Meet my friends, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton! If you love Verdict, the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show might also be in your audio wheelhouse. Politics, news analysis, and some pop culture and comedy thrown in too. Here’s a sample episode recapping four takeaways. Give the guys a listen and then follow and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts. Radical Leftwing Violence President Donald Trump meets with the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and addresses the press on multiple issues. The hosts analyze Trump’s remarks, including his blunt assessment of rising left-wing violence and his warning that radical rhetoric from Democrats is fueling domestic terrorism. The discussion shifts to the U.S. economy, highlighting a surprising 3.8% GDP growth in Q2, record-high stock prices, and falling interest rates. Clay and Buck break down how lower mortgage rates could unlock the housing market and why economic growth—not spending cuts—may be the only path to balancing the federal budget. They also touch on Elon Musk’s prediction that AI-driven innovation could help offset ballooning deficits. Phony Comey The conversation zeroes in on James Comey, the former FBI Director, as reports suggest possible criminal charges for lying under oath before the statute of limitations expires. Clay and Buck revisit Comey’s controversial role in targeting General Michael Flynn and his history of aggressive prosecutions, including the Martha Stewart case. They stress the importance of accountability to prevent the U.S. from descending into “banana republic” politics. Autism and Tylenol Dr. Mehmet Oz, now serving as CMS Administrator under President Trump and HHS Secretary RFK Jr., joins the show to discuss groundbreaking developments in autism research, including promising results from leucovorin therapy for children and emerging concerns about acetaminophen (Tylenol) use during pregnancy. He emphasizes transparency in government health data and warns against overusing medications during pregnancy. The conversation explores the alarming rise in autism rates—now estimated at 1 in 31 children—and potential environmental and lifestyle factors, including allergies, chemical exposure, and older parental age. Dr. Oz underscores the need for urgent research and public awareness, noting that autism prevalence has increased fivefold in 25 years. Nerding Out with Ryan In-depth political analysis with guest Ryan Girdusky, host of It’s a Numbers Game. The discussion kicks off with the New Jersey governor’s race, where New Jersey Republican Jack Ciattarelli is gaining momentum against Democrat Mikie Sherrill. Despite Democrats’ historic voter advantage, recent polls show a tightening race, fueled by Sherrill’s controversies—including a viral debate stumble and a resurfaced Naval Academy cheating scandal from 1994. Girdusky explains how skyrocketing electricity costs, driven by data center energy demands, have become a top voter concern in both New Jersey and Virginia, shaping campaign strategies. The conversation shifts to Virginia’s gubernatorial showdown between Republican Winsome Sears and Democrat Abigail Spanberger. Sears is focusing on cultural issues like transgender participation in women’s sports and locker rooms, while Spanberger avoids clear answers, offering vague responses that Clay and Buck criticize as political double-speak. The hosts argue that Democrats in purple states often run as moderates but govern as progressives, warning voters about the stakes in these off-year elections. Next, attention turns to the New York City mayoral race, where progressive candidate Zohran Mamdani is the overwhelming favorite according to betting markets, despite a crowded field including Andrew Cuomo, Eric Adams, and Curtis Sliwa. Girdusky predicts Mamdani’s win could have national implications for Democrats in the 2026 midterms, as his far-left policies on policing and immigration could become a liability for the party’s brand. James Comey Indictment The episode centers on the claim that former FBI Director James Comey was indicted on two counts of lying under oath to Congress. Cruz and Ferguson argue that Comey falsely denied authorizing leaks to the press, while Andrew McCabe’s testimony and evidence suggest otherwise. They frame this as proof that Comey politicized and weaponized the FBI against Donald Trump. Comey’s public response is portrayed as political and deflective rather than factual. The discussion also touches on the statute of limitations, prosecutorial strategy, and the likelihood of conviction. Comey indictment sparks fierce political reactions nationwide Sniper Attack on Dallas ICE Facility (WATCH) The podcast also covers a violent shooting at an ICE facility in Dallas, described as politically motivated. Cruz personally recounts being on the scene shortly after the attack. The shooter is linked rhetorically to left-wing ideology and anti-ICE sentiment, with parallels drawn to other recent politically motivated shootings. The hosts criticize Democratic leaders for “demonizing” ICE and argue that their rhetoric fuels such violence. Political Framing The episode repeatedly frames these events within a broader narrative of political weaponization, left-wing hypocrisy, and anti-Trump bias. Cruz portrays Comey as a partisan actor, contrasting his own questioning of Comey with McCabe’s admissions. Violence against law enforcement is positioned as a consequence of inflammatory rhetoric by Democrats. Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now. On Thursday's Mark Levin Show, agitprop—a combination of agitation and propaganda—originates from Lenin's 1902 writings and implemented after the 1917 Russian Revolution to manipulate minds, control thoughts, and incite anger for societal control. The modern American Marxist Democrat Party adapts these tactics. The Democrats speak publicly in press conferences and talk shows to maximize impact, resulting in widespread violence on ICE agents and law enforcement, though they deflect blame onto guns rather than taking credit for their influence. Also, the media hates PM Benjamin Netanyahu just as they hate President Trump, while they praise quisling leaders who surrender to Islamists and Marxists, such as those in the UK, France, Australia, Spain, and Ireland. The media ignores criticisms of dictators like Egypt's president, Qatar's emir, Saudi Arabia's crown prince and Jordan's king, whose fake kingdom was created by Britain and has a history of violence against Palestinians. Without Netanyahu Israel might not exist. Later, in breaking news former FBI director James Comey has been indicted on two counts, making false statements and obstruction of justice. This is unresolved justice not retribution. Sen Ted Cruz calls in and lays out the case against Comey. Cruz details contradictory statements: Deputy Director Andrew McCabe claimed Comey knew and approved the leak to The Wall Street Journal, while Comey denied any involvement in sworn testimony in 2017 and 2020. One must be lying, constituting a felony – the DOJ evidence supports McCabe's account. Afterward, Josh Hammer calls in to discuss the Comey indictments and his last conversation with Charlie Kirk, which disproves Tucker Carlson's claim that Kirk was going to renounce his friendship with Israel. Finally, Peter Navarro calls in to discuss his new book, I Went to Prison So You Won't Have To: A Love and Lawfare Story in Trump Land. Learn more about your ad choices. And President Trump is still threatening to sue ABC in response to Kimmel's return. You know, the President of the United States sure does have a lot of time on his hands to threaten talk-show hosts, get his political opponents indicted by the state, and rant about… escalators, for some reason. What It's Like on the Gaza-Bound Flotilla Attacked by Drones

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, drones attacked a fleet of small boats bringing humanitarian aid to Gaza. The Global Sumud Flotilla, as it's known, is the latest group attempting to break Israel's siege on Gaza to deliver food and medical supplies. This week on The Intercept Briefing, host Jordan Uhl speaks to Tommy Marcus, who goes by Quentin Quarantino on Instagram, about the convoy enduring attacks on international waters as volunteers remain resolved to continue their mission to deliver aid to Gaza. “It's pretty jarring. I'm not going to lie. I'd love to put on this really tough, confident face and say I'm totally fearless. But I'm just a normal guy, and I'd expect and hope to live past 30,” says Marcus, who is among the roughly 500 volunteers in the convoy from 45 different countries. He adds, “There is truly no way to deter us, I suppose unless they kill us. But let's hope that doesn't happen.”Diana Buttu, the former legal adviser to the Palestine Liberation Organization and an analyst on issues related to Palestine and Israel, says Israel's blockade of all entrances to the Gaza Strip is illegal and that “Israel's attacks on these flotillas are similarly illegal.” Uhl spoke to the Palestinian human rights lawyer about Israel escalating strikes on Gaza as the U.N. met this week and more Western countries recognize the Palestinian state — a gesture she calls hollow.“This is an American Israeli genocide,” says Buttu. Donald Trump “could have easily ended this, but he's choosing not to.”