Gavin Newsom can do seems to be stopping the exodus. Productions have been steadily leaving California for more than a decade as costs have made filing in Los Angeles or elsewhere in California prohibitive, and the recent devastating fires in L.A. have only made matters worse. Locations elsewhere in the U.S. have been the happy recipient of entertainment productions as Las Vegas, Chicago, and the states of Georgia and New Mexico, among many others, have benefited greatly from the influx of filmmakers. But productions outside the U.S. have also been reaping the rewards. As a result, filmmakers have streamed to Australia, Ireland, Hungary, and a growing list of other countries. Devastating wildfires destroyed large areas of Los Angeles and prompted intense criticism of LA Mayor Karen Bass, a Marxist-Leninist who traveled frequently to Cuba for radical training in the past. Bass, along with Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom, failed to effectively prepare for the wildfires by cutting funds for firefighting and instead spent millions on politically correct radical environmental programs. The failures reflect a long-term radicalization of politics in California which has become a largely socialist/Marxist enclave. This episode explores how radical Marxists like the late Tom Hayden successfully advanced radical policies now adopted by many leaders in California. The counterproposal section discusses the roots of inhumanity in Marxist-Leninist ideology: The false claim that people are non-spiritual beings. The news portion looks at how communist-nationalists in China are expressing admiration for President-elect Trump. The interview section hears from Roger Canfield, author of the book American Lenin on Tom Hayden and Jane Fonda. Andrew Lewis, a former Pennsylvania state representative, is the new president at the Commonwealth Foundation, the state's premier public policy organization. He stepped into the job in September, just as America turned its attention to the Keystone State, which will play a decisive role in the 2024 election. In an interview with The Daily Signal, Lewis pinpointed the key issues facing Pennsylvania voters, starting with the higher prices they're paying for gas, groceries, and housing. "The big issue on everybody's mind is inflation and the cost of living," Lewis said. "Over the last few years, voters and citizens have been given what's tantamount to a 20% tax hike ... and not being able to afford what they used to be able to afford just a few years ago." As a near-lifelong Pennsylvanian, Lewis shared his aspirations for the state, faulting poor leadership as an impediment hampering the Keystone State. He cited Pennsylvania's strategic location and natural resources as key advantages, but blamed high taxes and regulations as reasons why its residents are fleeing for other states. "We're the Keystone State. We're the epicenter of the East Coast. We've got great competitive advantages here," Lewis explained. "We should be leading economically, we should be adding to our population base. We've got so much potential, but unfortunately, a lot of leftist policies have held the state back for years." Lewis plans to use his experience in the state legislature to guide the Commonwealth Foundation's efforts and help Pennsylvania achieve its true potential. He cited the energy sector as crucial to Pennsylvania's economy, warning that restrictive government policies could undermine its competitive advantage. "If you were to rank Pennsylvania as its own nation, you would see we're in the top of exporters globally," Lewis said. "We have this massive opportunity." Education reform is another priority for Lewis. As a lawmaker, he championed parental rights and the need for school choice. "Parents know best what their kids need for their educational journey," he said. "And it's not always the government school." The Lifeline Scholarship Program, which would provide educational opportunities for students in underperforming schools, was a step away from becoming law until Democrat Gov. Josh Shapiro issued a line-item veto in 2023. Shapiro, who touted his support for the idea during his 2022 campaign for governor, flip-flopped when faced with pressure from teachers unions. Looking ahead to the future, Lewis outlined his vision for the Commonwealth Foundation, promising to maximize the organization's impact through policy development, government affairs, and storytelling. "We transform free-market ideas into actionable public policies so that all Pennsylvanians can flourish," he said.

