David M Frees is from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania and in this episode, he will discuss FORCE MULTIPLIERS, a technique, when used correctly, will make podiatrists more powerful, better communicators and far more influential with their patients.   Dave Frees has been referred to as the Grandmaster of persuasion and influence by Steve Forbes, Editor-In-Chief of Forbes Magazine and Forbes Media. He's a sought after speaker on leadership, sales and marketing, and has had a close working relationship with podiatrists for many years.  Dave is a civilian; however, he has worked closely with the military and armed forces in the United States. He has taken what he has learnt from top negotiators, interrogators and special forces operators to devise a unique method for day-to-day business operations.    Topics discussed: Meta-Force Multipliers, Strategic Force Multipliers and Tactical Force Multipliers. Stories work when you imbed them within the content you are delivering to your patients.  Meta-Level Ways we can be a more powerful version of who we are. How can we think better Strategic-Level Ideas that guide us in the right direction. Developing systems for all our tactics makes them easier and easier to do. Developing a system for marketing - take the ideas in your head (strategy) to make them a reality (the tactic) Training is a strategic force multiplier. Building a system around training. Record the training Use it online Sell to other podiatrists Using rules and models (OODA LOOP) Get clarity around your purpose, values and mission, and knowing the exact patient you want is strategic.  When you know where your ideal patient is, you'll know where to do your marketing. Use this information to decide on the tactic, such as email.  Alignment: What we're about to do, is it in alignment with our purpose, values and mission and is it going to be loved and will it help support our ideal patients Tactical-Level Doing a particular type of marketing to get a specific type of patient. It is used to get the right kind of patients. Did it work? Yes, then do more of it. This forms part of your strategy. Meta Level is Mental Level (Mindset) Learning how to stay strong and recover from damage or a downturn in performance is meta-level thinking.  With a good mindset, you become way less bothered by problems.  Difference Between Persuasion & Influence is INTENT All human communication is manipulative in one way or another. When you tell a joke, you're trying to manipulate the person into laughing.  When you teach, you're trying to help someone become a more informed person. When you yell, you may be trying to intimidate. Some people say this is manipulation, but it depends on your intent. Helping someone is not manipulative.  Build Trust & Influence  Telling the patient the truth builds trust. If an orthotic is not going to help their problem, be truthful.  Be aware that patients may be imprecise with their speech, so circle-back with what they said to get more clarity.  When you repeatedly give the patient the result they are after, you will become influential, and this is where you want to be. Being influential is not being manipulative.  Also, when a patient trusts you, you can make a mistake, and they will forgive you.  Deeper Communication When a patient tells you their concern/problem, ask them, "WHAT ELSE?" They will dig deeper and give you more information.  Then say, "AND", and the patient will happily give you more information than you would have initially gotten from them.  You could also ask: "I'm curious, is there any other reason that you came here today or are there any other outcomes you would like out of this visit today?" or "How would your life be better if…." This communication tool is at the tactical level, and it may not work every time, but don't give up easily.  Remind yourself that it didn't work this time; with this patient on this particular issue, it doesn't mean it doesn't work.  Stimulus & Response There is usually a stimulus when you get angry, but there will be a small GAP between the stimulus and the response. It would be best if you learned how to put space between the stimulus and the response.  A cool little trick is to name that emotion when it occurs and recognise it.  "Ohh, that's anger that I'm feeling".  Take a deep breath, cultivate the gap and interrupt the response.   Interrupting the Gap Confusion often leads to frustration, then anger; however, confusion means you are about to make a breakthrough in your learning.  So instead of getting frustrated and angry, change the mental narrative to anticipation. Confusion leads to anticipation of new learnings, and this is a better mindset to get the learning you want.  Optimise What's Working  Optimise what's working and stop what's not working. It sounds simple, but it's hard for some podiatrists to do.  Constantly explore what's working in your business and spend some time hypothesising why it works and can you make it better.  Minor tweaks can make a massive difference in the outcome.  If you want to learn more from Dave or about his Business Black Ops event, held in Arizona each October, you can email his assistant Lisa at Lsnyder@utbf.com. Now is a time to acknowledge the situation we’re in, and develop a realistic mindset to get through it. It’s a time to start thinking differently, and not fall back to our same old ways. Pennsylvania attorney Dave Frees says the people who are paying attention to all the changes will adapt and go further than those who stick to their routines. Dave and Tom discussed that currently, marketing is about personal connections—not business connections. Dave suggests “placing small bets” and figuring out what people want and need, instead of shifting all of your attention to one thing. Are you still communicating with your clients, or have you stopped doing business? Find out Dave’s tips for showing genuine concern for your list.

If you want to grow your small business fast the best way to do it is to clearly identify your client avatar (your ideal client) as soon as possible, and then develop your USP - Unique Selling Proposition based on that avatar.  My guest today, Alex Frees is a Marketing Strategist. He is a frequent speaker and consultant in the areas of marketing, sales, business automation, and client/customer selection, cultivation, retention, and referral, and he is currently the Director of Marketing at Credit Suite which was recently ranked on the Inc 5000 list. What is a Marketing Strategist? A marketing strategist develops strategies and processes to enhance the marketing of a business. Marketing is a driver of revenue; it's not an expense.  The Client Avatar Many companies think they need to market and sell to everybody, but this is a mistake.  It's similar to niching down your business, except you are niching down who you are selling and marketing to. It seems like a daunting task when you're first starting, but it is very worthwhile in the long run.  When you find the right avatar, it lowers your marketing costs and increases retention.   Marketing to the Wrong Avatar When you sell to someone, who is not your ideal client, it costs you more in the backend with unhappy staff, increased complaints and problems, and can waste your time.  You need to create an Anti-Avatar, find out where they hang out and make an effort not to go there.   Never Too Late It's never too late to start evaluating who buys the most, working out where your profits are coming from and making decisions on what is not working.  You should review your marketing and avatar every six months to make sure you're on track or if you need to make changes. Knowing your avatar lets you know if you should be concentrating on old-school marketing or digital marketing.  Digital Advertising You have to play around with digital advertising to see what works. Just doing something once is not good enough. Poor results could be the result of poor copy, the wrong image, or poor targeting because you didn't know your avatar.  USP - Unique Selling Proposition Your USP quickly tells your customers why they should buy from you and not your competitors, by answering these three questions:   What do you do well that your competitor doesn't? What does the consumer want? What problems are you solving?  If you take a look at the Venn Diagram (Ep 188), money is made in the safe spot, not that you can't make money in the other areas, but you'll need to spend more and invest more time.  Your USP is not just used in your marketing; it becomes part of the culture of your business.  Final Tip Don't be afraid to test. It's always better to test and fail and learn from that failure than do nothing.  Business Black Ops On this episode, Alex and I mention meeting at Business Black Ops which is a mastermind group I have been part of for the past five years, run by Dave Frees. It's No Secret with Dr T.

