Great to catch up with Rich and Marc Moore from SOURCEBMX who are out in the US and came over to the house for a catch-up and a Podcast. It's amazing to see what the boys have done with SOURCEBMX from their early race days to opening their first BMX shop and now to what they have grown SOURCEBMX into, which is a globally respected and successful company in the BMX World and they do it with the same passion they have for BMX. We hit on the early days of Rich and Marc discovering racing, the Bexhill / Hastings scene looking up to Keith Duly (@jump_club) as the local race legend and working with him today with Jump Club and the rebuild of the local Bexhill track that should be complete in the next few months. We chat about some of the competition the brothers raced against from Kelvin & Liam Batey, Marcus Bloomfield, Peter Fieldhouse, Laurence Mapp and Stephen Murray along with some of the teams they rode for. Rich talks about all the BMX Media he has done over the years shooting for magazines and testing products. Marc talks about placing 3rd at the 98 Worlds, spending time in the US working at Profile and opening a BMX shop after returning from the States. We talk about SOURCEBMX, the growth over the years, getting in early on online sales, Warehouses in the UK, Kentucky, and Germany with over 70 employees in addition to sponsoring teams and riders including Kelvin Batey, Kye Whyte and Shanaze Reade during the early days. We touch on the SOURCE Park, The Battle of Hastings, events, some of the brands they work with, the future, getting more involved in BMX RACE and so much more. Great chatting with the boys and I personally want to thank them both for supporting everything I do in BMX from teams, to grassroots programs and basically anything I have told Rich I'm involved in - he responds with, "Yep, we're in". They are a breath of fresh air in the BMX industry to work with and great to hang out with. Cheers and hope everyone likes the Pod. SOURCEBMX.COM @sourcebmx @thesourcepark @sourcebmxrace

You need to slow down in order to speed up & what I mean by that is that it's perfectly healthy to take a break. Not only that but it's in our best interest to find ways to recharge our body + mind throughout the week. Think of us like rechargeable batteries, at some point we're going to run out of energy and we need to stop to recharge back up to 100%. Whether that's getting a few extra hours of sleep than we normally do, taking an ice bath, watching a movie at the end of a long week, we need to prioritize our recovery. Today we're going to dive into 9 ways that I recover which help me feel better than ever, let's fire it UP! 9 Ways to Recover Your Body + Mind (1) Prioritize your sleep and make sure you're getting enough so that you can feel your best self on a daily basis. (2) Commit to a 100% clean diet for the short term, it will make all the difference in how you and your body feels. (3) Take breaks from both alcohol and drugs when needed. You're in control for how long that break is but see what one, two or even three weeks feels like. (4) Use cold or hot therapy to reset, it will help tremendously. (5) Binge entertainment you enjoy because it's completely healthy to take a break and relax. (6) Sit in stillness and use the time to to learn, grow & motivate you for the future. (7) Get the body moving and the juices flowing. Giving it 25% of what your normal 100% feels like could be a good recovery session. (8) Put down the phone and take a break from emails, texts & social when you feel the need to do so. (9) Fuel your body with the proper hydration by making sure you're drinking enough water in a given day. It will have a huge impact on your recovery and wellbeing. Challenge for the listeners Spend 10 minutes within the next 24hrs and consider what you do to recover your body and mind. I'm not here to tell you that you MUST do it daily or weekly but I can guarantee your body and mind would benefit from some type of recovery. Consider the 9 ways we discussed today and think about the ones that come to mind that maybe I didn't discuss. Prioritize them and add them into your life as needed, I guarantee it will make a difference. Questions from the Stay Dialed In community Alicia : How does your night routine look like? The “Born in ‘87” Pod is Back! It's an emergency pod because the man that tormented us as Jets fans for over 2 decades, Tom Brady, is finally gone (hopefully). Adam and Justin debate how much Brady truly tormented the Jets versus the Jets just being an inept franchise (0:30), and what Brady's retirement means for the Jets and our psyches as fans. Also, with Brady and Roethlisberger now gone, it feels like an NFL leaf has been turned, and we discuss where we think Zach Wilson could potentially end up in the NFL (and particularly the AFC) QB hierarchy. Welcome back to A Pod of Their Own, a show by the women of Amazin' Avenue where we talk all things Mets, social justice issues in baseball, and normalize female voices in the sports podcasting space. This week, we begin by chatting about Keith Hernandez's number retirement—a further indicator of a shift toward more inclusivity on the part of the Mets when it comes to retiring numbers and a hopeful sign that David Wright will be next in line. We also discuss a few other Mets tidbits, including Zack Scott's not guilty verdict in his DUI case, Brandon Nimmo changing agents, and the latest reports about the moves the Mets may (or may not) make after the lockout. Next, we talk about the latest developments on talks between the league and the MLBPA, which are still far from a resolution. We also discuss Hall of Fame Voting Discourse, which has reached a fever pitch in the last year of Bonds and Clemens' eligibility for the ballot. Finally, we wrap things up with Walk-off Wins, where each of us talks about what's making us happy this week, baseball-related or otherwise. You can listen or subscribe to all of our wonderful Amazin' Avenue Audio podcasts through Apple Podcasts, where we encourage you to leave a review if you enjoy the show. It really helps! And Dr. Ayana Flewellen and Dr. Justin Dunnavant discuss how black archaeologists began uncovering sunken slave ships. (00:02:26) What parts of Archaeology as we know it should be preserved? Hershall, I give my complete apologies up front. As ofttimes (kjv sounding word) happens on this Podcast, we had a service that I could not, or shall I type DID NOT, close soon enough. We did have some monumental things take place before our Deacon's Boots walked off of the righteous path and returned to the beggarly (another kjv sounding word) elements of his past. We made history with our first official sponsor on Pod'N Me. Hopefully the product will be of use to our men that care about their spouses. We also started with the most in depth Hamburger Assembly debate possibly ever taken place on the airwaves. We had some good feedback included in the mix as well. Speaking (or typing) of feedback, send us some if you'd like to devin@podnme.org and find us on Instagram @podn_me. Enjoy (if you can)!