This episode is a meditation on the several ways the Party wants us to know our place. And sometimes it even involves weird instances where Satan tells the truth. The ‘Know. Your. Place.' mantra says that you should shut up and not say the things that you see. You are to do as you are told. I share with you a fantastic bit of fact checking on reporting from USA Today as they show us “our place”. You can say whatever you want, as long as you are helping the Party, otherwise you need to shut up. A prime example is the former Home Secretary of the UK. She was fired after speaking up about the failure of multiculturalism. We also look at an interview Tucker Carlson had with Douglass Mackey who is going to prison for mocking Hillary Clinton. ‘Know. Your. Place.' also extends to voter fraud and our bodies. What does God's Word say? Galatians 3:26-2926 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.Matthew 20:20-28A Mother's Request20 Then the mother of Zebedee's sons came to Jesus with her sons and, kneeling down, asked a favor of him.21 “What is it you want?” he asked. She said, “Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.”22 “You don't know what you are asking,” Jesus said to them. “Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?”“We can,” they answered.23 Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father.”24 When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers. 25 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”Episode 1,218 Links:After San Francisco was magically cleaned up ahead of Xi Jinping's visit, Democrat Gov. Mike asks a very insightful question. When is the last time you heard that a mass shooter was faith filled? When was the last time you heard that a mass shooter believed in God? These mass shooters are always lost souls who are empty and filled with hatred. We need to turn back to God as a nation. We are reaping what we sow. Without God, we will have more hatred and more shootings. Mike talks to a caller who worked at the bank in Louisville where the shooting occurred in a very emotional exchange. The Biden administration predictably is calling for more gun control following the Louisville shooting. At least Democrat Gov. Andy Beshear didn't call for more gun control. According to an exclusive report by Yahoo News correspondent Michael Isikoff on Monday, the former president will face 34 class E felonies for falsification of business records in the case which revolves around the $130,000 payment of hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels by Trump's then-lawyer Michael Cohen ahead of the 2016 presidential election. Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing and called the probe a political "witch hunt." "If this report is correct, Trump will be arraigned tomorrow on 34 FELONIES. Each carries a possible prison term of 4 years. Bragg would not bring this case without strong evidence," she wrote about the Manhattan District Attorney leading the grand jury investigation, Alvin Bragg. "Remember, this is the same DA's office that recently convicted the Trump Org for criminal fraud." Bloom, who since 2015 has been a vocal critic of Trump and in 2016 represented pro-bono four women accusing him of sexual harassment or sexual assault, said she's convinced that the case against Trump is strong, going to the point of calling it "a prosecutor's dream" because there's a record of the former president giving conflicting versions of the story. Based on these premises, Bloom expects the 34 felony charges to be about Trump's attempts to "cover up evidence of an underlying crime, in this case the campaign nondisclosures." Most experts looking at the case against Trump expect the chance of Trump actually serving prison time if found guilty close to zero. The charges against him would also not disqualify him from running for the presidency in 2024. It's also uncertain whether Bragg would actually recommend Trump serve time in prison. The sentence will be eventually decided by the judge. https://www.cnbc.com/2023/04/04/jolts-february-2023-.html Job openings tumbled below 10 million in February for the first time in nearly two years Job openings fell below 10 million in February for the first time in nearly two years, in a sign that the Federal Reserve’s efforts to slow the labor market may be having some impact. Available positions totaled 9.93 million, a drop of 632,000 from January’s downwardly revised number, the Labor Department reported Tuesday in its monthly Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey. Wall Street had been looking for 10.4 million, according to FactSet. It was the first time vacancies fell below 10 million since May 2021. The Fed has targeted the red-hot labor market in its quest to bring down inflation, which had been running at a 41-year high in the summer of 2022. The central bank has raised benchmark interest rates nine times since March 2022, but those moves had been appearing to have little impact on the jobs situation. Prior to the February data, job openings had been outnumbering available workers by nearly 2 to 1. The latest figures bring that ratio down to less than 1.7 to 1. Treasury yields fell following the release as the data could help dissuade the Fed from further rate hikes. Stocks moved lower. “The labor market is starting to loosen as the number of job openings declined in most sectors. As the economy slows, firms will likely cut openings and workers will be less likely to quit in search of better hours and higher pay,” said Jeffrey Roach, chief economist at LPL Financial. “The Fed could consider pausing rate hikes at the next meeting but