Play Episode Listen Later Dec 27, 2018 9:58

In December it's quite common to start looking ahead to next year and not reflect on the year that was. There is a lot to learn and to take away if you stop and reflect.  I'd love to say this was my idea, but it wasn't. Last week I tuned into a webinar with Deb Johnstone, and it was about reflecting on the year that was, and there were three key points.  Deb Johnstone was my guest It’s No Secret with Dr T., and the episode was called Mastering Your Mindset.  Focus On The Positive Firstly – People have a habit of focusing on the negative, what they didn’t achieve throughout the year, instead of the positive things they have done. Deb asked us to consciously go through the year, month by month, and look at the highlights, and when I did this I was amazed, and I had forgotten many of my accomplishments, not all huge, but still significant. Columnist of Tropic Magazine 14 consistent monthly coaching clients New website I ran a successful event in August with Dave Frees in Cairns I got to speak in Powell River, Canada and Arizona, in the USA Started a new Podcast called Podiatry Legends, to be released in January 2019.  What I Missed Is Not Important  I had set a goal to be a guest on 50 podcasts but only managed to speak on 34, which is still pretty good.  Also, I didn’t get Richard Branson on It's No Secret with Dr T. but in hindsight I know I could have pushed harder. However, I now have a choice. Focus on the negative or focus on the positive.  2018 Week One Episode  This webinar reminded me of my first episode in 2018, which was title Was Week One A Hit Or A Miss? On this podcast, I was talking about how much did you achieve and get done in your first week back at work? Was it a productive week, or was it a complete disaster, or was it somewhere in between? Create A Personal Scorecard I was also talking about not focusing on what you didn’t do, and instead, give yourself a rating out of ten, then keep track of your score each week and why you gave yourself this score.  What reoccurring obstacles keep getting in your way and can you do something to prevent them from happening again? To change the output of your life, you need to change the input. So if you’re not getting out of life what you want, you need to make a conscious effort to change the input. Free Lessons & Gifts - Some Hurt Every challenge leaves us with a lesson or a gift. Sometimes it’s hard to see what the lesson or gift is in the moment, but it’s there somewhere. For example, you may have had a challenge at work with a team member, a family challenge, or it could have been a health or weight challenge. Regardless of what it was, look for the lessons and gifts. Sometimes there may only be lessons, but every lesson is still a gift.  Key Changes For 2019 Think about what fundamental changes you need to make in your life right now to get the most out of 2019.  I discovered the following:  I had to be more aware of my daily habits, and especially how I start and finish each day. How I begin and end a day has a massive impact on my mindset, enthusiasm and how much you get done each day. My wife Christine recently pointed out that I was looking at my phone a lot before going to bed and also again when I work up, and I have to be honest, she was right. Conscious Effort To Change  So I’ve made a conscious effort to stop these bad habits, and after a few short weeks, it has already made a massive difference in how I am performing.  I also need to be more aware of the obstacles I know are present in my life, and don’t let them, or use them as an excuse for not doing what I said I was going to do. If you’re going to go to the gym at 7 am, then get up and go. Don’t put it off and say you’ll do it in the afternoon when you know by the end of the day you’re going to be tired and won’t feel like it. Be patient, and Happy To Be a Novice – Get comfortable with it. - MOG We All Must Have Gratitude The third thing Deb discussed was to be grateful for the year as a whole. There would be a lot of people that would love to have the year you had, so be grateful you got to have it. Gratitude is the closest state to love. When you look at all three points:  Achievement and highlights Lessons and gifts Be grateful for the year as a whole It does put 2018, and every other year prior, into PERSPECTIVE.  I hope you’ve had a great 2018 if you have any questions, please send me an email tf@tysonfranklin.com, or if you want more information on mindset coaching and personal development training I suggest you get in touch with Deb Johnstone at success@debjohnstone.com.au FREE DOWNLOAD & Book Orders: First 16 Pages of My Book – It’s No Secret There’s Money in Small Business. If you’ve been tuning in over the past couple of weeks, you’d be aware that I’ve recorded the last two podcasts in Vancouver and Powell River. This week I travelled from Canada to the United States to attend one of my favourite events of the year, Business Black Ops in Arizona, organised by Dave Frees.   You may recall the name Dave Frees as he’s been a guest on my podcast twice already, Episode #2: Communication, Persuasion & Influence and a Bonus Episode Force Multipliers. This year's Business Black Ops them was Awareness and Alignment. On the second day, we did a field trip to Top Golf in Scottsdale. Now if you’ve never heard of Top Golf, I’d like to point out that it’s more than just a driving range. Top Golf, as described on their website, is a global sports entertainment company, and I have to agree it’s a pretty amazing place. Our Mission  Our mission was to identify as many strategic and tactical marketing ideas as we could in an hour and a half. Now it’s impossible to try and explain everything we observed, but I can share are ten things that really stood out to me as a small business owner. Top 10 Lessons  When you're aware you see more: I visited Topgolf in July this year, and even though I thought it was a fantastic place back then, I never stopped and considered all the subtle marketing that was taking place right under my nose. But, as soon as my reticular activating system was kicked into gear and I was told to look for marketing strategies and tactics, it was a completely different experience. As soon as you arrive you are greeted with signage about coaching lessons for adults and juniors, and on each level, they promoted College Night for students. So immediately you know this venue caters for all ages. Never assume your clients and customers know about all the services and products you offer: The signage at the front also mentioned group lessons and corporate events. Of course, we were there for a corporate event, but not everyone that visits is, so sometimes it’s important to point out the obvious. Apparently, a simple message repeated numerous times is a good idea: In their entry, or as they called it Guest Services, there was merchandise for sale, billboards promoting food items (burgers, ribs and beers) and how much it was to play at Topgolf, and this information was on multiple walls so it could not be missed.  