In this episode, we're exploring a topic that's revolutionizing the patient payment landscape in healthcare: Digital Wallets and Contactless Payments. The days of writing checks and swiping cards are fading into the backdrop of healthcare payments. Today, we're witnessing a remarkable transformation, a shift towards more modern, tech-driven solutions. But what exactly are digital wallets and contactless payments? And how are they changing the way medical groups manage transactions? Digital wallets, like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay, are essentially your wallet in a digital form. These electronic devices or online services let individuals make electronic transactions effortlessly. And then there's contactless payments – using RFID or NFC technology, patients can now pay their medical bills with just a simple tap of their smartphone or contactless credit card. But how are these advanced payment options being adopted in healthcare? Well, it's not just about keeping up with technology but also about enhancing the patient experience. Imagine a patient finishing their consultation and simply tapping their phone on a reader to complete the payment. No fumbling for cards, no waiting for change. It's all about making the process seamless and secure. Please Follow or Subscribe to get new episodes delivered to you as soon as they drop!

With the growing danger of kidnapping in SA, many “security experts” suggest that we DON'T have banking apps on cellphones as this may result in Kidnappers keeping people longer to keep accessing funds using the app. BUT banks want me to use virtual cards and tap and go rather then physical cards. Ebucks now gives points for virtual card use over physical card use. What is the safest way to do this ESPECIALLY since I don't have a NFC (near-field communication) abled phone. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/chatgpt20/message

https://amateurtraveler.com/travel-to-new-york-city/ Hear about travel to New York City as the Amateur Traveler talks to Rebecca Shoval from Not Just Tourists NYC about her adopted home in the city that never sleeps. Why should you go to New York City?  Rebecca says, "I think someone should come to New York for so many reasons. I think it's this incredibly vibrant place. It exudes life and I find walking around the city, it really just gives you energy. It's also this vibrant multicultural place where you can really see the way that there's so much commitment to the city and to the culture and to people really living in something resembling harmony next to each other... or at least ignoring each other and not getting in each other's business. There are so many different things to do." Rebecca says that the city has changed since COVID-19. She highlights how the city has recovered and transformed from the pandemic's impacts, offering a unique perspective on what makes New York a vibrant and dynamic place. Rebecca recommends exploring different boroughs and neighborhoods within New York City. The city's diversity is reflected in its various neighborhoods, each with its own cultural influences and attractions. She particularly recommends Queens, known for its ethnic neighborhoods like Jackson Heights and Flushing, offering immersive food tours and unique experiences. Public transportation is an essential part of the New York experience. Rebecca emphasizes the convenience of using apps like MyMTA, MTA Bus Time, and Train Time to navigate the city's extensive subway, bus, and train systems. The ease of using Apple Pay or Samsung Pay to access public transit now makes travel efficient and hassle-free.  The Staten Island Ferry offers stunning views of the Statue of Liberty, Southern Manhattan, Brooklyn, and New Jersey. It's a free ferry that provides a unique and picturesque perspective of iconic landmarks. Rebecca suggests taking this ferry to get a feel for the city's beauty from the water. The Tenement Museum provides insights into New York's immigrant history, showcasing how various ethnic communities lived and worked. She would recommend that museum or the New York Historical Society instead of a trip to the World Trade Center Memorial for those interested in history. Walking across iconic bridges like the Brooklyn Bridge and Williamsburg Bridge provides breathtaking city views. Additionally, taking city ferries offers an alternative way to see New York's skyline from the water.  Rebecca recommends seeing New York from above but suggests skipping touristy skyscrapers like the Empire State Building and opting for bars or restaurants with panoramic views. The Graduate Hotel's rooftop bar on Roosevelt Island is recommended for its exceptional view of Manhattan and surrounding areas. You have to check out the entertainment scene in New York. Broadway is amazing for its incredible talent and performances, while jazz enthusiasts are advised to explore smaller venues like Arthur's Tavern, Cellar Dog, and Somewhere Nowhere for a more interactive experience. Try visiting parks like Brooklyn Bridge Park, Prospect Park, and Domino's Sugar Factory, which offer unique recreational spaces and city views.  For ionic New York food, you have to consider getting bagels and pizza. Joe's Pizza and Tompkins Square Bagels are Rebecca's favorites. Try street food, especially halal carts which are much more prevalent than hot dog stands in New York these days. Try some cuisine you can't get at home like Caribbean food, regional Chinese, or Burmese cuisine. Eat something at a bodega. Rebecca's favorite restaurants include the experimental restaurant Fulgrances in Brooklyn which is notable for its rotating chefs and wine selection. Another favorite is Little Myanmar in the East Village, which serves Burmese food. She recommends the pasta at Nona Dora's (even the Gluten-free). Reservations are advised due to ongoing restaurant challenges post-pandemic. Use the Rezy app. Wear comfortable shoes, carry a reusable water bottle, and bring a sense of adventure as you explore one of the world's greatest cities, New York City.

