Aubrey has been lighting up screens and stages since childhood, getting her start as the Junior Beats version of Kiki on Nick Jr.'s The Fresh Beat Band and showing off her dance moves in Just Dance Kids 2. From there, she landed guest roles on hit shows like Kickin' It, Sam & Cat, Shameless, and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. Disney Channel fans will recognize her as Megan Simms from Austin & Ally, but Aubrey is best known for her starring role as Hannah Parker-Kent on the beloved Amazon Prime Video series Just Add Magic. Most recently, she appeared in The Thundermans comeback film, The Thundermans Return, and took creative control by creating, writing, producing, and starring in her own YouTube series, ME. On top of all that, she's made her mark as a singer with original tracks like Crossing My Heart and Lemonade.

Dee Wallace Live on Game Changers With Vicki Abelson Dee Wallace has been a literal life changer for me, let alone a game changer in the business of show and as a self-creation healer. We signed up for a session as soon as I got off the interweb tonight. I've been employing Dee's techniques since first we met at Women Who Write in 2011. I got refresher courses every time she came back to the living room and the numerous times she's guested on this show in its various incarnations. I realized today, looking back and listening to a couple of our past shows, that I've manifested almost everything I was working on with her guidance. A couple of desires remain, so tomorrow I'll resume in earnest the practice I've been somewhat lax with since I got happy. With close to 300 screen credits to her name, including The Howling, Cujo, 10, and most notably, her starring role in E.T. (I can't NOT watch it when I see it's on), Dee was more recently featured in the remake of Rob Zombie's Halloween, has made recurring appearances on 9 -1 -1, has 11 projects in post as I write, and another two dozen films and TV roles since last we met three years ago. Dee is indefatigable! Her countless television credits include starring roles in over twenty Movies of the Week and four hit television series, including Sons and Daughters, Grey's Anatomy, Cold Case, Without a Trace, Ghost Whisperer, a recurring role on My Name is Earl, and the Amazon young adult hit, Just Add Magic. We talked about pretty much none of them— other than a great story about E.T… Steven Speilberg, and Dee, using her tools and being in the moment. There's also a great story about Cujo, Dee's favorite role, and the film we're gonna hunker down with tonight, armed with a little new knowledge. What we did focus on was how to manifest what we want. Dee helped a listener get clarity to move forward, once again helped direct me, offered hope on the impending election, and how each of us can strengthen the collective consciousness on a daily basis. The hour is ripe with gems of practical application. Dee shared how it's worked and continues to, in her life… how the tools graced her with motherhood and now a beloved grandchild, and why she's as busy as ever - not at all slowed by her age, or the state of the business. Laya DeLeon Hayes talks "The Equalizer", growing up in the industry, her new film "The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster", and the time a casting director left the room in the middle of her scene! About Laya: Laya DeLeon Hayes currently stars opposite Queen Latifah on the CBS series “The Equalizer,” and is perhaps best known for voicing the titular role in the BAFTA, Emmy® and Peabody Award-nominated animated series, “Doc McStuffins,” which earned her a NAACP Image Award nomination. Hayes was just 9 years old when she booked the landmark role as the first Black animated character on Disney Junior. Laya recently won a BAFTA for her Supporting Role of Angrboda in Sony's God of War Ragnarök. Haye's additional television credits include “Just Add Magic,” “Liv & Maddie” and “Raven's Home,” in addition to guest-starring roles in “Cougar Town,” “Grey's Anatomy,” “Quantico” and “Code Black.” Hayes has established a successful voiceover career, garnering roles in “Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny,” “Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie,” and most recently, she voiced the Iron Maiden in the popular video game series League of Legends. Upcoming films include the lead role in "The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster" and a starring role in the independent film “A Southern Haunting” as Hany, the youngest sister in a family of recently freed slaves, opposite Imani Hakim. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas, Hayes participated in school plays and talent shows, which powered her passion to perform. She trained at Hart and Soul studio in Dallas prior to moving to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Hayes is an equal rights and social justice advocate and utilizes her social media platforms to spread awareness and to help propel conversation forward. Also, she is passionate about women's rights, body positivity and equality for all. Hayes has volunteered at the Indianapolis Children's Hospital to read to children and has helped feed the homeless at the Los Angeles Mission. She's participated in several anti-bullying campaigns, including Say-NO Bullying and Free2Luv, and walked the runway in the Grace Rose Foundation annual fashion show to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis. In her free time, Hayes enjoys rollerblading, baking with her friends and family, fashion, singing, traveling and sketch drawing. She loves theater, watching movies and creating films and videos. In the future, she hopes to develop, write, direct and produce her own projects. Matt Goldman is a New York Times bestselling author and Emmy Award-winning television writer and producer. He has been nominated for a Writer's Guild Award, the Shamus Award and the Nero Award. Matt's television writing credits include Seinfeld, Ellen, Love & War, Working, Three Sisters, Level Up, Just Add Magic, The New Adventures of Old Christine and Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. He served as a consulting producer on Fox's Luis, Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place, CBS's Gary Unmarried and Amazon's Just Add Magic. Matt's first novel, Gone to Dust, was published in the summer of 2017. Cindy Callaghan is an award-winning middle-grade writer best known for Just Add Magic, which was developed into an Emmy-nominated Amazon original series now distributed world-wide via Nickelodeon.    Her book Saltwater Secrets, which is pitched as “Big Little Lies for tweens,” has been acquired by a major studio. In addition to those, she has five well-loved “Lost in…” books, Sydney Mackenzie Knocks ‘Em Dead, The Girl Who Ruined Christmas, and My Big Heart-Shaped Fail. Her niche, if you haven't guessed, is middle-grade.   Cindy is unique in that she straddles the book and screen worlds. We had a great conversation with actress Samantha Bailey on The Chris & Sandy Show. We talked about so many things from acting, sacrifices, family, she told some great stories to a whole lot more. Most recently, you can see her starring in the new feature film One Night in San Diego as Bennett. Samantha recently won Best Actress in a Comedy Series at the LA Live Film Festival and her series Jammin Across the USA was awarded Best Comedy. A member of the Sorority Girlz, an all female content creator collective, Samantha collabs with her fellow members reaching their more than 3.2 million fans on their TikTok and other channels.