Memberships are powerful: They also had membership options so you could become part of the Top Golf family. If you’ve ever been part of a club or association, you’ll appreciate that memberships, when done well, can be a powerful thing. Up-selling is a key ingredient: Each bay only cost $25 - $50 per hour for up to 6 people to play in the same bay, depending on the time of the day, which is cheap, but apparently they don’t make their money from offering cheap bays, it’s all the add-ons and up-sells, that’s where the real money is. Well trained team members: Every team member that knew their roles, right from the guest services to the people taking the food and drink orders. So training their team members must be a high priority. They openly shared their core values: They also displayed their five core values in plain sight on large billboards. (fun, one team, excellence, edgy spirit, and caring). These core value billboards were clearly displayed throughout the complex, which is beneficial for both the customer and their team. Branding is important: No matter where you looked the Topgolf logo could be seen. Even when you reached for the sauce, Topgolf was on the tray, and if you happened to visit the bathroom, they got you there as well. Marketing and brand alignment: At no stage did any of their marketing look cluttered or feel tacky or out of lace. Every inch of Topgolf has been well thought out, and it goes to prove you can market what you do extensively throughout your business and still look professional, as long as it aligns with your brand. At no time did I see a laminated sign or sheet of white paper stuck to a wall with adhesive tape. Increasing Your Awareness This article is not about promoting Topgolf; it’s about expanding your awareness towards your own business, the people you work with, your customer and client needs and also the businesses around you. The next time you walk into a business that you know is ‘crushing it’, don’t just walk in and take what they are doing for granted, instead kick your reticular activating system into gear and start observing why they are doing well. What can you learn and can you use this information in your own business?  But don’t stop there, be aware of the business that are doing things poorly and makes sure you’re not doing this yourself. Use Your Smartphone It’s easy to become complacent, so here’s a strategy you may find helpful. Grab your Smartphone and add an alarm that says ‘Be Aware’ and you could schedule it to go off multiple times per day. Every time it goes off, stop and become aware of what is going on around you, you may be surprised by what you see. If you have any questions about this article, please send me an email at tf@tysonfranklin.com or you can listen to my podcast episode Top Golf Marketing Awareness Challenge. BONUS EPISODE: Recorded at Podcast Movement 2018 in Philadelphia at the TalkShoe podcast booth.  Today I am joined by Dave Frees, and we discuss Force Multipliers, which is a refers to a factor or a combination of factors that dramatically increases (hence "multiplies") the effectiveness of an item or group. In the military, force multipliers give troops the ability to do far more and to be more effective against an enemy than without it; however, the same principles apply to business.  For example, a business with no CRM program will not be as effective as a business with a good CRM program, but to take it one step further, a good CRM program combined with good training will make it even more effective.  Dave Frees explains this concept in far more detail and gives many examples throughout this episode.  If you enjoyed this episode you'll also enjoy Episode #2: Communication, Persuasion & Influence with Dave Frees.   Dave Frees MASTER CLASS - CAIRNS  On the 17th of August 2018, Dave M. For the past three years, and this year will be my fourth, I’ve attended a 3-Day event in Tempe, Arizona, run by Success Technologies and Dave Frees. Each year the event alternates its theme. One year it will be 3-Days To Success and the other year Business Black Ops, both fantastic events. Last year, or it could have been the year before someone commented on how new employees or new members joining your team, where a pain in the butt and as soon as they arrive they want to start changing our systems. You’ll have systems in place that have worked exceptionally well for years, but from day one they come to you with ideas and suggestions on how they can be improved.  Initiative Is Good Now don’t get me wrong, I love the initiative and also like knowing the employee cares enough about my business to think about how things can be improved…However, it can be frustrating when it happens every single day. Anyway, Dave Frees shared how he handles this in his law firm, which I think is absolute gold and why I thought it was important to share in this weeks episode of Five Minute Friday. Employment Contract In Dave’s employment contract it says that the new team member agrees that they will not change a system, nor will they present any new ideas to him, or any of his senior management, on how things can be changed or improved until they have been working at his firm for a full 6-months. So if they have any ideas in the meantime, they need to write them down and keep it to themselves until 6-months is up. After 6-months they can let rip, but what Dave found is the vast majority of the time the new team member has nothing to share and no suggestions on how the already well-run systems can be improved. This 6-month ‘grace-period’ has almost eliminated this problem. But why does this work? What happens initially is the new employee sees a system or process and only really sees it at surface value. Almost like looking at an iceberg. What they don’t understand is how this one particular system integrates with other systems within the business. The longer they worked at his law firm and the more experience they obtained, they more often they witnessed how systems that once seemed odd or even out-dated made sense in the big scheme of things and the efficient running of his law practice. It Works  I took this idea and used it in my own business a few times, and it worked just as Dave described. When I asked for suggestions after the 6-month period, two things happened. The employee was silence, or they presented me with some good ideas, which had been well thought out over time, instead of spare of the moment thoughts which had not been thought through properly. Having a good idea presented to you the right way is what you want from your team. If you have a lot of new employees joining your team, it’s even more important to have a No Change Policy for 6-Months in place, because as I discussed last week, small system changes, made by multiple people over an extended period can be damaging to your business. Danger Of Inexperience And if a new team member is being trained by someone who hasn’t got that much more experience, then it’s easy for them to agree that a current system needs changing, but if there’s a No Change Policy for 6-Months in place this can be prevented. Another benefit for the business owner for having a No Change Policy for 6-months is it allows the business owner to take time off, and while he or she is away they know nothing will change because this was the agreement. Today we look back over the last few years of the show and select some of the best tools, techniques, strategies and tactics for getting more out of your business, professional and personal life in the areas of profit, marketing, fitness, health, communications and negotiating skills, goal setting, systems, and more. Some principles and techniques apply across business and life.  Since it’s New Year’s Eve let’s start with goal setting and systems. Goals vs. Resolutions and Goals vs. Systems Goals and Goal Setting: Better Ways of Creating goals – Common: I want X result Better: I want X result by Y date Better Yet: I will do the following to achieve X (Measurable result) by Y Date Superior: What systems and actions can I create/do to achieve X [measurable goal or more/better] by Y [specific time frame OR SOONER] Systems vs. Goals Frameworks for organizing/optimizing Information You Use Meta Level Principles – These are built upon natural laws.  They are the most important drivers of your thinking and behaviors and remain true in most cases, and across time and experience.  You may get better at understanding and articulating them but they rarely change. Example:  Building discipline and the idea that discipline is the source of freedom is a meta principle that makes business and life better. Another example would be optimism.  Hiring for optimism and developing it in yourself are both scientifically proven to be beneficial and Strategies – These are high level thinking and can be applied consistently for better results.  However, they strategies you use may work better I some circumstances than others Example: Do more of what works and try to eliminate what has been repeatedly proven to fail.  In business this assumes for example that you’re watching data and that you notice who your best customers really are and what problems they have that you can solve.  The you stop spending on advertising and marketing to others who consistently fail to buy. Example: Using software and automation in your business systems is strategic.  Choosing which systems to automate is a strategy.  The particular software you use is a tactic and how you use it is also tactical.  So that brings us to… Tactics – These are the hacks, tricks, and individual tools that can be guided by meta principles and strategies. They need to be monitored and evaluated constantly.  They often need to be varied to respond to changes in the environment/workplace/market Meta Level Secrets: Frameworks – For stories, ads, marketing, blogs, etc. Algorithms- Yeah or Hell No” Derek Sievers Resources: Extreme Ownership by Jocko Wilink http://amzn.to/2lE30oP The Language of Parenting by Dave Frees http://amzn.to/2iJQZeg   Silent Power by Stuart Wilde http://amzn.to/2zM9WTL