only if the upcoming employment report shows signs of material weakness and the March [consumer price index] report reveals lower inflation.” Though the numbers run a month behind, the Fed watches the JOLTS data closely for signs of labor slack. Along with the decline in job openings, hires and separations also decreased slightly. Quits, a sign of labor confidence in the ability to switch jobs, rose by 146,000 to just over 4 million. Professional and business services saw a slide of 278,000 job openings on the month, while trade, transportation and utilities decreased 210,000. Accommodation and food services, an important sector to gauge consumer demand, dropped 125,000. On the positive side, there were 129,000 new construction jobs available, though that was the only category that saw a noticeable bump. The JOLTS release comes three days ahead of fresh nonfarm payroll numbers for March. The Friday Labor Department count is expected to show a gain of 238,000, with the unemployment rate holding steady at 3.6%. https://www.dailywire.com/news/wisconsin-voters-head-to-the-polls-to-decide-balance-of-state-supreme-court Wisconsin Voters Head To The Polls To Decide Balance Of State Supreme Court Voters in Wisconsin head to the polls on Tuesday to decide the balance of the state Supreme Court in one of the most expensive court races in history. Neither candidate running for the open seat belongs to a political party. Conservative candidate and former Justice Dan Kelly, backed by most Republicans, is facing off against liberal candidate Judge Janet Protasiewicz (Pro-Tuh-Say-Witz), the preferred candidate of most Democrats, with the winner determining the ideological slant of the divided court and earning a 10-year term on the court. Protasiewicz has reportedly been backed by donations from left-wing billionaire George Soros and Gov. J.B Pritzker (D-IL), while Kelly has received support from groups like Fair Courts America, a conservative judicial organization. Total spending has exceeded $40 million, an astronomical amount compared to previous years when total spending was only around $10 million. Hollywood has even thrown its weight behind Protasiewicz, with director Steven Speilberg contributing to her campaign and actor Mark Ruffalo encouraging voters to “change the future of Wisconsin by electing Janet Protasiewicz & flipping the state supreme court.” Both candidates have suggested that the other is unfit to serve, with Kelly pointing to Protasiewicz’s left-wing ties and claiming she has a soft-on-crime sentencing history, while Protasiewicz linked Kelly to attempts to challenge the 2020 presidential election in the Badger State. During a debate earlier this year, Protasiewicz claimed that she was “running against probably one of the most extreme partisan characters in the history of the state.” Though officially non-partisan, the candidates have nearly polar opposite views, with Protasiewicz openly championing her support for abortion and Kelly receiving the endorsements of key pro-life groups in the state. Protasiewicz had an ad featuring a woman celebrating an abortion because the child could have been born with disabilities. The election could be a deciding factor in a case over Wisconsin’s 1849 abortion ban, which became relevant after Roe v. Wade was overturned last summer. The candidates could also play a key role in deciding the fate of other laws in the state, including election integrity measures, election maps, and gun laws. Last year, the state made a bombshell ruling, saying that Wisconsin voters could not turn their ballots into unmanned drop boxes and that voters would not be allowed to give them to others to drop off for them. This case, decided 4-3, would likely have been different with a different balance on the court. Republicans currently control the state’s general assembly, but Democrat Gov. Tony Evers won re-election in November, meaning lawmakers are limited in what laws they can get passed. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/restoring-america/fairness-justice/los-angeles-decarceration-release-inmates Los Angeles floats 'decarceration' policy to release large number of inmates The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is floating a "decarceration" policy that would drastically reduce the number of people in jails, releasing many current inmates. The agenda item , added to Tuesday's meeting, is titled "Los Angeles County to Take Actionable Next Steps to Depopulate and Decarcerate the Los Angeles County Jails: Granting Local Authority, Advocating for Court and State Support, and Legislative Changes." The proposal, to be discussed during the meeting, would "declare the State of mental health services and overcrowding in the Los Angeles County jails a humanitarian crisis, requiring the County to move with all deliberate speed on meaningful solutions; and prioritize decreasing the number of individuals entering the Los Angeles County Jails" through a number of measures. In order to "reaffirm the Board’s commitment to depopulate and decarcerate," the proposal would require law enforcement to "cite and release individuals with aggregate bail amounts set at $50,000 or below" and "adopt a zero-bail schedule for individuals accused of low-level offenses, infractions, misdemeanors, and some felony offenses." The push comes as crime, including violent crime, has risen in the past few years, particularly since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic . An analysis found that crime increased 11% in 2022, with 60 reported crimes per 1,000 residents, compared to 2021, which saw 54 crimes per 1,000 residents. In