special guest in the TV Gold studio this week as TV Tonight's David Knox joins the episode. Programs we review this week below. What will be the Show of the Week? Dune Prophecy (Binge, 6 episodes) A prequel to the two Dune movies. An ambitious storyline that has a flavour of Games of Thrones about it. The cast features five Australian actors including Travis Fimmel. Nuggett Is Dead (Stan) The latest Christmas movie from the streamer and two very different reviews from Andrew and James. Bad Sisters S2 (Apple TV+) A great cast tries to recapture the magic that was Season 1. And you haven't seen that, forget Season 2 until you've enjoyed those episodes. Television Event (SBS On Demand) A documentary about the 1983 US telemovie The Day After which pulled a huge audience of people worried about the nuclear arms race. Countdown50 (iview) All three commentators this week agree this was a brilliant special. David Knox was in the audience and the TV Gold commentary was unanimous – more please ABC. How does personal growth connect to the greater evolution of humanity? In this fascinating episode, I welcome David Knox to explore the link between personal habits, somatic experiences, and collective evolution. From Darwinian evolution to cosmological perspectives, David offers insights into how our individual evolution can contribute to the larger consciousness of humanity. Join us as we uncover the power of intention, the impact of our emotional state on outcomes, and how physical release can lead to emotional freedom. In this episode, David Knox and I discuss: - The connection between habits, intuition, and somatic experiences in personal and collective evolution. - Evolution from both a scientific (Darwinian) and cosmological perspective. - David's journey of realizing the importance of aligning personal goals with universal evolution. - The interconnectedness of consciousness and the impact of individual growth on collective human development. - The holistic view of what it means to be human and how it affects our life experiences. - The idea that consciousness and intention are integral to the universe and personal evolution. - The concept of a holographic fractal universe, where each part reflects the whole. - The importance of individual evolution for the betterment of humanity and the planet. - How the emotional and mental state behind our actions influences our outcomes. - Challenges of becoming aware of misalignments in one's life and the courage required to make changes. And so much more! David Knox is the creator and host of The Evolutionary Podcast and LiveStream YouTube channel. For decades David studied and experimented with the relationship between spiritual practices and life circumstances. In 2019, looking at the state of the world, David decided it was time to walk away from his corporate career and start talking to people who care about things that matter. Now David teaches others how to use their holographic, fractal relationship with our consciously evolutionary universe to create happiness, meaning, fulfillment and affluence in their lives, and in doing so, help to evolve the human species. Do you ever stop to ask yourself, how will I know when I have arrived, that moment where I can be at peace and I have made it? What if THIS is the moment? How would you know? Alcohol has a way of keeping you ANYWHERE but the present moment, which is the only place where true peace can exist. Either we are nostalgic about the subjective past of the "good old days", or terrified of the future yet to be told. Every moment is the opportunity to experience the fruits of your labor, until you step into that place of the compassionate witness, you will never be honouring you, and your life as it is in this moment, alcohol will always win the illusion of better. Exploring fear, superannuation, and something bigger
Dr David Knox, Mercer Senior Partner & Senior Actuary, joins Michael regarding the call by seniors organisations for the Morrison government to overhaul the pension system that would take into account possible changes to tax concessions, such as franking credits, as a way to pay for any reforms. Dr Knox says the system of means testing made it difficult for many people to plan retirement… and there was scope to adopt a model used in Denmark where all retirees were paid a part pension that maintained some elements of means testing but also guaranteed income for all. "The advantage is the universal part pension gives everybody a base to build on while the means-tested pension ensures that no-one lives in poverty." "Another advantage is that the means testing will cease at a lower level of assets or income than currently, as it would only apply to half the pension." "This means that many retired Australian households would not be subject to any means testing and there would be a much clearer incentive to make some extra savings for your retirement."
Jason sits down with Real Estate guru David Knox to discuss handling the fear and anxiety of clients.
