In today's episode Elizabeth and Kevin discuss: -Why “If you are in your head your dead” -Why it is important to check on your feelings & spirit, not just mindset. -So many people do ‘shelf help' ie buy books and put them on the shelf. - Why every piece of growth and change feels uncomfortable, and it is important to go beyond your comfort zone, into your panic zone, to get into growth zone. - How you need to establish a core belief that you will reach your goal. - How to have a more exciting life: - Body - element of healthy food, water and lifestyle and work out what is right for you. Mind - Conscious mind - set goals is goal setter… subconscious mind is goal getter. Visualise (put the goal where you will see it eg you phone) Create a new belief system by speaking the words out loud. Spirit - Community is key - community builds our spirit. - What is the real key to success - Everyone above you wants to help you. Those around you and below you don't. - Why you should just ‘Keep going'. Consistency, Tenacity, Discipline. -How Elizabeth overcame an abusive relationship. - How Elizabeth had to go through 47 operations in a very short period of time, and felt like her life was over. And how she used this to surrender to her partner's masculinity and embrace her femineity. - Why you MUST learn how to receive business and life. -How her fire walking experience allowed her to go from being in a wheelchair to walking. It was a miracle and it changed her life direction. -Why you should say YES and figure out the details later Her life-changing questions: If is the answer, what question do I need to ask myself to get that answer? eg If getting the house is the answer, ho do I need to be to get this house? And much more… Resources mentioned in this episodeInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/elizabethannewalker_eawtc/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/eawtc Website: https://www.elizabethannewalker.com/evolve If you would like more insights on profit maximisation for your business, visit www.ProfitHive.com.au

Being a Mom is sacred. Sometimes we find ourselves wrapped up in what the world thinks we need to do. For as long as I have been a mom I have felt like I was both the problem and the solution. If only I could accomplish MORE, do more, be more, get more, make more, I'd be a better mom. Now, do you think God would say that to me? No, He would not. He would gently smile at me, pull me in for a hug, and say Elizabeth Anne, when you try and accomplish MORE, you are Shepherding them less. There is Holy Spirit Wisdom to glean from this conversation, It may not be what you expect, in fact, I hope it isn't. In this episode you'll hear:
Welcome to the "30 Days to Happiness" podcast, where we're on a mission to help you achieve personal breakthroughs and lasting happiness. Join us for an amazing conversation with our host, Elizabeth Anne Walker, a seasoned expert with over 25 years of experience in transforming lives and businesses. Here's a sneak peek of what we'll be discussing:
When Elizabeth Anne Watkins started her doctoral program, she landed a research role studying journalists' use of security and privacy technologies — but she found the security tools confusing and difficult to use. Today, as a research scientist in the social science of AI at Intel Labs, she advocates for other end users faced with understanding and working with new technologies. Elizabeth employs social science to understand the concerns of technicians performing complex chip manufacturing processes so that new AI systems will be developed to better serve those human experts. During this process, she also helps the technicians recognize AI's role as a supporting technology — even a coworker — rather than a human replacement. She joins this episode to discuss her role as a social scientist working in tech and some of the ways Intel is applying AI technologies like computer vision and natural language processing to improve semiconductor manufacturing processes. Archers Fandom and the Online Public Sphere Elizabeth Anne BaileyThis chapter considers some of the confluent factors which shape debate in the online public sphere the intersections between this and the practice of fandom generally and Archers fandom in particular. Situating fandom as a part of the wider online public sphere it considers its performative aspects, characteristics of online behaviour, the role of emotion and some of the hard-wired factors which underpin this. It concludes by identifying fandom as a learning experience, both in terms of changing attitudes towards storylines and the way we interact with each other when discussing them.Elizabeth has been an Archers listener for more than half a century. By day, she has held down a long and varied cross-portfolio career in national and local government policy and communications. Drawing on many of her experiences, she has recently published a book from a mid-life doctorate. In her chapter in this book, Elizabeth, who in real life is married to an actual Nigel, who spent a lot of the pandemic lockdown entirely safely on the roof of their home building a dormer window, explores some overlaps between an abiding academic interest in how people talk about politics and her Archers fandom.

Elizabeth is a Professor of Sociology and Chair of the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work at Nassau Community College. She is also Senior Strategist for Woodhull Freedom Foundation, the nation's only human rights organization working full time to protect sexual freedom as a fundamental human right. This experience and background made for a really interesting discussion, as Elizabeth had a ton of knowledge about the history of humanity and how we interact from a sociological perspective. The value she brought to the discussion was "openness", as in openness to consider other perspectives, explore things we don't understand, and generally just be curious about life. Elizabeth's belief is that there is a very direct and logical correlation between openness and well-being. Maybe the most interesting case study of this is Elizabeth's own story (covered in her recent book: Bound: A Daughter, a Domme, and an End-of-Life Story) of how being open to explore her own mother's sexuality allowed her to help significantly improve her mother's quality of life. We also spent some time delving into how openness plays out with the social issues we face today. We touched on topics like teaching kids about sexuality, religious freedom, and the impact of capitalism on society. One of the most interesting insights across all of these topics was the advantage "openness" provides. If the goal is to get to the truth then logically openness gives you the best chance to get there. Being open and curious gives you the chance to find the best solution, whereas closed-mindedness becomes extremely limiting. It doesn't mean your perspective or viewpoint is wrong, it just means you wouldn't know if it was because you've never actually been open to challenging it. I really enjoyed this conversation and think it touched on some fundamental aspects of human nature. Being open to other people's views, no matter what they may be, is hard for all of us--but that doesn't mean we stop trying. We have to challenge ourselves to care more about the truth than our personal agenda or ego.
