The book "Ameritopia" explained that John Locke had profound influence on America's founders during the Revolutionary period. Locke's philosophy was, natural law, derived from God's will, governs all, including governments; no authority can violate inalienable rights; and governments exist by consent to preserve these rights, not create them. This connects to the Declaration of Independence's principles. Kaine's view is stunning and representative of the Democrat position. Also, the Democrat Party has radicalized far beyond its base, leaving behind traditional Democrats like veterans, police, firefighters, and generational members who now form a minority. A recent Gallup poll, show that only 42% of Democrats view capitalism positively, while 66% favor socialism. This reflects the entire party, not just the base, as evidenced by elections of socialists in cities like New York and support for figures like AOC and Bernie Sanders. This Democratic radicalization is partly due to new immigrants from anti-capitalist societies. Later, Dr Zuhdi Jasser calls in to discuss his run for Arizona's 4th Congressional district. Jasser emphasized his commitment to service, love for America, and fighting against radical Islam, and far-left policies exploiting freedoms. When Amy Coney Barrett was appointed to the Supreme Court, she was in some ways an unlikely choice. She was living in South Bend, Indiana, not New York or D.C. She went to Notre Dame Law School, making her the only justice that didn't go to Harvard or Yale. She's the mother of seven kids. And, at the time of her appointment, she'd largely spent her career as a professor, with just under three years on a federal appeals court. To put it bluntly, Amy Coney Barrett was an outsider. But people close to President Donald Trump saw something: She was an originalist. A former clerk for Antonin Scalia. A devout Catholic with real intellectual bona fides. And a rising star in the conservative legal movement. In short, she was the ideal jurist to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg. After her 2020 nomination, the left called her inexperienced and a religious zealot. They said her confirmation hearing was rushed, and that she would undermine trust in the Supreme Court. But with a 52–48 vote, just six weeks before the 2020 presidential election, Barrett was confirmed—without one Democratic vote. She took her seat at the highest court at just 48 years old, and became only the fifth woman to ever serve on the Supreme Court. Considering how our nation's most powerful people stick around into their 80s, she'll likely have a major impact on American law and life for decades to come. We're now five years into her time on the bench. And in a turn of events, CNN ran a piece last year titled “The Last Best Hope for Supreme Court Liberals: Amy Coney Barrett.” Newsweek ran “Amy Coney Barrett Is Liberal Justices' ‘Best Chance': SCOTUS Analyst ” and The New York Times ran “How Amy Coney Barrett Is Confounding the Right and the Left.” How did we get from “dangerous, religious zealot” to “last best hope”? On one hand, Barrett has done what one would expect of a Republican appointee: voting to overrule Roe v. Wade; voting to outlaw affirmative action; and voting against the administrative state. At the same time, she has voted with liberal justices in some of the most pivotal cases—and in Trump-related cases, she is the member of the conservative supermajority who has sided in Trump's favor the least.  In short, Barrett surprises. She just wrote a new book called Listening to the Law: Reflections on the Court and Constitution, where she makes the simple but salient points: Her job is not to like all of her decisions, nor is it  to please the media or a president. When it flirted with activation in 2023, Claudia Sahm herself urged caution because of pandemic era distortions, but she also stressed that if it flipped cleanly, it meant the labor market was weaker than the glossy headlines implied. Fast forward, and the revisions now show that's exactly what happened. In August 2024, BLS benchmark adjustments erased 818,000 jobs. By February 2025, another 589,000 were gone. And just recently, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent flagged that another 800,000 could be stripped out. Add to that the steady drip of downward revisions through 2025, June flipping from a modest gain to a net job loss and the labor market has been overstated by somewhere between 2.3 and 2.4 million jobs since April 2023. Like i said in my previous post that kind of wholesale rewrite hasn't happened since 2009, when the BLS had to admit it had massively overstated payrolls heading into the financial crisis. And history shows that these benchmark adjustments aren't just statistical clean up. They almost always surface at turning points, the stagflationary recession of the mid 1970s, the double dip downturn in the early 1980s, and the collapse of 2007-09. They're usually evidence that the economy was already much weaker beneath the surface, and the headline strength was more illusion than fact. Which brings us back to the Sahm Rule. On the charts today, the indicator looks muted, sitting well below the 0.5 threshold. But that's because the unemployment rate itself has been calculated off job counts that are now being revised down. If those missing millions of jobs had been reflected at the time, the unemployment rate would have been higher, the Sahm Rule would have ticked up, and the U.S. might already be shown as having tripped into recession In other words, the Sahm Rule didn't miss, the inputs did. Once the revisions are fully baked in,

You didn’t see it because Bob Iger and ABC and Disney whored themselves out pre-censoring the truth. CBS just did that too - and worse, agreeing NOT to edit out any lies by Trump Gang members. THE PRIMARY RESIDENCE WITCH-HUNT? The mortgage app alleged white lie with which Trump hopes to bring down a Fed governor and Letitia James and Adam Schiff? The nut job releasing the alleged evidence is Bill Pulte and guess what public records show HIS OWN PARENTS DID? They ALSO CLAIMED multiple "primary residences" - and you can only have one. Oops. THERE IS SOME GOOD NEWS: per G. Elliott Morris: mainstream Trump polling is flat, unchanged. But the INTERIOR numbers? Since January Trump’s STRONG approval number - the diehards - has dropped from 34% to 24%. That's down a third. And his STRONG disapproval number - the haters - has grown from 36% to 46%. Also a third. That is unsustainable. B-Block (41:53) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: "Gunther Eagleman" and the other similarly stupidly named Right Wing influencers now alleged to be on yet ANOTHER country's payroll.