some areas, crime has skyrocketed; downtown experienced 372 crimes per 1,000 residents in 2022. The vice president of the Los Angeles Association of Deputy District Attorneys, Eric Siddall, denounced the proposal, speaking with Fox News, arguing that it would make crime in the city even worse. "The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors’ motion to gut parts of the criminal justice system without input from stakeholders is dangerous and recklessness," he told the outlet. "The authors sought no advice from those who know and understand public safety issues. They seek to lower the jail population without addressing the root causes of crime or protecting the public." He condemned the "catch-and-release" part of the proposal. Now this! https://www.theblaze.com/news/gone-with-the-wind-to-include-trigger-warning-intro-that-addresses-white-supremacy-in-latest-print 'Gone with the Wind' to include trigger warning, intro that addresses 'white supremacy' in latest print The publishers of the classic American novel "Gone with the Wind" will include a "harmful" trigger warning and an introduction that addresses "white supremacy," the Telegraph reported. Pan Macmillan, a publishing house based in London, has decided to affix a trigger warning to Margaret Mitchell's 1936 novel. The book, which takes place in 1861, follows the story of Scarlett O'Hara, the daughter of a southern plantation owner, and her romance with Captain Rhett Butler during the Civil War. The cautionary note at the front of the new edition of the book will warn readers that it contains "racist" themes that could be "hurtful or indeed harmful." "Gone with the Wind is a novel which includes problematic elements including the romanticisation of a shocking era in our history and the horrors of slavery," the trigger warning states. "The novel includes the representation of unacceptable practices, racist and stereotypical depictions and troubling themes, characterisation, language and imagery." Pan Macmillan noted that the new edition of Mitchell's novel would remain original. New editions of works from Agatha Christie and Ian Fleming were recently altered to remove potentially offensive passages with racial references. "The text of this book remains true to the original in every way and is reflective of the language and period in which it was originally written," the cautionary note continued. "We want to alert readers that there may be hurtful or indeed harmful phrases and terminology that were prevalent at the time this novel was written and which are true to the context of the historical setting of this novel." "Pan Macmillan believes changing the text to reflect today’s world would undermine the authenticity of the original, so has chosen to leave the text in its entirety." Pan Macmillan added, "This does not, however, constitute an endorsement of the characterisation, content or language used." The cautionary note affixed to the start of the novel was written by Philippa Gregory, the author of "The Other Boleyn Girl." According to the publisher, Gregory was chosen to pen the introduction because "we believed it was important that no author from a minority background should be asked to undertake the emotional labour of being responsible for educating the majority." Gregory argued that Mitchell's novel "effectively promoted the racist planter view of the history of the South." She claimed it "defends racism" and "glamorizes and preaches white supremacy." According to Gregory, "It tells us, unequivocally, that African people are not of the same species as white people." "This is the lie that spoils the novel," Gregory adds. All I can say to the publisher is, Frankly my dear… I don’t give a damn.

Based on these premises, Bloom expects the 34 felony charges to be about Trump's attempts to "cover up evidence of an underlying crime, in this case the campaign nondisclosures." Happy Tuesday everyone, This is Garrison Hardie with your CrossPolitic Daily News Brief for Tuesday, July 26th, 2022. I just like getting straight into the news, so let’s hop into our first story shall we? https://thepostmillennial.com/female-shooter-stopped-by-police-at-dallas-airport-before-anyone-else-was-injured?utm_campaign=64487 Woman opens fire at Dallas airport before police shoot, detain her A 37-year old woman opened fire at the Love Field Airport in Dallas, Texas on Monday at 10:59am and was immediately stopped by a police officer who returned fire and neutralized the female shooter. Police Chief Eddie Garcia said in a statement that the woman "gets dropped off, goes inside" and heads towards the Southwest ticketing counters. She went into a restroom where she changed her clothing, "put on some kind of hoodie," and then when she walked out " produced a handgun and began firing about this point." A police officer was already in the area and saw the woman, who Garcia said started shooting at the ceiling. The officer shot the suspect and hit her in "the lower extremities." "She's taken into custody and is currently in Parkland Hospital. No other individuals were injured in this event, other than the suspect". Fox News reported that police did originally respond to an active shooter situation but Garcia said this is "not an active situation." Dallas Police told local news that they were called to an "officer assist" at the airport and that crowds and travelers have been removed from the building. "We want to make sure our community knows that there are no other passengers, family members or people in the airport that are victims," Garcia concluded. The Federal Aviation Administration had a ground stop in place at the