If you're also interested on more related thoughts and ideas about destroying your own outdated systems and ideas and creating new, better and more effective results try Ray Dalio’s  new book Principles. http://amzn.to/2iK6mqx In today’s show we examine some central themes, resources and quotes that have given Warren Buffet’s partner his wealth and power and have clearly delivered a long and happy life: 1) Charlie Munger was a generalist and highly informed by the ideas of evolution and philosophy. See Pat Flynn on generalism vs. specialization Chronicles of Strength Facebook group. How does this help and apply to us? 2) Charlie Munger was a fan of becoming friends with the “eminent dead” and in particular how much you can learn from them,  As such, he was a giant fan of biography and autobiography and learned much from Benjamin Franklin. Franklin published Poor Richard’s Alamanack from 1733 to 1758. How does this help/apply to us? Who can you identify someone from the distant or recent past who was thoughtful and successful and how do you learn from them? Additional Munger concepts and quotes that you can use from just the first few pages: 3) “…Do Work that provides for more value to others.” How is this helpful/apply to us? What happens when you focus on bringing more value to others?  Can you increase margins and entity value? 4) Munger has an amazing Willingness to Change his mind and a willingness and eagerness to acknowledge and learn from his own mistakes.   “Warren and I are very good at destroying our own best loved ideas.” Dave Frees refers to this in evolution as “killing the babies.”  Dave notes that all species over reproduce offspring so that whatever happens in the environment (constant change) there will be some better adapted to survive.  But in business we develop products, services, marketing etc. that we love and spend money and resources to keep alive but are not designed to survive in the current environment. He also notes that he and Warren look at old ideas as less functional tools and he asks why, if you could have a better, newer tool would you not reject the old tool? Cites John Kenneth Galbraith: “Faced with the choice between changing one's mind and proving there is no need to do so, almost everyone gets busy on the proof.” So how do you do that AND what happens when you do? 5) Munger has constant praise for old age and the idea that one should make growth and self- improvement a goal until death and cites Franklin “when you’re finished changing you’re finished.” So how does this apply to or help us? 6) Biologist Julian Huxley “Life is just one damn relatedness after another,” Munger believe you must have the models to see the relatedness of many/all things and the effects from that relatedness. Munger:  You need a system of multiple mental models.  Pat Flynn again on multidiscipline vs specialization and Dave and Somnath on multidisciplinary education and hiring in today’s environment of increasing rates of change. “Simplicity is the end result of long, hard work, not the starting point.”   Frederick Maitland 7) “The lollapalooza effect” Munger suggests having numerous mental models and notes that when multiple models are combined you get the lollapalooza effect that is when to use three or four for his forces are all operating in the same direction you get amazing results. It's often like a critical mass in physics when you get a nuclear explosion if you get to a certain point of critical mass and you don't get anything worth seeing if you don't reach that same mass. Monger also observed that both he and Buffett left school only discover that there were multiple models at work and that these models created amazing results but that their professors and never told them about it that professors and use the same old approaches in a never considered more multidisciplinary view of the world. In the book he explains his multiple and unique models how to master them and cite specific examples of their application real-world analysis and decision-making 8) Munger on patience:  Munger, like Warren Buffett, makes a very large bats and typically holds the position for a live very long time Charlie calls it sit on your ass investing insights into many benefits: quote your paying less to brokers, listing less nonsense, if it works the tax system gives you an extra 12 or three percentage point per atom." The importance he notes is the art of patience/the art of waiting without tiring of waiting. Waiting also has application when you’re taking the time to evaluate the very best options and taking ONLY those options where success is most likely, and failure is possible but not likely. How does this apply/help us and how can we use this idea? Example:  What if you had a ticket.  And each time you made an investment it got punched and you could only make 20 investments in your life.  Would you take more time to choose? 9) Munger on how and where he operates:  “Move only when you have an advantage. It's very basic. After it understand the odds and have the discipline to bet only when the odds are in your favor. We just keep our heads down and handle the headwinds and tailwinds as best we can, and take the result after a period of years." Quote if we have a strength, it's in recognizing when we are operating well within our circle of competence and when we are approaching the perimeter." Warren Buffett Quote if you have competence pretty much know it's boundaries already. It asked the question of whether you are past the boundary is to answer it." M" I'm no genius. I'm smart in spots, and I stay around those spots." Thomas Watson Senior So it sounds like they say they’re staying in a comfort zone and we say expand the comfort zone.  Are those ideas in conflict or mutually exclusive? 10)  Munger’s effect on Buffett:   “ Charlie shoved me in the direction of not just buying bargains, has Ben Graham had taught me. This was the real impact Charlie had on me. It took a powerful force to move me from Graham’s  limiting views. It was the power of Charlie's mind. He expanded my horizons." Warren Buffett this reflects Charlie Munger's three great lessons of investing: 1) “ A great business at a fair price to superior to a fair business at a great price. 2) A great business at a fair price is superior to a fair business and great price. And 3) A great business at a fair price is superior to a fair business at a great price." Amazing Munger Questions: If it’s cheap enough to buy is it cheap for a right reason or a wrong reason? What’s the flip side? What can go wrong with that and that I’ve never seen? 11) The force of Competitive destruction:  Of the fifty most important stocks listed on the NYSE in 1911 only one remains in business today.  So what do you do about that?  And if so why and how do they invest for the long term. How does that apply to us? 12) There are no perfect formulae:  “You need a different checklists and a different mental model or multiple models for different companies. I can never make it easy by saying  “Here are three things." you have to derive it yourself to ingrain in your head for the rest of your life." How does this help/apply to us? This applies to every sales funnel as well.   Who are we selling to?  What are their unique worries, desires, needs, ways of deciding.  You can have a system for doing it but you need to do it to customize every product, service and marketing process. 13) Charlie Munger’s Recommended Reading List Guns, Germs and Steel:  The Fates of Human Societies - http://amzn.to/2icqLR0 (understanding how societies and systems grow, develop and die) The Selfish Gene (Extended Edition) - http://amzn.to/2yc4mhG (outcompeting the competition) Darwin’s Blind Spot - http://amzn.to/2iGhKDH (out co-operating the competition)

