel, kupferrote Haare kann sie haben, aber schön muss sie sein, schön muss sie sein…. Tschipolatta Weisse Tschaagen kann sie ….. rote lackierte Zewennägel kann ..  Gerade trifft eine Nachricht von Marie ein. Den ganzen lieben schönen Sonntag lang opferte Gunti keinen einzigen Gedanken an die doch beste Ehefrau von allen und nun diese Nachricht. Sie könne heute leider nicht nach Hause kommen, da die Harley einen defekt hat und sie in einem Rustico im Centovalli übernachten muss.  So chattet unser Gunti noch etwas mit Bettina vo sich hin und er meinte noch : haben deine Puttini nun einen Namen oder nicht? Nein die seien noch ungetauft und so übernimmt Gunti die Taufe mit dem heiligen Weihwasser der katholischen Kirche gleich online ! Im Namen des Vaters - des Sohne und des heiligen Geistes taufe ich euch nun Riesling und Sylvaner !  Fertig.

Don Chigazola on CWC, Dec. 2021. Don Chigazola is back on California Wine Country today, with a selection of white wines from the Alto Adige region of Italy. He joins Harry Duke and Dan Berger in the studio. Steve Jaxon is away today. These three wines come from the Alto Adige region of Italy. It's in the northeast, bordering on Austria and Switzerland. It has unique terroir and a cold climate with steep mountainside vineyards. Chigazola Merchants Don's company, Chigazola Merchants, imports wines from small family-owned producers from different regions of Italy. He met this producer at an annual wine convention called VinItaly. He also travels the back roads of the Italian provinces and locates fine local producers which would otherwise be impossible to find, for his customers in the US. They will be in Italy next month for this year's VinItaly and to visit wineries. Don has been on CWC several times before, showing different wines that he has found on his travels throughout Italy. The last time was this episode of June 22, 2022, where he brought white wines from Piemonte (the western part of northern Italy). The Alto Adige is a cool mountainous region with a large German-speaking population. Most families there speak German and Italian. These wines all have German varietal names. Don has brought three white wines, Kerner, Riesling and Sylvaner, each from the Taschlerhof winery. The first tasting is the 2021 Riesling, which is very dry and would pair well with a wide variety of foods. Dan Berger suggests rich ripe cheeses. It has a wild floral character with its dry aftertaste. Riesling has many different personalities depending on where it is made. It changes as it ages and can take eight years in the cellar. Alto Adige Terroir The Alto Adige soil is called schist, comprised of compressed layers of pebbles and stones. It is quite thick and the roots have to run deep for the vines to find water and nourishment. They are at a high altitude, 1500-2100 feet of altitude. Dan Berger mentions that over 1800 feet, the climate gets colder. They get about 300 days a year of direct sunlight. They have very warm days and very cold nights. The diurnal temperature swings can be 50-55 degrees F per day. The next wine is a Sylvaner which is rarely found in the US. It has a steely, stony component but also floral and dry spice flavors. It is even drier, and more subtle, than the Riesling and might go well with a mild white fish. Growers are more willing to plant other varietals since Sylvaner isn't very lucrative, interesting as it is. Finally they taste the Kerner, which is rare outside of Alto Adige but is well known there. It is the heaviest and most aromatic of these three wines. It has some richness in the mid-palette from the tannins. Don enjoys having discovered so many great white wines in Italy. There are over 100 Italian white varietals. The world is not just Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc!

Druene kommer fra den terrasserte vinmarken Gambacher Kalbenstein ved elven Main. Mosten spontanfermenteres og modnes på brukte eikefat på 300 og 500 liter med bunnfallet over 24 måneder. Vinen er ufiltrert og minimalt svovlet (under 10mg/l).

François Ménard est le co-propriétaire du Domaine Ménard-Gaborit. C’est au cœur du Muscadet près de Nantes, dans l’appellation Sèvre et Maine que le domaine est implanté depuis 1734. Une passion pour le vin qui se transmet de générations en générations. Issu d’une famille de vignerons, François a toujours baigné dans le milieu. Pourtant, ce dernier n’avait pas toujours la volonté d’être vigneron ! Après des études de commerce et plusieurs expériences à l’étranger, François s’est spécialisé en viticulture et en œnologie et a fini par rejoindre le domaine familial en 2019. Il découvre la biodynamie pendant un stage au Château de Pommard, une agriculture qui se rapproche de la culture biologique mais qui va plus loin en utilisant notamment des préparations à base de plantes et des rituels liés à la lune. Son envie d’utiliser de nouvelles techniques, aussi bien à la vigne qu’à la cave, a motivé la création d’une nouvelle gamme.  Pierre Dietrich est co-propriétaire du Domaine Achillée. Tout commence en 1990, lorsque Yves, son père, reprend l’exploitation de sa famille et exploite ainsi 4,5 hectares de vignes. Les années suivantes, Yves convertit l’exploitation à l’agriculture biologique et l’agriculture biodynamique sur 18 hectares. C’est en 2016 qu’il fonde avec ses deux fils, Pierre et Jean, un chai bioclimatique, c’est-à-dire n’utilisant aucun mode de chauffage, en association avec le domaine Jean-Paul Schmitt à Scherwiller. Achillée est né ! Le domaine nous invite à un formidable voyage à travers les cépages alsaciens : Riesling, Sylvaner, Muscat, et d’autres encore…  Dans un bâtiment de 2 200 m2, le plus grand d’Europe en bois et en paille, l’élevage se fait en cuves inox. Ici, pas de levurage et le moins de sulfitage possible. Résultat : un vin blanc naturel de longue garde (de dix à quinze ans), léger et fruité.