airport which primarily serves Southwest Airlines, its website states. https://bongino.com/white-house-tries-to-change-widely-used-definition-of-recession-ahead-of-economic-report White House Tries to Change Most Commonly Used Definition of "Recession" Ahead of Upcoming Economic Report Ahead of second quarter gross domestic product (GDP) numbers being released this Thursday, the Biden administration is looking to stray from how recessions are usually defined. The U.S. economy has already suffered negative GDP growth in the first quarter of the year, meaning that the economy is already in recession if Thursdays numbers show negative growth. Ahead of their release, the Biden Administration posted an article to the White House blog answering the question "What is a recession?" where they veer from the traditional definition; "While some maintain that two consecutive quarters of falling real GDP constitute a recession, that is neither the official definition nor the way economists evaluate the state of the business cycle." Naturally, many are interpreting this seemingly out-of-nowhere blog post as being to soften the blow of negative growth numbers this Thursday. It's also possible that the White House is well aware that there will immediately be articles proclaiming a recession on Thursday if growth is negative, and this enables the so-called "fact checkers" to say "not so fast" and limit the spread of that narrative. Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about the blog post, and if its purpose was to hedge bad economic news. "Is the White House trying to change the common definition of a recession? Because next Thursday, the GDP numbers coming out are going to show that we’ve been in recession," the reporter asked. https://rumble.com/v1djxjp-is-the-white-house-trying-to-change-the-definition-of-a-recession.html - Play Video What a bunch of hogwash… Yes, they’re historic numbers, because our economy was HISTORICALLY shut down by our government… Folks, don’t let woke corporations deal with your payment processing. Gretchen Whitmer Just Slashed Care For Pregnant Women From Michigan’s Budget Last week, Michigan’s Democrat Gov. Gretchen Whitmer vetoed funding for maternity homes, adoption tax credits, and other budget items that assist pregnant women. While post-Dobbs, Whitmer and her fellow Democrats seek to conceal the party’s pro-abortion agenda by pushing state courts to institute the extreme abortion regime they demand, in striking from the budget any spending that has a semblance of supporting the choice of life, Whitmer exposes her party’s abortion-first position. Democrats do not want the people to decide abortion policy, however, because they know the populace does not support their party’s extreme abortion-on-demand position, which is why in Kansas, abortion activists pretend a complete abortion ban is on the ballot. Likewise, in Michigan, rather than debate abortion policy and push for legislation to implement the public’s preferences, Whitmer has instead turned to the state Supreme Court to institute an extreme abortion regime through the Michigan constitution, while she and her fellow Democrats sidestep debates over limits on abortions. In fact, in announcing that she had asked the Michigan Supreme Court to expedite her lawsuit seeking a declaration of a state constitutional right to abortion, Whitmer used nearly identical language to that spoken from the abortion lobby in Kansas. “While politicians in other states rush to ban abortion, even in instances of rape or incest, Michigan must remain a place where a woman’s ability to make her own medical decisions with her trusted health care provider is respected,” Whitmer said in a press release. What Whitmer won’t tell the public, though, and what she and her fellow Democrats don’t want Michiganders to know, is that they want an abortion regime that permits abortion on demand for any reason until the moment of birth, paid for by taxpayers. And that is precisely what will be installed on the populace if the Michigan Supreme Court finds a right to abortion in the state constitution. Further, by using the Michigan Supreme Court to achieve this end, rather than the legislative process, Democrats can avoid the extremist label. But while Whitmer’s rhetoric and her use of the judicial system to achieve her ends may mask Democrats’ intent, her line-item vetoes in last week’s 2022-2023 budget make clear where the party stands on abortion, even if she prefers the courts provide the bottom line: It is not about choice or helping women; it is about abortion first. Whitmer’s stark strike-out from the budget of funds designed to help women choose life or to aid women who have chosen life says it all. The budget items she struck went much beyond assistance to pregnancy resource centers, which since Dobbs have strangely been in Democrats’ crosshairs. Whitmer actually struck $4 million allocated for maternity homes that provide “safe housing and comprehensive support services without charge for pregnant women who are without a safe home and in need.” Whitmer’s line-item vetoes likewise exposed the revolting truth that Democrats prefer abortion to adoption. Here, the Democrat governor struck $2 million in tax credits to adoptive parents and $10 million designed to provide factual information to pregnant women about adoption as an alternative to abortion, including the birth mother’s ability to establish a pre-birth plan. No amount of political posturing can overcome the reality seen in the black lines Whitmer used to cross out care for women and their children. And hide as they might behind activist judges, that