Rosalie in Paris Get your little berets and stinky cheeses ready for the latest PYAG. Comedian and actor Paul Palmeri joins Matt and Vince to talk about the Frenchest episode of The Sopranos, season 6A episode eleven, “Cold Stones.” Paul, a self-described AJ-type, is a fitting guest for this AJ-heavy episode. After he gets fired from Blockbuster for loving the environment too much to let the promotional standees go unsold, Tony gets AJ a construction job. Framed as consequences for his poor decision making, Paul encourages AJ, and anyone listening, to cherish the opportunity to work outside and build things. Working inside and sending emails all day might not be physically demanding, but it will erode your soul in a way that young AJ will never understand. Imagine AJ in a conference room trying to learn scrum methodology or lean principles. Best case scenario: he's a better project manager for a suicide attempt. As much as all the dumb guys running this podcast love our dumb guy king AJ, this is a Rosalie Aprile episode. She's in Paris showing the rest of us how to do a vacation. Get hit on by a hot young French person, buy some stuff, don't poop, light a couple candles, and if your friend Carmela tries to kill the vibe by bringing up old trauma, kindly but firmly instruct her to shut the f*ck up. This is Paris, not therapy, you stunad. Eat a croissant and take some pictures you'll never think about again. Leave dead family members where they belong — New Jersey's Belleville. Post in comments section of this video!About This Video:In this episode of Apparel Success, Rob talks about why most clothing brand startups fail. Most clothing brands fail because they are unable to create a "perfect storm" for their business. There are so many things to learn as a clothing brand owner: social media marketing, instagram marketing, facebook ads, inventory management, design, photography, tiktok, email marketing, etc. Usually the business owner is really great at one or two of these things - but not all of them. This leads the brand to being created with a lack of balance lacking in important areas. This video applies to your clothing brand, clothing line, fashion brand, streetwear brand, t shirt business, print on demand (POD), dropshipping and beyond!

This episode may be triggering so we wanted to remind you to observe your feelings as you listen. On this episode of Heal Sh*t podcast, Tiffany and Lo have a transparent conversation about being teen girls and being raised by single moms. We talk about the tension that sometimes exists between mothers and daughters and how that tension taught us lessons in love, grace and compassion. We highlight points in our teen years (while in high school) where we were especially unkind and how we recognized the need to be better. This episode might feel heavy but we hope you are able to listen to it with love, understand the message and see ways in which you can either navigate your relationship with your daughter differently or even go back and give your mother the grace you did not give her for making mistakes as a present parent. A mí no me importa demasiado. —¿No te afecta? —No exactamente —dijo Julio—. Solo soy aficionado. —Todos somos aficionados —contestó Susana con una sonrisa. «No es la primera vez que escucho eso», pensó Julio. «Estoy empezando a creerlo». —Brindemos por los aficionados, entonces —dijo Julio. Glossary gusto: taste. importar: to care, to mind. demasiado: too much. piedra: stone. alimentar: to feed.

