On today's episode, Andy & DJ discuss the ICE agent who fatally shot Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis, Trump taking the U.S. out of 66 globalist organizations & treaties, and Kennedy's revamped food pyramid calling for less processed food.
On Thursday's Mark Levin Show, there's new information that contradicts what the Democrats and their media have been saying about Renee Nicole Good, the woman shot by an ICE agent. There's been an effort to portray her as a non-activist, but she was a Minneapolis ‘ICE Watch' ‘warrior' who was trained to resist the feds before the shooting. The Democrat party and their media are responsible for this shooting with their violent rhetoric. Also, Megyn Kelly and Tucker Carlson are the worst type of grifters. There are enemies to people of deep Christian faith, Jews, patriotic Americans supporting President Trump, and those opposing the rise of Islamism and Marxism in the country. These grifters, motivated by millions in profits from a niche audience, have abandoned their past personas to preach anti-Semitism, bigotry, racism, Christian-bashing, and America-hating, stabbing Trump and his supporters in the back while using Saul Alinsky tactics to target, personalize, and assassinate characters, often Jews. Later, 17 Republicans joined Democrats in a 230-196 passage of a three-year extension of expired Obamacare health care tax credits. This extension, unlikely to pass the Senate unchanged, imposes tens of billions in costs on taxpayers without systemic reforms, perpetuating inefficient, second-class government-run health care akin to Bernie Sanders' proposals. Afterward, Iran enforced a nationwide internet blackout as protests demanding the removal of the Islamic government and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei escalated across cities. Protesters chanted "Death to Khamenei" and "freedom, freedom." Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
Mea Culpa takes an inside look at alleged violent insurrectionist Ryan Nichols who has been detained for over a year pending trial. It's a chilling portrait of a man prepared to kill for Donald Trump's lies. Later, Michael welcomes back Frank Figliuzzi to discuss the larger threat assessment from right wing extremists and who's likely to talk amongst Trump's inner circle.

Michael Wolff joins Joanna Coles to unpack one of the most confounding political inversions of the Trump era: the moment when lying stopped being a liability and became a source of power. Wolff argues that while past presidents were undone by exposed falsehoods, Trump's credibility has never been weaker—and yet it has only strengthened him. Together, they examine how shamelessness, repetition, and brute insistence on an alternate reality have replaced truth as a governing tool, leaving institutions, media, and public protest strangely inert. From the collapse of shared reality to the media's inability to name what's happening in plain language, this episode digs into why transparent lies no longer undermine authority—and what it means when reality itself stops working as a check on power. Meet my friends, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton! If you love Verdict, the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show might also be in your audio wheelhouse. Politics, news analysis, and some pop culture and comedy thrown in too. Here’s a sample episode recapping four takeaways. Give the guys a listen and then follow and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts. Poor Choices and Chaos the fatal ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis that has sparked nationwide controversy. Clay and Buck dissect the incident where a 37-year-old woman allegedly used her vehicle to obstruct federal immigration enforcement, resulting in her death. They emphasize video evidence showing the ICE officer acted in self-defense, countering claims from Mayor Jacob Frey and Governor Tim Walz, who labeled the shooting as excessive force and called for protests. The hosts argue this tragedy reflects a deeper problem within the Democratic Party’s anti-law enforcement rhetoric, which encourages dangerous confrontations with federal officers. VP Vance Calls Out the Left Live White House briefing featuring Vice President JD Vance and Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who deliver a fiery defense of ICE and condemn the media for spreading “lies” about the incident. Vance asserts that the woman killed was part of a broader left-wing network aimed at obstructing immigration enforcement through doxxing, harassment, and even domestic terrorism tactics. He vows tougher federal action, including a new Assistant Attorney General role to prosecute those inciting violence against law enforcement. The briefing underscores the administration’s stance: enforcing immigration law is non-negotiable, and Democrats must stop rallying mobs against federal officers. Good News for MAHA Moms Guest Katie Zacharia joins to weigh in on the political fallout and broader implications. She highlights how sanctuary city policies and anti-ICE activism have fueled violence and fraud, citing California’s staggering $72 billion fraud scandal under Gavin Newsom and systemic failures in oversight. Katie calls for federal action, including suspending aid to jurisdictions violating the Supremacy Clause. The conversation shifts to California’s ongoing crises: wildfire recovery delays in Malibu and Pacific Palisades, where red tape and environmental regulations have stalled rebuilding efforts, leaving homeowners with plummeting property values. Katie also breaks down the proposed 5% billionaire wealth tax, warning it will accelerate the exodus of tech moguls and entrepreneurs from California while funding Medi-Cal programs strained by free healthcare for illegal immigrants. The hour also touches on RFK