budget tells the world Whitmer and her fellow Democrats don’t value women, or choice, or health care. They value abortion. https://www.foxnews.com/us/ghislaine-maxwell-moved-cushy-florida-prison-offers-yoga-pilates Ghislaine Maxwell moved to cushy Florida prison that offers yoga and Pilates Ghislaine Maxwell has been transferred to a cushy low-security federal prison in north Florida to serve out her 20-year sex trafficking sentence for procuring teen girls to be abused by her and late financier Jeffrey Epstein. The news comes after the arrest on back-to-back days of deported sex offenders. The chief reported his agents apprehended two more criminal aliens on back-to-back days in July. Brackettville Station agents arrested one of those, 61-year-old Jose Francisco Perdomo-Amador, a Honduran national, on July 12as he attempted to sneak past an interior checkpoint. During a records check, the agents discovered that a Dallas, Texas, court convicted the Honduran man in October 2017 for sexual assault. After being sentenced to a two-year prison term, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations officers deported him back to Honduras in 2021. The following day, Carrizo Springs Station agents arrested a Guatemalan migrant who illegally crossed the border from Mexico into Texas with a group of four other migrants. During processing, agents conducted a background investigation and found that a court in Orange County, Florida, convicted the man, Henry Oroxco-Miranda, 42, for lewd and lascivious sexual battery upon the elderly/disabled. The court sentenced him to four years in state prison. ICE officers deported him in 2015. The 100-meter hurdler romped to victory in 12.12 seconds to beat Kendra Harrison's 2016 world record by 0.08 seconds at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon Sunday. Johnson took exception to the times recorded in the stadium, in which 12 athletes of 24 in the semi-finals recorded their best ever times. The 54-year-old, who claimed four Olympic golds and eight World Championship golds in a stellar track career, took to Twitter after seeing how many athletes looked shocked at their own times. But he was immediately hit with a backlash, and fumed in response: 'The level of dumbassery coming across my feed right now is truly staggering! 'As a commentator my job is to comment. In questioning the times of 28 athletes (not 1 athlete) by wondering if the timing system malfunctioned. 'I was attacked, accused of racism, and of questioning the talent of an athlete I respect and predicted to win. Unacceptable. I move on.' Amusan became world champion in an even faster time later in the day at Hayward Field but the time did not count toward records due to a hefty tailwind. But fans on social media were not happy with Johnson for mentioning Amusan's world record, with one accusing him of 'black racism'. The Twitter user, calling himself Slim Daddy, wrote: 'Michael Johnson are you naturally this dumb or do you have to put in effort? 'Why don't you channel your energy to recovering from your stroke you Black racist! One Twitter user claimed Johnson - who now commentates for the BBC - might have been seeking revenge after USA were stripped of the 4x100m Olympic title in 2000 and Nigeria took gold instead. 'The US 4x400m team that had Michael Johnson was stripped of the Sydney 2000 Olympic gold medal because Antonio Pettigrew confessed that he doped during the competition,' the Tweet read. Happy Tuesday everyone, This is Garrison Hardie with your CrossPolitic Daily News Brief for Tuesday, July 26th, 2022. On today's Breitbart News Daily podcast, Joe Biden finally got something positive from his Presidency - a positive coronavirus test. The guy who campaigned for President on a promise to shut down the virus now has the virus, despite being quadruple vaxxed. The White House response to basic questions about how Biden got Covid is shocking. Then, we get into Left-wing political violence which has hit the New York gubernatorial campaign race. A deranged man was taken down while attempting to attack Republican Congressman Lee Zeldin. His opponent, Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul, told her supporters to show up on the morning of the attack. Then, Border Patrol chiefs are being abandoned by the Biden White House, the Left-wing news media is finally reporting on Biden's many failures, and I call B.S. on Van Jones speaking on behalf of Black Americans struggling in Biden's ecc conomy. Our guest today is Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL), who stopped by to give us the latest on House Democrats pushing yet another gun ban through that chamber and how the “assault weapons” ban bill – which is dead on arrival in the Senate - is nothing more than an empty virtue signal to the Democrats disaffected base. The Congressman also pointed how no-cash bail laws in New York resulting in the immediate release of Lee Zeldin's attacker is the best argument Zeldin could make to New York voters. Congressman Steube also offers up details on how a new GOP-led Congress will defund the Democrats' open borders agenda and how would could see primetime impeachment hearings for DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