Getting Stuff done is all about mindset and willingness to be clear, develop commander’s intent and to delegate.  Otherwise, your output, success and achievement is limited by how fast you can run on the hamster wheel. It is also essential to understand the difference between efficiency (getting things done quickly and correctly) and effectiveness (getting the right things done I with efficiency). This distinction alone can be transformational.   It also follows that the people who achieve the most and the most important things are those who can get clarity of the mission (the why) and who recruit and train others to become leaders at every level of the enterprise.   They also recruit and encourage co-creation of the mission and develop the skills to keep ego from preventing input from others. They balance the need to own the mission with the need to work with others, gain their input and to constantly improve the mission and how it will be accomplished.   Resources: Extreme Ownership – Jocko Willink and Leif Babin Turn The Ship Around – Captain David Marquette Team of Teams – Gen Stanley MacCrystal Getting Things Done – David Allen Zen To Done and The Power of Less – Leo Babauta   www.SuccessTechnologies.com/blog  -Dave Frees

Somnath Sikdar is a 6th Dan Black Belt and the Owner of The Dragon Gym, which is a small chain of martial arts schools in Southeast Pennsylvania. The business Somnath now owns is where he began his martial arts career as a six year old. He holds degrees Science and Electrical Engineering, with minors in Systems Science and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, which proves you can have brains and brawn. Today we discuss: Parkinson’s Law and why exercise comes first Business thinking behind setting up a second location Initial exposure to the mastermind process What’s a perfect business look like Working on the business builds clarity The importance of knowing your ideal customer Masterminding Why Your business has got to run without you In Top Form podcast Your mind has an infinite ability to take in information You can’t put an old head on young shoulders Exercise must come first Your health must come first, it must be a priority, so you can be the best version of yourself, not just for you, but also for your family, business and team. Somnath was able to obtain degrees from university, while at the same time maintaining his high level of martial arts expertise. Parkinson’s Law – Work expands so as to fill the time available for it’s completion. Successful people always keep themselves busy and that’s exactly what Somnath did. Many of his university friends had so much free time; they never got around to studying. Business thinking behind expanding his business When a business becomes mature it also becomes saturated; meaning there’s nowhere else for it to go. You can try and fit more it, but it’s not viable. Everyone has ambition and a desire for more money, but at a much deeper level Somnath left engineering and got more into martial arts because he was driven by the idea of having impact, significance, and influence on other people’s lives. He felt he was benefiting society by having a second (and third) location. This gave him greater reach. Using the mastermind process to learn more about business His initial exposure into masterminding was not about learning more about martial arts, it was learning what it really means to be a better business owner, a better marketer, and how to run a business effectively. Masterminding taught him that if he wanted a successful business he needed to get himself off the mat. What’s a perfect business look like? When Somnath decided to open a second location he asked himself some very smart questions. If we had the ability to build a gym from scratch – what would it look like, in all ways? What is the layout? What colours will we use? What’s the décor and what will the program offering be? What mistakes have we made in the past and how can we eliminate these? His original location was 10000 square feet and it had seven different programs, (adults, children, kettle bell, etc), however his new location is only 2000 square feet and has just one program (children’s program), therefore only requiring two staff, and more importantly it runs without the owners being there. By getting off the mat it gave Somnath time to work on the business – therefore clarity to focus on how good the next location can be and by learning and perfecting the second location, the original location is now being modified. Subleasing to a synergistic businesses If you have spare space at your current location sublease it to a business that compliments what you’re doing, not only does it generate revenue, it can add value to your business. Dragon Gym subleases to a Physiotherapist; because members get injured, and by having a Physiotherapist onsite it gets members back training faster. Why did you specialise your second location? At the original Dragon Gym location Somnath had 7 programs and by looking at the numbers he identified 60% of their income came from their children’s program, therefore it made sense to focus the new location on this one program. This is why you need to know who your best customer is, your Avatar. With their kids program it could be broken down even further into niches: 3-4, 5-6, 7-9, 10-13 year olds. By separating them they can easily serve their individual needs better. (Awesome tip) Mastermind – The Discovery Group The mastermind group is about teaching other martial arts gym owners how to be profitable and not just being busy. We get into business because it’s something we love and we want to make money, but at what cost? That’s the important question. Your business has got to run without you, otherwise you just have a job and the only difference is you’re working for yourself. The power of the mastermind process Other business people can see what you cannot; this is the power of connecting with a mastermind group. It’s easy to look at someone else’s business and see what they’re doing wrong and visa versa. Also, when you look at someone else’s business it helps you reflect on your own business afterwards. In Top Form Facebook Page and Podcast Somnath Sikdar teams up with Dave Frees & Alex Frees to produce a weekly podcast, about science, strategies, tactics, and truth to achieve a better life, more profitable business and robust health. There’s a lot of value in learning from other professions and industries. Of course there’s value within your own industry, however they look at the problems the same way (Group think) Exposing yourself to things outside of your comfort zone will cause a fight or flight response, but this creates mental growth. Every time you reread a book you’ll learn something new. The interesting part is the book has not changed; it’s you that has changed. This applies to podcasts, meetings with people etc. As you grow, so does your ability to take in information. Episode 2 with Dave Frees The mind has an infinite capacity to learn. When Somnath was 18 he thought he was awesome and couldn’t be any better at martial arts. Then each year, as