Jr.’s food pyramid overhaul and vaccine schedule changes, which have energized “Maha Moms” and even some liberal parents seeking reform in children’s health standards. Katie praises Trump for empowering RFK Jr. to challenge Big Pharma and promote healthier policies. Audience Talkbacks! Clay and Buck then pivot to lighter—but fiery—cultural debates, including regional cuisine hot takes and the “most overrated foods” in America. From Philly cheesesteaks and mint juleps to Puerto Rican Mofongo, the hosts don’t hold back, sparking laughs and listener engagement. They also revisit the nostalgia (and regret) of Jägermeister shots and Jägerbombs, contrasting them with underrated drinks like espresso martinis and sangria. The segment closes with talkbacks from listeners proposing which states or territories to “sell off,” adding humor to an otherwise intense news cycle. On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show, the Democratic Party deliberately ignores and rewrites immigration laws to import unassimilated illegal aliens from around the world. They use empty slogans on equality and affordability while destroying the nation. There are Somali immigrants in Minneapolis who cluster, have large families, fail to assimilate, and exploit the system. America is at a point of no return unless all of this is reversed under President Trump. The Democrat party and their media play a central role in violence against ICE. The Democrat governors and mayors, among others, using inflammatory rhetoric and yelling about resistance, not to mention several physically confronting ICE, have blood on their hands today. They've created a militant environment against ICE agents, smearing them as stormtroopers and alike, and turning ICE agents into physical targets in one city after another. There has been a campaign of organized and systematic violence against ICE in city after city, and the Democrat Party officials almost always and universally use the most provocative slogans to attack ICE. We don't have all the facts and we are looking at what videos are available, but we do know that you don't drive a vehicle at law enforcement -- literally within inches of at least one ICE official -- in a sudden burst when they are approaching the vehicle and talking to its driver. Later, in late 2025, the Islamic Tampa Area Muslim Professional Association (iTAMPA) was launched at a Florida Islamic school as a physician-led initiative to create a Sharia-compliant parallel healthcare system within Tampa's growing Muslim Brotherhood enclave. Tampa is positioned as a hub for Hijrah-driven migration, encouraging Muslims to relocate and build self-contained ecosystems encompassing schools, mosques, halal commerce, residential clustering, and healthcare to minimize dependence on non-Muslim systems. iTAMPA features a Muslim doctor directory, mentorship for generational succession, political engagement, and centralized Sharia governance via an Amir and shura council, aiming for fully independent Islamic communities replicable nationwide, as seen in models from Dallas, Chicago, and Detroit. Afterward, Salena Zito calls in to explain that real America exists offline. The left and some on the right mistakenly assume that opinions circulated and exploited on X represent the true mindset of election-deciding voters, which isn't true. There are 435 members of the House of Representatives — and after the resignation of Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene and the passing of California Representative Doug LaMalfa, the GOP's majority is down to 218. It's thin, even without discussing the number of Republicans that are going to leave office to retire, run for other positions, or just get away because being in Congress sucks right now. At the same time, Congress is struggling to get much done — whether it's about healthcare, the President's war powers, or more routine topics like permitting reforms. So what does all of this mean for Congress in 2026? To find out, we spoke to Burgess Everett. He's the Congressional bureau chief at Semafor. And in headlines, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer fatally shoots a Minneapolis driver in broad daylight, the Pentagon confirms it's reviewing the “effectiveness” of women in ground combat roles, and the Trump administration moves forward with its plan for Venezuelan oil.Show Notes:Check out Burgess's work – semafor.com/author/burgess-everettCall Congress – 202-224-3121Subscribe to the What A Day Newsletter – https://tinyurl.com/3kk4nyz8What A Day – YouTube – https://www.youtube.com/@whatadaypodcastFollow us on Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/crookedmedia/For a transcript of this episode, please visit crooked.com/whataday Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Congressman Seth Moulton joins Joanna Coles for a no frills, clear account of the Venezuela crisis — and why he believes the administration is lying to Congress at every turn. From chaotic briefings where officials dodge questions, to Republican colleagues privately admitting they would be outraged if a Democrat did the same, Moulton argues the United States has no real plan, only escalation. He connects the timing to distractions over healthcare premiums and the Epstein files, criticizes Democratic leaders for failing to level with voters, and makes the case for generational change, age limits, and his own Senate run — while warning that a weakened Congress and normalized “crazy” are far more dangerous than most Americans realize. Most law enforcement departments train officers not to stand in front of vehicles—or shoot at moving ones—but masked ICE agents in Minneapolis did just that after descending on Renee Good's Honda Pilot and spitting out conflicting instructions to her. Not only did the president of the United States lie about the condition of the officer