Once it was believed Müller-Thurgau to be the result of a crossing of Riesling with Sylvaner, recent studies have found out it is a crossing of Riesling with Madeleine Royale. Created at the end of nineteenth century by professor Hermann Müller, this variety is still today common in Germany and Italy.

When I saw the post introducing Wine Blogging Wednesday #10 over at My Adventures in the Breadbox, I thought to myself it was about time we went back to the white side of the wine world after several forays into the red (or rose) zone. But “white pinot”? What’s that all about? It seems that our old red friend, the Pinot Noir, has mutated over the millennia and has produced another related white varietal most commonly known as Pinot Gris. Yes, yes, I know that “gris” translates to “grey” but the juice is quite white even with extended skin contact. The problem with this variety is that is goes by so many names depending upon where it is grown that it is hard to know what you are drinking without a scorecard. A Google search turned up the following synonyms: * Pinot Grigio (Italy) * Pinot Beurot (Loire Valley, France) * Ruländer (Austria and Germany, Romania, sweet) * Grauburgunder or Grauer burgunder (Austria and Germany, dry) * Grauklevner (Germany) * Malvoisie (Loire Valley, France and Switzerland) * Tokay d’Alsace (Alsace) (currently being renamed due to EU regulations) * Auxerrois Gris (Alsace) * Fromentau (Languedoc, France) * Fromentot (France) * Fauvet (France) * Gris Cordelier (France) * Grauer Mönch (Germany) * Monemrasia * Crvena Klevanjka (Croatia) * Szürkebarát (Hungary) Yikes, that’s quite a list! Another interesting point is that the style varies depending upon the region. This can range from the light and lean Pinot Grigio’s from Italy to the more substantial full fruit Oregon style to the classic floral and silky Alsatian wines. For this event, started with a wine I spied on the by-the-glass selection of the local eatery where I just finished dinner. It was a 2003 Pinot Grigio from Stella of the Umbria region in Italy. I found this wine to be almost clear in color with the slightest hit of straw and a lean fruity nose typical of the varietal. On the palette it had nice citrus and apple flavors, good acidity and a dry, slightly minerally finish. A very good start to this evening’s festivities earning an 8.5/10 on my scale. A quick Google later I found this to be a fine value at only $6 a bottle. Next, I decided to pull a Pinot Grigio from California out of the cellar that a friend gave me last summer. It is from La Famiglia di Robert Mondavi of the 2002 vintage that retails for $15. This is another label from the prolific Mondavi family that was started in 1994 to, “celebrate their Italian heritage from California vineyards”; as usual, brilliant marketing The winemaker’s notes reveal that this wine is a blend of 98% Pinot Grigio and 2% Tocai Friulano, the top native grape from Italy’s Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. He also points out the fruit came from Monterey County (87%), the Los Carneros (7%), and 3% each from El Dorado and Santa Maria Valley. Thankfully, the wine did not see any oak and was not subjected to the rigors of malolactic fermentation, so I expected it to be full in fruit flavors with a nice dose of acidity making this a good match for shellfish (oysters, anyone?!). This wine was also shy on the color with a bit of the old yellow/green, but had a much more powerful citrus nose than the previous Grigio. Nice lemon and pear flavors and bracing acidity finish bone dry. A solid 8.5/10. Pinot Blanc is a mutation of Pinot Gris that used to be widely planted in Burgundy. This was until the Appellation Controlee laws knocked out Pinot Blanc in favor of Chardonnay. The grape is most identified in France today with the Alsace region where it is the number 3 grape behind Riesling and Sylvaner. Pinot Blanc also has some identity issues, but they seem to be isolated to California where much of what is labeled Pinot Blanc is actually Melon de Bourgogne, also called Muscadet in France’s Loire region. Like Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc is quite malleable to the hand of the winemaker, taking oak well so wines can be light and fruity to big and oaky. As with Chardonnay, I prefer my Pinot Blanc unoaked, so I chose a bottling from the reliable Trimbach of Alsace. It is their 2001 Pinot Blanc that is blended with a bit of Pinot Auxerrois and sells for about $15 a bottle. This wine is straw in color with a hint of green, has a lean citrus nose and with apple and nut flavors. Another bone dry wine with high acidity, it would be a natural with food. I found this wine to be delicious and earn a 9/10. So what was learned in this tale of Two Pinots? That they are surprisingly similar in flavor and great food wines. I think I like the more elegant style of the Pinot Blanc, but as can be seen from my tasting notes, it was a close race. The best of tasting goes to the Trimbach Pinot Blanc 2001 with best value to the Stella Pinot Grigio 2003.