he got better and better he realised the more he learnt the less he actually knew. This applies to all areas of life and business. The longer you stay in a profession, the better you get. Your business today will look completely different in 12-months time and if it’s the same you have real problems. Your business cannot outgrow your own personal growth. You can’t put an old head on young shoulders We want to convey our knowledge to younger people, and you’d think technology would makes things easier, but you can’t pass on wisdom. Monday Morning Tip Whether it’s getting a coach, a mentor or joining a mastermind group, it’s important to find and associate with people that are more advanced than you in some way. It’s important to actively nurture those relationships. Many people are waiting for the teacher to find them, but you have to find the teacher and if someone is teaching you, you should be teaching someone else. You need to find your student as this creates balance. Podcast Review If you're enjoying this podcast series please gives it a review on iTunes or in your favourite podcast platform. My guest today is David M. Frees. He is a Trust, Estate and Wealth Preservation Lawyer from Phoenixville Pennsylvania. He is an expert when it comes to persuasion and communication, and on a personal note Dave is one of the best communicators I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I think you’ll go back and listen to this episode numerous times, because there’s so many takeaway points. Here are the highlights: The first and most powerful key to being a good communicator, great negotiator and person of influence, is to master the art of listening to the other person. You need to quiet the demons in your own head and not be thinking about what you want to say next. When you meet someone, always be looking for something to compliment him or her on, but make it genuine. “Wow that is a smashing tie”. It takes enormous practice to listen and not automatically respond or jump into the conversation. Everyone you meet is smarter than you at something, and thinking this way sets you up in a very positive mindset right from the start. The other person will sense your positive body language and attitude towards them. You can build trust by confessing something very early in the conversation. If you’re selling a product, you may point out a flaw in certain situations, or if it’s a personal conversation you may make an admission that may be slightly odd or embarrassing. Just don’t do it in the first 30 seconds. Also why you shouldn’t talk about your haemorrhoids. Some people will say that using these techniques is just manipulation, and they are correct, however all human communication is manipulative in some way, but you need to give up the idea that it’s a bad thing. It’s your INTENT for the outcome that matters. You can manipulate in a negative, or positive way. Where is the best place to learn more about this subject? The language we use, when communicating, can be very powerful and influential. Saying to a child, ‘don’t spill the milk’…puts that image in their head and increases the chance of them spilling the milk. But if you say, ‘keep the milk in the cup’, that’s the image they will see. We see words as images. The tonality of your voice, the speed of your voice and your body language is far more important than the words you use. This is why Barry White was so popular with his female audience. Learning to vary the speed and tone of your voice can be very effective in certain situations. If you want to hurry people up, or slow people down…use your voice. It’s important to go back and re-listen to mentors, previous podcasts and reread books because you’ll have a different mindset year to year and you’ll pick up new things each time. When you make a deal with yourself that you’re going to do something, no matter what, you need to stick to it, but don’t stay with it if it’s not working. Sometimes it is advisable to quit. Persuasion and influence is different. Persuasion is very hard to do because it relies you changing someone else’s mind, but over time and by building trust it is possible, however influence is where to want to be. Persuasion is part of a bigger goal and that is to become an influencer. Dave runs an event in Tempe Arizona every October: 3 Days of Success and Business Black Ops. (DOSE): Dopamine Ways to increase your dopamine levels: • Set daily or monthly goals, since they give you something to strive towards. • Set exercise goals, since dopamine increases in tandem with serotonin and endorphins when you exercise. Setting goals will increase the production of dopamine even more.• Eat foods that are rich in protein.• Set exercise goals, since dopamine increases in tandem with serotonin and endorphins when you exercise. Setting goals will increase the production of dopamine even more.• Eat foods that are rich in protein. Oxytocin Ways to increase your oxytocin levels: • Get a massage, since it relaxes your muscles and the prolonged physical contact triggers the release of oxytocin. Show your friends and family that you love them by touching them affectionately. You can hug your parents, throw an arm around a friend or cuddle up with your partner.   Serotonin Ways to increase your serotonin levels: Spend time in the sun, since sunlight causes your body to produce Vitamin D, which triggers the release of serotonin. • Think happy thoughts, since your brain produces serotonin when you remember happy memories or think about things that make you happy. Consume foods like milk and corn, since they contain tryptophan, a substance that your body converts to serotonin. Other carbohydrates also contain tryptophan. Do a low-intensity workout, since your body produces serotonin when it is performing aerobic exercise, as opposed to the endorphins it produces during anaerobic exercise.     Endorphins. - Ways to increase your endorphin levels: • Exercise to cope with chronic pain.• Eat spicy food, since your tongue has receptors that react to spice by sending messages to your brain that are similar to pain signals, causing your brain to trigger the release of endorphins.   Endocannabinoids: “The Bliss Molecule” Endocannabinoids are self-produced cannabis that work on the CB-1 and CB-2 receptors of the cannabinoid system. Anandamide (from the Sanskrit “Ananda” meaning Bliss) is the most well known endocannabinoid. Interestingly, at least 85 different cannabinoids have been isolated from the Cannabis plant. The assumption is that each of these acts like a key that slips into a different lock of the cannabinoid system and alters perceptions and states of consciousness in various ways. It is likely that we self-produce just as many variations of endocannabinoids, but it will take neuroscientists decades to isolate them. Dopamine: “The Reward Molecule” Dopamine is responsible for reward-driven behavior and pleasure seeking. Every type of reward seeking behavior that has been studied increases the level of dopamine transmission in the brain. If you want to get a hit of dopamine, set a goal and achieve it.   Oxytocin: “The Bonding Molecule” Oxytocin is a hormone directly linked to human bonding and increasing trust and loyalty.  In some studies, high levels of oxytocin have been correlated with romantic attachment. Some studies show if a couple is separated for a long period of time, the lack of physical contact reduces oxytocin and drives the feeling of longing to bond with that person again. But there is some debate as to whether oxytocin has the same effect on men as it does on women. In men, vasopressin (a close cousin to oxytocin) may actually be the “bonding molecule.” But again, the bottom line is that skin-to-skin contact, affection, love making and intimacy are key to feeling happy.   In a cyber world, where we are often ‘alone together’ on our digital devices, it is more important than ever to maintain face-to-face intimate human bonds and ‘tribal’ connections within your community. Working out at a gym, in a group environment or having a jogging buddy is a great way to sustain these human bonds and release oxytocin.   