Oracle extended its comprehensive retail cloud platform to include the Oracle Retail Payments Cloud Service. This will allow retailers to now accept Apple, Google, and Samsung Pay, without the hidden fees and unpredictable costs that erode the bottom line. This service also runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring it has high-security standards, end-to-end encryption, and is PCI/DSS compliant. Workday announced its continued momentum within the retail industry, with more than 50% of the retail organizations in the Fortune 500 having selected Workday. Along with this announcement, Workday introduced new demand forecasting to Workday Scheduling and Labor Optimization. The new feature leverages AI and machine learning technology to enable retailers to forecast business demand based on external data, such as sales and foot traffic history. On a similar note, AI continues to grow in the market with new advancements emerging across the industry. NICE announced new RPA (Robotic Process Automation) capabilities in its latest release, using AI to identify focused opportunities for automation, then Pr3vent and webAI have partnered to train Pr3vents AI model and remove bias to accurately screen eyes, all on top of the ChatGPT momentum, a product which millions of people are trying. Connect with us!https://www.erpadvisorsgroup.com866-499-8550LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/company/erp-advisors-groupTwitter:https://twitter.com/erpadvisorsgrpFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/erpadvisorsInstagram:https://www.instagram.com/erpadvisorsgroupPinterest:https://www.pinterest.com/erpadvisorsgroupMedium:https://medium.com/@erpadvisorsgroup

Very small crease in middle of phone when phone unfolded. Physical SIMM plus ESIMM. 5G. Chargers via UsBc, no charger in box, only UsBC cable. 3300Mah battery. Wireless charging as well as able to charge other devices. Can use PIN number, Face ID or Finger print to unlock phone. Finger print sensor is part of the Power button. Cover screen gives access to notifications, time, and battery. Plus user added widgets including Alarm, Blood Oxygen, Blood pressure, Daily Activity, ECG, Heart beat, multiple workouts, music, Sleep, Steps, Stress, Voice recorder, Weather, and World clock (amongst others). When phone folded, hinge is at top, and always on cover small screen at the bottom which also contains the camera. Whether unfolded or folded, volume up button to answer, and Bixby/Power button to hang up. When phone folded, volume buttons change orientation so these can be use in the same orientation. Can setup so that opening phone will answer and closing the phone will hang up call. Having software Back, Home, and Recents button at the bottom of all screens makes for ease of use. Can add Apps button to bottom of screen as well. Can use find Device to locate other Samsung products including phones, tablets, and the Galaxy Watch. Uses Bixby as default assistant. Uses Samsung Pay. Can enable Talkback upon setting up phone by holding down two fingers on the screen for 5 seconds. Tutorial, practice, and help function available for Talkback. Talkback similar gestures to VoiceOver in respect to 1 finger flick left, right, and double tap. Two finger double tap for starting/stopping audio same as VoiceOver Magic double tap. Angled gestures for Talkback for Home, Back, Notifications, Recent apps, and Talkback settings (amongst other gestures). 1 finger flick up/down too change “rotor” setting (besides 3 finger flick left or right, and 1 finger flick up or down to navigate by “rotor” item. Can control basic functions of Talkback via voice input. Braille Input keyboard available as part of Talkback. https://beebom.com/galaxy-z-flip-3-faq/ Galaxy Watch 4 two models off the Galaxy watch 4: standard with no rotating bezel and the Classic with the rotating bezel. Rotating bezel replaces two finger scroll left and wright when using Talkback. Different sizes and either a bluetooth or Bluetooth/Cellular version. Various watch bands. Traditional watch pins to hold on band. Physical Home button (hold in for Bixby), and a back button (hold in for Samsung Pay). On Classic 4 with bezel, rotate clockwise to answer incoming phone call (two finger double tap to hang up using Talkback). Interface quite easy to navigate with a Home Screen, notifications, widgets, and apps screen. Various fitness and well being features to the Apple Watch, and similar to the Z3 Flip features as well.
