Construction walls have gone up and encircle the ticket booths on the Disney California Adventure side of the west esplanade. This is a great sign of progress. The old Tortilla Jo's location, which has been sitting stagnant since demo finished in the summer, is still happening, but waiting on permits with the city to continue. Brad Bird who made a name for himself with the likes of The Iron Giant, The Incredibles and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol again delves into live action with an epic tale of alternate dimensions, retro-futurism, robots, jet packs and George Clooney's. Maybe it was too early or maybe it was too late but it didn't make much of an impact upon release despite being a pretty charming and positive adventure.