In a 2003 study, oxytocin levels rose in both the dog and the owner after time spent ‘cuddling’. The strong emotional bonding between humans and dogs may have a biological basis in oxytocin. If you don’t have another human being to offer you affection and increase oxytocin your favorite pet can also do the trick.   Endorphin: “The Pain-Killing Molecule” The name Endorphin translates into “self-produced morphine."  Endorphins resemble opiates in their chemical structure and have analgesic properties. Endorphins are produced by the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus during strenuous physical exertion, sexual intercourse and orgasm. Make these pursuits a part of your regular life to keep the endorphins pumping.   Endorphins are linked less to ‘Runner’s High’ now than endocannabinoids, but are connected to the ‘feeling no pain’ aspect of aerobic exercise and are produced in larger quantities during high intensity ‘anaerobic’ cardio and strength training.   In 1999, clinical researchers reported that inserting acupuncture needles into specific body points triggers the production of endorphins. In another study, higher levels of endorphins were found in cerebrospinal fluid after patients underwent acupuncture.  Acupuncture is a terrific way to stimulate the release of endorphins.   GABA: “The Anti-Anxiety Molecule” GABA is an inhibitory molecule that slows down the firing of neurons and creates a sense of calmness. You can increase GABA naturally by practicing yoga, meditation or “The Relaxation Response.”  Benzodiazepines (Such as Valium and Xanax) are sedatives that work as anti-anxiety medication by increasing GABA. These drugs have many side effects and risks of dependency but are still widely prescribed. A study from the "Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine" found a 27% increase in GABA levels among yoga practitioners after a 60-minute yoga session when compared against participants who read a book for 60 minutes. The study suggests yoga might increase GABA levels naturally.   Serotonin: “The Confidence Molecule” Serotonin plays so many different roles in our bodies that it is really tough to tag it. For the sake of practical application I call it “The Confidence Molecule.” Ultimately the link between higher serotonin and a lack of rejection sensitivity allows people to put themselves in situations that will bolster self-esteem, increase feelings of worthiness and create a sense of belonging. To increase serotonin, challenge yourself regularly and pursue things that reinforce a sense of purpose, meaning and accomplishment.  Being able to say "I did it!" will produce a feedback loop that will reinforce behaviors that build self esteem and make you less insecure and create an upward spiral of more and more serotonin.   A variety of popular anti-depressants are called Serotonin-Specific Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) — these are well known drugs like Prozac, Celexa, Lexapro, Zoloft, etc. The main indication for SSRIs is clinical depression, but SSRIs are frequently prescribed for anxiety, panic disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, chronic pain, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).   Adrenaline: “The Energy Molecule” Adrenaline, technically known as epinephrine, plays a large role in the fight or flight mechanism. The release of epinephrine is exhilarating and creates a surge in energy. Adrenaline causes an increase in heart rate, blood pressure, and works by causing less important blood vessels to constrict and increasing blood flow to larger muscles. An “Epi-Pen” is a shot of epinephrine used in the treatment of acute allergic reactions.   An ‘adrenaline rush’ comes in times of distress or facing fearful situations. It can be triggered on demand by doing things that terrify you or being thrust into a situation that feels dangerous. You can also create an adrenaline rush by taking short rapid breathes and contracting muscles. This jolt can be healthy in small doses, especially when you need a pick me up.   25 Happiness Hacks:   http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/22/health/happiness-hacks/   Turn on a light box DMF: Verilux Light therapy is an effective treatment for seasonal affective disorder (SAD), but experts agree that it works to treat symptoms of major depressive disorder as well. Feeling blue? You can turn on a light box for 30 minutes to an hour   Open the shades and close them (SLEEPMASK) DMF If you don't have access to a light box, the simple act of letting in some sunlight can brighten your mood. When your workspace or living area is brighter, you tend to feel happier too. Go outside Starting to feel down? Head outside to soak up some sunshine. The human body produces vitamin D when exposed to the sun's rays, and research suggests that people who are deficient in the vitamin are more likely to be depressed, anxious, and tired. Step into the sunshine for 20 to 25 minutes of sunlight to lighten your mood naturally. Try meditation DMF: Guided meditation, mantra meditation Mindfulness breathing Headspace and calm Good news: Meditation is a proven stress-buster with no harmful side effects. Studies have shown that its benefits range from pain reduction and lower blood pressure to a boost in libido. Best part? It releases "happy" chemicals in the brain—serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins—all of which work together to put you in a better mood. If you don't know where to start, try a guided meditation to de-stress or start your morning.   Smell the oranges DMF essential oils Citrus scents, such as orange, lemon, and grapefruit bring out positive chemical reactions in your brain as well as work to ease stress. If you want to feel uplifted, use a few drops of citrus essential oil on your pressure points. You can also mix the scent with a floral aroma such as jasmine to increase the positive effects.   Eat carbs as an afternoon snack You know that afternoon mood slump that hits at just the worst time? Well, it turns out that you can eat your way to a happier, more energized afternoon—carbs. For years we've been hearing that we should avoid carbs, but in reality, a low-carb diet can make us feel sad and stressed. Carbohydrates actually boost mood-boosting chemicals in the brain. But let's get something straight here—we want to focus on healthy, whole-grain sources instead of refined carbohydrates to reap the benefits. When you begin to feel down, go for an afternoon snack of 25 to 30 grams of carbs, such as a three-quarter-cup serving of Cheerios.   Play with your pet Having a dog or cat can seriously improve your quality of life—their excitement in seeing you come home and their unyielding loyalty make them great companions. There are a host of reasons why pets improve your health, but they can turn around a bad mood and make you happier in no time. A study found that petting a dog for only 15 minutes releases serotonin, prolactin, and oxytocin—all of which are mood-enhancing hormones, while lowering the stress hormone cortisol.   Take microbreaks Research shows that people who take quick breaks during their workday to watch funny videos online get a high emotional payoff and report feeling more energetic and happy with fewer negative emotions. Not only will this improve your mental health overall; this is an easy way to turn around a bad mood in less than a minute—plus, you can get a metabolism boost, too!   Add turmeric to your meal The active compound in turmeric, curcumin, has natural antidepressant qualities. You may already be adding turmeric to your meals because of its vast whole-body health benefits, such as lessening the effects of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and other inflammatory conditions, as well as fighting Alzheimer's disease and diabetes. Animal studies have also linked curcumin to an increase in serotonin and dopamine, so it's a powerful way to boost your mood.   