who shot her, Vance and Noem disparaged the deceased 37-year-old mother of three. Meanwhile, Americans are not down with the idea of the US running Venezuela. And the manosphere podcast world, which helped Trump win the election, is now feeling disillusioned and embarrassed about his betrayal of his "peace president" promise—along with his handling of the Epstein files. Plus, a discourse on white people, a consideration of Epstein's influence with the rich and powerful, and a meaty exchange over Kamala courting the Liz Cheney wing while bypassing the left's demands on Gaza. In this episode, we tackle the explosive developments surrounding the recent shooting incident involving an ICE agent and a woman in Minneapolis. President Trump has called for an investigation into the movement of $700 million in cash out of the airport, while FBI Director Kash Patel announces a criminal investigation into the organizers of anti-ICE protests that escalated into violence. John Solomon breaks down the significance of these events, highlighting the FBI's new stance on prosecuting those who obstruct law enforcement operations during protests.Joining the conversation are former law enforcement officials Jonathan Gilliam and Art Del Cueto, who provide expert analysis on the shooting incident. They discuss the video evidence, the legal implications, and whether the actions of the driver posed a legitimate threat to the officer involved. Solomon emphasizes the tragic series of decisions that led to this moment, from immigration policies to local governance, and the responsibility of law enforcement to de-escalate situations whenever possible.Later in the episode, Bobby Charles, former Assistant Secretary of State, shares insights on lessons learned from international law enforcement training that could be applied to improve responses in critical situations like this. Jason Kander and Ravi Gupta break down the fallout from Trump's Venezuela operation as the president announces an oil deal following the capture of Nicolás Maduro, raising questions about coercion, profiteering, and global backlash from China and regional allies. They analyze Trump's claims about seizing billions in Venezuelan oil, the response from interim leader Delcy Rodríguez, and mounting fears of authoritarian crackdowns as armed militias flood Caracas under a sweeping emergency decree. Kander and Gupta also dive into Trump's revived push to acquire Greenland, unpacking Marco Rubio's closed-door comments, NATO alarm, and the administration's refusal to rule out military force. Plus, they discuss new scrutiny over Epstein-related DOJ delays, fresh data showing young men souring on Trump, escalating GOP infighting, and renewed attempts to rewrite the history of January 6. This week, Scott sat down with his Lawfare colleagues Benjamin Wittes, Natalie Orpett, and Molly Roberts for a special deep-dive into the intervention in Venezuela, including:“A Hop, Skip, and Jump Across the Rubicon.” This past weekend, the Trump administration took the step that Trump has been threatening for months: he deployed special operations to capture Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro and bring him to the United States for criminal prosecution. The targeted operation was only hours long and resulted in no American fatalities, though more than 70 people in Venezuela were reportedly killed. The Trump administration has described it as a “law enforcement” operation. But what was it really? And where did he get the authority to do it?“A Truly Extraordinary Rendition.” By Monday, Maduro and his wife were in New York being arraigned on an array of drug- and weapons-related conspiracy charges. But prosecuting a head of state—albeit one not recognized by the United States—presents certain unique challenges. How should we expect the criminal case to proceed? “Running in Place.” President Trump has asserted that he and his advisers are now going to “run” Venezuela. But he's left Maduro's deputy, Delcy Rodríguez, in place, in lieu of the opposition movement the United States and many other countries have recognized as Venezuela's legitimate government. Trump and his advisers seem intent on dictating terms to Venezuela through the “leverage” provided them by the ongoing quarantine over Venezuela's oil, and potentially the threat of additional military action. But can this light-touch strategy succeed? In object lessons, (notably Chicagoan) Natalie delights in her long-standing admiration of The New Yorker with Netflix's documentary “The New Yorker at 100.” Molly approaches Trump's takeover of D.C. golf courses with a pitch for Knotty by Nature's wooden putters. Scott honors the 5th anniversary of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol with a recommendation of Ellie Silverman's moving profile of Nathan Tate in the Washington Post. And Ben honors the same anniversary with both a revisiting of Lawfare's narrative podcast series The Aftermath, and, relatedly, a surprise interview by Holly Berkley Fletcher with one of the attack's most infamous perpetrators. The mayor of Minneapolis in the United States has strongly rejected the Trump administration's account of the fatal shooting of a woman by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in the city. Jacob Frey said video of the incident directly contradicted assertions by the White House that the agent had shot Renee Good in self defence. Hundreds of people gathered in protest at the site of her shooting, lighting candles overnight. Video shows she was shot as she drove off when ICE agents were trying to stop her. Also: President Trump has said that Venezuela has agreed to use the proceeds from the sale of its oil to buy only American-made goods. A study in Britain indicates that people who stop weight-loss jabs put the weight back on much quicker than if they'd lost it by dieting.