Join host David Knox for a discussion on some of the foundational elements of evolutionary acceleration. As we get ready to dive deeper into the Evolutionary Framework to learn how the acceleration of our personal evolution can help us to create that big, bright, beautiful, sexy, abundant life we desire, and HEAL THE WORLD all in the same motion, we have to level-set on a few fundamentals. And as we all know, fundamentals don't change much and they are easy to forget, but they are vital aspects of executing on a higher level. Today we'll be talking about Worldview, Personal Responsibility, and Mode of Creation. https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheEvolutionaryPodcast/

Selling the Dream: A Podcast for Resort & 2nd Home Real Estate Agents
Can you believe that we’re almost at a hundred episodes of this podcast! I’m blown away when I think about the people I’ve been able to interview, the guests we’ve had on the show, and how much real estate we’ve talked about! Our guests represent literal millions of dollars in sales, and are each successful in their own right, and bring so much value to the table. I’d encourage you to take time to scroll through all of the episodes where ever you like to listen to podcasts, and listen and learn: if you finish all the episodes, it would be like finishing a master class on real estate! As we’re celebrating our hundredth episode this upcoming Tuesday, I want to take a few minutes to share about some of MY favorite episodes. Thanks for joining us on Selling the Dream - we wouldn’t be where we are without you listening, and giving your feedback! Want to celebrate with us? As a 100th episode gift, we’d love to ask you to give us a rating and review on iTunes! That would mean the world to me, and will help us get even more amazing guests! Highlights of this episode: Tom reminisces on a hundred episodes - almost a year of podcasting! Here’s some of the highlights during the hundred episodes. In Episode 13, Gary Gold talked about how he “doesn’t give a shit.” No matter who you are working with, whether it be a celebrity, or anyone, just help them find the home of their dreams! In Episode 27, Tom Ferry talked about creating an avatar for your clients: know WHO you serve, what they are like, how many kids they have - know all of these things! Once you know all of this, you can target them effectively with ads. In Episode 45, the Houstons told us about how they beat Zillow and brought in more leads. In Episode 53, David Knox, an international trainer, talks about identifying the motivation for a second home buyer. Hint: it’s not all about the money! In Episode 41, Matt Farnham talked about reinventing his brand: he found a way to turn himself into a trusted guide rather than “just a real estate agent!” Chris Kwon shared how he uses videos: that’s episode 11. You want videos that are more than just property showcases! In Episode 93, Alan Thompson tells us how he uses his database to bring him all the business he needs! Tammy Pack shared in episode 83 about how being a problem solver brings great success. In Episode 57, I got to tell Roh Habibi that he was a second home agent! Jim Wahlberg gave us the secret to the Facebook formula in episode 29. Christophe Choo showed us behind the scenes of high-end Beverly Hills real estate in Episode 59, and the advice that Gary Vaynerchuk gave him that changed his business. Tom ends with some inspirational advice on having a “can do attitude” and making it happen! Hey everybody, thank you so much for spending time with us today: would you do me a giant favor and share this podcast with fellow realtors, and leave a review. Your reviews help this podcast get shared with more people. Connect with me (Tom): 2nd Home Agents website Facebook Instagram YouTube Subscribe to the Show Don’t miss a single episode of the podcast. The real estate industry has matured to a point where agents are becoming commodities. While this is good for the consumer, it's difficult for real estate agents who have to set themselves apart. Why is it so important to leverage video in order to build deeper relationships? What is the toughest objection agents have to overcome and how can you handle it? How can you use technology along with face-to-face interaction to convert at a higher level? On this episode, I’m joined by iconic sales trainer and speaker, David Knox, who shares on winning strategies to stay ahead in the real estate game. Step out of familiarity-building into direct prospecting phone-to-phone, face-to-face, Zoom-to-Zoom. -David Knox 3 Takeaways Leverage video content. Five minutes of “show me” is worth five hours of “tell me”. When it comes to dialogue, think PAID. Pause, Acknowledge, Isolate, and Discover. Search hashtags in your local area to learn what your ideal client is interested in. Use the most relevant hashtags to connect with them. At the start of the show, we talked about the importance of being the same person both online and offline. Next, we talked about the steps you need to take to handle the commission objection, and the 4 key points of dialogue. We also discussed why you still need to talk to people on the phone, or in person if you want to have a higher conversion rate. We also discussed; How to use hashtags to learn more about ideal clients in your area Building familiarity vs. direct prospecting Why social media should be used as an introduction With real estate becoming more of a commodity, what truly separates agents is the level of service we give our clients. In order to fetch the commission we want, we have to deliver value that sets us apart and makes us different from everyone else. Our communication is very important in differentiating us. Whatever social media tools we use, we're still going to have the highest conversion rate if we pick up the phone and meet people. Social media is a great introduction, but we still need that in-person connection to really solidify the relationship.

This episode is celebrating our one-year anniversary in the #playhouseWe have had 51 unique and fun radio shows/podcasts and we hope you have enjoyed. We talk the David Knox method of pricing a home. David Knox Business Knowing if you utilize a Realtor®, the Realtor® is not in control over the market, the condition of the home, the location, the buyer's wants/needs or the terms of the market. The Realtor® is in control of "marketing" the home. The buyer determines the value when placing the offer. The seller has a choice to accept, reject or counter. The market analysis is the "test" of the market or in some cases an appraisal is utilized to determine list pricing of the home. Some items we know do not determine value - the sellers wants to net, the seller has invested X dollars into the home, the seller is moving and "needs the money"...all of these are conditions of the negotiation and do not effect the value of the house. The value of the house is only determined by one's willingness to pay for a home. Period. The end.The Realtor® is asked to market a home and sell it on a "contingency" basis. The real estate agent is not paid for their work until the transaction has settled. This ensures the real estate agent is invested financially and personally into the getting the most money for the seller in the easiest and simplest way possible. That is our goal. If the home does not sell, it is not always a reflection of the agent. According to the National Association of Realtors, the price of the home is 80% of the marketing. National Association of RealtorsAngus' Pick - Proof Mango WitAngus enjoys his in the summer! It is a refreshing beer and its not super expensive for craft beer! It has a 5.2 alcohol content and a great beer out by the pool with my friends!Patty's Pick - Jim Beam Twice Barreled Bourbon I love this bourbon.