Listen to music... Have you ever heard a song over the radio that just felt good? Or have you turned on an old CD only to find a flood of happy memories come streaming back? Well, that's due to the fact that music is a mood-booster. It releases the feel-good chemical dopamine into your system and brings on nostalgia.   ...And sing along You can also get happy by making your own music—by singing. University of Manchester researchers discovered that a tiny organ in the inner ear (called the sacculus) is connected to a part of your brain that registers pleasure. The sacculus registers frequency notes that are associated with singing almost instantly, giving you a warm and fuzzy feeling. So go ahead and sing in the shower, belt it out in your car, or get up on that karaoke stage.   Eat chocolate (yes!) While you might not need another excuse to eat more chocolate, here's another: It makes us happier. Chocolate contains tryptophan, which boosts the production of serotonin in the brain, leading to better moods. This trick also works with other foods containing tryptophan, such as poultry and eggs.   Drink coffee This morning energy boost doubles as a mood pick-me-up. A Harvard University study found that women who drank at least two cups of coffee regularly were at a 15% lower risk of depression than women who did not. Just keep in mind that those fancy coffee drinks can have tons of hidden sugar and calories, so it's best to stick with black coffee (and some skim milk).   Sip on some green tea Green tea already boasts an impressive résumé of health benefits. Thanks to the polyphenols it contains, green tea helps with weight loss by boosting metabolism, as well as providing a reduced risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, certain cancers, and osteoporosis. But for your mood? Green tea has been shown to reduce stress levels. A study found that people who drank five or more cups of green tea per day had a 20% lower level of stress than those who drank less than one.   Make a human connection Put down your smartphone and take a step back from your computer screen. If you want to feel better—and fast—go to a friend or family member for some relief. A study from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill found that human touch releases those feel-good chemicals like serotonin, as well as reduces blood pressure and heart rate making you feel more relaxed.   Consume healthy fats You know how avocados are some of the most pleasurable foods to eat, with their rich taste and smooth, decadent texture? That's a mood-booster on its own, but research also suggests that their fat content is also the reason why they better our mood. Because fat slows digestion, it evens our blood sugar levels leaving us to feel calm and satisfied. So go ahead and treat yourself to some avocado or nuts next time you're feeling anxious.   Eat more salmon Fatty fish like salmon is high in omega-3 fatty acids, which can help stave off depression (omega-3s are also present in avocados and nuts, as well as grass-fed beef and chicken). This is because they help to maintain brain function in the areas that regulate mood and emotion—a study found that women who hate fish two times per week had a 25% lower risk of depression than women who ate it less often. If you don't like to eat fish, try taking omega-3 fish oil supplements instead.   Try St. John's wort WARNING! This herbal supplement is one of the most-studied herbal supplements for depression, and research shows that it may be as beneficial as antidepressants when treating mild depression. While it may seem like a no-brainer, St. John's wort has known serious drug interactions, including reducing the effectiveness of birth control. Additionally, when taken in conjunction with antidepressants, the supplement can create too-high levels of serotonin, which can lead to heart problems. So before you try this one, be sure to check in with your doctor.

Starting his career back in 1985, as an attorney assigned to large litigation matters such as aviation litigation and tobacco litigation it was obvious that this was a young man full of ambition, Moving through a few quick career steps, it seems obvious to an outsider than upon creating the company Success technologies he had found the thing that he was waiting to do. He now uses his experience to teach leadership, sales and marketing, persuasion, influence, interrogation, and negotiation to audiences ranging from computer hackers turned “good guys” to entrepreneurs, the military and to civilians. Appearing on NPR, MindTV, PBS, Fox News, and on over 120 radio and television programs it is with little surprise that he has also been flourishing within hes own freelance keynote speaking business. He has authored several books related to persuasion, influence and business, and co-authored Einstein's Business with M. Scott Peck, Steven Covey, and many other folk, whilst still being a practising lawyer. So how does he manage to do all these things whilst still keeping his hair, his sanity and managing to spend anytime with his family? And what is the area, if it was all taken away from him that he would now like to step into, bringing his talents to a whole new audience? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Dave Frees

Steve Forbes, the Editor-In-Chief of Forbes Media has called him a “Grand Master” of communications skills and Elite Books has called him “One of the fifty most influential business thinkers today”. Dave Frees is an attorney, author, entrepreneur and speaker who has lived a fascinating life that took him across the globe and exposed him to master communicators, persuaders, and negotiators in hundreds of nations and across many cultures. He is a master of teaching enhanced communication and how to go from being persuasive to being truly influential A Woman Who Has Influenced Your Life Dave lives and works in a very estrogen-rich environment but his earth-mother wife has the biggest impact on him as a leader. Dave is normally the fiery one and his wife has a more subtle way of dealing with things in their relationship. An example of this is when Dave increases the sound of his voice intentionally with their children. His wife thought it had gone a little too far so she calmly pointed out that raising his voice did not seem to be an effective way of communicating with the kids. She pointed it out several times until Dave realized she was right and promptly stopped raising his voice. What He Sees That Hold Women Back Dave notices that many intellectual women, especially in helping professions, do not charge clients what they are worth. He says they seem to be afraid to take credit for their hard work. And, they are often surprised to learn that if they don’t charge people, they will not believe the service offered has value. What He Has Learned from Women Women have taught Dave two very important things. One is the skill of being adaptable in their communication style and they are good at making sure their message is heard which led to him writing his book, The Language of Parenting. The second is the skill of patience when communicating.  The Necessary Changes Dave sees many women who are leaders or in the process of becoming leaders who impose limitations on themselves. He believes that if they overcome internal objections they can hone in on their leadership skills.    What Are You Excited About? Dave’s new program, Persuasion to Influence, has him really excited. He is building and testing different aspects of his program at his live events. Inspirational Quote “No plan survives contact with the enemy. So, plan early and often.” ~Dave Frees “The quality of my communication is the quality of the response I get.” ~Dave Frees Interview Links Website: http://www.successtechnologies.com/blog Twitter: https://twitter.com/davefrees Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/davidfrees   Find more resources at https://womentakingthelead.com