This week on the show, we chat with Wallace about her career, her roles in E.T. and Cujo, her new role on the Amazon Original series Just Add Magic, which film she's proudest of, breaking new ground as one of the first single mothers depicted in film, her own mother, and much more.

Channing and I recently had the chance to celebrate the release of season 2 of the Amazon Prime Original series Just Add Magic and we were caught under its spell. I had the pleasure of interviewing the cast at a launch party for season 2 at Au Fudge in West Hollywood. (Photo by Todd Williamson/Getty Images for Amazon) Just Add Magic stars Kelly (Olivia Sanabia) and her two best friends Darbie (Abby Donnelly) and Hannah (Aubrey Miller) as they stumble upon a mysterious cookbook. They quickly discover that the recipes inside are far from ordinary. They are magical! The girls realize they need to use them to release Kelly's grandmother from a powerful curse. What struck me most when I met the girls is how much they have grown up! In season one they are all about 9-12 years old.  Now they are in their tweens and very excited to be a part of Just Add Magic and see where their characters go.                         We talked about their friendship on the show and in real life as well as what projects they're working on next. In season 2 of Just Add Magic we meet an old enemy missing since 1965 as he returns to Saffron Falls and he hasn't aged a day. The girls have to put their "no magic" summer of fun on hold to protect the cookbook from falling into the wrong hands.  I really like this show. Not only because it captures that spirit of friendship and the wonder of magic, but because it showcases 3 strong female characters and is a great example for young girls. You go Amazon! (Photo by Todd Williamson/Getty Images for Amazon) The kids were dressed in chef hats and Just Add Magic aprons to get into the spirit. Then they decorated them in the most beautiful pastel pearls and sprinkles. Of course my girl covered her cake in sprinkles. Channing's favorite part was watching an episode of the show and of course eating her cake!
