Not to be confused with Episode 5 of our dear podcast, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.The heroic journey is undertaken once more, and our favorite heroes and all their early-Nintendo snark are ready to save the castle from Mack... I mean, Claymorton, and Smithy. With the help of Frogfucius and his KeroKero Cola... I mean, Frog Sage and Croaka Cola...Ok, so there are definitely SOME things that changed, but overall? Like 95% the same game, and that 95% is glorious, and of the changes, beyond the renames, we got our very favorite thing... QUALITY OF LIFE improvements! This week, Mike, Johnny, and Kim Discuss: This week, Capcom revealed a showcase focused on their new upcoming game Dragon's Dogma II. We took a close look at the showcase, and give our reactions to everything revealed. Dragon's Dogma II is the sequel to 2012's Dragon's Dogma; however, it takes place in a "parallel world" and so seemingly makes it uneccessary to play the first game to enjoy the second. Dragon's Dogma II is slated to release on March 22, 2024, and will be Capcom's first forray into the $70 price point for one of their titles. We also discuss the games we've been playing this week. Mike completes The Last Faith, and Cocoon, and also begins gameplay on Super Mario Bros Wonder, and Super Mario RPG Remake. Kim puts Redfall on pause until some issues are sorted out, completes Control, and begins Control's DLC "The Foundation", continues playing Inscryption, and heats things up with the racey Flipwitch.