EPISODE 263: Andrew 'Why Not' Shaw returns to join Rey for a chat about his favourite Moon Knight classic comic - SEGMENT: LUNAR-PICK - CLASSIC COMIC BOOK REVIEW MOON KNIGHT VOL. 1 #26 - “Hit It” Released August 31st 1982 Writer(s) Doug Moench Penciler(s) Bill Sienkiewicz Inker(s) Bill Sienkiewicz Colorist(s) Christie Scheele Letterer(s) Joe Rosen Editor(s) Denny O'Neil “The Cabbie Killer” Writer(s) Denny O'Neil Penciler(s) Keith Pollard Inker(s) Keith Pollard Colorist(s) Christie Scheele Letterer(s) Janice Chiang Editor(s) Denny O'Neil BARE BONES (Written by Rey): HIT IT An unnamed man reads some disturbing news in the obituaries and begins a path of terror to the funeral parlour. Anyone and everyone in his way is battered, bruised and bleeding and the violence doesn't end even at the destination. The man beats on the priest there who is giving a service for the recently deceased. It is revealed to be the man's father - a father who piled abuse on the man all throughout his life. It's breaking point, and the man can't help but feel cheated - cheated for not being able to exact vengeance on his own father, for inflicting the cruelty of his childhood. Moon Knight catches up with the man, after following the trail of blood, and the man goads Moon Knight - then almost pleads - for the Fist of Khonshu to hit him. Not wanting to, Moon Knight finally relents…having to defend himself from the man's onslaught towards him. The man is beaten unconscious, and Moon Knight is left with an awful feeling in his gut… a feeling produced from not being able to show the necessary restraint. THE CABBIE KILLER Someone is blowing up cabs for an unknown reason, and Jake Lockley is very nearly one of the casualties. Brought to Marc's attention, Moon Knight scours the city in the hope to learn more. From some inside information, Moon Knight checks out a poker game in a cemetery, where some of the city's crime lords get together to play in peace. Moon Knight beats the guards before entering the crypt where the poker match is held. Zilko reveals that it was he who employed an assassin to destroy a cab with sensitive information relating to his seedy activities. As the exact cab is unknown, Zilko has employed Commodore Planet ( a huge hulking man) to blow up as many cabs in the city, in the hope of destroying the evidence. Moon Knight takes Zilko by impersonating a cabbie, and discovers that Commodore Planet is by Pier… Moon Knight incapacitats Zilko then meets Commodore Planet for a final showdown. Planet proves to be difficult, having succumbed to some strength enhancing drugs..but Moon Knight is able to ultimately defeat him with a good double kick to the head. Having fallen overboard and entangled in net, Moon Knight deliberates whether to save him or not, but then yields to doing the right thing. He brings Commodore Planet back onto the pier, where the police will eventually find and arrest him. MOON RATING : Andrew:

And You May Find Yourself in Johnny Sack's House Lend us your ears, ye piggies. Matt and Vince are joined by writer, host of the Hysteria podcast, and Janice Soprano apologist Erin Ryan, to talk about episode 10 of The Sopranos season 6A, “Moe n' Joe.” The episode, written by Mad Men creator and father of M. Holden Weiner, Matthew Weiner, features both a recreation of Led Zeppelin album cover using Sal the lawnmower man, and visual gag using a model train entering a tunnel as a metaphor for gay sex. This Weiner is a mad man indeed. Tony Soprano is both a man and mad at all times. This week he's mad at Bobby for Janice reasons, at Janice because she's Janice, and at Johnny Sack for talking about that thing of theirs to the prosecutors. The result is a rare combination of spite and grace to screw Johnny out of his house and give it to Janice. At least Janice, and by extension, Erin get something they want. Another thing Erin wants: to warn Gen Z about the perils of bringing back Y2K fashion. If you can hear her words over the sound of your puka shells rustling and your Slipknot track jacket swishing, please heed her warning. Tell Matt what you think about his Mickey Mouse impersonation in a five-star review on Apple Podcasts. Subscribe to Pod Yourself A Gun on Apple Podcasts.