“Everyone joined this mission because they're so horrified by the genocide unfolding in Gaza and also the inaction of all of our governments around the world," says Marcus.Listen to the full conversation of The Intercept Briefing on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you listen. On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show, the Democratic Party has violent origins and history and remains a violent entity today. Democrats promote violence through propaganda, fearmongering, and policies like allowing violent felons to vote, open borders that invite cartels and terrorists, and embracing Marxism and Islamism. The Democrats persist in labeling President Trump as Hitler, a dictator, and a threat to democracy despite two assassination attempts on him. This party trashes the Constitution, law enforcement and America's founding, while importing enemies, teaching revolution in universities, and using illegal immigration for political power. Also, Jimmy Kimmel's a fraud, phony, and selfish punk for making provocative, unfounded statements linking MAGA supporters and Charlie Kirk's TPUSA to a political assassination. This wasn't a free speech issue, as no government intervention occurred—unlike historical examples under presidents like Wilson or FDR—and a private company like ABC has every right to fire him for such remarks. Later, language serves primarily as a tool for communication. Pursuing and maintaining negative power involves negative communication techniques such as manipulation, deception, repetition, deceit, concealment, distraction, and fearmongering. This uses intimidating, self-serving, orchestrated language to arouse prejudices, stifle independent thought, and control populations without moral constraints, viewing morality as relative or an abstract cover for societal flaws. This is what the Democrat Party is doing today. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

The machinery of mass deportations has been operating both in plain sight and out of view since President Donald Trump took office back in January. As millions of people are being deported, thousands more are stuck in detention facilities across the country. In fact, the exact number of people in Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention right now is 58,766, according to ICE data. The vast majority have no criminal record, but the Trump administration is denying them bond at an astounding rate, forcing them to stay in dirty and decrepit detention facilities for months on end with no hope of getting their day in court. But aside from that, there's a lot we don't know about the immigration system, as it's operating right now. To discuss immigration policy in more detail, we spoke with Katie Blankenship, an attorney who represents clients navigating the immigration system. And in headlines, more than 100 countries at the United Nations General Assembly agree to mitigate climate change, sans the United States, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz clarified that Tylenol, is not in fact bad for you, and the federal government is asking scores of employees who lost their jobs (thanks to Elon Musk) to pretty please come back.Show Notes:Call Congress – 202-224-3121Subscribe to the What A Day Newsletter – https://tinyurl.com/3kk4nyz8What A Day – YouTube – https://www.youtube.com/@whatadaypodcastFollow us on Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/crookedmedia/For a transcript of this episode, please visit crooked.com/whataday Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. This week, Emily Bazelon, John Dickerson, and David Plotz discuss how Trump is using the powerful machine of government prosecution to reverse-engineer crimes supposedly committed by enemies, his diatribe against Tylenol at the disastrous press conference on autism, and the echoes of past Red Scares in today's free speech climate with historian Beverly Gage, author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning G-Man: J. Edgar Hoover and the Making of the American Century. For this week's Slate Plus bonus episode, Emily, John, and David discuss the debate around Trump's new $100,000 fee for H-1B visa workers: will it score points or be an own goal for US jobs?   In the latest Gabfest Reads, Emily talks with author and Yale professor Judith Resnik about her new book, Impermissible Punishments: How Prison Became a Problem for Democracy. They discuss the history of the prison system's use of punishments like whipping, how the practice came to an end, and more.   Email your chatters, questions, and comments to gabfest@slate.com. Ravi Gupta and guest host Stephen Webber, filling in for Jason Kander, break down Jimmy Kimmel's monologue defending a free press and his thanks to Republicans who stood up for him, as Trump escalates the fight with a Truth Social post promising to “test ABC out” while right-wing outlets like Nexstar and Sinclair continue their boycott. They analyze Tim Miller's sharp critique and the fallout from Charlie Kirk's assassination, including Trump's speech at the memorial, Kyle Tharp's report that Turning Point USA gained more than 30 million followers, and Oklahoma's mandate that every high school host a TPUSA chapter.