New York is going weird, but not in a good way. Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul has declared “racism” a “public health emergency.” This comes after the board of health for New York City, in October, also declared “racism” a “public health crisis.” Is this what New Yorkers really care about? New York will be funding vending machines that dispense clean syringes for those “disproportionately burdened” by overdose. Again, New Yorkers, are you ready to spend $730,000 on that project alone? Rhode Island has created an interesting debacle in which hospitals allowed COVID-positive health care workers to go to work after firing unvaccinated staff. Good Morning, Colorado, you're listening to the Daily Sun-Up with the Colorado Sun. It's Wednesday August 18th. The chaotic end to the 20-year war is being felt here in Colorado. The state is home to thousands of soldiers and airmen, and as of April 40 troops from Colorado had been killed in Afghanistan. Today - We hear from local veteran and Democratic state representative David Ortiz. But before we begin, let's go back in time with some Colorado history adapted from historian Derek R Everett's book “Colorado Day by Day”: Today, we take you back to August 18th, 1989 when The Fort St. Vrain Power Station shut down. Conceived of in 1965, the nuclear power plant went online in 1976 and was plagued by issues and repairs for most of its life. Leaks, small fires, and other woes kept the station from meeting its potential and other nuclear disasters at three mile island and chernobyl resulted in the public's support for nuclear power to decline. Four years later, the power plant would reopen… this time using natural gas. Now, our feature story. As the Taliban takes control of Afghanistan after President Joe Biden ordered the U.S. military withdrawal from the country, the chaotic end to the 20-year war is being felt close to home. Colorado is home to thousands of soldiers and airmen, many of whom were deployed to the South Asian country in the past two decades. As of April, nearly 2,500 American troops were killed in Afghanistan, including 40 from Colorado and 95 who were stationed at Fort Carson. There are mixed feelings among those who fought for freedom and now are learning of the Taliban rule. Colorado Sun political reporter Jesse Paul interviewed local veterans, including Democratic state representative David Ortiz, who crash-landed in eastern Afghanistan in June 2012. To read Jesse's story about the Colorado veterans who served in Afghanistan, visit coloradosun.com And Before we go, here are a few stories that you should know about today: A new report by the conservation nonprofit American Forests found that trees are causing a shady divide in Denver. Wealthier, white communities had a fuller tree canopy, while lower-income communities and those with more people of color had fewer trees and hotter neighborhood temperatures, which can lead to heat exhaustion, heat stroke and other health issues. Planting more trees creates a more equitable living environment and improves public health, the report says. Gov. Jared Polis has asked the state's Board of Health to require that certain state health care workers get vaccinated against the coronavirus. This includes those who work in nursing homes, long-term care facilities, hospitals and surgical centers. The mandate is a shift from Polis' previously hands-off approach where he left vaccination requirements up to employers and local governments. If the Board of Health agrees, a vaccination will become a condition of employment. Money spent to persuade Colorado's elected officials hit a record high in fiscal year 2021. According to data from the Secretary of State's Office, nearly $44 million was spent by lobbyists to influence legislation, particularly health care and energy bills. That's up 32% from 2018 before Democrat Gov. Jared Polis took office and Democrats took control of the state legislature, and the party pursued an agenda often at odds with business interests. Two 157-year-old proclamations that led to the Sand Creek Massacre and death of 230 members of the Arapaho and Cheyenne tribes were officially rescinded by Gov. Polis on Tuesday. Gov. Polis called it “an ongoing process to make amends with the sins of the past.” For more information on all of these stories, visit our website, www.coloradosun.com. The Dennis Michael Lynch Podcast is 58-minutes on this Wednesday, February 16. DML focuses his program on the Democrats and how their policies and mindsets are destroying states, classrooms, and the great American experience. DML went deep into the state of New York and how Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo has gotten away with corruption time and again. But the table may be turning as his own party is now speaking out against him. State lawmakers, who are Democrats, are pushing back on Cuomo and the dishonest comments he is making about the COVID-19 nursing home scandal. In short, Cuomo is being called a liar by Democrats in his state. DML also reads a report from the state of Oregon where teachers are being told to read ab 82-page report that explains how they must review and change the way they teach math because it's racist. You can't make this stuff up. Somehow the state of Oregon believes things like 2+2=4 is a white supremacy equation. DML also dabbles a bit into comments made by RINO Jeff Flake, the former Republican senator from Arizona. Flake tells CNN that the Republican party is finished if it continues to embrace Trumpism. DML explains why this to be untrue. LISTEN

From cancel culture, coronavirus hypocrisy, police, and the national guard kneeling, Democrat Gov. and Mayors supporting anarchy, domestic terrorists like Antifa being ignored. All of which pushed by a biased propaganda mainstream media that social media call "fact-checkers." It's time to take the United States back from the madness. The major police associations are already supporting President Trump. Who will you support in November? Listen to more now.
