Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins joins the Rundown to unpack why beef prices are so high, and what the Trump administration is doing to try to help both consumers and American beef industry. Rollins also explains the concerns of soy bean farmers and why she says millions of SNAP households will be harmed if the government is still closed on November 1st. Later, FOX Senior Congressional Correspondent Chad Pergram joins to give the latest developments from Capitol Hill and the government shutdown and the debate among lawmakers over the President's crackdown on drug traffickers. Peter Navarro, a senior advisor to President Trump, has little sympathy for James Comey and John Bolton after they were indicted for allegedly lying to Congress and mishandling classified information. While Navarro was arrested in public by armed FBI, Comey and Bolton are getting scheduled surrenders and luxury treatment. The Biden DOJ prosecuted Navarro in 2022, sending 5 armed FBI agents to arrest him in an airport, shackle his legs, and jail him for 4 months. Navarro says he became the “first ever top presidential aide in US history to be put in federal prison for defending the Constitution” and an example of lawfare being used against political enemies. Brad Thayer joins Navarro to discuss prison system corruption, tariffs, and the CCP's brutal economic warfare with the USA. Peter Navarro, PhD served as Senior Counselor to President Trump for Trade and Manufacturing. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University and is Professor Emeritus of Economics and Public Policy at UC–Irvine. Vice President JD Vance is “scarier in certain ways” than President Donald Trump, according to former White House press secretary Jen Psaki. Vance is “young” and “ambitious,” Psaki said on the leftist political podcast “I've Had It,” adding that the vice president is “agile in the sense that he is a chameleon who makes himself into whatever he thinks the audience wants to hear from him.” Psaki also took a swipe at first lady Usha Vance, indicating she might not be happy in her marriage. “I always wonder what's going on in the mind of his wife,” Psaki said. “Like, are you OK? Please blink four times. Come over here. We'll save you.” While in Israel with the first lady, Vance was asked about the comments and called them “disgraceful,” adding, “but of course, the second lady can speak for herself. I am very lucky to have a wonderful wife.” Psaki's comments on Vance are telling. The next presidential election is over three years away. It is no secret that Vance is thought to be a top contender for the Oval Office position, and so the talking heads on the left are already priming their base to despise him. On this week's edition of “Problematic Women,” we discuss the left's fear not only of Vance, but the broader policies of the Trump administration. Also on today's show, there is no end in sight to the government shutdown, but Trump is staying busy with construction of the White House ballroom well underway. And the New York City mayoral election is around the corner, with crime and housing prices taking center stage. All this and more on this week's show! Today, we'll hear how global oil traders are responding and what it could mean for consumers at the pump. Then, from Marketplace's "How We Survive," we'll learn about the climate impacts of factory farming.
From the BBC World Service: President Donald Trump has abruptly cut off all trade talks with America's northern neighbor. Trump was responding to an anti-tariff ad paid for by the province of Ontario, which featured a clip of former President Ronald Reagan speaking negatively about tariffs. About three-quarters of Canada's exports go to the U.S.; many now face a 35% Levy. Plus, it's been a turbulent week for gold prices, but what's causing the recent downturn?
Today on Mea Culpa, I welcome back my friend Joe Walsh, former Republican Congressman, host of The Social Contract with Joe Walsh, and fierce Trump critic. We break down Trump's destruction of the White House's East Wing to build his billionaire ballroom, the hypocrisy of a government shutdown while he enriches himself, and Trump's gluttonous move to demand that the DOJ give him $230 million in damages for past cases. We also discuss the rise of Christian nationalism, Congress's collapse as a check on power, and how courts are handling Trump's orders to deploy the National Guard in American cities. From fake populism to full-blown authoritarianism, this episode confronts what happens when democracy is left undefended. [00:06:28] – ICE's Domestic Surveillance EmpireKnight exposes ICE's $1.4 billion surveillance expansion under Trump's “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.” He details contracts for facial recognition, smartphone spyware, and nationwide license plate tracking through private firms like Flock Safety—arguing it merges corporate spying with state power to create a total surveillance grid under the illusion of border security. [00:14:31] – The Antifa Pretext for Total ControlKnight explains how Trump's executive order designating Antifa as a terrorist group became the legal precedent for labeling political dissent as terrorism. He says both parties now exploit “terror” labels to justify domestic warfare against citizens and erase due process under the banner of national security. [00:33:26] – Chaos Economics & Argentina FirstKnight blasts Trump's contradictory trade policies—tariffs, bailouts, and central planning—that reward Argentina while destroying American markets. He argues Trump's policies prove that “America First” has morphed into “Argentina First,” serving foreign economies at the expense of U.S. farmers and sovereignty. [00:59:11] – Local News RevolutionKnight interviews YourNews.com founder Sam Anthony about rebuilding journalism from the ground up. The platform empowers citizens to publish and monetize local reporting, creating a free-speech alternative to collapsing corporate media monopolies. [01:53:21] – AI Abuse & Technocratic SlaveryKnight reveals that AI firms exploit cheap foreign labor to label violent and graphic images for training datasets. He calls it the “digital sweatshop of the technocracy,” arguing that elites are building artificial intelligence on human suffering while preparing to enslave the public under digital IDs and algorithmic control. [02:04:12] – Gold Chaos & The Silver ShortageTony Arterburn joins to discuss gold and silver volatility, India's silver crisis, and central banks hoarding precious metals. They frame the metals market as a barometer of global instability, arguing that physical assets remain the last defense against fiat collapse and digital currency tyranny. [02:49:40] – Europe's War Fever & The Coming CollapseKnight exposes NATO and EU plans for a war with Russia by 2028, calling it “government-assisted suicide.” He argues Western elites are manufacturing war to distract from economic collapse and civil unrest, while globalists like Steve Bannon fantasize about a permanent Trump regime to manage the chaos. Episode 359 of Independent Americans with Paul Rieckhoff (@PaulRieckhoff) delivers an unflinching look at the crisis facing the Democratic Party and the state of American politics. Former DNC Chair Jaime Harrison joins Paul for an urgent, candid, and often funny conversation about the future of the Democrats, the failure of leadership on both sides, and how to fight back against extremism without losing our humanity. From the toxic culture of cable news to the erosion of civility in Washington, Paul and Jaime cover it all—authenticity, fatherhood, faith, and what it means to model leadership for the next generation. Harrison opens up about his time running the DNC, the frustration of rule-followers in an age of chaos, and why the Democratic brand is in real danger. They dig into strategy, messaging failure, rising independent voters, and the crucial fight for 2028. And because it's Friday, the conversation closes with sports—NBA predictions, college football picks, and why being a Knicks fan feels an awful lot like being a Democrat in 2025. This must-listen conversation is sharp, thoughtful, and necessary for anyone trying to make sense of American politics right now. As President Trump prepares for a week of international travel, his administration is zeroing in on crime both at home and abroad. The President says the U.S. has authority to strike drug-running boats from Venezuela and is considering National Guard deployments in more major cities to combat violent crime. Shannon Bream, Fox News Sunday anchor and host of the Living the Bream podcast, joins the Rundown to discuss the administration's plans and the legal hurdles ahead. Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups and Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier were arrested Thursday as part of a federal investigation into a mafia-linked illegal gambling probe. The allegations, which included rigged poker games and sharing inside NBA information to sports bettors, have raised questions about the integrity of the NBA and the dangers of legal sports betting. Dan Dakich, host of Don't @ Me on OutKick.com, joins the Rundown to discuss concerns over high-earning professional athletes fixing prop bets, the NCAA's recent decision allowing college athletes to bet on pro sports, and how increased regulation is helping detect and prevent betting manipulation.
